Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Fantastic resort and service!

Majestic Elegance, Elegance Club (adults only side) was one of the best resorts we've stayed at in Punta Cana! We've been vacationing in the DR for many years and loved this resort! The Elegance Service check in was quick and easy, we got into our room right away and our building was closest to the beach. There was no shortage of things to do and the staff and service was impeccable. The room was large, the cleaning staff superb and the resort grounds were beautifully manicured. The Sea and See [... read more] breakfast and lunch buffet was all you need and the a la carte restaurants provided nice alternatives to main buffet with wonderful friendly servers. Highly recommend this resort! We loved the lobby bar and the servers were both entertaining and very nice. Top shelf!

Grand Palladium Palace: Great Resort !

We were very pleased from the moment we arrived to the Grand Pladium Palace .The staff was extremely warm and friendly . Although our room was not ready when we arrived we were advised of which restaurants we could go to and our luggage was well taken of . Very shortly after our room was ready and we were very pleased .The room was as exactly shown online and very clean . The resort accommodated our requests to be close to the pool and beach . Riu Republica: Vacation Oasis!

I recently stayed at Riu Republica for 5 nights. This was my very first ever vacation out of my country, very first all inclusive resort. Best time ever, great food, great service, will certainly return!!

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: The perfect holiday

Beautiful resort with friendly, attentive staff. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. There were an abundance of dining and beverage options each with service that went above and beyond. The best a la care dining I've had at any resort. The Club upgrade is worth every cent, from the VIP lounge, private swmiming pools to the Butler and Room Service it was nothing but first class service. Outstanding property in every way.

Occidental Punta Cana: Occidental Grand,Punta Cana D.R.

Dissapointed that room requested...Ground Floor, Ocean Front,2 beds,turned in to3rd floor room with 1 king bed.We were promised that we would be moved the next day.An appointment was made for2:00 p.m.Some time later we were contacted and told they would be there at 4:00 o'clock.That time came and went and no one came.We decided we we're' the going to spend our holiday waiting for someone to come .We found out we were far from the only people promised rooms we didn't get. Now Garden Punta Cana: Love this resort❤️

We stayed at Now Garden. Very small and quiet but great food and staff all were very nice. Took 1 minute shuttle over to Larimar for beach and restaurants. Food was amazing at these restaurants and like that you don't have to have reservations. Only thing we didn't like were the exclusive members approach. Didn't know anything about it and were kicked off beach the first day we were there as you have to be a member. We moved 10 feet down the beach. This was a joke. Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Super Amazing Trip!!!!

what a WOW place!!! the grounds are beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, the food was fantastic, and the best part of the trip....... the staff!!! So many amazing smiles!!!! I would definitely recommend the Royalton Chic to anyone interested in traveling!!!!!

Ocean Blue and Sand: Fantastic Resort

Beautiful resort and amazing staff, beach,pools and food were incredible and loved the idea of no reservations required for a`la carte restaurants. Our room was spotless everyday thanks to our maid Francesca who was very friendly and lovely to talk with .Theatre shows could use some work . Definitely a 4.5 star resort .

Occidental Punta Cana: Nice resort

Food needs improvement house keeping is slow. Need more speaking English. The resort is beautiful over all. The beach could be more groomed. I don't think I would go back. The hotel is very nice. The shows were really good. Drinks well you know.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: A nice four-day getaway

The grounds were well kept at this resort. We loved the fact that it was smaller - felt more intimate and not so much walking to do to get everywhere. Pools were beautiful and beach area was too. Would have liked the restaurants to be open for lunch too for more variety, but the buffet was good for lunch.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Like going home

This is not our first stay at the Barcelo Palace in Punta Cana. We go there because we need to rest and relax . The rooms are always clean, food always wonderful and the staff are lovely. Next year we will be going back but for longer. We love our Dominican Palace, it's like going home

Riu Republica: Garden view rooms are not garden view

I was very disappointed that I was put into a room that overlooked the laundry facilities of the hotel next door, plus there was always a loud generator sound. It was not pleasant sitting on the balcony and I continuously left my curtains shut. Two of the friends I was travelling with also had the same experience. They 'haggled' with the front desk (wasted a 1/2 a day) and they were moved to a much nicer location. I didn't want to waste a beautiful sunny day negotiating so just stayed put for th [... read more]e week. On the positive side, the maids did a great job! I enjoyed the food and was happy not to have to make reservations. The wine was the worst I have ever had and I have been to several resorts. I only drink wine so this was another big disappointment. I could hardly wait to get back to have a nice glass of cabernet-merlot. Had I of known, I would have purchased some at duty-free. An improvement could be made in expanding the number of washrooms in the public areas (especially by the pool) -- three is not enough for the ladies and there was always a line-up. The dining room staff were excellent when we were first seated but never came back to see if we needed refills on our water, etc, and we are generous tippers. We always had to flag someone down. They were great at the a la carte. We loved the entertainment staff. I sure hope this helps to make improvements for others travelling to the Riu Republica. I, unfortunately, will never book there again.

Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Great hotel

The hotel was beautiful and the beach was nice except the water was rough and the service was terrible. They were booked to capacity and I think they couldn't handle it. The restaurant were nice but there was not enough staff and it was very slow. We went to the character breakfast and the kids enjoyed it but it was not worth paying for (ours was included)

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Impressive resort run by impressive staff

Just returned from 8 days at Chic Punta Cana. We had an amazing time while there, mostly due to the amazing service from the friendly staff at Chic. They are genuine in their desire to make your experience a memorable one for the right reasons. The few issues we had at the start of our stay were quickly remedied. The staff work hard to ensure you have all you need but mostly that you are really enjoying yourself. It's all about the customer experience and it shows. We were approached and asked if we wanted to partake in a presentation once, declined and we're not approached again. You politely decline and they politely accept. It did not once overshadow the wonderful time we spent at this resort. The food was top notch and the variety of restaurants was great. Special shout out to our butler Jose in building 4 for his undying attention as well as our beach servers Maribi and Yafresi who went beyond when Bob celebrated a birthday while there. The front desk manager Gustavo Lora took a personal interest to ensure our stay was comfortable. Amazing warm, friendly and genuine staff!

Riu Palace Macao: Awesome resort!

Excellent service, great food, awesome bartenders, very clean, smaller resort but was great, less walking for dinner, wonderful beach area. All workers were very very friendly and most of them spoke English.

Riu Republica: Great

Hard to find fault with this resort. Food and service was great. Very nice beach. Only slight fault was higher winds made swimming in ocean difficult. Would recommend this resort to anyone. Good value for your dollar

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Amazing Resort

Beautiful Resort with very hard working staff. Our butler Roldon was very attentive to us and the entertainment staff were superb in keeping the guests engaged and having fun from the nightly shows to anywhere throughout the Resort at all times during your day. This was our 3rd visit and we will definitely be returning. Also love that we can now fly (almost) direct from our city! Would recommend The Majestic Colonial Club to all my friends and family.

VIK Hotel Arena Blanca: 5 star

Hotel Vik The grounds and hotel were impeccable the food and variety was amazing the pool was massive and cleaned regularly the washrooms were nice and cleaned several times a day the resort was smaller but was just what we were looking for.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Great resort.. BUT

Beach was amazing. Pool was good but very cold and very limited chairs/seating. Restaurants were great and excellent service. The only major problem was the amount of up-selling/soliciting you receive on a constant basis. It used to be just vendors/locals who ask you to buy different items now the resort itself is always trying to solicit. It seems like every 10 minutes you get approached to buy an excursion or water sports package. Directly infront of the buffet is a table where aggressive sa [... read more]les people try to get you to meet with them regarding their 'vacation club'. At night time, there are jewelry/art vendors right on the high traffic paths aggressively trying to sell you merchandise. I felt like a walking dollar sign the entire week. No one seemed to understand that you've ALREADY paid thousands of dollar just to be at the resort..

Occidental Punta Cana: Great hotel!

I just got back from one week holiday, March 1st to March 8th, I had a great room building #26, renovated room, pool view and to the right the beach! The food was good, there's something for everyone, I really like the Mexican A La Carte, I didn't like the Italian, I had chicken parmesan which was deep fried, I'm use to being baked but I heard lots of people were having steak there and it was good. I did try the Steakhouse, I like my steak well done or pink, I had to send it back it was runny bl [... read more]ood. I didn't try the Oriental and the Seafood, I heard good thing about it. I didn't find the service that great. I had a wonderful time it was very clean and safe. One thing would of been nice is to be able to go to the gym anytime, we had to wait until 8:00 a.m. for the guy to open it, would of been better if we could of use our key card.
