Riu Palace Pacifico: Return trip..loved it

So we stayed at the Riu Palace Pacifica 7 years ago and wanted to compare after the renos and changing to an adults only. The staff at this resort was exceptional, everyone seemed to be enjoying their jobs which makes for a wonderful atmosphere. The rooms were very nice, bathroom with large walk-in shower. AC was quite quiet and worked well. Nice balcony and we found the bed comfortable. Food was excellent at all restaurants, buffet and pool area. Drinks were very good..we tried many. Pools an [... read more]d grounds were well kept. Something to note was this resort was truly accessible, we watched many people with limited mobility enjoying the pool, restaurants and grounds, good on you RIU for considering this. Only small negative would be the large pillars blocking the stage for night shows from the sides, you need to come early and sit directly in front of stage to see. Very swimmable and walkable beach. 20 min walk to Buceries. All in all would definitely recommend and return.

Riu Palace Bavaro: The Best

Had a great time , The resort was very clean , friendly staff, food and drinks were great. No problem at the pools always chairs available. Lots of bench loungers . The beach was clean , no garbage … Will be back

Riu Flamingos: RIU Jalisco Puerto Vallarta April 2026

Fantastic vacation, great room, food, pools, staff and ocean was so warm I practically lived there. Highly recommend for couples, and kids (separate climbing structure and pool, buffet had lots of choices for them)

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Fantastic resort

We arrived with a party of 10 to celebrate my 70th birthday. Check in was quick and easy, rooms and resort were clean. All requests were accompanied by the efficient and friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable and the views were stunning. The buffet dining had something for everyone and the Al a cart restaurants were amazing. Pools were wonderful with great view of the ocean and beach. Really have no complaints about this resort and would definitely go back again

Riu Playa Blanca: Great Resort

The hotel and staff were very good. That being said, there are 2 things I would improve: 1. Mention that the pool table in the Sports bar is an extra cost of $5 per hour. 2. The quality of the steak at the steakhouse. The steak was delicious, and sizeable, but very thin. A thicker cut would have been nice. That's about it. All in all, it was a great hotel!

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Great Resort!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Riu Tropical, beautiful beach. The grounds were well maintained and the staff were all so kind and helpful. The food was really good, many varieties to choose from. Definitely going to return.

Riu Dunamar: Vacation Review

We recently traveled with Sunwing and had a wonderful vacation overall. The resort itself was beautiful, well maintained, and clearly cared for. The maid service was excellent—rooms were consistently clean, and the lobby and common areas were spotless throughout our stay. The buffet servers and wait staff truly stood out. They were friendly, attentive, and provided great service everywhere—even on the beach. We also noticed how hard the maintenance team and gardeners worked daily to keep the property looking its best—it did not go unnoticed. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, and the airport transfer service was smooth and well organized. The beach was beautiful, even though we experienced red flag conditions most of the week. A special mention to the Nexus reps, who were very helpful and provided great recommendations throughout our stay. That said, one concern worth noting: during our stay, we had an unfortunate interaction with a front desk manager who was extremely rude and displayed what felt like intimidating and unprofessional behaviour. This left us feeling uneasy and somewhat unwelcome, which was disappointing given how positive the rest of our experience was. Overall, we truly enjoyed our vacation and would return, but we hope management addresses guest service consistency at the front desk level.

Riu Palace Macao: Exceptional Resort

We booked two weeks at the Riu Macao in April 2026. It was very good. If you look at the resort website, there are no bad surprizes. The room was clean, well stocked with clean towels, the bar was restocked daily. The beach is exceptional. We did not use the pool but there are 4 of them. Pepe`s food at noon had some of the best burgers we have ever had. Food at The Patio was very good & lots of it. The coffee bar is great as well as The Cuban Bar. Ver Pleased.

Riu Playa Blanca: Fantastic Resort

We visited the Riu from April 13 to April 20th and had a fantastic time. The rooms were cleaned and tidy. The buffet food was very good. The beach was clean and pools were amazing. The staff were friendly but most of them will speak Spanish and did not speak English . I will rate this resort as a *****.

Very clean resort and rooms All the workers do amazing job.keep up excellent work I will most certainly be back to Stay again absolutely no complaints I will recommend to other people. Food was fabulous loved it very much

Riu Republica: Ok resort

Positive. Always something to do at the resort. Food is not the best at all. Enough to eat and not starve but really not great. Rooms are outdated , ac doesn’t work well, water switches from hot cold and showers are difficult to have. Far walls to rooms- due to large resort. Would I go again, no . It was a nice stay but will try other resorts. Not easy to get things to room

Riu Palace Pacifico: It was an amazing resort.

The hotel was like a palace. Beautiful, clean, spacious. The grounds were beautiful and the view stunning. The food was amazing, however having to be gluten free I feel things could have been labelled better in the buffet. The staff and service was above and beyond.

Riu Bambu: Riu Bambu

Hello ? It was my second time at Riu Bambu, amazing resort, very clean, the food was fresh and great variety to choose from. Shows for kids and adults every night, lots of fun. Everyone is very friendly and helpful....going back again ?✈️

Riu Playa Blanca: Great resort

The resort was fantastic; I realized I wasn’t an all inclusive person; but the service was outstanding even with one elevator down. I went on one excursion and it wasn’t the best; really a waste of time and money. The food was great!!

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Wonderful Stay!

I had read some negative reviews about this hotel and was wary about staying here. However from the moment we pulled up to the resort to the moment we checked out, I was very impressed. The grounds, the pools, the rooms, the lobby! Yes, it is starting to show its age, people had trouble with the room keys etc., however we had no complaints. We were able to try all the a la carte restaurants, you just need to line up early. There was never any problem getting into the Italian restaurant at an [... read more]y time. The buffet was also very good. Food was abundant and so many options! The staff were also wonderful, so attentive. All in all we had a wonderful time!

Riu Guanacaste: Amazing resort

Well looked after property and the staff were friendly and healthful . Lots of pools to choose from and different views to enjoy . The hotel room was spacious in great location with a view of the green space behind with monkys playing on the trees . Plenty of food to choose from . Overall we really enjoyed our stay there .JV

Riu Emerald Bay: You need to go here!

This resort is clean and well staffed with great service right from the start. The food here is absolutely 15/10. We really enjoyed the Mexican food options, fresh guacamole, and the seafood. We loved the sheer variety of food at every meal. The bartenders are awesome at both adult pools and it was never long to get a drink. The beach was beautiful with no problems finding a chair on the beach at all. Sometimes it was a little bit more difficult to find a chair at the pool, but we weren't too wo [... read more]rried about that. Pepe's food was a great option every afternoon if you were enjoying your time in the pool and not wanting to dry off. There were great options like tacos, nachos, burgers, fries, hot dogs, etc. Along with the staff being very helpful and attentive I also found just everyone in general at the resort friendly and there for a good time. I usually go to adults only resorts but there were lots of families there enjoying their time as well. There are two adults only pools where we spent our time along with the beach. I thought everything would be crowded and we would have to wait for food and drinks but I can't say it enough. This resort was so well staffed that you barely had to wait for anything and there was always enough food and drinks for everybody. I also found with the amount of guests at this resort I never felt like it was crowded. If you're headed to this resort also try a "dirty monkey" at the bar as well as a round of "mini beer" shots with your friends! We will definitely be back and probably bring the whole family next time.

Riu Republica: Wonderful resort

Had a wonderful time the resort was amazing. The staff very friendly.. The resort is very large lots of hotels and bars pools. The food was really good. The only complaint I had is the buffet food was cold and the beds were a little hard, but something I could live with.
