One of the most beautiful beach in the world, well kept grounds, Food is fair, staff is very helpfully and happy to be there. The night shows are exceptionally talented.I also enjoyed the kids show, this lady realy does a tremendous job with kids!

Enjoyed it!

We were there in February for Valentines Day. The grounds are well kept and friendly staff. The food was good. We had a chance to experience their Cuban Day where they serve lunch close to the pool. There was music and dancing and the food was amazing. The rooms were clean and again the staff was great. The entertainment is where improvement is needed. In the past we had a variety of singers on different nights but this year we had the same ones . They are ok but more variety would be appre [... read more]ciated. The beach is amazing with lots of places for shade if needed. Chairs were always available. Overall we had a great time and we will be returning for sure.

Food

Hotel was a bit disappointing....the food I was not impressed with at all, every day it seemed the buffet was cold ....hot table wise,service again disappointing....all n all , not worth the money paid

Relaxing getaway

Just got back from an 11 day holiday at this resort on Feb 13,2019. Went there because of the positive reviews and was hopeful that it was a wise pick. Well must say that it was indeed a great place to stay. Beach is amazing and resort is just the right size. Food was repetitive but good each day. We stayed in the bungalows in block 22 and that was the right choice for s few extra dollars. Comfortable beds and alway nice hot water and privacy as well. Roberto at the beach bar was always friendly and gave a handshake everyday. Honestly for the value it was perfect, albeit the resort was a bit rough in places (such as concrete walkways) but everything else was fine and we really enjoyed this place. Built in 2001, so if your expecting perfection, go to a new resort but if you want value, a great beach and relaxation ... just book this resort and you won’t be disappointed. It exceeded our expectations in many ways and nothing to say in the negative.

Good vacation even with some of the minor problems

The beach was amazing, windy, blue chairs very dated, white chairs looked new. Spent very little time around the pool and did not swim in it, brand new chairs there. Rooms were dated but clean, toilet ran. The maid service was not up to par, our towels may have been changed once in our 7 days and sheets never. 1st day we returned from the beach at suppertime and no maid even came to make up our room. The next day we had to ask a few times, wasn't done until after 4 pm. Buffet was good, but food [... read more] is repetitive, staff were attentive especially in the mornings and lunch, not too busy either. A la cartes were really good, Gourmet and Cuban my favorite and excellent service. Was not impressed with the service at the lobby bar. I always tip but not when they ignore you, felt that way most times there.We noticed some of the Cubans receiving premium alcohol that had not upgraded to the premium, but when we asked were told it was not for us. The service and food in the snack bar was good, very busy. Bar tender was good there. We did enjoy ourselves at this resort and were stuffed after every meal, We have been to Cuba several times over the past 4 years and love this country. We will be back, but probably not to this one unless the price is really good. This is the 2nd Iberostar we have been to in the past 6 months and thought they offered a little more. I would rate this resort as a 3 - 3.5.

Good 3.5 star resort

Fantastic beach windy, rooms dated towels and sheets changed maybe once don,t get room near pool very noisy all night from 24 hour snack bar bldg. 16 especially. alacartes surprisingly good gourmet and Cuban are the best, Italian so so, Bar service at main lounge so so some of the bartenders look right through as if you don,t even exist didn't seem to mind giving their cuban friends premium drinks even if they didn't have a premium bracelet seen more than one occasion wasn't the only one who not [... read more]iced so I tipped accordingly some were decent buffet was okay food good but very repetitive overall a clean 3.5 star resort

Great value

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Nice rooms (rain shower head and good patio door locking system). Food was good - good selection of salad bar items, carving station at dinner, pasta bar, stir fry at dinner... Snacks were somewhat limited in choice between meals but pizza was tasty. Lobby area nice (would prefer non-smoking area but that's hard to come by in Cuba lol). Cigar lounge was enjoyable with Freddie the bartender looking after us well and a fun band. Lots of palapas at beach, less shade options at the pool. Great staff overall.

Excellent Resort

Iberostar Mojito is an excellent resort in many ways. The beach is second to none,the staff friendly and the tourists who frequent this resort seem to enjoy themselves more than the 35 other resorts we have stayed in. The nightly entertainment in the lobby is varied and really exceptional. We enjoyed many dances to the different musicians who entertained everyone. The staff who ran the evening children show were very impressive and the children and their parents were fun to watch. The staff work hard to organize that event. If you like to meet good people this is the resort for you. Enjoy.

Cheap family vacation

Check in was efficient and although we did not get help with bags we managed. Upper floors are all stairs so anyone with mobility issues should get ground floor. Our Superior room in 2220 was dark and filled with ants so we moved to standard room in building 21. Much better clean and bright but no balcony. Adult pool is close to Building 21 and the gym, tennis courts are also close to Building 21. Buffet food was much the same each day. Omelette station for breakfast and meat grilling in eve [... read more]ning were our go tos. As well as pasta bar. Salad bar lacked greens and many premade salads were not to my liking. I am not a picky eater but it was hard to make a salad to enjoy. Suspected drinks watered down as hubby drinks whisky on ice and had only one day he felt like he was affected. mixes are not of great quality so hard to get nice cocktails. Wine was a Spanish poor quality so I bought wine in buffet for 5CUC. White Russian was a good drink. Mojito was not good. No fresh limes. Pool and beach areas had many chairs nor need to save/ Beach quite a walk from main resort area. No A La carte reservations available during our stay so sadly cannot comment.

What I expected for Cuba vacation

Check in was efficient but not baggage assistance available right away so we took our own. No elevators so if you have a third floor room heavy luggage could be problem with lots of stairs. Room was spacious and clean. Mini fridge in room and hairdryer but no coffee makers and no irons in room. No patios but windows open wide to bring fresh breezes in if you like this. Safe was easy to set and use. Water was mostly hot but depending upon time of day you might run out quickly. no facial tissues i [... read more]n rooms. no pens or paper. Pools were not too busy never needed to save chairs and there was an adult pool for a quieter lounge. Pool bar and snacks 24 hrs consisted of pizza, fries and grilled cheese made to order. buffet was the same most days. greens on salad bar not common. many pickled items and premade salads catering to European clientele.I did not enjoy most of ths and I am not a picky eater by any means. Drinks were poor quality. Mixes not up to my standards. No fresh limes. mojitos were lacking minty flavour like the mint was not fresh. wine was Spanish and not very palatable but you can buy a Chilean wine in Buffet for 5CUC so I did this and was happy. A la Carte was unavailable for the four in our family during our stay so cannot comment. Overall would give this resort a 3/5 for sun, sand and expectations for cheap price.

My home away from home!

The Mojito is a small resort filled with wonderful staff! If you are looking for 5 star accommodations and food - the Mojito is NOT for you! If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, super friendly and helpful people, clean basic rooms and a variety of tasty basic food....the Iberostar Mojito is for you! Wonderful resort, wonderful staff!

Beautiful pool areas and beach. Entertainment each night was fabulous. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Very attractive resort. Close to airport. Since hurricane in 2017 dining/restaurant choices are limited. The Malicon restaurant had wonderful food and service.

Awesome staff

There where 11 of us in total all arriving and leaving on different days. The staff are so amazing always smiling and making everyone feel welcome. The rooms a commen areas where clean. Food was ok loved the alacarts, we never went hungry. Different choices for drinks, Freddy was great at the cigar bar and he also new so much history about the resort. Pool area and beach where clean and tidy. Great place 👏

Another great stay

I have stayed at this resort numerous times and this time was great again... There were a couple problems... Cigar bar still not opened... Al LA care at capacity every night... Power outage in Cayo Coco fir day and half... But overall great time

Great staff

The hotel was very clean, hotel staff arranges your bed spread differently for every day of your stay! WiFi is only available in the lobby and you have to pay 1 peso or 1.25 american hourly. I would revisit this resort

Exelent resort for full relaxation

I think this resort is exelent for recharging mental energy for people who must sosialise every day with huge amount of people, customers etc. Exelnt nature friendly personal and exelent service will satisfie you.For people who would like to discover something around there are interesting adventures.

Overall Great Stay at Mojito! Would Stay Again!

Food: This is my third time at a Cuba all inclusive and Mojito has the best food yet! Of course I recommend that the earlier you arrive for each buffet meal the better. Breakfast had an egg station, lunch and dinner had meat stations and a really delicious pasta station where they make/cook it to your preference in front of you! (Make sure to bring a tip if you take advantage!) Snack bar was open every day an hour later than advertised but the pizza and fries were awesome. Unfortunately they had no champagne throughout our stay but we enjoyed the bars thoroughly! Rooms: We were unexpectedly upgraded to one of the "22" rooms upon arrival and it was perfect. Not an awesome view (because of the tornado), but the porch was spacious, the beds were pretty soft and the room was quite clean with barely any bugs! (the occasional harmless ant or spider) Grounds/Facilities: Really impressive since the hurricane was only a year ago! Pool is really beautiful and clean, they also had a nice disco, gym, cigar shop, gift shop and beach bar. Staff: Most staff were absolutely awesome, the best service i've gotten in Cuba so far! Service in the buffet, lobby and beach bars, and a-la-cartes was excellent. Service at the pool snack bar was confusing and sometimes not great. Initially I attempted to order up at the counter but was told to go back and wait at a table for a server to take my order. I sat and waited for about half an hour, so I went back to the counter to ask about it and was told my order was already put in! Obviously not as I waited another twenty minutes for it to be brought. Other than that particular instance I found that service is much slower during busy times like lunch (awesome at night!), there seems to be a couple staff working there that have a bit of an off putting attitude. Beach: Beautiful, long and white. Tons of palapas, warm shallow turquoise ocean. Absolutely gorgeous. Other: Mojito is super close to the airport so we were the first stop on the bus route. Quick check in and greeted by cocktails, shuttle to room. Didn't go to any shows but passed by a really impressive dance performance in the lobby one night. Overall the most "not sick" i've ever felt in Cuba which is notable! Be sure to bring enough cash for the week as there are no ATMs at the hotel (bank at the market 5mins walk away, they also have ceasers there!), they can exchange it for you at the front desk. Please tip! These lovely people definitely need that 1CUP a lot more that you do! Unfortunately during our stay we witnessed quite a few Europeans be very curt and blatantly rude with the staff, never tipping! It was all very upsetting to watch.

Iberostar Mojito Cayo Coco Cuba

we were there in January 2018...right after the devastating hurricane every day, the workers were replanting gardens, clearing debris, and refurbishing rooms compared to other hotels on the beach, the work that had already been completed was mind boggling the restaurants hadn`t all been rebuilt, nor the cigar lounge the staff was great, as Cubans are the food was good and varied the pools (2) were refreshing the entertainment was good there was always someone performing in the lobby ever [... read more]y night

Good resort

We had a nice time in this hotel, it has a wonderful beach, the room are cleaned every day very well, service is good, they reply fast to all inquiries, I would come back here again, highly recommend!

Okay Resort

The hotel is okay and the beach is too far but very nice and didnt like the music playing on the beach all the time The staff was very friendly and the mosguitos or whatever small flies attacked all of us The food was okay nothing special and there is nothing to see on this island
