Holiday Inn at Universal: Good location

Front desk customer service was excellent Rooms very outdated needs lots of work,carpets need to be removed very dirty,toliet seats very old need new ones,bathroom very small in one bedroom suite.. Location perfect for universal and i-drive trolley... The complimentary shuttle runs very little doesnt help ..took ubers and taxes instead... Would not return to this hotel

Catalonia Montego Bay: Good value

The grounds were nice, even though there is only one buffet there are many other places to get food. The food is delicious. The rooms were sufficient, almost everyone of them have an ocean view of some kind.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Blissful

Very relaxing, loved the variety of foods especially Jamaican dishes. Fantastic and friendly staff. The beach was clean and no big wave. It’s safe and quiet. Night time entertainment ends too early for those who likes to stay up very late. Planning to go again 😀

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Good value for your money

The hotel grounds were immaculate. The staff was very friendly and outgoing and very helpful. The room was nothing fancy but it was always clean. Overall, a very positive experience for my 14-year-old daughter and myself, as well as my parents.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Love this place

Love love love this resort. Will be back for sure!! Great food, great staff, very accommodating and always with a smile. Beach is amazing and the grounds are kept beautiful. The entertainment could be better but we don't go for the entertainment...we go for the relaxing atmosphere and the beach and sun!!

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Clean no frill resort

Holiday inn is very adequate. Do not expect luxury. The rooms are clean, the view is not a sea view, it is peek a boo, but the gardens are very nice. The food is adequate, again not great. You must sign up for the one restaurant each day. The buffet is cold and not very good. The hotel is set quite far back from the sea, so no being rocked to sleep with the sound of the waves.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Quaint and Relaxing

Firstly, the transfer to the resort was prompt and smooth. There was no heavy push to sell. Yahoo! We were warmly welcomed by the resorts bell hops and front counter staff. The overview given, of the amenities, was both clear and helpful. Our room was simply appointed but clean. A lightbulb was burnt out, over the washstand and our toilet loved to continue to run. Room service was excellent! The maids greeted us warmly and kept the room tidy and spotless. The food at the resort was good. The buffet offered much choice, especially at breakfast. That is when we ate. It was somewhat of a necessity to dine there early, as it was where you had to make reservations for dining at the sole a la carte venue. The waiters, at all of the locations were friendly and their service was outstanding. Two of the standouts for us were; Sotchitl and Dolce. These two went out of their ways to make your dining experience pleasurable. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the entertainment staff. The shows were put on by a minimal crew. The dancers were excellent, but the announcer was brash and repetitive, as were the pools entertainment staff. The same routines were boisterously blared out day after day. The music was annoyingly loud as were the staff’s comments shouted out. Not impressed! The resort’s beachfront was kept clean. Although the water was not swim able, due to dangerous undertows, the beach offered miles of walking pleasure. I witnessed a baby turtle’s struggle to get to the water’s edge and several marine displays. We were given shows by: whales , dolphins and sea lions. Frigate birds and pelicans dove into schools of bait fish. Osprey , egrets and gulls frequented the nearby estuary. At the boca ,or mouth , of the estuary local fishermen cast their nets, with great success! They caught several bait fish and quite a few larger fish. The smallest of these were offered up to people casting nearby. We rode the “chicken buses” into both nearby San Jose and the further Cabos San Lucas. Local inhabitants were accommodating, helpful and friendly. San Jose was only a 20 minute walk from the resort. The town is filled with high end art shops and good eateries. The pace here was more laid back than at the frenetic Cabo. Cabo was a typical hawkers paradise. It seemed that everyone there was on the make. The hard sell there was prevalent. Not my style! All in all, we had a relaxing , rejuvenating stay at a very reasonable price.

Catalonia Montego Bay: A great vacation!

My wife & I really enjoyed our weeklong stay at the Holiday Inn in Mo Bay. The staff were great, the upgraded room we got was great, the nightly entertainment was great & the food was delicious too. Particularly enjoyed the savory flavors of the Jerk Hut. All in all we had a wonderful time eating, drinking & savoring sunshine at this property. There are definitely newer, flashier & more expensive JA resorts but part of the truly attractive charm of Mo Bay's Holiday Inn is the relaxing, unpretent [... read more]ious ambiance. Kudos to the management for giving the staff the latitude to create a warm & personable vacation environment. My only issue is that I really like to go for long ocean swims when I am on vacation & this resort did not have swimmer access to water that was deeper than a few feet. Great & very safe for families & children, but not ideal for someone who wants to get out into deeper water. To satisfy my athletic ocean interests I had to go to a different beach in Mo Bay.

Friendly staff. Great food entertainment very clean and alacart was delicious. We stayed for seven days early December 2019. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again. The fish fry and jerk hut was very good.

Holiday Inn Huatulco: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

The Good: The hotel is super clean with very friendly helpful staff. Ac worked well. and there were quality towels aplenty. -The food was very good for an all inclusive. This was probably due to the restaurant also being a small private restaurant where folks could buy a meal. Breakfast had a good variety of mexican fare. The lunch and dinners were ala carte .Not a lot of variety but the quality was good and they were open to customisation on your order.. - Your room has a Key card entry s [... read more]ystem working in conjunction with the lights and AC which were activated by the same card by placing it permanently in a slot just inside the door. This helped you to not lose your card in the room and could always be extracted from the holder as you left the room and thereby also turning off the AC and lights. The Bad: The KeyCard worked 90% of the time. When not you had to trek to the front desk for a quick reprogramming. - The pool is small. Only four and a half feet deep. More of a kids pool or one to cool in.There are three tiled recliners semi- submerged for wet sunbathers. If there are kids in the pool forget about using one of those recliners. - the closest beach is one block walk away. Not too bad. - The Bar, the outdoor eating area, entrance to the AC restaurant and washrooms ; fifty percent of the time require you to duck below an overhang of fronds thatching the palapa. This may not sound like much but it gets truly tiring and if you have a bad back its a pain. I'm only 5' 9" . What's painful also is to watch how frustrated the waiters are with it. You ask why they don't just trim it back and they say they would love to but the Boss says no. Stupidity can be painful. Especially when you are trying to take a vacation from it. - Crap drinks that close at 11 pm. All mix drinks were sweet and made with watered down low grade liquor. If you ask why does this taste like sweet water? They will show you the quality liquor bottle, which has been refilled with watered down low grade liquor, and ask what's the problem? My choice at first was gin and tonics. They came sweet even when I would asked for no sugar. Eventually I looked at the can of tonic water and the second ingredient was sugar. From then on I just drank gin on the rocks. The draught beer was the worst ever. You can buy a can though. If you like Mezcal you need to buy it. Doesn't make sense as mezcal in Mexico is so cheap. As cheap as the bad booze they serve. They do have a good variety of all liquors you can pay for though. The tequila was free. We had a glass each and I wouldn't even use it as paint thinner. The Ugly: On the first day I relaxed around the pool. Went in a couple of times to cool off until one the fellow SunWing guests from Victoria stood in the pool spitting and blowing his nose. This went on for awhile. I believe more than that went after but why bother explain. I never went back in.

Holiday Inn at Universal: Average Resort

The hotel was dated and the room service was below average. The room was not fully equipped. We had to ask for extra towels and shampoo few times. The room was not fully cleaned every day. We asked to have the room cleaned few times through out our stay. The staff was helpful but I won't stay again at this hotel. It was a 20 minute drive from Disney. The Disney tickets that we purchased from the hotel had a caveat attached to it where we were asked to attend a marketing seminar to purchase time  [... read more]share with the Holiday Inn resorts. That was not explained to us prior to buying the tickets. Overall the trip was good. Air Transat had good service.

Holiday Inn Orlando SW Celebration Area: Amazing resort !

Hotel was great! The staff was bee friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect and had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub ! The hotel was walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and stores !

Catalonia Montego Bay: Good resort

The hotel environment is very commercial, more like of a 3 star resort, but we enjoyed the water and the sun. We had to change the room, although we paid a premium for a deluxe rom with a front ocean view that was actualy partial view and with a toilet we had to ask to be repaird 3 times in two days. We ended up paying more to upgrade to a real front ocean view and no toilet problems. We expected inside restaurants to be included, but 4 out of 6 charged between 20 to 29 USD. Our Canadian [... read more] debit cards did not work and the trips were provided at a double price than the actual entrance fees with transportation included (we paid online 70 USD for Dolphin Cove instead of 129 USD advertised by Sunwings at the hotel, which is a little exagerated). When we booked on tripcentral, we saw different types of room than those defined by the hotel on their website. We still did not udnerstand what is the correspondence between all those 5 types of rooms on your site and the 2 types on Holiday Inn webste (standard and suite). We asked at the reception if we can accummulate points at holiday Inn, so we can start building up points, and we were given a form, but after we filled it in, they said they did not know who has it, so we do not know how to do it.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Great Value

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort in from November 13 through the 20 on a last minute trip. I was very happy with the resort in general. It is a smaller resort that is very well maintained as far as the grounds and the rooms are concerned. I found the layout of the resort to be nice and easy to get around. The food was good. The buffet was fairly small but all of the food replenished and was kept fresh during mealtimes. Personally, I would have preferred more raw items on the salad bar like [... read more] beans or legumes but I am being picky. The staff was extremely attentive and very friendly. It is a fairly quiet place but that suited me. I also enjoyed the proximity to the bird estuary for walks next door and was lucky enough to catch the turtle hatching on the property. Another plus was the resort was within walking distance to downtown San Jose Del Cabo. It is a nice town and recommend going out to the Artwalk on Thursday evenings.

Holiday Inn Resort Aruba: What an Amazing resort

We spent a week vacation at Holiday inn, the staff was super friendly , we really enjoyed the place, the food is amazing, the chef came to see us during souper time and made us feel like home. The location of the hotel is great also, the beach is beautiful!!! Thanks to our travel agent Tanya Smith to help us and find us a dream vacation!!!

Older hotel but very well kept Very clean Staff could be friendlier A la carte restaurants are excellent including service Buffet good variety Beech is nice Good activities are on site Tennis mini putt billiards etc.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: very nice clean resort

Very nice hotel/resort layout! Short walk to all areas ie pools, restaurants and lobby. Would have liked more variety at the buffet restaurant ----- ie ice cream, yogurt and more fruit at lunch and supper time. Cappucinos and regular coffees were really good! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely good value for the price we paid.

Staying at the Holiday Inn Resort was amazing. We had a good time for the first 4 days. Our room was very clean and well kept. Staffs were very friendly and welcoming. Over all it was good. We both fell sick for the last three days. No sure what it was.

Catalonia Montego Bay: More than I had expected

I went to the resort not expecting much as it was inexpensive. I was totally surprised with the overall resort. It has great restaurants, a great jerk hut, above avg entertainment and the staff were great.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great Atmosphere

The room was clean, the people there were very nice and helpful. It bothers me all the signs they have there saying what you cannot do. The pool closed at 6pm that make no sense. I enjoyed all the activities they have during the day and the night shows.
