Riu Cancun: Really great experience, first class treatment!

This hotel was splendid, with one of the best service staff and amazing restaurants throughout the resort. The guests were all very friendly and social, and the bars are designed to keep the party going and keep the resort lively! I can't wait to go back to Riu Cancun again!!

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Great Resort!

The resort was great! Food, especially the a la cartes, was really good. The buffet selection is small, however this ensure fresh food is always being brought out and it’s not sitting for extended periods of time. The overall feel is relaxing and there was always lounge chairs and couches to sit on in the evenings. One part the group of us enjoyed was the adult side (la perla) is not restricted to only those who booked for that section. We were able to eat at the buffet for breakfast and book a la cartes on this side or even go get a drink at one of the bars. We thoroughly enjoyed this option. As two of us were celebrating birthdays, the resort staff surprised us by putting balloons in our room which was a nice touch. In the mornings when heading out to breakfast or the pool, we would place the door hanger out indicating you are “out enjoying paradise” and our room was cleaned most days upon return to change into our swimsuits which again is much better than most resorts where they are cleaning it late afternoon when you are wishing to get out of the sun. Overall this resort was one of the best we’ve all stayed at and are looking at returning in the new year! I would recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for good food, relaxing time and excellent service, especially Grisey and Marcos, two of the pool side servers who were quick to take our orders, both food and drink and would even bring the drinks to us while we were in the pool trying to stay cool. They were as amazing as the resort was!

Riu Cancun: Amazing time and amazing resort!

The resort was incredible and the booking with Nephilene was so easy and she was helpful all the way leading up to our trip. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this resort to other travelers.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Amazing experience

This resort is a great experience for anyone that loves nature and wildlife! The staff was super friendly, Valentina at building 21 and our waiter’s Carlos at the Italian a la Cart and Carlos at the beach buffet where such wonderful people. I don’t know their names but all the staff from building 18 (where my friends stayed) were truly wonderful as well. The beignets were fantastic and so much better than the al a cart restaurants! We didn’t watch any of the entertainment while there, wasn’t for us. But the grounds and the scenery beat anywhere else I have ever stayed.

El Dorado Maroma: Great Resort! Great service!

We spent the last week of October at the El Dorado Maroma. It was great! The resort is on the smaller side, which we prefer, with everything close by. The food was very good - buffet for breakfast and lunch and several a la carte restaurants for dinner. The beach was pristine clean with lots of beach beds and chairs available. Our room was very nice with a huge balcony where there was a beach bed which would have come in handy if you wanted to get out of the sun or if it had been rainy (which t [... read more]hankfully it wasn’t). Lastly, the service was excellent! All of the staff was extremely friendly - no matter who you met they said hello - and very helpful! The only thing I would point out is that it’s very quiet and out if the way - we really liked that but not everyone would. Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone!

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Gets better each time.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Doable.

I stayed at this resort for five nights. I selected it because it was indicated as a five star resort. The staff was great the resort was clean but it wasn’t a five star. Also, it’s really not for solo travellers.

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Great experience

The rooms are super nice and clean. the staff were always very friendly and helpful. The food was very good even if the portion sizes were on the small size. The bartenders could make anything we asked for. The grounds were under renovation but that was not really any problem.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Good hotel

The public areas is good, restaurants good, the rooms need renovation, The beach is terrible. In conclusion is a good hotel with a good service persons, and a terrible beach. Oh I forget, really love the care of the hotel have wit the nature.

Barcelo Maya Grand Resort: Barcelo Maya Grand

Sunwing flight is absolutely terrible, DO NOT waste your money on their Elite Plus Package you get nothing of value for your money. Just pay for advance seating as that is virtually all that you get. We were in row 1, same skinny uncomfortable seats as the other rows except you have to put every small item purses etc., in the overhead bins but the first avaialable bin for use was in Row 6. The front ones were used by the flight staff. You end up getting off the plane last as you cannot get ba [... read more]ck to your overhead bin due to passengers in the aisles until the plane empties. Resort was clean but rooms are very run down once each of us (3 rooms) managed to get the AC fixed, plumbing working we had a nice stay. They put us up in the Barcelo Beach complex not the "Grand" we were expecting as the Grand turns out to be a catch all term for fhe entire Barcelo Resorts at this site. It is a huge complex of different resorts each of a different level of quality you won't know which resort your getting when you rent under the "Barcelo Maya Grand" title, very misleading. You can guess which price range the Beach Resort falls in. I am not sure if this was Trip Central's misleading advertising or Barcelo Resorts. This was very frustrating as we have been to the same Barcelo Maya resorts numerous times but always knew which resort you were getting. Never again.....

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Would never go back!

Our family vacation and we have no support from air vacations or trip Central to change hotel for the same value. We have several pictures of what we have being through. They want us to pay full penalty to leave Now Jade. We have travelled the world and never had such a poor service. We will advise trip advisor and sent a dispute to our credit card for non informative of what was going on at the hotel. The construction is very loud and we can’t have access to the whole resort.  [... read more] Two restaurants are closed. We are at the beach and we still ear the construction. This was an unique family vacation. My mom is 85 yrs old and we are so disappointed . The family counted on us since we have travelled many times to Riviera Maya in 5 stars. We have being to Valentin, Hard rock, Secret, Paradisius etc.. We wanted a compensation or a transfer.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing stay!

We had a great time, pretty much every aspect was great, food was fantastic and so plenty, maybe to plenty according to my clothes! Room was well appointed, beds quite comfy, we had a rooftop jacuzzi with a nice ocean view! Lots of fun at the disco most nights!

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Amazing Resort

It is 5 stars in all its features From the marble floor room to clean satin sheets to white bath robe with white slippers.the pool is crystal clean ,you can see a needle at the bottom.The bar has all imported scotch and vodka.The staff are very friendly they speak English better than I do;very eager to accommodate the guests

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Awesome vacation

It is a fantastic resort, the room was very clean and nice , the grounds were very beautiful, the pools were awesome-big and clean , the beach was very nice as well- even though the hotel was 93 % full they were plenty of empty chairs . The restaurants were also very nice - we when to 6 of them- Italian, Brazilian (very good) , Japanese ... !!!! The entertainment team was fantastic! It was Super vacation!

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: very nice clean resort

Very nice hotel/resort layout! Short walk to all areas ie pools, restaurants and lobby. Would have liked more variety at the buffet restaurant ----- ie ice cream, yogurt and more fruit at lunch and supper time. Cappucinos and regular coffees were really good! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely good value for the price we paid.

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Return Visit

This was our second time at the Paradisus La Esmeralda. We loved it so much that we wanted to return. The check-in process was simple, we were welcomed immediately. Our rooms weren't ready but that gave us time to grab some lunch in the buffet and refamiliarize ourselves with the resort. The waterpark is an amazing addition. It wasn't open last year when we went. The kids (and adults) loved it and it was never busy! The staff at the poolside restaurant were amazing. Arturo kept us well ta [... read more]ken care of every day. The Activities Staff (Angel and crew) provided so much fun. My children loved playing the games with them by the pool. No surprise, the food in the restaurants was top notch. We even ventured onto the adults-only side to try one of their a la cartes. Overall, a fantastic vacation. We will be back again!

Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta: Clean and fun resort!

We just returned from a 7 day vacation at this hotel. Oct 29 - Nov 5. I really loved the property and the location. Rooms and resort was VERY clean. Music playing in lobby and around resort was really good! Just wished there was a "quieter" pool for guest to sit at and read a book with music that isn't so loud. Always a smile and willing to help! 2)Luis (I think is his name) in the Zen restaurant. He was working the sushi kitchen in front and he brought us some "special" off the menu items. THEY WERE AMAZING!! HE needs to get those ideas on the menu!! 3) Magic Dee around the pool was friendly asking how the day was going, he came and cleaned my sunglasses too! We had good conversation with him! The turtles are hatching like crazy right now so right in front of the hotel you could watch this amazing birth!!! The elevators a FAST and efficient! The entertainment staff always had fun things going on during the day at the pool. The front bell staff getting luggage out of the taxis and assisting you with getting a taxi were all friendly and efficient. The only small thing I was irritated about was that other guests were ``member's`` We had no idea what this was about or how to get this membership. Many guests explained that they were able to enjoy the resort for $1200 a couple. We had paid $4000 a couple and were unsure as to why and how there could be such a difference. In addition, when I booked with Trip Central I choose a higher category room but felt the room was plain (clean) and we had 2 queen beds that they pushed together........ we were unable to understand the upgrade and cost to value on this resort. Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Beautiful Resort

Beautiful new resort; not too large. Rooms were nice and clean and only a few min walk to pool/restaurants. Only complaint is that the bath tub is right beside the bed and shower area open to the room (not the best when sharing a room for privacy). Some rooms have pull out couch which was great for kids not having to share beds. The "Double" beds are not true double (seemed smaller) but is big enough for kids or 1 adult to sleep comfortably. Italian was good, Fusion was the best! Did not try Japanese or steakhouse. Enjoyed having the lunch bar near the pool, if you did not want the buffet you did not need to go far for delicious food (my Husband said the burgers were the best he has had in a long time) and the Guacamole was amazing!!! Pool bar service was amazing! Server was checking on you frequently and very friendly Multiple pools was wonderful and having 2 swim up bars was nice. There is a separate activity pool so if you wanted to participate you would and if you wanted to relax or stay at the bar you were not disturbed by the pool activities/parties. Foam party is a must attend! Waterslide park is only a few steps away and greatly enjoyed by all in our group (young and old) Beach was beautiful and loved how some sections offered shade for the kids to play and you should still be in the sun if you wanted only a few feet away.

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Amazing Resort!!!

Gounds are beautiful, food is amazing, staff are very friendly and ready to assist when needed. Rooms are basic; however, its clean. I mean you don't go on vacation to to stay in the room, so can't complain. I love that there was no pest/bugs, so that gets a thumbs up from be. I will definitely visit again.
