Beautiful resort!

This resort had all of the things you want from a luxury resort from the adults only beach to the infinity bar it ticked all the boxes and was amazing for our vacation! I would definitely go back as soon as possible.

Jamaica Fun in the sun

When we arrived, we were treated with kindness and courtesy. Easy check in and we’re given a beautiful ocean view room. The staff were friendly all week. The food was great and drinks were amazing. Pools were very clean and jerk chicken was addictive! Favourite restaurant was Bogali - Indian restaurant. Food was terrific in fact went to this one twice!

Average Resort

Resort is nice but nothing special. Average stay, older property but well maintained. Rooms were the most modern part of the resort. Nice and spacious, clean. Food was great. Beaches were okay - a bit small and not the clearest waters. Our main disappointment was the staff. We met a few great people, however overall we were not impressed. Majority of the staff were rude and avoided looking at you when you needed something. Most were very slow and looked miserable. Not the best first impressi [... read more]on of Jamaica. I’d save my money and go back to Mexico where all staff are hard working and go over and above to ensure you have a memorable experience.

Amazing Resort and Wedding

This is our third visit to this resort. We were married on March 20, 2019. They wedding team is absolutely amazing and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The restaurants were all fantastic and service is outstanding. A huge shout out to the following people who made our week special...Chrisan our wedding consultant is phenomenal at her job. Our shuttle driver Rayjay...called our room on a daily basis to see what time we needed to be picked up. Karlene at the Poseidon restaurant does  [... read more]a fantastic job managing the staff and we seen her pitching in to wait on tables when busy and great with all the customers. Oceaia and Claudia are fantastic and attentive servers at Poseidon. The lagoon buffet in the morning is great service and the Sports bar is awesome. All the food we had was fantastic at all the restaurants and service by all was always great.

Outstanding Resort

The Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton is beautiful! The grounds are always well kept, the service and staff are so friendly, never had any issues with our room, service or stay... top notch! The beaches were always cleaned and raked each morning and it was always easy to find a chair or some shade each day.

Fabulous time in Jamaïca

We've just returned from an absolutely perfect vacation at the beautiful Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton. We were impressed with how beautiful this all inclusive resort actually is. Accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and courteous. The buffets and à la carte restaurants did not disappoint. We chose a Palladium resort because they cater to food allergies (peanuts and chick peas, in our case). When checking in, they gave us cards to show the waiters. After we'd  [... read more]be seated, the chef would take the time to meet with us and let us know what was safe or not on his menu. He would also make sure that the meal would be prepared without risk of cross contamination. They made everything seem easy. Highly recommended!

Simply Incredible

My fiancé and I had an amazing time staying at the Lady Hamilton. The views were breathtaking, the food was great and the staff was extremely friendly. We now plan on having our wedding at the resort!

Awesome Resort, So beautiful

We recently stayed at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort in Montego Bay Jamaica and it was absolutely beautiful. We are a family of 5 and the room was very spacious and clean. The resort was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The kids had a great time at the pool and waterpark area. We never had an issue with getting chairs at the beach or pool area which was fantastic. The beach was stunning. The food was amazing and a very good selection at the buffets. Beautiful resort

The resort is lovely! It is spred out with beautiful landscaping, covered walkways and great pools. The food was good, the service was great and the rooms were big, clean and quite nice. This was my second time there, just as nice as ten years ago.

Great Resort

Beautiful well kept grounds. Lots of choice for dinner - good food Rooms are large and clean, only complaint about the room was originally had a room that faced the parking lot. I booked well in advance to get a room with a better view. I went to the front desk the next morning and was told they "might" be able to find me another room. Beautiful Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at this Resort. Beautiful Resort, grounds are Immaculate the beaches are beautiful and relaxing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The buffets had lots and lots of choices and great food. Special thank you to Chantay for the wonderful service you provided us at the buffet as well as Eugenie for the amazing crepes. Special thank you to Rodney at the adult pool bar this gentleman goes above and beyond asking you specifically how you like your drinks which was a great surprise. To our wonderful maid Paula thank you so very much for looking after us and our room you didn't absolutely spectacular job. Also a special thank you goes to the front desk staff you were most helpful in helping us adjust to the first time at this Resort and provided great customer service. However, there's a few small things that I found a bit disconcerting there is not enough hand sanitizer stations in the resort and two in the buffet area the placemats are not washed down or very rarely did I see anybody wipe them down I personally find this kind of gross as people are laying their utensils excetera that they've used and spent food falls onto the placemats and they're just not cleaned well

30th Anniversary Celebration

Had a fantastic time celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary with our two adult sons (21 & 24). We picked this resort for the size and amount of activities. We weren't disappointed: did water aerobics in the ocean with Rolando (super instructor and engaging), tried Archery for the first time with Power Man (excellent teacher, very patient), fun time playing pool and Foosball at the Sports Bar, also enjoyed kayaking, stand up paddle board and snorkeling (note: $30 usd deposit required for snorke [... read more]ling - fully refunded upon return of equipment). All restaurants were great but thoroughly enjoyed Chef Ching Ching for teppanyaki. We couldn't stop laughing. He got everyone involved and excited for dinner. If you would like to try it, this is the only meal that requires a 2 day reservation. Also, FYI, the Sports Bar is open 22hrs a day in case you need a late night snack. Every night there was new evening entertainment at both the theatre and the Infinity bar. We really enjoyed the Michael Jackson show and had a blast at karaoke. The pools and beaches were very clean, many Palapas for shade and always available seating. Daily activities at the pool and beaches: yoga, dance lessons, bar-tending lessons and beach volleyball. Note: You receive a towel card when you check in, exchange them for towels at the various towel huts. You can exchange those towels for new towels whenever. We had two rooms in building 26. They were both well appointed, well stocked and very clean. Note: as this building is beside the theatre and pool, you heard the Infinity bar entertainment until midnight. So, if you would prefer a quieter stay, ask for a building further away. However, if you like to be close to everything, this is the perfect building. We also did a family photo shoot with Orane. He was very professional and had a great eye for detail. Our photos were fantastic, couldn't ask for better. Note: After your photo shoot and once you pay, you receive your photos that day! This should also be booked 2 days in advance in case of weather. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation, all the staff were exceptional (always smiling, helpful and provided excellent service). Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone.

Overall Great!

Resort Grounds: this resort is a bit older but has been renovated and is very well kept. Pool is huge and a nice kids water park Rooms: nicely updated, we had a one bdrm suite Service: overall good. However I asked for a crib before travelling there. It was not in the room upon arrival and had to wait till 10pm for a crib and bedding for the pull out for our kids. This was unacceptable after a long travel day with small children that need to sleep

Nice Resort!

The resort is lovely , but very big. The beach is manmade on the poolside and not for for swimming. If you walk around the side of the lady Hamilton , you will find a much better beach with more amenities. Service was great, lots of people serving the bar area. I would have preferred to see more lunch type foods around the pool.

Fantastic time

My husband and I just returned from this resort and had an amazing time. The grounds were kept immaculate. The pool was the best part! It was so large and clean. It never felt crowded. We loved the food and all the staff were amazing. We would definately return!

Beautiful large resort

Hotel was beautiful and grand. Grounds were very well maintained and the shuttle was nice as it is a very big resort. Rooms were great size, modern and comfortable. Nice living space and balcony and bathroom was great size. Mini bar was nice to have but only served beer and soft drinks wish there was liquor. The spa was a great experience and a nice quiet spot to relax using the water therapies. Food was good especially the beef patties and mozzarella sticks. Mexican restaurants was a disappointment and the Japanese was a fun experience and good food Service from all employees was great !! Not to happy about the small man made beach but the water was calm and relaxing. Pool is the largest pool in Jamaica fun for those that enjoy pools

Fantastic Vacation

Pros- The grounds are clean, staff is friendly, food was great and there were many restaurants to choose from. Loved the small beaches and lush vegetation surrounding the grounds. Our room was large and modern. Cons- The check-in took awhile. The grounds are large, but I enjoyed walking.

Perfect Wedding

We chose this resort for our wedding in April without ever having visited and we couldn't have been happier with our choice!!! We loved everything about our experience at GPLH. The food, beaches, rooms, grounds and people were amazing. Our wedding day went perfectly as well...beautiful location, great spa service, wonderful meal and amazing photos. Thanks to our wedding coordinator Thorna-Ann for making everything perfect.

Beautiful resort.

We went here for a wedding and love this resort. This is a large resort but very easy to navigate. The grounds, buildings, etc. are beautiful and very well maintained. The gazebo used for the actual service overlooked the ocean and was breathtaking. The rooms are large with a separate bathroom that my husband and I could use at the same time to get ready. Coffee pot did not work but was replaced immediately when reported. Room cleaned daily. Food was excellent with a great variety at [... read more] the buffet restaurants. Loved the Mexican restaurant. Did find service a little slow. At the Italian restaurant left after waiting over an hour and half for our food. Other wedding party members went another night and service was good. Was not happy with the check in as we waited well beyond the 3:00 pm time frame. Did not end up in the same building as the rest of the wedding party but given the option if we wanted to wait longer. Finally given a room around 5:30 and we were happy with the location. Stayed in building 27, room 2704. Loved having access to 3 different beaches. Did not have enough chairs at one time but staff provided the additional chairs needed. The pool area was beautiful with lots of chairs. I only went to one show however my husband went to several and enjoyed all. They did have an elevator at the main lobby which gave you access to the lower level and ramps to access the beach area. It was a hit and miss with staff but overall friendly. Hats off to Daniel Rickette and Kemar Lakeman for aerobics and games and Sashane Williams who was always a delight at the infinity bar ad the nightly show. On our list of resorts to return to but earlier in the season as April was quite humid.

BEAUTIFUL RESORT

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well maintained, beaches are clean and the rooms are well appointed. The food is good but not great. Although there is a large variety in the Buffets and Specialty restaurants they don't change up the food enough. It is also usually lukewarm not hot. But the food is certainly on par with any other luxury resort in the Caribbean. Only suggestion is if you take a ocean villa ensure that your request a room facing away from the Main Pool if you wa [... read more]nt quiet at night. Most concerts or events are held at the pool bar area and the sound carries throughout the complex till late at night. If you want to go to bed earlier say 9 or 10 p.m. try and get a room facing to the west and not the north. Overall I would highly recommend this resort.
