Amazing Resort!!!

This hotel is beautiful! There are a few things they have to fix but it’s brand new so it’s expected to run into some issues. Overall everything was wonderful? the sports bar bartender Chino made amazing Spanish coffee. The pool attentants are amazing. The whole staff goes out of their way to try and please you. The pool, lobby, rooms and the beach is one of the best I’ve seen in Cuba. We will definitely be going back?

Best Beach Ever

Rooms are very spacious. Our room overlooked the beautiful landscaped property that included the large pool and view of the ocean. Buffet had ample supply of food and 6 out of 8 days we had fresh eggs for breakfast. Twice during our stay we had roasted pig (great). Cappacinos in the lobby were super. Only negatives; shortage of small (500ml) water bottles BUT you could always get 're-fillable' drinking water at the lobby bar. Your room refrigerator was NOT stocked daily with either beer or water [... read more]. Ours was stocked once during our 8 day stay. Plenty of beer and water at all bars. Cleanliness of rooms need to improve in order to attain a 4 star plus status. Electrical convertors not necessary since most outlets were 110 plus they had USB outlets in your room. Fantastic beach and no shortage of loungers. Best animation team ever especially Jimmy, Kelly and Ray who ALL worked their butts off to help you enjoy your vacation. I loved the 10.00 am beach stretching class. All staff that we encountered were amazing.

New Resort

The hotel is brand new so of course it was perfect. Beautifully decorated, lovely walk in shower etc. Lots of choices on the buffet, never went hungry. My only complaint would be the bottled water. We were supposed to be given two bottles per day but that stopped on our fourth day and we weren't given anymore. Water is a must at these places. For me that was not acceptable. Everything else was perfect. It's the place to go if you want to relax, not a party spot.

Amazing beach and staff

We stayed at the newly opened Sanctuary White Sands Resort in Cayo Cruz, Cuba (March 2024). This resort is brand new, clean, modern and not too large. The white sand beach with turquoise water was one of the most beautiful we have been too. The pools are large, easily accessible and have lots of seating. Supplies are limited because sure to bring your condiments and any extras you like. The staff were all very helpful, polite and always smiling. A shout out to a few special staff members that went above and beyond. The electric personality of the pool attendant Luis was amazing. His soul purpose is to make you smile and assist you any way he can. Yailenis (Yai) and Yordays at the pool bar were amazing at making us many delicious drinks. They are very knowledgeable. Dainelis at the buffet was always prompt to get us whatever we needed. These employees make us want to go back to this resort as they made our vacation very memorable. We hope to return soon.
