Amazing Experience

RIU Mobay was amazing for a first timer; staff were friendly and very helpful...’Excursions were the best part of the trip but the overall experience was great also; if one is friendly you can easily meet nice, genuine people through the hotels entertainment. Food was good, service was good but some of the bartenders can be trained more on making the drinks appropriately

Jad amazing time great memories great resort loved the customer service only complaint would be the locals at the beach always hounding u to buy things you couldn't even walk the beach with out them bugging you

Great resort

We had a wonderful experience. We were moved from our initial room because we felt that what we paid for did not come up to expectations (ocean view) but were moved to a different room and were pleased with the new room. We were quite happy to stay there for the duration but a hot water supply pipe broke behind the wall and gushed hot water into the tub. I could not shut the supply off and called the reception stating our problem. Someone arrived soon and shut the hot water off to our room. We w [... read more]ere then upgraded tp an oceanview room and it was wonderful. The food was great as we have been accustomed to as we always stay at a RIU hotel. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. Entertainment staff worked very hard. Hats off to them. All in all we had a great time and would recommend this hotel in a minute. Great Job. Wonderful winter get away

RIU Hotel Montego Bay was an amazing resort! Everything was close; the buffets, the pool, the beach and the bar and entertainment was all so close each other. The grounds were well kept and clean and had an intimate feel! Great resort for families! The kids club was fabulous! A wide variety of fun activities for the children. Pools were clean and big with basketball and volleyball nets. Beach was clean and water activities were available (paddle boats, kayaks etc.) Resort is close to the airport and a quick drive to town to shop! I would highly recommend RIU Hotel Montego Bay & can’t wait to go back!!

Fantastic Vacation!

We were a group of 17 (9 adults and 8 kids aged 4-10). The Riu was a great choice for our group, and set us up near each other, which we had requested before travelling. The hotel had a perfect combination of fun activities and for the kids and adults alike. A short walk from the buffet to the pool to the beach made getting around the resort very convenient. The workers were always quick with a smile and the service and food were both excellent. Amazing stay!

I had a phenomenal time at the Riu Montego Bay. ALL the staff are so entertaining, kind and helpful. For someone that went alone, I felt safe, comfortable and was completely satisfied with my entire stay.

Had good time

Very neat grounds with lots of activities but the staff were not too nice like our experience in Mexico.Food was good.Overall was satisfactory but not the best.Our room was too small(probably because it was basic)compared to other places we have been

Amazing Resort and

Everything was amazing GR8 service and support staff weather was GR8 Sunwing was awesome. GR8 value for your money! What a superb vacation can't wait to go back and see all the best staff again!! Excellent Value for the Money

This resort is excellent value for your money. The resort is clean and well maintained. The pool area is large and plenty of lounge chairs are available. The beach is small but not over crowded. Our room had an amazing view overlooking the beach. The room itself was small but functional. The food was above average. The buffet had a large and varied selection for both breakfast and dinner. Fantastic Resort

We enjoyed everything about the resort. Food was great with lots of variety; lots of daily activities and nightly entertainment. Staff was friendly and service fantastic. Would definitely recommend Riu Montego Bay. This was our 2nd visit to this resort. Had a fabulous time.

Riu paradise away from home

Grounds were wonderfully kept by hard working staff. Super friendly.. and clean.. food was great.. lots of variety. Spent most of our time with chop chop at the Jamaican jerk shack. Rum is great. Beds are horrible... But rest of stay made up for it..

Our Home Away from Home!

First Impression: Efficient, clean, very children oriented. family oriented. First Food Experience: Overwhelmingly impressive, service so friendly and professional. Entertainment from day to night, had something for all ages and tastes! well done all! First Look around the grounds: night time, so limited to landscaped lighting, but at dawn, I went for a walk along the beach, and saw clean up crews already at work preparing for the busy rush of guests to come down and enjoy the space. The poo [... read more]l and the pool side amenities were so much more than I could imagine from the pictures and videos from the booking info. As we stayed on in the week, a few glitches with our room (1001) were discovered and handled both with maintenance, security, and cleaning staff to the best of their abilities, with an aged building, and high humid weather conditions against us. finally, for health reason I was forced to move to another room, that was clearly an up graded room, with more air circulation, as it was on the second floor 0114. Thank you to all staff and management, for allowing our family such a glorious experience, and to make sweet memories. Will be recommending whole heartingly to all family and friends!

Great Resort

Overall hard working people who keep the grounds clean. The food was Good. The house keeping was Great, they went beyond my expectations! The excursions were fantastic, we have never seen the ocean with that color blue! Overall it was a great experience, I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

Amazing trip

The hotel was great. Everything was close by so you didn't have to walk far. The buffet was great. Lots of options. The dining staff were great especially Superman and the entertainment staff were very talented and great with kids. Styles was fantastic with my kids. The front desk was also very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful trip.

Nice resort

Cleaning at the hotel was perfect.. Really nice and friendly staff Really good food but.. Beach shore is to small and water full of seaweeds .,......................................................

Awesome Resort

The resort was well maintained and very clean. Most likely due to the detail oriented staff which were always there to take care of the small details. The entertainment staff was very friendly and always available to answer any questions or concerns.

Amazing resort!

Beautiful resort, very clean. Great food. Amazing staff!!!!! Great pool lots of loungers. Only negative about the resort is the beach. Its small and water is not clear. Murky at times and bottom is quite slimy. I believe this is because the beach is man-made. So if you are a beach person then this resort is not for you

Second visit as good as the first

This is a great family resort. It has been 8 years since our last visit and there are some expected signs of wear (dated rooms, tipsy/worn chairs at lunch/steak restaurant). The good far outweigh the dated. In comparison to other resorts and countries I've been to, Riu Montego Bay has the best staff, most beautiful pool area, great entertainment and variety, and by far the best food. Since our last trip they have stopped doing drink service around the pool but the pool bar service is quick. We d [... read more]idn't have to wait long to be served at any of the resort bars.

Great Resort

The hotel location and facilities were as good as any we have been to - the entertainment and the skill of the entertainers was unreal. Their dancing and good nature was very enjoyable. We enjoyed the trips organized off the resort that were well run and the chance to see the culture and the amazing beauty of Jamaica. We would love to return to there at some point for another vacation. The location was a bonus with little travel to the airport etc.

Outstanding experience and amazing resort

The grounds were beautiful and laid out nicely. Staff was all extremely friendly. Food was excellent, especially the jerk chicken hut on the beach that served every day. Many activities during the day and night made the experience never have a dull moment.
