Sanctuary at Grand Memories Holguin: Santuary at Grand Memories, Antilla, Holguin

This is the cleanest resort I have ever been to in Vuba, very well maintained. The people are the most genuine people you will ever meet, they smile & greet you even though behind that smile is a very hard life. The food was very good at Santuary a big notch up from the Grand Memories buffet. Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Great resort

The hotel staff were great the only thing I would like to see is more of a selection in the buffet restaurant. The villa room we stayed in was always clean and fully supplied. The 24 hour bar/ restaurant had a good selection of food. It was hard for my froend who doesn't drink to get a lemon in his water other then that a great week at the resort.

Grand Memories Holguin: All that glitters is not gold

The hotel is new, extremally well laid out, beautiful beach and pools with a great staff. Downside is repetitive meals and lack of mixes to make even basic drinks. We were in a 5th floor suite and the elevators were not working the entire time we were there (2 weeks)

Playa Pesquero: Playa Pesquero has it ALL

The room we had was a standard sized vacation room, nicely decorated and furnished. The pools and beaches were well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots to do at the beach, sailing, kayaking, paddle boats, snorkelling on the reef just off shore. If the beautiful beach is not your thing, there is lots of space around the pools. Evening entertainment is also provided. Some bars provide 24 hour food and beverage service. Currently the restaurant menus are offered on a monitor that guests can photograph and choose from. I assume this is a covid19 protocol, or just to conserve paper. We had an amazing time at this resort. This was our 4th visit and I would go again in a minute! They score a 5 out of 5 in my opinion.

Playa Costa Verde: Fantastic

Amazing staff from front desk, chamber maids, ground keepers, Management, Air Tranist Rep Jane. Our guide to thr Baseball game in Holguin. The restaurant staff who went above and beyond for my wife Mary's birthday. Jesus @ the swim up bar and his wife Tonya for an incredible off site supper. Delayed by Air Transit for a day and the hotel accomodated us in minutes. Our 26 x to Cuba, forst at this site and we will be back.

Don Lino Hotel: Simple small resort

Everything is good here for a quiet, family get away there is two beach on the property and another beach about one km away l would suggest this resort for anyone whom is looking forward to tranquility, peace and quiet as well as solidarity

Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: Excellent!

Great Resort , lots to eat & drink. Small flea market , walking distance. Beach & water excellent! Cuba is taking Canadian money !! It’s also perfect for kids ! Entertainment nightly I will be back !!!!

Playa Costa Verde: Great experience

People were incredible, beach was amazing and the food was great! Lots of options for things and places to eat, and the beach volleyball was awesome. Definitely a highlight for us! Would highly recommend!

We are return visitors but had not been down since 2018 We were not sure what to expect as of course Cuba had suffered greatly with Covid a Hurricane and then shortly before wd went big bush fires Well we certainly had nothing to worry about. Paradisus Rio De Oro: Wonderful Resort

The resort is easy to navigate, the grounds are impressive, and the staff are wonderful. There was plenty of fresh veggies and fruit everyday and chefs were on hand to prepare fresh cooked eggs, omelettes, and other breakfast foods as well as fresh cooked fish and meats for lunch and supper. There was a variety of breads, cold meats and cheeses. The pools and beaches were spectacular. I would recommend this resort to anyone

We were at this resort for 2 weeks, the resort is great , staff are amazing. They go out of their way to help in anyway. The food, the restaurants were all great, except for the international restaurant was so so, but everything else was great. The beach club restaurant and the 24 hour restaurant are very good also. This resort gets top marks for friendly staff, food offerings, comfortable and spacious rooms, ease of access to everything, free amenities, location, food handling, water handling, beautiful beach, excellent pool area, access to loungers, beautiful gardens and grounds, easy a la carte bookings and so much more. Can't compliment them enough for making sure you are having a good time and have everything you need, and always prompt responses from customer service. Buffet had lots of options every day, plus breakfast omelette station, pasta bar at lunch and dinner, and a carving station for dinners; fresh bread and rolls all the time. Of course the weather was fantastic and the ocean incredible. Easy to get around and participate in activities, with beautiful views, a botanical garden area and nightly entertainment. Plus a club/disco for late night if you want. This place is ideal for couples and small groups, and you can even get a personalized heart, displayed all along the beach front to commemorate your visit and occasion.

Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: Depends If you want to stay on your balcony and sit becauase you cant get a seat by pool or ocean or go to the pool with no shade or cover by the Sun must go to ocean around three pm to finally seat and see the ocean and breath like i sad i didnt go to be under a tree

This hotel was really new and great lobby and snack bar 24 hours .Has washrooms for disability people big deal where do they do stay in room or pool. This place had not enough chairs by the pool one pool no umbrellas or trees no shade hardly no one used. My poor sister in-law with a cane and metal in her knee had to struggle to get chair by pool and miss out for ocean water. I m in better shape i went to guess service to complain they don't care. The lobby at night not enough to seat to have a drink. they had to many people lots to improve. Food was good lots people were complaining no red wine but they were selling red wine to people that I couldn't figure out but VIPs got it some were using our pool too . There was no pasta for the two weeks that I was there were the Montrealer up set I'm Italian I didn't miss it. I wont return if they don't fix all the problems to bad it is an nice hotel and restaurants. Returning at Airport it was a night mare no seats we had to stand when I arrived there was no air transit or Ola sun to check in we had to wait I paid for option plus no service to go or plane. Tried to call to complain I paid 612.00 to go and come back . I feel air transit should return and refund me for my return flight that was hell never have I experience this I have been to Holguin before twice this is my third visit. I cant find a complaint depart for air transit I sent email no response and they got a reward. Sunwing people complain there service was better they had two lines to check in . They were at the Hotel everyday not Air transit or Hola Sun

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Another fantastic trip to Paradisis Ro de Oro

Just got back from the Rio de Oro for the 17th time and it was one of the best yet. The staff are like visiting old and new friends and accommodating in every way possible. They overcome any shortages, which are beyond their control, with innovation. The bathrooms in the rooms have been beautifully renovated and the grounds are beautiful inspite of the draught they had been suffering. Many of the guests are return customers who know a great vacation spot when we have found it.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: First but not our Last Visit

The highlight of the Resort was the Staff, whether Reception, Bar, Food or Maintenance, all Staff seemed happy and could not do enough to ensure every bit of our stay was enjoyable We enjoyed the Beach, Pool and Spa facilities each almost daily. Food was always excellently prepared and plentiful. There are a few areas of maintenance concern where it seems like management has chosen to not keep infrastructure in base condition (our Patio door handle was broke, some Tiki Huts with rotten  [... read more]floors, Patio Tiles broke and not replaced) but I truly believe their doing their best in a financially constrained business environment, and ensuring the important items are in good repair. We spoken with many visitors who are repeat visitors, many for over 10 years, and most after having bad experiences at other resorts. This was a first visit to Cuba for us, and we were not disappointed. If we return to Cuba, we will choose Paradisus Rio de Oro again, without hesitation

Iberostar Selection Holguin: Amazing Family Resort

Rooms were clean, food was the best we’ve had in Cuba (was my 7th time) and there was plenty of food. We had to call for toilet paper once but was delivered no problem! The water park was great for my 5 and 2 yr olds and so was the beach nice and shallow and not super wavy! The staff was pleasant but not outgoing we’ve enjoyed other staff more but we love talking to them, if you prefer to not be bothered and just keep to yourself you will love it! The rise from the airport was about one hour but it was beautiful, got to see some city, small towns and country side including their mountains.

Don Lino Hotel: Loved my trip.

I have never stayed at such a quaint, real Cuban style resort. I was immensely impressed with my room, the food and friendly staff. The beach was not what I am used to but only moments are two others. I had the best time ever at what is considered a 2.5 resort.
