Great Family Resort

The hotel had a great flow to it. The facilities accommodated everyone with ease. No lineups, no looking for a place at the beach or pool. The food and diner and parties by the pool were very well done. The restaurants were amazing.

Incredible Resort

We arrived at Coconut Bay on January 26, 2017. Have never been to any hotel or resort where the service was so seamless. We landed at the airport and less than an hour later, the kids were swimming in the pool. We waited less than 10 minutes for our rooms...amazing! The food is fantastic - including desserts, the service is exceptional (we had a problem with a/c and maintenance was there within 10 minutes) Pool is beautiful and the kids loved the lazy river. Certain areas are slightly fatigued but updates are in the works...immaculately clean though. Overall, best experience we have had so far and we've been many places (Antigua, Grenada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Jamaica, Portugal etc.)

We took our family of 8 to Coconut Bay for a weeks vacation and cannot speak highly enough about the resort. First the welcome we received, with no hassle registration was astounding. We have never had such a breeze in registering in other resorts - it was a long frustrating process but not at Coconut Bay. Staff were exceptionally friendly, one and all, without exception. They made you feel that they were glad you were at the resort. No lineups at meal time - the buffet which we used  [... read more]because of children was great - both quality and variety of food. Moving to "stations" is something every resort should do. The bbq at noon outside was great as well. In other resorts, first thing in the morning you had to go to the beach or pool and put your belonging down to claim a lounge. No so at Coconut Bay. With about 94% occupancy rate we never had a problem getting a lounge at the pool. facilities are exceptionally well maintained, grounds clean and inviting.

Wonderful family vacation!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of activities each day and the beach and pool areas are never over crowded because there is lots of room for everyone! St Lucia is a beautiful island and this resort was a great place to stay!

Great resort if you like kite surfing.

I chose this resort for teen activities. They were none. However there were many positives: excellent food, drinks, service very helpful, polite and accommodating, good Wi-Fi in the lobby. Could use improvement: entertainment, bathrooms had some mold in corners, teen activities. Overall very good resort.

Excellent vacation!

Coconut bay not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. The staff, food and entertainment were fantastic. While the resort is a bit dated (it was kept tidy and clean though) and the beach does have a turtle grass issue (it was turtle grass free just a short walk down the beach) we were aware before we went and it didn't take away from the experience at all. Coconut Bay gave us a terrific holiday!

This is an older hotel and small. It has an adult side and a family side. There is no room that has a bad view. Every morning you can see the ocean and two small islets on one side and a mountain on the other. Very beautiful Rooms- loved that it had more storage than needed! We are a family of 3 and loved not having to live out of suitcases!! The beds were comfortable and temperature was easy to control. Bathroom was dated, could use attention but were adequate. Loved the waffle/french toast bar, omelette station and smoothie bar. Pasta station and stir fry station was terrified and very good!! Twice a week they transformed the lawn for a huge dinner on the lawn. Very good food and lots of choices!!! Enjoyed the cook off between chefs and have never seen a bigger tuna!! Service-was good. People were friendly and happy to help with what you needed. Only downside was that I waited 20 minutes for orientation and no one showed up to run it Entertainment- loved the people In this crew!! they are fun, friendly and a bunch of laughs! They did not get much participation though, suggest that they do some things different to get people excited and wanting to join Excursions- very reasonable price and lots to choose from. Volcano was incredible as was the zip line. Recommend hiring a private driver for volcano your, price is almost the same and you get to choose your activity Downside-beach is terrible as it is the Atlantic side. If you want beach and blue water, this is not the spot for you Overall we loved the experience!! Will go back

Great family resort

Really comfortable and enjoyable family resort. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The Splash section is great for kids that are comfortable in the water. Large family pool with fun swim up bar for kids. The beach is steps from the pool for easy access.

Excellent Family Place

First Time to St. Lucia, The resort was in a great location, not even 5 mins from the airport, Food was amazing, great pools, size of the resort was perfect, Kids Club was by far the best we have seen. We would go back to this resort. There was aways a nice ocean breeze so you didn't overheat. They was so many activites for the kids with the water slides, lazy river and kids club it was a great place for families. There was also an adults only side of the resort.

Amazing Resort

Very relaxing holiday at this resort.Food and accommodations were great. The staff were always helpful. The water arrobics are the best. There was always lots of chairs around the many pools and beach towels always available.

Great holiday!

We loved everything about Coconut Bay-the room was clean, and provided a beautiful view of the ocean. The food was fabulous, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We truly had a wonderful holiday.

A paradise for the families!

We traveled to Coconut Bay resort at the beginning of November, and had a fantastic time. As a family with two small children, we greatly appreciated all the amenities that this resort offers: splash pad, kids club, petting zoo, family friendly pools and water slides. The food was top notch, we were in absolute culinary bliss the entire time. Having previously stayed in many well known resort chains, such as Gran Bahia, Riu, Decameron, we have to admit that the food selection and quality at Coco [... read more]nut Bay has exceeded our expectations. Must mention the beautiful desert table at the end of every meal and custom order made ice cream... yum! We learned that the chef at the resort has received numerous prizes as a top pastry chef in West Indies... And it definitely shows. The beach, although does not boast beautiful turquoise water as seen on Caribbean side of the island, is nonetheless nice, some turtle grass (has no seaweed odour) and soft sand. A special thank you to all the wonderful and friendly staff at the resort - everybody seemed to be genuinely friendly and even going out of their way a few times to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Also, can't beat the location of the resort, literally 2 min away from Hewanorra Int'l airport. After a long 5 hrs flight with two cranky kids, we were ready to begin our vacation in no time. There are so many positives about this resort, that we definitely marked it already into "we will be back" category. The island of St. Lucia is simply gorgeous and is great for exploring. The rooms (we stayed in the family friendly "Splash" side) are well appointed, and, while not Ritz Carleton, offer a great value for travelling with kids.

Dated,but clean,friendly and good food

This hotel is definitely 80's style or older? The people were very friendly, the rooms spotless,and the best bartenders! Make sure you meet De Joeker at the lobby bar,and Morgan at the swim up,who we beat at flip cup,but was a sore loser. The food was good,buffet better than expected. Don't miss the calabash restaurant ,but you can skip silk,and the Capri. Entertainment was surprising good,lots of pools,never waited for a drink, most people never tipped! Family Friendly Resort

Enjoyed that fact that it was minutes from the airport. Lots to do on the resort - really enjoyed the staff there. Even as two adults, we made use of the waterslides, lazy river, and swim up bar. Easy to walk along the beach all the way to town. Took out kayaks and went to the island that is just off the coast.
