Great resort

We had a wonderful time at the Flamingo Las Vegas. We have been to Las Vegas several times and always stay at the Flamingo. Besides being in the centre of the strip we spent most of the daytime hours in their fabulous pool area. The food and drinks were awesome and staff was always courteous.

Great resort

I loved everything about the Flamingo only issue is with Wifi it was challenging to set it up daily very friendly atmosphere pool was inviting the staff helpful our room was spotless window view right on the strip I felt safe happy and excited to be there !

A classic hotel.

We had a great room overlooking the strip.The hotel was clean and well maintained.We also appreciated the visible security on the property.We felt safe.The only issue we want to mention is the set up for WiFi on a daily basis.We found that inconvenient. Overall,I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Not Great

Just an ok hotel with worn down rooms ? Much better places to stay on the strip for not much more $ or around the same ....check in was over 1.5 hours ??? Bathroom ceiling leaked water from room above the first night ....had 2 maintenance guys in the room at 2am ...not fun ...had too change rooms the next morning another 2 hour wait etc !

Nice place

Our room, (finally) was great. The hotel and area is great. Centrally located. Our room had a disgusting and clogged toilet when we checked in. It took 4 hours, 4 calls and finally a trip to the front desk to get the problem recitified. I was not impressed. Lots of people passing the buck as to why it wasn't done. I had paid at the desk for a room upgrade, after the desk visit, we were further upgraded To a suite which was a great room and finally made the trip worth it.

Is needing a little updating the tub tap ran all night the first night, they were really good at replacing it the following day but still dripped we were in the old part of the hotel, Thank goodness the wedding couple were in the newer updated part.

Staff was good and restaurants were ok, but there is so many around we didn't eat there much. I think if they lowered the prices a bit would attract more people. We ate at the Hash House next door a few times, was Fantastic food with reasonable prices and we had left overs to take to the homeless..........was a better bang for our dollar

FLAMINGO LAS VEGAS

Flamingo is an amazing resort the grounds and rooms were great and service was amazing. The only issue we had was checking in and out. The line ups are long and wait time is ridiculous,they need to streamline this. We were there 5 days and the line ups for checking in and out were long everytime we walked by. I have stayed at the Flamingo 6 times and would recommend it, only issue is checking in/out

Love the Flamingo

The only negative thing we have to say about the Flamingo is the Checkin/ checkout, it is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced, the wait time is ridiculous, they really need to figure out a better system, this will actually make us look for another hotel the next visit, which is too bad because the actual hotel itself is wonderful, the outside grounds are absolutely beautiful, this time we opted out of maid service, the restaurants were great

Flamingo Hotel

Hotel situated in the middle of the strip, walking distance to many featured hotels. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food at the buffet (Paradise) very good. Not a lot of "deals" to be had on the strip. Food and beverage tend to be pricy. A part from standard souvenirs, not a lot to purchase, at least I did not.

Great Resort

Hotel was huge and great views of the strip. Loved the flamingos and the nature walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to Margaritaville which has an amazing happy hour. Go see Piff the Magic dragon.

Fantastic resort!

Hotel was great, very practical, innovative and charming. Great for our girls weekend. Very polite and helpful staff with no issues whatsoever. Comfortable and convenient right on the Las Vegas Strip. Will definitely come back!

Last Time

From the start, the check in for the ordinary folk is a long wait in line, unless you are platinum or diamond. Asked if we could be on the same floor as our friends and apparently all they had was upgraded rooms on that floor and had to be 12 floors below. Was asked by check in staff if I wanted to fore go the first 3 days of housekeeping, but didn't even consider it for what we would receive in discount. The room was spacious and had a nice view, but was right beside stairwell and service room  [... read more]and with the paper thin walls, you could hear everything. The saving grace was that you are not in your room very much. The serving staff were very friendly with the exception of one of the bar staff. We enjoyed the casino and the couple of restaurants in the hotel, but would likely stay next door next time as the location is great on the strip, but the hotel needs to be updated for everyone.

Amazing budget hotel

We got this hotel at a fantastic price, worth every cent. The location is convenient for walking to all the other hotels/casinos. We ordered room service for breakfast which worked out great to make getting out very easy

Older resort

Rooms were outdated, poor lighting in rooms and no bathroom fan, poor soundproofing between rooms and hallways. Flamigo Habitate feature was amazing as was the part of the pool area that was opened. Buffet and stores at the flamigo were good but pricey.

Better room than last time

We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we checked in! Someone came to the lineup and took us to a kiosk instead of waiting. Checking out at kiosk was very fast also! The rooms are okay, but bathroom is dated. Lots of fun in casino, but the pool area is hard to find and too far away once you leave hotel area.

Ok resort

Rooms are in need of updating. Service in casino was not very good. Best feature is that it is central to everything. Habitat area is in need of updating. Looks dirty. Restaurants were kind of pricey.

Average Resort

Hotel is average along with the rooms. Check in was long and to check in before 1 pm was an additional $30 dollars on top of the $30 dollars you pay a night. Drinks while playing slots was very slow in you got served at all. Pool area was good and Charlie's and Carlos restaurant was good as well. Hotel is very busy but in a good location. 3 stars on average.

Not great

Check in was fine, room was dated , sheets were bleached to make you feel itchy, room cards stopped working night one it was about 1.5 hours to get it fixed, safe wouldn't open( faster response to repair here), just didn't seem to be maintained good enough. I would spend a few more bucks next time to upgrade if that's what a fab deluxe European plan get you! Staff were good , pools are great, location is nice and central.

Great Location, average Hotel

This hotel was perfectly located and it was easy to get around. The Linq promenade was great and the view from our room (19th floor ) was incredible!! But the lobby and casino wasn't that great compare to the other hotels. We mostly played and went to see shows in other hotels such as NYNY, Mirage, MGM. I would probably go back there if it was a free stay but I think it would be worth it to spend a little more and go to another hotel. Taking the bus saved us tons of walking and it was the best [... read more] bus service I have seen, we never had to wait more than 4-5 minutes at the bus stops.

Very Disappointing

My husband and I have just returned from staying at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Check-in was fine, the room very plain but clean. We came to our room at midnight to find it wasn't made up one night. The bed was stripped the pillows were on the floor and the clean sheets on the dresser, after making four phone calls about this, I made the bed at 1am myself. This was disappointing as we'd paid extra for an up grade, so not worth it at all !
