Grand Palladium Colonial: Paradise!!!!!!!!!!

This resort was absolutely amazing! Words can't even describe how great our experience was at the Grand Palladium Resort & Spa in Mexico. From the minute we entered foot in the front lobby we were treated with amazing service. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The resort is well maintained and I mean extremely maintained. The gardens, pools, beach, rooms are all well taken care of. Exemplary standings to a fantastic resort! Never a dull moment in terms of the entertainment part of the resort. The shows were by far amazing and made our experience one we will never forget. The list could go on and on so I hope people who travel to this amazing resort have the same experience we had. We would definitely recommend this resort to others travelling to the Mayan Riveria.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: This was an Ok Resort

I traveled to this resort for a friend's wedding, and while it was ok, I feel that for the price that I paid it could've been better. It's a huge resort so be prepared for walking, or wait for the golf carts to transport you. The biggest downsides was the food and swim up bars.I'm 5'2 and the swim up bar must be 6' deep, so I could never walk back with me drink, stay in the middle of the pool without treading water (which means I couldn't enjoy my drink). The buffet got boring after 2 days sinc [... read more]e the food never changes. Also, the al la cartes are only open for dinner, which is annoying because the buffet food gets boring. Bring an extension cord because there's only 3 plugs in the room, and you have to unplug everything to use them. Also bring ziplocs to take snacks from the buffet, as there's no where to get snacks if the buffet is closed.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Stellar Property!

The Grand Palladium certainly lives up to its name! The stunning resort sits amidst lush oceanfront jungle. Designed with travelers in mind, ease of access, beautiful views, and first class service make every guest feel like a prince. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and eager to please. The rooms were luxurious, the amenities spotless, pools breathtaking, beaches endlesss, and drinks bottomless. Highly recommend!

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: another amazing holiday

Everything was amazing... right from the moment we arrived at the resort. Our room was spectacular. The food was amazing and the beaches and view was awesome. This was our second time at this resort and we would go back for a 3rd

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Good food, nice resort!

The hotel is a 45 minute bus ride from Montego Bay..not a bad ride.. The restaurants, at the hotel were really good, grounds well kept, room was nice..downfall was the thin walls..we heard the neighbours talking...we were on the ground floor...sounded like the people above were having a dance competition... The beaches were nice, but bring bug spray...unfort., our youngest was food for the sand fleas... Grand Palladium Colonial: Some Good, and some not so good...

The resort offers a lot of pluses and a few minuses... Plus: The resort is very clean, the staff are lovely and helpful, the grounds are beautiful and the beach and pools are amazing. Even at March Break, it didn't seem overly crowded -except perhaps at dinner time. Never a problem getting a spot on the beach or pools. Minus: Huge resort. A lot of walking. The carts make it easier so make use of them. But if you don't like to get lost in a big resort. Choose something else. A la cart restau [... read more]rants were good, but difficult to get tables. No reservations, but your entire party has to be there at the same time or you wait an hour + - even when table sit empty. Buffets are...poor. Esp. for dinner. Beds are thin mattresses on top of box springs, but clean, up to date, rooms. My free bottle of Tequila disappeared after a day...not sure where.... Overall, I preferred the Azul resort much better but I went offseason so it may be more expensive. BTW the teen lounge is a joke as is the wifi...don't expect either to keep your teens entertained OR to keep in touch with them via text.

Grand Palladium Palace: Very nice

In many ways the Grand Palladium Place Resort and Spa was excellent. The hotel itself is very nice ,the customer service representatives were friendly and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful and kept clean and well maintained.. My wife and I found that meals were well prepared and gave each of us a nice choice to choose from. Waiters for the most part were friendly however, at times seemed to forget others and concentrate on people they knew better . We had a junior renovated s [... read more]uite and it was spacious with only a few problems that were fixed in a reasonable amount of time once they were identified. The major problem with the room was the tub. When having showers the water would leak onto the floor in the area of the bed. The glass tub enclosure (s) and I say enclosures because many of my siblings experienced the same problem. Checking in and out was very well organized. The hotel computer for printing out boarding passes was not working the best and after paying all that money why do we need to pay 5 US dollars to print out a boarding pass(30 min pc time). Myself and others experienced pc problems and, if they were not sorted out, the cost would have been much much more to print it out. To me this payment is a form of gouging an individual. A strong point is the fact that come 11 pm you could hear a pin drop, the bands had stopped playing in the vicinity of the hotel. Allowing all to have quiet a noise free environment to just sit back and relax or sleep. We would definitely book the hotel again.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: 'Good' stay

Overall good experience, clean rooms, pleasant staff, beautiful grounds, food was good (wouldn't want to stay more than 7 days same food, but variety of options gets boring after a few days). What I didn't like was the way you were treated by color of bracelet. We had a purple bracelet.. this means we waited for dinner (about 1 hour-1.5 hours). Also this hotel is far from the airport and excursions.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Fabulous resort.

The hotel was great. We loved the grounds and being able to walk through such a lovely landscape. There were lots of little kids for the pre-Christmas family vacation but my husband and I were always able to find places to swim and relax with noticing them. The highlight of our vacation was the spa. I think it must be a hidden gem because it is seems to go unnoticed. Great for us because we had lots of time to enjoy the great features from the massages to the pool. We stayed at White Sands [... read more] seven years ago and we are pleased to see that the Kantenah was just as great. We will definitely be back.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: OMG!

Grand Palladium's are the best! We've done the one in Mexico and now Jamaica. Both are gorgeous, well maintained and very clean resorts. The staff is friendly, helpful and fun. My favorite acivities we're the reggae and zumba classes especially when Talawah was part of the team. Loved her personality, she was always smiling and laughing. She made my day everyday! Thanks Talawah! I loved the many choices of a la carte restaurants, buffets and bars. The food is delicious and the house wine very [... read more] good. The only recommendations I would make would be to announce the activities over a loud speaker a few minutes before so that we can participate more often, we are relaxing so much that we don't notice the time go by and sometimes miss out on classes. I also appreciated the music playing all the time in the speakers surrounding the pool area but would recommend playing more cultural music rather than american. We want to be submerged in the country we are visiting not only with it's decor but it's music.

TRS Turquesa: Awesome Resort

This resort was fabulous so much to see and very entertaining, clean great hospitality such an overall great experience. I would recommend this resort to all aged. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Great Family Resort

The resort was great but for the star quality it can use some improvements. We liked that there were 4 sections to the hotel which we could visit. There were rides available to get to the other lobbies but we loved the option to walk on the trials and along the beach to get to them. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had issues with the in-room beverage refrigerator. The floor was flooded when we got to the room so we had to get that cleaned up. The bed sheets were stained and dirty on t [... read more]he pull out sofa which we had to have changed when we arrived. There are toppers available for the sofa beds, but this was not offered to us and we only found out about this option from another person who had one, so we requested one. Before the topper, my son complained about the sofa bed being too hard and not having good sleep. The sofa beds are very hard and the topper made a big difference so it should be offered at check in. There are rugs in the suites which we never saw being vacuumed. The main rug in our suite was very dirty so we had to request to have it removed all together. The food options were very good. The Japanese Sumptuori and Chang Thai restaurants were the best. The buffet restaurants were great also but the Tikal was better than the others with more food selection. We thought the beach Punta Emilia restaurant needs much improvement. Everything was very salty and the garlic shrimp were poor quality and very overcooked. The beach was beautiful but we found that the members beach was maintained better than the rest which is not very fair. The pools were all wonderful. The entertainment staff at the pools were super fun and friendly. The Pirate show was the best! Super fun! Knowing the hotel now and what to expect would make our return trip much better. We do plan to return some day. Hopefully some of the improvements needed will be addressed.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Great Resort, Lots to Do

The grounds, rooms and staff at the Grand Palladium White Sands were amazing. The other three resorts were also beautifully maintained and the staff seemed really pleasant. The White Sands was one of the quieter resorts but still within walking distance of the Colonial and the Riviera where all the action was. Food was good, not exeptional but good. Beach was amazing with the nicer beach being in front of the Kantanah.

Grand Palladium Palace: Great Resort !

We were very pleased from the moment we arrived to the Grand Pladium Palace .The staff was extremely warm and friendly . Although our room was not ready when we arrived we were advised of which restaurants we could go to and our luggage was well taken of . Very shortly after our room was ready and we were very pleased .The room was as exactly shown online and very clean . The resort accommodated our requests to be close to the pool and beach . Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: A wonderful first time experience!

This was my first all-inclusive (girls only) trip and I was extremely pleased by everything and everyone. I have nothing negative to say about the resort or staff, but I did find the "street vendors" on the boardwalks at night to be a little bit of a bother. But, this first trip has given me the travel bug and I've already looked at your other locations and I'm working on my husband to go to your Jamaica Montego Bay location.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: First time Vacationer

This was the first all inclusive trip that my girlfriend and I have taken so we don't have much to compare it too but we loved it! The resort was bigger than we thought which we preferred as we were able to go to any of the areas ob the resort. The service was incredible, food was better than expected, the rooms and other amenities were great and everything was very clean and comfortable. However, one thing to point out was the resort was very family friendly and most of the guests were older and looking more for just a relaxing vacation. We are quite young and this too is what we wanted so that was great for us, but if you are a younger person looking for more a party scene you may be disappointed. Not to say the resort wasn't entertaining or people were reclusive in any way it was actually quite the opposite. The other guests were extremely friendly and having a great time but wanting a more relaxing than a party vacation. I'd like to highlight one of the baggage guys Gustavo and commend him on his service, friendliness and willingness to help us with anything we needed. In closing we had a great time and plan on going back in the future.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Amazing Resort****

This resort is is 1 of 3 together, located at Bavaro Beach and IT IS THE BEST. I have stayed at the Palace also and the Bavaro is a 10. The rooms are very spacious with a balcony and you overlook luscious grounds that are very well maintained. The pool is great with a swim-up bar and the beach is one with soft white sand. Also lots of shade areas. Swimming is great, no rocks etc to surprise you in the water. Occassionally you have nice waves to jump thru with no undertoe and you can w [... read more]alk along the water's edge for miles, if that is your wish. The hotel staff is very friendly and always there to assist and help. In my opinion, the bavaro area is the area with the BEST BEACHES.

TRS Turquesa: Overall vacation great but a bit disappointed

Overall the resort and vacation was great. We were able to relax, enjoy the sun and the beach. There was a few things that we were surprised. We arrived on Sunday and that same day, we went to our butler and requested to received our "à la carte" restaurant. We were told that it was quit full and the nights we wanted to go the hours were not pleasant. It was either 6pm or 9pm and the restaurants we wanted to go were full. We were told that this can be done in advance on the site of the resort,  [... read more]so I would recommend highly to reserve your "à la carte" restaurant before arriving at the resort. Rooms in building 50 were very updated and nice. Close to the beach, pool and lobby. Highly recommend. For the man, you are allowed to wear shorts at the restaurants in the evening with enclosed shoes. No need of long pants! Service wasn't exceptionally great. It may be because of the culture of the Dominican but I've been to different places in the Caribbean and for a 5 star adult only resort, I didn't felt that I got my money worth for it. There is room for improvement. Entertainment is not a big here. If you like shows at night, not the place. Our lobby is enclosed and very cold so never went for a drink. The other lobbies at the other Palladium resorts that you can go at anytime were great but for the nightly shows, this is a disappointment. They were too far from our resort and very late (after 10pm). Best spot on the beach. Enough chairs, towels. No need to wake up early and reserve a chair at the beach. For the pool, the one closest to the beach yes you would need to reserve a spot early but the other pool between the building 50 and lobby (this is the best one), you do not need to reserve a chair. I would recommend this resort if you are not looking for any big entertainment, just for relaxation and not more.

TRS Turquesa: 4-4.5 star

The hotel was nice but paid a lot of money and expected the rooms to be nicer. After first night asked for a room upgrade which they did no problem for $20 per night fee. Much better room and a view. Beds were extremely hard and asked twice if they had a mattress pad .. twice they said yes but never received one. Food at restaurants was very good. I recommend you make dinner reservations first day you are there otherwise you could have a long wait. Some restaurants don't have staff that speak E [... read more]nglish so that was a little challenging. Lots of restaurant choices. Butlers weren't on hand as mentioned in the package. Most staff were very good but some staff clearly did not like their job. Tips are included but naturally you do however pool staff seemed to disappear once they got a tip. Beaches were beautiful and they keep vendors off the beach but you step one foot off and every step you get a vendor trying to get you into their store. The grounds were well kept and always staff working on site. All in all a nice place. We will go back to Punta Cana but would not go there again. We will try another resort. Oh & stay away from the free game at the casino. That will only cost you money. Read up on gambling in PC before you do it.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Great resort

1. Beautiful grounds that emerged in glowing blossoms as the week progressed, yet with fewer grounds men than seen at other large resorts. 2. Many security patrol the grounds. 3 The evening showtime was great - No 2 in 10 years of Caribbean trips, with so many classy costume changes and performers 4. Good range of restaurants, but pre-booking time is essential to avoid long line ups at peak periods 5. Staff very friendly.
