Krystal Beach: resort was just ok

At check in we waited over an hour in the lobby without even being offered a drink of water because the could not find our reservation. We had mold running across the walls in our bathroom, and a very strong odor. Also the hot tub was empty and out of order the entire week. This was not a 3.5 - 4 star hotel.

Park Royal Acapulco: A Very Limited Resort

While the weather is absolutely fabulous in Acapulco, The Park Royal proved to be somewhat disappointing. A very clean resort but very tight for space. Food was lacking, not even to the standard we got in Cuba ( No Bacon for breakfast and the selection at the buffet was the same for every meal, every day ). The private beach is exactly that. Don't expect to for a walk. There were no shows in the evening and very few activities during the day. We were hoping to use the fitness center but they wan [... read more]ted 50 pesos every time we entered. Our room for the 3 of us was extremely small and had no fridge, coffee maker, or bar. In town the exchange rate for $1 CDN to pesos was 1:13 but the resort only offers 1:10. Three different sites each gave this resort a different star rating ( 3.5, 4 & 4.5 ) but in all honesty I would only rate this resort at a 2.5 ( 3 at best ). We will definitely go back to Acapulco but not to this resort.

Park Royal Acapulco: Amazing resort !!!

The ground of the hotel was awsome. Beautiful view from each part of the resort. Room - very clean, good variety of food, coffee not so good, personnel nice, and helpful, beach very clean, nice with excellent view on the Bay of Acapulco but very short not for walking. Great selection of trips. I would go there again :)
