Riu Santa Fe: Mucho Fun!

This was our THIRD time staying at the Riu Santa Fe, and we know it won’t be our last. It really is like the adult version of Disney Land. Drinks and food all day, fun and sun. Not to mention the Vegas-like pool parties they throw 4x a week. They have something for everyone, relaxing areas and party areas and water slides! It’s always so hard to go home. Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Wont be returning

Having been to this resort numerous times in the past years was very disappointed this time. Put in a room with no air conditioner working at all from the get go, and patio door not locking. Reported it the next day to our Transat rep at the info meeting and reported it to hotel. Day 2 reported it again to both parties. Day 3 days nothing fixed after being told it was and to return to our room to find nothing had been done. Back to front desk hours wasted hanging around for customer service to [... read more] deal with this after waiting 2 hours in the lobby in the evening eventually she came after we told the hotel no one had been to see us she said she had just been told. Lack of communication !!!! After she went to our room that night herself 11:30pm she told us to sleep in another room and issue would be resolved next day. Long story short it never was fixed and day 4 we got moved to another room sub standed to our ocean view room. After packing up stuff and moving rooms waiting for bell boys holiday started on day 5 thank god we had gone for 11 days. for A/C to break AFTER we have been in the room is one thing these things happen. BUT to actually put us in room with no air conditioning working from day one is not acceptable. And the hotel was not even full!

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Awesome resort

This resort is really great. Very well kept grounds, rooms are clean and in great repair. Food was also very good. Lots for kids to do and getting the use of four resorts for the price of one is fantastic. We will definitely go again.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Wonderful Vacation

We were very pleased with atmosphere and service at Sian Ka'an. Very clean resort and well organized. The deep blue pools are a beautiful contrast to the lush landscape. Quaint 3 storey buildings are close to the lobby as it is a smaller resort. Our suite had everything we needed including a la carte pillow service, aromatherapy brought to our room with room service included. We chose to walk down to the beach each morning which only took us about 20 minutes unless we stopped to shop at the Haci [... read more]enda before making our way down to the Tulum lobby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would not rate this as a 5 star resort however we were very pleased with our stay and definitely recommend. It is a budget friendly resort compared to other adults only resorts and they aim to please. My only complaint is there was no fitness facility at Sian Ka'an. Going to Coba or Akumal for a morning workout was quite inconvenient.

The Fives Downtown Hotel: Best hotel I’ve seen !

This hotel was just amazing, from the beginning to the end of the week. The staff is super friendly, always smiling and amazing for recommendations as well. The food was delicious in all restaurants and cafe. What you see I like for the rooms, the pool, the hotel is really what you will get. Great experience :)

Las Palmas by the Sea: An amazingly down to earth all inclusive resort

Me and my friends stayed here last year and loved the down to earth style of Las Palmas by the Sea that we stayed here again this year. Unlike the overly sanitized atmosphere of other resorts, this one is nice and intimate to a point where all the workers get to know us personally by our first name as well as our individually desired favorite specialty drinks and special snacks. Grand Palladium Vallarta: We'll be back... :)

This was our first visit to GP Vallarta and we want to return there again :) Food - great, tasty, fresh, wide selection. Burgers on the beach for lunch or dinner at El Dorado - everything was awesome. Mexican restaurant was our top pick. Compliments to the chef and the team of servers. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Kevin "Costner" is awesome :) Buffet - 10 out of 10! The lady making pizzas is fantastic cook. Always with a smile and a song :) Night shows - amazing, those dancers must have endless pool of energy. But the true STAR is Yesica! Service with the smile every night! :) Activities - non stop action. There's so much to do for everyone. Spa, pools, bar's, beach, tennis, football etc. There's always something happening and everyone is welcome to join in. Try archery with Ali. And follow his instructions :) One last reminder. When packing your sunscreen and swimsuits - don't forget to bring some respect with you. Front desk, service staff, guy blowing leaves or a lady mopping walkways - everyone is working hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible and they deserve utmost respect.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Unforgettable

This was a true five star resort the hotel is amazing, so clean and organized. Food was incredible my 3 year old picky eater was well fed. The beach is white sand clear turquoise waters great for snorkeling. Activites from mini golf to bowling. Free dolphin shows daily at dolphinaris. Shopping mall and market on resort. INCREDIBLE and UNFORGETTABLE

Grand Oasis Cancun: Great all around

I absolutely loved the view from my room. No complaints about the staff either. Nothing is ever perfect but the great aspects vastly outweighs the minor hiccups encountered. Clean beautiful room, friendly staff and well maintained very beautiful resort with a great layout. Would visit again.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Nice clean resort lacking in some departments

The property is beautiful. Rooms, lobby, public washrooms and pool area are clean and inviting. The mosquitos are fast moving and hungry at this time of year so be prepared. We were disappointed that there was barely any shrimp, lobster or crab available. None in the buffet and only a few options at a la cartes for shrimp and they skimp out. Always got what we wanted at other 5 star but this one is lacking. Had to call 2 days to get mini bar service and to get our room service plates picked up a [... read more]s the raccoon like creatures will spread any leftovers all over the floors. A la cartes are nice and buffet has good variety.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Overall a descent family resort

Pros: my “tween” kids had a great time, especially with the animals and sports bar tables. The food and the room was basically good and in line with my experiences from other resorts. Cons: the evening entertainment was insanely loud. Our original room was the closest possible to the theater and on our first exhausted night it seemed 11:00 pm would never come until it was quiet. My request to move the next morning was supposed to be put off for 2 more nights. I endured one more night and  [... read more]practically in tears that next morning begged to be moved immediately. Mercifully, we were moved to a much quieter location for the rest of the week. The drinks were ok and I never had a long line up at any bar. The beach was narrower than I expected, and too rough and rocky to expose the kids to snorkeling.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Amazing!

This resort was well laid out, plenty of space to move about and on the beach. The rooms were clean and the service was amazing. All were very attentive and professional. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to assist.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: A lovely week

This was our first time to Cancun. We are a couple in our 50s, and comfort, good food and great service are high on our list. The Crown Paradise has all that plus a great beach! We loved our view; every room in the hotel has an ocean view. What a difference it made to our mornings, to be able to sit in bed with coffee and a book, and to have that incredible view to enjoy! But there was always coffee in the room as well. We also loved the adult pool, with its sun beds and hot tubs. Excellent service again. Something to keep in mind, though, is that this is very much a family resort. There are lots of activities for kids, and the evening show is earlier than most so the kids can attend. We would have liked some music in the evenings that wasn’t just singers singing to a karaoke track; it’s just not that interesting. I miss the days when it would be a guitarist and a singer, or a small band. We really liked the French restaurant; had amazing service, great food, and tried some Mexican wines, wonderful! It also had a more sophisticated setting, and again, that spectacular view. The beach was gorgeous. We are beach people, and love to walk forever and play in the waves. The sand was perfect, the waves were a little on the wild side but there had been some storms. It was a lot of fun but some people didn’t realize how powerful they can be; two men got caught out in the waves and had to be rescued by the lifeguards. Kudos to those lifeguards; they got out there and brought them back to safety. All in all, we’d go back if we were travelling with family. It was definitely worth every penny.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Resort

We enjoyed the resort, the food selection was amazing in the main buffet. Ala carts were great. Loved the transportation available to take you to the other resorts over the highway. Only issue was closet space for two Women, but we made it work.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Beautiful resort!

Gorgeous grounds and great food! Great concept with the pool spread all over. Bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb Just ok entertainment at night but that’s pretty normal. Price wasn’t cheap but value was ok. Would go again.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Lovely Resort

The grounds were absolutely beautiful- public areas were clean - the room could have been better laid out (needed a desk or sofa table instead of the coffee table between the chairs) - service was top notch & food was delicious!

Last minute vacation to decompress and it was absolutely amazing. Body scrub was just what the doctor ordered and the choices of 4 pools or beach was great. Food was absolutely fabulous and the drinks choices were awesome. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking to have a little quiet time or wanting to go out every night. There are no limits as you can share the other facilities for a variety of activities. Jerrod and Ana were great at keeping us busy at the pool with exercise or games. [... read more] So glad we chose this resort.

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Amazing people and resort

Very well kept grounds and amenities. Great beach access and all the great quality food you can think of, including filet mignon. Staff is amazingly courteous and pleasant. Provide great and secure excursion.

Secrets Huatulco: Our favorite resort in Hualtulco!

The food was great .... we ate breakfast at the buffet and lunch at Castaways mostly but also loved the French restaurant. The staff are friendly and hardworking. The hotel and pools are clean and inviting. We will come again...and again...and again!

El Dorado Royale: Amazing Reaort!

Everything about this resort was incredible! Staff, food, pools and overall atmosphere! Our personal concierge went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome! I have already recommended this resort to all the people I know!
