Not bad....

Only one bottle of water given at arrival. The rest of the time I had to refill the empty bottle at the lobby or snack bar. The layout was pretty good. Always something on the go. The disco was off the resort and had to pay for drinks there. No free drinks at disco. The best pool that I've ever seen in Cuba. Very clean and deep. The ocean was very shallow. Almost had to walk a 1/4 mile to find deep water. Food was good for Cuba.

Brisas Santa Lucia review

This trip was a dream. I felt as safe and taken care of as royalty. The staff and locals treated us so well and provided all luxuries. Good food, great weather, and a comfortable facility. I met people from all ages groups and family types. Everyone got along and created a magical space that felt genuine, real and separate from 'home'. Great vacation at the brises Santa Lucia cuba

We totally enjoyed our stay at this resort.super nice people and very nice service. Felt very safe.everyone was very helpful.the representative also was there to answer any questions we might have .room was clean. we will definitely be going back soon

Good resort

The employees were amazing, the food was pretty good for Cuba and we loved the excursions and the beaches and pool, the beds were not very comfy but it might of just been ours and it was hard to shower without the water changing temp while you were in it. All in all we had a great time for the money spent.

Great Value!

If you are looking for a budget beach vacation with wonderful friendly people, basic but spotless rooms, and good plain food, this resort fits the bill. It is located in a quiet corner of Cuba. A few after hours clubs to party if this is your thing, but basically a place to chill out, and enjoy the sun. Very popular with families.

Great Family Resort

This was my 16th visit to Brisas Santa Lucia. To say the staff and the resort is great is being modest. The food was good and plenty of variety ... the staff are pleasant, friendly and always remember a face. The resort is well groomed and clean. The room always had hot water and a/c. The celebrations on Christmas Eve and New Years were superb. Special shout out to the entertainment staff Carlito, Roly, Luigi, Jesus, and Judy, Maikel the best darn omelette, egg, pasta and pizza maker, Leno [... read more]r and Saida in the dining room and of course Birmania. The repeat guest lunch was amazing. Can't wait for my 17th trip!!!

Brisas Sata Lucia Terrible Resort

In approximately 20 trips to Cuba, I can honestly say this is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever visited - the food was very poor with little or no selection, how could they run out off eggs for breakfast - they ran out of both white and red wine several times. - All of the prepared food was cold, I know it is hard to keep large trays of food hot, but it is expected to be at least warm, most of this food was at room temperature including rice, chicken and scrambled eggs. The entertainmen [... read more]t was almost non existent with only a very limited evening show during the day there did not appear to be any organized sports or entertainment - The hotel was only at approximately 30 % of capacity, yet the only room available for me was on the 3rd floor, of course there was no elevator - Although they advertised Internet access they had no internet access cards available, it was approximately 1 Km off site to the store to purchase an internet access card. After walking to the outlet I was then informed that I could not purchase a card without a passport. So I had to repeat my walk. Approximately 70 % of the guests were Cuban, the staff was much more interested in socializing with their fellow Cubans than serving customers. Waits of several minutes were not uncommon while they socialized. The only positive item about the hotel was the rooms were clean and the bathrooms were quite modern with ample hot water and had an excellent air conditioning system. On my last day I asked for a 5:30 AM wake up call, They marked it into the book, but nobody bothered to call. Brisas is home away from home

Though we aerrived after Mathew had passed by Cuba and had left traces we were welcomed as usual with smiles and apologies from the staff on duty ,we were put in the pavillions available and clean from all debris .Food was alright and we did not miss anything so all in all it was great and the weather was amazing we had 32 and 34 with the humidity even more ,Brisas as always made me feel at home they tend to me as i need some help moving around ,they always try to make sure that im not too far f [... read more]rom any of the places we need to be ,like the dinning room ,coffee bar, and lobby . Te hotel brisas good clean . only the food no good . the beach very nice . i like the beach santa lusia.everything not bet . i want try to food better . this very important for every body . have a beautiful time .

Great Get-Away

Well kept resort, I was here in the summer, only 40 people at the resort. The staff were friendly and very attentive ( seeing how there were more of them than us. LOL) Food was top notch, Beer was Cold.

Grate resort

Beautiful park with flowers,people is very friendly ,service is too,very good....Pool is nice AND everything is clos ....bar works ALL night ..Entertainment is veru good, every night is show,very nice ,AND Fun . Beach is beautiful,send, chers ,AND ALL is very good,,I Like this hotel I was more times,AND i will go agein.hotel "Brisas"is very good.

Good resort

this resort is very good for the price we paid, This is my 3 time on the resort. I really enjoyed the house band very good musicians. my2 time in the same block and the cleaning lady the same she did very good job once again ,we go there for scuba diving and we were accomodatad right beside the dive shop , diving was amansing.

Needs work

Lower class resort. Staff was nice. Especially Jorge the Transit rep. You can't get better than him. Jorge is straight forward and willing to help you. Goes above and beyond to make your stay pleasant.

Has declined since the last time I was there

I was a little disappointed at the lack of services they offered due to their slow season. Same food everyday bacon was not real a guest I gave Serb in Cuba after going there 14 times. Ran out of white wine people were nice but not very helpful. I don't think I would go back to this hotel left a bad taste in my mouth which is too bad because I have never had a bad experience like l have on this trip.

Vacation at brisas

Fantastic holiday.. Wish we could have stayed longer.. Price was fantastic.. Resort was quaint., well maintained, not too busy... One of the best little getaways .. I have every had.. Beautiful !!! I most definately will return..

Pleasant Resort

Grounds were neat and the resort well maintained. There was a very nice pool. Lounge chairs were mostly always available at the pool and the beach. Staff was please and rooms were always clean. Would suggest filling the fridges on a daily basis and add variety to the selections in the buffet.

Good bar service

Nice hotel for the average traveller. Food was ok. Bar was 24h. Beach was a bit seaweed due to wind and reef. Reception was helpful when needed. Grounds were nice to walk threw. Overall the entertainment was fun.

Mature single women beware

the hotel is clean...the rooms sufficient...the food not bad....but be warned that Cuban hospitality is selective to the big tippers and vacationers who speak anything but english....save your money or give it to off resort Cubans who really appreciate the help and need it....attitudes toward mature single woman are prejudiced and you are treated

Great time all around

We had a great time. Food was good, beach was good, staff was good. Weather could have been better but that is uncontrollable. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Grounds were well maintained also. Overall, had a great time.

Good Holiday

Second time at this resort. Beach is beautiful and pool is great. Food is very good for Cuba. Staff is excellent. The evening entertainment has a lot to be desired...corny and juvenille, and very repetitive. Communication about events on resort, and excursions is VERY poor. Other than that, had a great time.
