Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Great resort

Food was great. Service was very good. Only problem was that they have construction going on during the night and our room was initially right behind it so it kept us from getting sleep because of the constant banging of hammers during the night. They were good about it and changed our rom the next day

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Dont Go There

This hotel is devided into 3 different classes. VIP ,ADULTS ONLY and THE REST. The resturants are half all inclusive the rest of the menu you have to pay . A lot of the bars are pay only if you are the Rest This hotel is only ALL INCLUSIVE if you are a VIP OR ADULTS otherwise you pay. Pool is filthy beach is full of seaweed. Only seats at 6am I could go on

Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort: Pretty Resort

The resort is beautifully situated with a great view of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and ready to assist. The resort it self is in good shape the buffet and spa were also very nice. The lobby needs sprucing up and gives a bad reflection of the rest of the resort . The room that we had did need some work. The air conditioning dripped all over the floor and there was a moldy smell in the future.The matrices were very hard and need to be replaced. Paradise Playa Dorada: Ok resort

Resort was very clean. Beach was clean and you could walk a long way. Staff very friendly. Italian restaurant was terrible. Took 1/2 hr. just to get a glass of wine and 1 1/2 hrs. till we got our meal and it wasn’t that good. We went to the other a la carte, the grill, and it wasn’t that great either. There’s a mall just 5 walking minutes away. The down sides.....ocean was rough, so hard to go in, it’s an older resort so small things went wrong, hard to get hot water. Furniture certainly showing it’s age. We requested 2 rooms adjoining, with 2 double beds, and on the main floor as we had an 80 year old. We didn’t even come close, first room had a king bed, second floor, and the second room wasn’t adjoining, it was also second floor but it did have 2 double beds. They wouldn’t budge. Very disappointing. We’re not fussy women, but found a few things just not up to par. Would we go back, no.

Playabachata Hotel: Lovely resort

We loved the grounds , very close to the beach from rooms and buildings. They left so many palm trees, so it's very pretty and you can have sun and shade everywhere. We liked the smaller more intimate style of the buildings. Everything was clean and comfortable. Not the most updated but lot's of charm. Staff was friendly and very efficient. Highly recommend this resort.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Amazing Resort ! 6 out of 5 Stars !

My wife and I stayed at the Barcelo Bavaro Beach ( Adult Only ) Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican during the week of March 18th, 2019 and we absolutely loved everything about it. The weather was perfect ( 29 degrees and sunny every day ) and the resort even more perfect. We have been to many resorts in Cuba and Mexico over many years and this was our first time to the Dominican and we have declared this resort our 2nd home away from home. The warmth and friendliness of the entire staff was so welcoming. Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations from the super friendly staff ( which by the way, the amount of staff blew us away.) There were more than plenty of staff there to serve and assist and there was never a line up at the bars, or the lunch buffets etc. The food was absolutely amazing and I found it better than the Mexican Resorts that we had been to in the past. There were plenty of choices of restaurants to choose from and we thoroughly enjoyed every restaurant we ate at. This resort has the best of both worlds. It is 2 resorts in 1. The Adult Only Beach Resort is part of the Barcelo Palace Resort which is a much bigger resort and caters to families for the most part. We stayed on the Adult Only Beach Resort which is a much smaller size resort that has the nice small size resort feel that my wife and I enjoy and the rooms are all right there on the beach and we have our own pool, pool side bar, and several restaurants and buffet. But, we had access as well to all the Palace side of the resort has to offer as well such as their casino, bowling alley and arcade, restaurants, upscale shopping mall, water park that includes water slides and a wave pool, mini golf and one of the other deciding factors as to why we chose this resort was they have their own golf course on the resort as well and we were able to get a few rounds in during our stay. Such a nice enjoyable relaxing vacation. We will be back next year, and the next year and the.........

Riu Republica: Your Choice—“Busy or Restful” 👍

We though this hotel was amazing overall. Grounds were immaculate. Pools very clean. Staff were attentive. Beach was amazing for long walks and views. Waves a bit much some days. Our room was always taken care of and mini bar replenished regularly. We would recommend to our friends. Great time in Punta Cana.

Viva Heavens by Wyndham: Nice small resort

This is a nice , clean ,smaller size resort with nice staff and large rooms.it's is not located on beach , there is about a 10 minute walk down path to beach would not suggest for elderly or infirmed as it's quite a walk back and forth from beach to your room.

Impressive Punta Cana: We were happily Impressed!!..:)

We just came back from staying at the Impressive resort in Punta Cana for 10 days, and we would love to return,unfortunatly I lost out on three days and two nights(was hospitalized) for a health issue,and felt like those extra days would have been great to have had(FYI doctor at resort is so kind,and caring,and makes sure your well taken care of)...but you just simply cannot for see what your trip may entail..(tip,make sure to always buy health insurance, manuela will help you with that, as well [... read more] as making sure all your travel needs are met concerning trip planning. We were really happy with the lushness and cleanliness of the impressive resort, the staff was kind and courteous, but if going off resort expect to be harassed..and a polite no gracias suffices in any unwanted selling tactics. We were content with the food choices,many varieties to choose from,although our favorite was the Italian restaurant by far,we also would recommend going premium, as we didn't, and we felt that there was obvious segregation between the two.If your going on a trip that you have saved for,its in our opinion worth making it, one not to forget, and be treated extra special with Premium. In saying that we didn't feel short changed just didn't get any extra perks..and we would have enjoyed that,as we were celebrating our first alone trip together in 23 years,and our 31 year anniversary....so premium it will be for us in the future...The pools were clean and great to cool off in,or just hang out together floating around,and we always seemed to get our favourite spot, pool side to sit and enjoy chillin together and people watching...as for the drinks..we loved the Pina Coladas..and are missing them right now..;)..The ocean was delightful to float around in..and was the perfect temperature...Our room was kept clean every day, and our fridge restocked with whatever we asked for...as well they were just finishing building a beautiful long dock extending far into the ocean...would love to return to see the final result.I hope this review helps someone choose this resort...we would go back for sure...kindly Trina and Grant.

Occidental Punta Cana: Nice

Nice green grounds, nice blue swimming pools, nice restaurants. Some Canadians, Some ethnic Italians and French. Over 50 % Russians but no large groups. Mostly polite couples. Standard Superior Rooms do not get international drinks except wine. Only domestic drinks at regular standard bars. They are not good. The worse mohito drink I ever tasted. I did not see any prosciutto. 2 extra clubs are but they pay more and they do get international drinks. Large waves in the sea not save for chi [... read more]ldren. Water nor clear because of Sand in the water. Yellow flags most days.

Riu Bambu: Impressed

I've been to Punta Cana many times and this resort would be on the top of my list. Beautifully maintained and well managed in every aspect. I was overall impressed with the way this resort conducts business.

Riu Republica: Great resort

Rooms and all bathrooms on the premises were very clean. The buffet had a good variety and good food. The entertainment and music around the pool was good. Shows are average like everywhere. Did not like that there was only 1 store on the resort grounds. Vendors are on the beach only unless you go to the flea market.

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Almost perfect

This resort is great. The location is amazing, and the grounds are meticulously maintained. Food was top notch. Waterpark was a great bonus for our family. There were only a few things that made my experience not perfect. There is an issue at the resort with water drainage. On the day we arrived, the check in lobby at the tropical suites side was flooded due to heavy rain. I also witnessed one of the swim up bars become flooded during heavy rain as well. These drainage issues need to be  [... read more]fixed. The other issue i had with the resort was with a birthday package that i paid for. I paid for the resort to decorate our room, and have a cake made and champagne served at dinner for my sons 4th birthday. The cake was supplied, but the room was not decorated during cleaning. I approached the front desk concierge and they assured me the room was going to be decorated at 5pm. We returned to our room after dinner only to find no decorations. This is totally unacceptable. They returned our money, but it doesnt replace the fact that they ruined his birthday. If these issues get fixed, this would have been a perfect vacation.

Secrets Cap Cana: Fantastic Spot!!

Super clean and ultra chic hotel. The 24/7 room service which you can order via your in room tablet was awesome. In-room they have a convenient butler's door as well in which you do not even need to open your door to get your room service. The food was great at all restaurants although the service was pretty slow from time to time. Overall very clean resort, rooms very super luxury. We would go again!

Riu Palace Macao: Awesome Vacation spot!

The Riu Palace Macao is a lovely Adults Only resort. The grounds and properties are well maintained. The Animation (recreation) staff are exceptional. Participated in stretching and water aerobics daily. The beach area is lovely. Food at the buffet was awesome! All staff extremely friendly and accommodating.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Can't wait to go back!!

Our family really enjoyed the Majestic Colonial. The hotel room was great, the food was very good and the beachfront and pool areas were wonderful. The kids area with water slides were very much enjoyed by our five year old. Definitely recommend this resort and hope to go back soon!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Good Resort

The resort itself is beautiful and quite large. Good variety of activities happening throughout the day. Great place to come with a family. The beach is pretty much impossible to use with the issue of people saving chairs however the multiple pools make up for it. Food at buffet is okay, a la cartes are great.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: First class resort

The staff are the best ever, always smiling and helping with all our needs, and they work very hard. Room is large and very clean. Fresh towels and bedding every day. As return guests we had an amazing special dinner in beach restaurant. We had the best Grouper and all the trimmings. We booked premium package which included acces to Vintage club for top of the line drinks and fancy coffees.we also had all our a lacartes booked for us. Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Love this resort

We just spent a week at this resort from March 26 to April 2, 2019. This was our 6th visit to this resort and it’s like a second home. Reception employees and the concierges are great especially Manual. The oceanview rooms are beautiful and our room was cleaned beautifully everyday with a cute towel ornament displayed. The food was great and the buffet has a different theme every night. The Japanese restaurant is entertaining as well as having great food. The grounds have been upgraded [... read more] with beautiful lighting at night. The beach is gorgeous and there was never an issue with finding an umbrella with chairs at the beach or near the pool. The pool needs some upgrading as it needs tiles to be fixed and a fresh coat of paint. The entertainment is probably the one area that could improve the most. The MC’s are fantastic but the singers are weak and the choreography was too intricate for the level of the dancers. The Star Band was great with talented musicians. The costumes were gorgeous and of course the Michael Jackson show was super! Overall we had a relaxing time. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait until our fall trip and will extend our stay to 10 or 14 days!!!

We just came back from a 12 day stay at this resort. We stayed in building 5 on the ground floor. It was very quiet and the room was clean. Wifi was not that strong, however came in clear in other areas. The food was great especially at the three al a carts which we took advantage of. The Mexican and the Dominican were our favs. The staff was friendly and the grounds were always being cleaned. It was seaweed season there but that did not deter us from swimming in the ocean. What impressed me the most was that the booze was not forced on anyone but available on request. Only complaint was the music could have been a few decimals lower for us older folks.
