Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Great Resort! Would Definitely Return!

I booked this hotel last minute "Deal of the Day" so entry level room. I travelled on my own and it was important for me to go to a 5 Star Adults Only Resort. 30 Minute Shuttle from the Airport. Room was ready at check in. Large suite room, top floor overlooking one of the quiet pools. Mini fridge in room. I was in Block 5 which is quite a walk to the main areas which was fine as I like the exercise. Pools. Main pool quite lively and loud. Was there for the first day and ended up at al [... read more]l of the quiet pools for the rest of the week. Very friendly staff EVERYWHERE. Pool bar service exceptional. Never had an issue with getting chairs as long as I wasn't too picky on location. Food was very good and plentiful. Lots of options at buffet which is avail breakfast and lunch only. Mar the greeter was so friendly everyday! Sit down restaurants for evening. Men should bring long pants and closed shoes. Never had an issue with having to wait for dinners either. I tended to eat before 7. Loved the piano in the Bordeux Restaurant. Service hit and miss there. Bars were really well located and the best of any resorts I've been too. Brendi at the Veranda Bar provided exceptional service. Beach wasn't anything to write home about. Lots of seaweed and sandbags to preserve the beach. If you aren't too picky about it you will be fine. Lots of lounge chairs there. Cesar/Masseuse at the Spa was great. Enjoyed the yoga most mornings. Never got to the bike tours. Lots of activities you can join into. Would definitely recommend going and I would go back if the price is right.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great experience!

No complaint's. Checked off all our boxes. Food: Good. Staff:Good. Resort: Amazing Rooms: Good. Overall we had a great time and if we decide to come to Mexico again the Grand Bahia Principe would be our first and only choice.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Huge resort to cover, falls slightly short on deciphering the goods of 5 star luxury.

The hotel itself is pretty grand. Beaches are a disappointment, food could have more flavour and zest. A la carte meals were much better. The Medeterrian and Japanese restaurant are a must to try. A/c in the room wasn't working as expected.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Amazing resort!!

We recently got back from 7 days at the Azul Fives Resort and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The resort grounds, staff, service, food, pools - were second to none. Absolutely amazing. The beach was beautiful too however quite rocky and wavy, especially for our toddler but it wouldn't deter us from coming back in a heartbeat!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Wonderful Vacation

We just returned from this resort on April 10th. It was a very nice vacation. We travel to the Mayan almost every year and have been to several resorts. The property is very clean and the rooms we amazing. We were upgraded upon our arrival to a bigger room which was nice. They did an amazing job everyday cleaning the room and putting clean supplies in. The transportation between the resorts was timely and never really had to wait. Food was great with lots of choices. We ate at a la carte e [... read more]very night which we booked on arrival. Our butler Fausto helped us with a few needs we had right away. Miriam at the breakfast buffet looked after us every morning and was very quick to remember all the little things we were looking for. Near the end of the week they set up breakfast outside which we loved. The other staff member that needs special mention is Oscar one of the managers. He was very helpful and attentive to all the guests. I would definitely return to this resort.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Great Resort

This is our first time at this resort thanks to Michelle Turco, Trip Central and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was good - we ate mostly at the A La Carte restaurants - Italian was my favourite - Mexican not so much! The grounds and pools were very maintained, the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was good but the tub needed some work due to mold around the edges. The buffet was also good for breakfast as well as the Rancho Grande for lunch. The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Amazing resort!

I can't begin to express the amazing time we had at this resort..started with the effortless check-in to the service from the staff from all the restaurants, and servers from the pool and beach. I would recommend this resort to anyone, I will not hesitate to return.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great resort

This is our 3rd visit to this resort. The only change is the addition of the adult area, otherwise the resort is same as in the past. We think this a great resort and will be returning to ( Akumal) again.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: amazing place

the staff the grounds the food every thing is great about this place. if you like small intimate places this is the place . after a couple of days you start to know the staff by name. everyone goes out of there way to say hello

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Fun resort!!

The resort was awesome but would have been better if it had a swim-up bar! Staff was very friendly there was no disco at night however the swing bar/ black and white bar and they have a beach party were all great additions instead that keeps it different. :)

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Another amazing stay at the Valentin

This was our third visit to this resort and it was amazing just as the first visit was. Each time we visit we find they are always changing/improving the resort. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and impeccable. The food is very good and they offer premium alcohol. I can't say enough about the staff. Starting from the conceirge to bell boys, waiters, grounds keepers, entertainment staff, cooks, hostesses, cleaning staff. I commend them on how attentive they are to every detail. I would highly reccomend this resort.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Beautiful, relaxing resort.

The hotel was beautiful. I have stayed at other all-inclusive resorts and have not been up to the same level as this hotel. The staff were very friendly. It was nice to have cart service throughout the resort. The pool was clean. There were many chairs so there was never a problem to find an area to sit and relax poolside and as well on the beach. Rooms were lovely, spacious and very clean and well maintained, Buffet meals were delicious plentiful, and there was a wide variety of food. The grounds were well maintained and very clean. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, Pools were very clean Beach was nice only complaint was that you couldn't swim because of the rocks

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Great holiday!

Hotel was wonderful. Great food and service. Very clean and well kept. Kids club and kids pool including Daisey snack bar were so conveniently situated near our rooms and beachfront that we could really relax with everything close by. Would definitely return.

Grand Riviera Princess: Very nice resort

It is amazing complex of architecture, start from lobby area,no all alcohol is in all Includive, have to pay for it. Swimming pools are absolutely gorgeous,very good maintain landscaping, loved to walk around,food was good, very friendly people ,who work to make this resort so good. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Amazing week

Just returned from a week at Sandos Caracol. I actually cried when I left I had such a good time! I religiously read all the reviews on here in the weeks before we left, picking apart each one and sometimes getting worried that we weren't going to enjoy ourselves due to some of the negative ones. Every single worry I had was unnecessary. My partner and I traveled as a couple, 29 and 31. I had some worries that we couldn't get a reservation in the adults only part of the hotel, the thou [... read more]ght of being surrounded in kids all week was not appealing to me at all! I really did not feel like we were missing out on much from not being able to enter the adults only places, we also love the beach and the kids seemed to mainly be in the pools, so our trip was not worsened in the slightest by the number of kids around. Another concern we had, due to the reviews on here, were long lines at check in and check out. Both check in and check out were completely smooth for us. Both took less than 5 minutes. Our bus driver actually lost our bag between the airport and the resort when we arrived, concierge were so helpful, tracked down the bag and we had it within 30 minutes of arrival, which was a huge relief. Some other concerns I had, due to tripadvisor reviews were; "Lots of Walking" - We did get very lucky with the location of our room - the "2203" building was right inbetween the beach, pools, aquapark and close to the restaurants. Honestly, I wouldn't have cared if we were the furthest end of the resort, the walking is easy, it's really not far to get anywhere and the jungle and animals keep you entertained during the walk. "Hard beds" - I don't know if we got lucky with our mattress - it was spotless - perhaps brand new - but it was comfier than the bed I have at home! I slept amazingly every night. "Unfriendly Staff" - I cannot believe anyone who writes this, the staff work so so hard and smile the whole time. We didn't come across any rude staff at all. "Below average food" - I ate somewhere different every night, I am vegetarian and my partner is very fussy. We loved all the food we ate. Salvia restaurant was incredible, the food was really different and authentic. I am biassed as it is a vegan restaurant, but even my vegetable hating partner loved it, and requested we return the next night so he could try more things on the menu! Juan, Jose and Daniel are great waiters. For some reason this restaurant never had a line up outside, I think a lot of people are missing out for fear of vegetables. I would come back to this resort for this restaurant alone. "Not enough staff" - I see a lot of complaints about not having enough staff - isn't this reason enough to tip the ones there well, they're often doing the job of 3 people. Yes it's almost impossible to get waitress service at the beach or pool like you may get in a 5*, but line up and get yourself a drink at the bar, I don't see how a 30 second wait at the bar is a problem. "The beach is terrible" - You gotta be some sort of lazy not to walk less than 250m to the left of the beach to find an idyllic white sand beach, no rocks and wooden jetty! I have no sympathy for those who could not be bothered to look. There is some sea weed at the beach, no big deal, that's nature! If you don't like sea weed, stick to the pool. "Hounded by timeshare" - I don't know if it's because we're younger and perhaps look like we can't afford a time share, but not one person hassled us the entire time we were at the resort. "Rooms are tired" - honestly, the room we had was the cheapest, standard option. It's not a 5* room, but I never expected it to be, nor did I ever read the resort marketing themselves as a 5* location. It's an eco resort and I like the fact that not every piece of furniture is removed and disposed of when it's looking a little tired. The room does it's job, I really don't spend much time in it during my holiday. The aircon worked great, there was plenty of hangers for our clothes and we ALWAYS had hot water in the bathroom! There were so many activities to do in the day, we took some excursions we had booked outside of the resort on 2 of the days, but in the remaining 5 we had plenty to do on the resort, snorkeling the Jade River & cenotes, wildlife spotting, playing tennis, taking a bike ride around the resort, watching the shows & even the water park was fun, just remember to keep your arms crossed on the slides, I tried to slow myself down and smashed my elbows on day 1 and had to live with the nasty looking bruises all week - my fault! Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful Resort Sian Kaan Maya

We booked this resort duration of 6 night. Wife was very impressed and we request for an upgrade to the Penthouse suite. The staffs and ground staffs were friendly. Foods was excellent. Only disappointment was the hot tub Jacuzzi that has not much of a privacy. One could actually see the next neighbor. Other than that we really enjoyed our stayed.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Not what we expected

We booked this resort knowing that it was new and would have some kinks. I can say it was on my least favorite list and I personally wouldn't return. Excellence Riviera Cancun: AMAZING!!!

We have never been anywhere south so we have nothing to compare to but we were so overwhelmed and impressed on the first day. The staff truly are amazing. They go out of their way to talk to u and make sure your stay is excellent. Their entertainment was great too. The activity staff never stops, they were always putting something on for the guests. Our room was always spotless. My only complaint was for a luxury hotel the towels were pretty tough feeling in the rooms and the bed was hard but th [... read more]ats minor. The grounds were always kept so clean. We would definitely go back to this resort and recommend to anyone going to Mexico. It's close to the airport so you are not wasting time traveling and the staff really do make you feel like royalty. Food was great too. The only restaurant we were not a fan of was the lobster house a and that is only because we are from Atlantic Canada and seafood is our thing and this was a different taste. But overall LOVED IT and miss it already!!
