Amazing Resort - Met and exceeded our expectations

Marnie recommended this resort and was exceptionally professional to deal with. We can highly recommend her services and the resort. The butlers all did their best to spoil us. The swim up rooms the best we have seen in our travels. The food and service very good. We (family of 10) had a fantastic time.

Memorable vacation!

Loved the resort, staff is super friendly and service was perfect. The food was ok nothing great. But that's to be expected at any resort. Beautiful looking resort, very clean and well kept. Entertainment team always kept things fun and made sure everyone was having a great time. My kids loved the splash pad and big pool. Only down side was that I had no idea this resort backed on to a busy street. Overall it was a great vacation and would recommend this resort.

Beautiful, Modern Resort

Upon arriving at the hotel, just stepping off the bus, we were greeted with a warm, fresh, towel to clean our hands.This was a lovely touch after a long day of travel. Reception staff were very professional, efficient and friendly, highlighting the main features of the hotel. Hotel lobby is amazing! 24 hour coffee bar was excellent. Rooms are exactly as shown on the web site (beautiful, modern, clean). We had an awesome ocean view, nice balcony. Food was very good; we tried a couple of the rest [... read more]aurants but liked the variety of the buffet restaurant for dinner. We stayed for 10 nights and could easily have stayed for a few more days. The only minor complaint is that there was loud music blaring until the wee hours of the morning. I think it was coming from a neighbouring hotel so really not within their control. Also, there were lots of fresh beach towels available all day long - I read a complaint about this when I was booking so it seems this issue has been resolved.

Royalton Negril

This is our new favorite resort. A true 5 star. The swim out pools were amazing and the water was warm. The beach was beautiful and it was close to everything. Food was great at all the restaurants and the buffet. The resort was very safe and the staff were amazing. Going back in 2019😎

WORST VACATION EVER.....WORST RESORT EVER...NOT A 5 STAR AT ALL!!

Do not go to this resort. Suggesting it is a 3 star resort would be pushing it. I would love to know how Royalton can claim that it is a 5 star resort. Dinner reservation were a nightmare. Rooms are poorly finished and damaged. Constant power outages across the entire resort. Always running out or products, drinks, food. Worst experience ever. DO NOT GO ROYALTON NEGRIL OR CANCEL YOUR BOOKING

The resort is a disaster and not 5 star. The property and buildings are not even a year old but it looks and feels like a 3 star hotel. Power outages, poor quality of finishes, shortage or drinks and food. Table linen napkins, chairs and place mats were soiled and not clean. We traveled as a group of 6 adults and 2 children at a cost of $30,000 and it was the worst value for our money ever spent. Share transfer was another nightmare. a 1.5 drive took us 4 hours. Bus broke down on the road blocking 2 lanes of traffic in both direction in the dead of night. We need to find a passerby and hitchhike to the resort at 11:00 at night with 6 bags of luggage and 2 young children. The whole experience was a nightmare. Stay away from Royalton Negril. I could go on for days with a detailed list of issues.

Fantastic new Resort!

The resort is well layout, the grounds well kept. The entire resort faced the ocean so where you sit whether in main lobby or coffee cafe or sports bar balcony and outside seating at restaurants you can see the beautiful blue ocean.

Very clean and new

The food was exceptional and the staff in all areas were generous, kind and friendly. I loved the sitting down check in where we were assisted with immediately. Our check in guide made us feel like we were royalty. The place was so grand and clean. I would rate this place 4/5. I do have little kids so the only thing I wanted more of was children friendly entertainment. Their shows and day time activities/involvement often were geared towards an older crowd.

Amazing resort (Correction**) AMAZING STAFF!!!!!!!!

My wife and I loved the resort, the employees were all absolutely amazing and made our honeymoon sweeter than we could have ever expected. It isn't often when you can connect with people in a surreal genuine way but this occurred for my wife and I at the Royalton in Negril. As peculiar as this sounds, it felt as if everybody at the hotel were our family and although my wife and I wanted to get back to real life we felt emotionally tethered to the employees at the Royalton and because of this we  [... read more]were reluctant to leave. Some of the employees that we would like to mention: Keno Maxian Laticia Clithy David Kendra Shanae Chris The only sadness that I have in writing this review is that there were so many other employees who I can remember their actions, smiles, kind words, support and overall love and care but I can't remember their names and that is a fault on me not them. This trip has prompted me just to be better at remembering the names of the loving people who contribute to my life. I am honestly so honoured to have been able to meet and speak with and get to know the above listed people and even the ones whose names I cannot remember.

Great vacation - with a few things to work on

Hands down the food was amazing and the resort is big. They need a little work on service. Our first day, we ordered room service and we got our food 4 hours later !!! After calling a few times. It was a little challenging at the front desk,however after talking to them and changing our room the rest of the week went smoothly. The pool and the beach were awesome. We would definitely come back and hopefully they will work on the inconsistencies and improve, but overall it was a beautiful resort.

A memorable time!

Weather was great all week. Stayed in building 2 which was directly in front of beach and a 5 minute walk to lobby and restaurants. Rooms were kept very clean. Crystal clear water and great beach to walk along, was able to see all kinds of sea life while swimming - crabs, star fish, jelly fish, stingray, multiple varieties of fish. Amazing vacation!!!

We spent a week at the hotel with some friends and had an amazing time. The beach was beautiful, the resort grounds and rooms were amazing. The food both a la carte and buffet were great- never had a bad meal. The staff were incredibly inviting and friendly...Kadeem and odaine took care of us all week long they were awesome!! Fantastic Vacation!

We were a little nervous about this trip because the resort opening was later than expected. NO NEED! The resort is beautiful starting with its impressive lobby, to the restaurants and gorgeous rooms. Every room has an ocean view. We stayed on the Hideaway side and the view from our room was breathtaking! The beach on the Hideaway side was not to my liking as it was rocky and very small but the main beach was beautiful, I loved it! No need for any reservations for the restaurants (except f [... read more]or Zen) and no strict dress code for the men so eat when you want and guys, be comfortable while doing it! All restaurants have the option for indoor or outdoor seating which is another fantastic feature. Now let's talk about the buffet! Best buffet I've been to in the Caribbean! Very big with lots of options and again have the option to eat in or out. The buffet also has a separate dining room for Hideaway residents. Also try to have lunch at Beach Point was the views are spectacular. That's where you can watch the sunsets as well, no need to go to Rick's cafe. I don't have anything to complain about. Yes there was construction but it didn't interfere with our vacation at all. On top of how beautiful this resort is, all of the employees are top notch! I mean genuinely helpful and friendly. All staff from Security to wait staff to cleaning people. We will definitely be back. Do not worry about going to this resort, I can't say enough about it!

Wonderful Family Vacarion

This resort is a force to be reckoned with! It has the most beautiful beach and my son simply adored the kids club - he is 4. Food was very good and the buffet was always filling. Sure, sometimes they ran out of stuff the later you arrived, but there was always food. The restaurants were nice, but the steakhouse was quite impressive. We also enjoyed lunch at the Italian restaurant and they catered to specific requests from my son. The resort is brand spanking new and they are ironing out th [... read more]e kinks, but I noticed improvement during the week we were there. Gorgeous pools and spectacular rooms. We stayed in a presidential one bedroom diamond club suite. Premium liquor, and alright wine. The evening entertainment needs a boost. I'm sure they will get there.

Grand Lido Negril

We returned to this resort for the last week they were open, we had made many friends. Our two real reasons for choosing this resort were because of the adult only policy and their outstanding staff. Othneil,Veneer,Dwight,Freyia,Carlene,Paula,Stacia,Lisa,Linda,Vanessa,Georgette,Leroy and all the other staff too numerous to mention you are absolute gems. Great location!

The hotel is set in a perfect and serene location close to the 7 mile beach and local nightclub. It offers a beautiful view, calm waters, and a beautiful beach with accessibility to other resort beaches. The staff are absolutely amazing and offer a variety of activities for everyone as well as great evening entertainment. The food wasn't great but the drinks were good. As for the resort building itself, they are closing it down and rebuilding it as it does indeed need a major make-over both in e [... read more]sthetics and functionality but I did like the style of the building as our rooms resembled quaint villas. The staff make the place

The staff at the Grand Lido are absolutely wonderful. The lamb at the cove bar were out of this world and the people at the cove were down to earth. We made a lot of new friends and will never forget our trip. The resort was nice and small which is what we like; you're not treated like someone on holidays but as a member of their family.

This resort was clean, not alot to do. Buffet should be available for all meals. rooms were nice, but myself and friend had to share king bed, was never responded to in regards to another bed . unlimited calls to Canada awesome, wifi great.

Great rseort

The rooms were a bit dated; however, the cleanliness, service and food were excellent. The beach and location of this resort is fantastic. My wife and I came back from this resort two days ago and we will go back.
