Grand Palladium Vallarta: Beautiful Resort

This was our second stay at this resort. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained and clean. We spent the majority of our time at the adults only pool which is an infinity pool with an incredible view of the ocean. The main pool has all types of fun things for kids to splash around in, as well there is a handy snack bar and pool bar. The food is one of the reasons we made a return visit. If you choose this resort, I highly recommend a relaxing massage at the spa.

TRS Turquesa: Great Adult Retreat

We are seasoned travelers to this resort and we find it suits our tastes for a vacation, nice swim up room, lovely beach to walk on and it gives total relaxation. Upon arrival at your room you are greeted by a Butler who gives you a rundown of things you need to know. Our Butler Service was outstanding - hats off to Victor who was pleasant and made every effort to make our stay one to remember. Excellent attention to detail and made a point to show interest . The other Butler (didn't get her name) was just as good as well. Very attentive The grounds of this resort are immaculate - lovely to walk around and enjoy the flowering bushes - just the total ambience gives you a lift for total relaxation Our room was well kept, very clean and well maintained and the housekeeping staff was very good as well as the night staff for turn downs. We had ample towels. No complaints. The fridge was stocked every day with want we requested There are all types of activities that are posted each day.......They have a Casino which is fun that we went to almost every night after dinner. We met some great people and had lots of fun. In the Swim-Up Pool area - there is bar that will serve you all types of liquor and specialty drinks - so convenient Plus they have introduced a "Food Truck" that features hamburgers and hot dogs - nice touch if you are not wanting to go to the Helios or Capricho or the Grill for lunch - it was a great gathering place to chat with other vacationers TRS has 5 restaurants on the property, but you can also reserve at the other resorts as well. Capricho - we tend to have breakfast and lunch here - it is buffet style but a huge variety of food for everyone's tastes - lovely breads, omelets, fruits and cheese, cold meats, lovely desserts etc. Testrizone - this is a new one for us and was during the evening hours where the menu was varied - Pizzas - quite good, Pasta - Ravioli was excellent and the grouper was outstanding La Boehem (French) - has been updated in decor which was nice and the food choices were very good depending on what is your preference Kuscko - Asian - if you like sushi - one of the best we have eaten- their 'starts" & appetizers were tasty Helios - we went for dinner - lovely atmosphere by the beach and the food was good especially the soup The other restaurants - Bamboo - it was really crowded and busy when we went - but the Salad bar was well presented and tasty - the staff we were not impressed with or the main course El Eldorao - a total disappointment - the salad bar is sub par - this restaurant is old and very tired - it definitely needs to be revamped and upgraded in decor and also their menu - we were not impressed at all but my husband said the steak was good Our recommendation is that you leave tips for the waiters, cleaning staff, butler and bartenders - they really appreciate the gesture and have a tendency to remember you and you will note the difference of service. It is nice to see their smiles of "thank you" from them As mentioned before, we have been here many times, and have seen changes for the good and some are questionable. Having said that, we will be returning. We had some hiccups, any resort has them, nothing is perfect. But was nice that they were resolved quickly.

TRS Coral: The best !

The hotel was amazing we got engaged on a sunset tour and they decorated our room and everything. Our butlers were also amazing (viney and Ed) housekeeping was also great they would do anything you asked extra towels, more chips anything. If you’re getting drinks by the pool Fernando was GREAT he’s quick and he knows what you want even if you don’t. I don’t really have one bad thing to say except the food was not amazing everywhere but there was always something and the drinks were great:)

TRS Turquesa: TRS Turquesa Did Not Disappoint

Great food, service and staff. Enjoyed the swim up Jr suite. Quiet area. Beach is stunning. Kept clean. Meals at Helios: priceless with that ocean view. Carts for the asking although I managed walking too. Surprise birthday cake and room decorated.

TRS Turquesa: Quiet Adults Only Resort

Loved the quality of the food and top shelf liquor available. Attention to detail is everything here, we stayed in a swim up room in 57 building at the back of the resort and enjoyed having our own private patio. Our group felt the Chic Caberet was definitely not worth the price and do not recommend it. The restaurants were fantastic and the selection at the buffet is amazing. TRS Yucatan: Third time is the charm

I have been here twice before. I have also been to many other resorts and you won't find the service better anywhere else, it's 5 star all the time, from everyone there. If you are into a big beautiful beach, you will not care for this resort. They have been struggling with the sargassum and the beach is much smaller than it was in the early 2000s after a hurricane changed it. The food at the TRS is excellent. TRS Coral: 2nd time a charm!

First time we return to a hotel- the TRS is a beautiful hotel, architecturally, with great design elements, fantastic food and attentive staff. The spa and gym were also fantastic. Loved our experience and would be pleased to return.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: March break trip!

The Hotel was a nice surprise! We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon after a seamless bus ride in an air conditioned bus. My daughter was so excited when she saw the grandeur of the place. We were greeted with warm and friendly staff and excellent service to get us to our beautiful suite. For our first trip to the Caribbean together, this was exactly what we needed. Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Had a good vacat

Just back from the grand palladium in Puerto Vallarta! We had a great vacation,we spent the majority of our time at the main pool as the ocean was too cold for us. We were okay with that as our bartender was amazing! However, my husband reacted to the chlorine or chemicals in pool, and has quite the nasty rash! The food was okay, but it would be nice if they did different themes etc ! The food at the Portofino (a la carte) restaurant was amazing! Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Fabulous Resort

We recently had a 10 day stay at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton resort. The staff were all very helpful and were more than willing to accommodate any of our needs. Joseph Myrie met us on our arrival and when we reached out to him to make all our ala carte dinner reservations, he looked after the reservations and sent me the confirmations. Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Simply Amazing

We arrived in the evening of February 19, and we're greated smiles and lots of help with our luggage. Our check in went smooth with no problems on the language side. We were taken to our room which was not far from the front lobby, which made us a little uneasy as we thought it could a little noisy, but our fears were eliminated when we closed the door. Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Not my favourite

I have been to at least ten resorts in Punta Cana. This was my least favourite. It was large and confusing to get your bearings. The beach was narrowing than other resort, a long walk from our room and it was hard to get chairs. The food was good. The white wine was awful. The mixed drinks were alcohol mixed with slush as opposed to a blender drink. Staff mostly couldn’t speak any English. I did not like the deep jetted tub. It would be very difficult for an older person to climb into, [... read more] even with the box set beside it. Also wasn’t thrilled that the wall between the bathroom and bedroom was frosted glass. Two girls sharing room Could see sillouite through glass and made room bright with light through glass. Now what really upset us. We returned to our room one evening to find a roach on our wall. We had very high ceilings and the roach was about 15 feet up. We called the front desk, which took many tries, and they said someone would be right there. As they didn’t show up, we wanted to go to bed and the bug was now over one of our beds, we called again and we promised they would be right there. No one ever showed up. We finally threw shoes and face clothes at it, while standing on our bed. After numerous tries we managed to knock it down and kill it. We reported it to the front desk in person the next morning and got. Feeble sorry. One our last night, Shelley got very I’ll. She had chills, nausea, diarrhea, muscle twitching and a swollen tongue. She is 60 years old with a history of a heart attack and kidney issues. The girls walked to the main desk and asked for medical help. They were told somebody would we right there. In the interim we tried to cool her down and I contacted my nurse practitioner daughter who suggested we get medical assistance. We waited up for a couple of hours and no one ever showed up!!!!!!!!! This was unacceptable!!

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Goods and bads about Grand Palladium

Great food, beautiful weather, friendly staff..these were the good things Phone didn’t work, every shower we had flooded the bathroom floor Too dark, lamp didn’t work, setup of room didn’t provide enough light to even get dressed. We had to open the drapes while passerbys could see right in. Maid didn’t show up a few days, no water and coffee until we got it ourselves. Our first room had such a musty foul smell we had to change rooms. Sister got food poisoning, tried to get a Doctor, no one  [... read more]ever showed up. Some rooms lacked air until it was rendered. All in all rooms were disappointing and front desk didn’t come through in many areas.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Very disappointing

The hotel was fine, except for a large bug in our room which no one came to help us with, even though we requested help. The beach was disappointing as it had quite a decline to get down to the beach. Also, my sister Shelley got very sick with either food poisoning or heatstroke. We called the air canada rep for help to get a doctor as it was 10:30 at night and she didn't answer. We went to the front desk and requested a doctor and even though he said someone would come, no one came the entire n [... read more]ight. We were very afraid for her health. I will not return to that resort again. The food was okay.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Too many problems

I can live with a few issues which you can get anywhere you go. This time I got food poisoning the day before we left. I was travelling with my sisters and they called the front desk to ask for a doctor. No doctor ever came and no one even bothered to follow up, not even a phone call. I had to spend the day in airports extremely sick, laying down on the floor in the Punta Cana airport. The front desk was nonresponsive on any call, from getting bugs from the vaulted ceiling to needing bottle [... read more]s of water, which neither ever came.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Excellent vacation

Signature section well worth the small extra cost. Great beaches and pools. Able to snorkel right off the beach. Food options - good variety and restaurants. Entertainment at night wasn’t great. Overall great value and great resort.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Fantastic Resort

The Grand Palladium Punta Cana was a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. There was not one negative thing I could say about the entire experience. A special shout out to Edwin and Constantino at the sports facility that made our Pickleball experience very rewarding. We hope to return again next year. Muchas Gracais!

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: GREAT RESORT

This place is well kept, only 30 minutes from airport. Lush grounds, again well maintained. Food is great, and restaurants are very good. Great steakhouse. Service from all staff wonderful and try to meet all your requests. Hope to go back again to this place.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Just Average

Compared to the 2 other resorts we have stayed at in the Caribbean, Grand Palladium Punta Cana was just ok. The grounds and pools were very nice, and the beach was beautiful. The rooms were clean and housekeeping replenished everything daily, but the were quite dated, with a very awkward tub/shower combo. It was hard to get good service at the buffets - we were always waiting for place settings, water, coffee, drinks... Food was generally lukewarm, but tasted fine. The a la cartes were hit and m [... read more]iss. We had 3 good experiences, and 3 not so good. I would probably try another resort over returning to this one.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Very nice resort

Grounds were pretty cool. Lots of wildlife. Secret pool was awesome. Marcelino was the best bartender at the Secret Pool Bar. Food was okay. Breakfast was the best, especially at the Grand Azul. Sports Bar food was okay but the service could be improved. Room was a little dated but we don't go for just the room. If we had an issue it was dealt with. Beach wasn't as good as other resorts we've been to and not enough loungers.
