Awesome resort

Very nice resort! All the staff so friendly and helpful. Excellent food everyday and lots of activities to keep you busy if you like. We loved the buffet on the beach for lunch everyday as well. We would go back again

Amazing resort!

Loved this hotel. It was clean updated, food was great diffrent type of food every night and the staff was always friendly and willing to help. The beach was amazing crytal clear. I would love to stay at this hotel again.

Great time!

Beautiful vacation resort. So much great food to eat, wonderful and friendly service from the staff and a clean beach to lounge at. We all enjoyed a kayaking adventure as well as other services the resort offers (scuba diving lesson, snorkeling). Fantastic Resort

I stayed at the Iberostar rose hall beach resort in Montego Bay. We visited from October 20-27. We were there for my wedding. Location: The resort is 20 minutes from the airport which is a definite bonus. The grounds was well designed in a U-shape. Everything is in close proximity. You don't have to walk far from your room to get to the restaurants, pool, beach or lobby. There is zero garbage on the ground. The landscape is in perfect condition. Lots of tall trees, flowers, fountains and p [... read more]onds. No bugs, barely any mosquitos or bees. Food: Our group made reservations for the steakhouse Monday, and Cajun and the Japanese restaurant for Tuesday night. The steakhouse is outdoors restaurant off the beach. The al a carte restaurants are small and spaces go fast, so make your reservation as soon as possible when you arrive rather than the day before you want to eat at the location. The food in the buffet was delicious. Every day the food had a different theme for breakfast lunch and dinner. For any guests who have allergies (such as myself) to seafood or fish, be careful. The fish dishes were placed directly beside other dishes so cross contamination from the utensils or serving tongs is possible. Note: all restaurants serve fish but the smell is not terribly overwhelming. While eating at the steakhouse, one of our guests found a chunk of plastic in her brownie, which cut her mouth. The serving staff were unsure of the source of the plastic. The chocolate Twinkies were inconsistent in texture, some soft and some rock hard making them unable to eat. Overall, the food is very tasty and flavorful. If you don’t like spices, there are many meat options that are not spicy. The mini bars in the rooms were not restocked daily, and we had to call for extra bottles of water. Staff: The staff was absolutely amazing. The bartenders are very kind and make sure each person is served in order without making anyone wait too long. Ask for Anthony, he makes the best drinks. The entertainment staff was the best. Shout out to Angel, Sparkles, and Macaroni. They were always by the pool and beach encouraging every one of all ages to get involved in the sports, games, and contests. The prizes and the praise are definitely worth it if you are shy. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was a little slow in various parts of the resort. If you are travelling with a group, I would recommend using Whats app or Facebook messenger to stay in contact with your friends and family. They work perfectly. Pool: There is one large pool with more than enough space for everyone. The swim up bar in the in the pool was only opened for one day, the other days it was closed (probably for construction). So you have to come out of the pool and walk to the bar stand to get a drink. There was always enough beach and pool chairs. Beach: The beach and sand are beautiful and clean. It is a long stretch shared between the 3 properties (Beaches, Suites, and Grand). The local vendors are on the beach daily, just ignore them or politely tell them to leave you alone if you don’t want to buy anything. Beware there are lots of jelly fish in the water and they do come close to the shore. Room Service: If you order room service be warned that the food may take a while to get to your room. You can always ask for extra clean towels. Not all rooms come with door signs that please do not disturb. To avoid room service or cleaning staff from coming into your room unwanted, I highly advice to use the top latch on your door. Entertainment: There are nightly shows in the theatre that start at 9pm. The disco is on the suites property, but it is only open Wednesday-Saturday. On some nights there is also a beach party with fire dancers. We enjoyed our stay and would visit the Iberostar resort again.

Amazing Time!!

We recently returned from having stayed at this resort and are very happy with our choice. The rooms were super comfortable, food was delicious and the staff amazing. We are beach people, so cannot comment on the pool, however it did look refreshing! We would recommend this hotel and hope to return in the not so distant future.

Beautiful resort with all of the right amenities. Staff is the friendliest we have ever experienced.

The venue was very beautiful with all of the palms, flowers and sandy beach. Entertainment at the pool and in the facility were really fun! The food was exceptionally tasty, varied and plentiful. Very relaxing vacation and the wedding ceremony was lovely. Rooms were nice and room service was exceptional. Off resort outings offered were varied and fun. Had a good opportunity to see the Jamaican country side. Locals were courteous and friendly, even the local vendors on the beach, although sometim [... read more]es a little pushy. The facility and beach were kept very clean and security was always present. We especially liked the lunch on the beach and beach bars. All in all we enjoyed the experience immensely.

Great Resort

nice and clean, food awesome, staff friendly, beach clean and great for swimming and lots of choices for shade or sun worshipers. Only problem was my wife bit into a piece of plastic in one of the desserts, they made her sign a waver but no compensation or apology. They said they would inspect kitchen and grille staff....

Great experience !!

Just got back from am amazing vacation here at iberostar rosehall beach!!! The weather was amazing, the service was fantastic and the resort is beautiful, but what really made this trip over the top was the unbelievably hard working entertainment crew!!! They really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time and that everyone felt included! Sparkles, leggo, chocolate, and macaroni were phenomenal but a HUUGE shout out goes to Mr. neat Kevin Hart and Angel!! They, and the  [... read more]whole entertainment crew, all seem to really love their jobs and help people come out of their shells to enjoy their vacation and have fun. Angel ran things beautifully, and I will miss them all terribly. I Will definitely be coming back !

FABULOUS RESORT

We had an amazing time at the Iberostar Hotel in Montego Bay Jamaica. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating , the food fantastic, the room very clean. I will stay here again on my next trip to Jamaica. I also love that they provide on site shuttle to where ever you want to go on the island for a reasonable price.

Nice beach and staff, but room ?

Grounds were gorious, beach clean and clear, lobby very nice, staff great, food ok ,but rooms smell musty ,tryed three diffrent ones all the same expect the ones facing the streets which I did not pay to view, so we stuck it with bitterness.

Good time

The cleanliness, food and service was outstanding. People were very friendly. The elevators and rooms need upgrading. I didn't get Wi-Fi in my room the whole day on the second last day. Pool is beautiful but too deep. Me and my family can't swim and my mother had a scary drowning incident in the poll and THANK God I was there. The life guards were sitting but no one seemed to notice. I wouldn't go back to this resort as we would need a pool with a shallow area.

A great time

The hotel was great. The food, service, cleanliness and variety of restaurants were amazing. Elevators and rooms need upgrading but we're clean. It is a beautiful resort. The pool water was one level and too deep for myself and my daughter. We don't know how to swim and we would have loved a shallow end. I had a near drowning experience in the pool in which no life guards were attentive too and thank God my daughter was there. I wouldn't go back to this resort as I would need a pool that has a  [... read more]shallow area.

Amazing Resort!

My sister and I came to this resort for a mini getaway and absolutely loved it! The staff was friendly, engaging, entertaining and fun! Our room was in great condition, was spacious, and had a view of both the pool and the ocean. On top of that, we can't stop talking about the food! No matter what time of day or meal, the food was flavourful, eclectic, and bountiful. The infinity pool gave an extra touch to an already amazing experience. Fantastic Family Resort

The Iberostar Beach Resort is a Fantastic Family Resort catering to Adults as well as children. We had great rooms on the 5th floor facing the pool area and fantastic ocean view. Food was amazing and was so sorry we could not take some home. Staff was amazing and very courteous to all the guests. This trip was a family vacation that brought 7 together for a fantastic 8 days. We may plan a future trip next year.

Had a really good time

Rooms were nice, cleaning staff very friendly, food very good. Entertainment good, especially the pool and beach crew. Angel and Chocolate had us laughing the whole week, and the bar staff kept our cups full. Overall a really nice experience.

Good resort.

Overall the resort was good. Clean and staff was very courteous. Rooms were ok. First time I see life guards on duty, that was nice to see. Entertainment was very good. Very energetic and fun. Food was fantastic. We were there with a wedding party. Lot's of fun. Only real issue was the fact that we had a couple of people had allergies (silliac) to certain foods and for the first couple of days it seemed like it was a bother to the staff. Loved It !!!

Staff were amazing - very polite and helpful. Food was excellent - lots of variety (except for my roomate - she is gluten free) this resort and other would need to have a gluten free section Rooms were cleaned and if we needed anything like extra blanket/water - it was provided in a timely manner Close to the airport. - nice feature as well

Mediocre resort

Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort - Although I advised them ahead of time of my serious gluten allergy it was really hit and miss. Most of the time the servers had no idea what gluten was. Some chefs were great and accommodated and others weren't interested. Are patio had a nice view but it was a solid stucco wall versus posts/railings which means there was no air circulation and we couldn't sit on it. When we asked to be moved to a room with a patio with posts they advised it was an upgrade  [... read more]and it would cost $40 per night yet others in our party got a room with a patio with posts and there was no extra charge. Rooms were very cold and we couldn't adjust the temperature.

Amazing Time

Everything about the trip was amazing , the food, the beach, the people, the staff. only issues was the rooms kept shutting off and heating up on us and then at 2 in the am the power would kick on and tv would start up and some of the lights too.

Good Hotel

Hotel is very clean Staff very friendly and helpful we did not want for anything ! The weather was perfect only problem the food was tooooo spicey so i spent 3 days in my room with tummy ache !Everything was spiced so i ate nuggets fries and pizza during the rest of my stay !I recommend lay offf the hot spices not everyone can tolerate it !, I probably will not return in the future to this hotel !,,
