We went with a group of 30 Plus had a lots of funt was pritty amazed with the food and how the ground was taken care with the flowers and trees was well kept the staff and ground keeper was easy to get along with

Good Resort

We requested an adjoining room next to our parents, we didn't get it. The A/C on our floor broke down and wasn't fixed until our last day. We were told we'd have wifi in our rooms and there wasn't. Not overly impressed

Beautiful Resort!

Overall, the resort was awesome, a couple knocks against it would be the restaurants, you almost need to book before you go because there were never any openings. Buffets were good, but get old quick. Not to sound cheap, but the tipping got a little out of hand, we paid good money to go to a 5-star resort, I'd spend a little more and go to a Sandals and likely end up spending the same amount of money.

Amazing Amazing Amazing Resort!!!

We had the time of our life at this resort! Everything was perfect! We enjoyed the food, cleanliness of the room, as well as the entire hotel. The grounds were clean and well kept. The staff was friendly in all areas of service! We will go back!!!

Loved it!!!

I absolutely loved this resort! Hotel, pool, ocean and resort grounds were all awesome the food was great! If I had to complain about something it would say there could be alittle more food options at the night time burger joint they only have hotdogs and hamburgers.

Beautiful resort and amazing people!

The overall impression was great!! The staff were super friendly, the hotel was impeccably clean and our room was big and spacious. The beach was really nice I just wish it was bigger. I liked the pool entertainment and music. It always made for a great afternoon.

Top Quality Resort!

This resort is very nice. It has all the main qualities you look for in a break from work and the cold. The grounds are very beautiful and well maintained. the beach is gorgeous with clean and warm water to swim in. the rooms are nice with great views and very clean. The food is amazing and the buffet has all you need with first rate service and variety. The restauants are great and especially the Japanese one. Good a great deal and dont hesitate on this one. Its a great vacation.

Would not go back

Though the staff were friendly they were indifferent to the needs of guests. Towels and face clothes were limited or none ecistant. Great jerk chicken at the jerk chicken bar but every time we went there we had to wait for either cutlery or plates or both. The pool didn't have steps into it unless you belonged to the privileged club, not great for someone with limited mobility. Very Nice Resort!

The grounds, rooms, dining facilities were all exceptional. The Italian a la carte, was the best! must try the coffee cart! We had the upgrade bracelet, so the a la cartes wee booked for us, no line ups, however we die change the times. We also found if we had a late dinner, say 9:00, we were able to go to the restaurant early and were able to get right in. The pool was wonderful, as well as the staff were very friendly. The only thing we didn't care for, was the beach area right in front of the hotel; it was quite gravelly, and not at all to our liking. However, a short walk out to the left of the hotel, was their great beach, the beach massage area, as well as the beach restaurant - yummy jerk chicken! and a howling cook - fun stuff!

Beautiful resort , but no air conditioning

We had a room that had room with a malfuncting air conditioning problem, they wouldn't move us and so we laid on top of our sheets until we passed out! We had a basket of fruit delivered , but our "crazy" maid threw it out!

Very nice

The resort is very nice. The food tasted good and there was a good selection of food. The rooms were clean and very nice. A few hot water problems, but as long as you weren't to picky about shower time it wasn't a big deal. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Because had nearly enough spots for everyone to sit, but the sand was nothing special. Nothing was close so I wouldn't suggest it for people who don't like to walk. The water was good to play in especially on the far left beach. We felt safe at the resort and nothing got stolen. If you have the money I'd suggest you book a private shuttle, Just worth it! Perfect spring getaway

First time in Jamaica this past March at the Grand Bahia Principe and wouldn't change a thing about this experience! From the shuttle ride to the poolside bars and even the store vendors, the service was impeccable! The quality and variety of food was endless and rooms were always clean. Only one complaint but minor in my opinion; the bell men upon arrival to the resort were MIA and I ended up dragging our luggage to our room. Beautiful Jamaica

Overall we were pleased with our stay. However I would not return for a few reasons. The man made beach was very disappointing and the rooms (especially the bathrooms) were run down. The staff were awesome and friendly. I would definitely go back to Jamaica, just not this particular resort.

Jamaican Excellence!

Great Jamaican hospitality, This resort offer amazing location, good beaches and delicious food. Although property is huge in size yet very well maintained and managed. Superior drinks selection and cleanliness around is added bonus. Must visit places are Water Falls, Luminous lake and Ricks cafe in Negril.

Not Really a 4/1/2 Hotel

This was our second visit there and I feel it is loosing ground overall.We request a block of the hotel where we wished to stay . The hotel did exactly the opposite of our wishes.Then told us that the room we wanted was an up grade.According to the website this was not so.The large beach they have was nice but has very sharp hidden rocks in the water. The food overall was good .But very very aware of a group who will try to sell you something. Very pleasant resort to vacation at

the hotel was very nice, had a hard time getting clean towelsand face cloths, had to call everyday to get them, but other than that everything was good. Pool was very nice and clean. did not like the fact that at night you had to walk outside to go to the entertainment.

3 stars resort

No wifi, small beach, bad alcohol, the pool are great... It was ok, no more then that, everything was ok, nothing was amazing, I will not recommend it to my friends... 1 and a half hour from the airport!!

Nice resort.

I visited this property in November 2013. The hotel was very large but clean and well maintained. The food was very good. A la carte restaurants were excellent with very good service. The buffet was very busy as this is a very large resort, so often ran out of the more popular things. The pool was well maintained and clean as well. My only negative comment would be that the flooring in and around the resort grounds is marble which is very beautiful but "extremely" slippery when wet, which was of [... read more]ten the case since it rained a little each day. I had several close calls. Make sure you take footwear with good tread including your pool wear/sandals.

GOOD !

The Hotel was pretty neat for the most part. The food was AMAZING ! we went for the beach and it was Beautiful! ! ! The only Downfall was the club that was in the entertainment area, it was pretty much emtpy almost all of the time. There was a funky ordor and felt quite stuffy ! other than that all the staff for VERY FRIENDLY AND WERE THERE TO HELP ANYTIME WE NEEDED. Amazing Resort

We travelled as a group of 5, all of us being 25-28, we had a fabulous You can't beat their jerk chicken (available daily on the beach). Their beach is a great size, not over crowded. And you can always find a spot at the pool.
