Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Amazing resort,amazing people!!

I was so sceptical about booking because I was unsure what to expect based on reviews;however, from the moment we got to the resort we were not disappointed with our choice. From the service to the food to the cleanliness , all around amazing experience!! Head to the adult Coral bar and get a drink from Rodney, he is a phenomenol bartender , such a kind soul!! Everyone made you feel right at home and so welcome, the customer service is on point. We will definitely be returning!!!

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Lovely resort, great staff

Our first experience with the Palladium resort chain last year in Mexico was very positive and based on that first experience we chose the Palladium in the Dominion Republic and were not disappointed. The grounds are lovely, beach great, rooms generous in size and clean. Staff were wonderful. Our overall eating experience was 4 star in terms of the variety of food, preparation and presentation. The overall atmosphere of the facility was relaxed. My one slightly negative comment is th [... read more]at as a family of 9, aged 17-76 who travel once a year to reconnect and enjoy each other's company and have dinner every night together.at a time of our choice isn't possible.. I would like to see groups of this size at least be given some leeway with regard to the timing for meals. We had no choice but to eat each evening at 6 pm. We didn't mind that a couple of nights but we would have preferred to eat later a few nights as well. This was not possible. That said, we did not let that temper our vacation.

Grand Palladium Palace: My review

The hotel and ground were perfect. The staff at the hotel were very nice and so helpful. Diffently go back in the future. The only downfall was it rained one day. All in all it was a perfect holiday.:)

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Awesome resort

Everything was great at this resort..beautiful beaches and the grounds are well maintained. There are plenty of restaurants and the buffets ...well there is everything ...including fruit loops . No one can say they can't find something to eat. They have assorted dishes and meats, fruit, breads.ect.. The staff at the resort are the most friendly that I've ever met at a resort.They sing and dance almost always which gives you this welcome happy feeling. Rooms are spacious, cleaned daily. There are 3 large pools, one has a pirates ship, slides for the kids, they also have a huge castle which is a daycare centre. There is also a casino, meringue hall Different shows nightly and another hall that has a Micheal Jackson performance. I definitely would go back to this resort. This resort is super clean and friendly.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: grand palladium Feb 6 /15 2017

The hotel was fantastic . The food, the rooms every thing was as a 5 star hotel should be. The ala carte were fantastic, enjoyed the steak house the most. The only small complaint were the amount of stairs .If your a senior or have any mobility issues then stay else were. I lost count of the times helping people with baby buggies . There are no elevators the resort is about 50 min from Vallarta with little or no buses .

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Awesome!

We just got back from the Lady Hamilton and we had an amazing week. Didn't want to leave! Great resort, huge resort which we liked. Gives you time to walk off your meal from one of the La carts. 7 to choice from so you always had something new to choice from. The pool is massive and very nice! We spent most of are time on the Sunset cove beach. We loved it! Calm and clear water with an awesome view. There's so much to do at this resort I could easy see spending two weeks here. TRS Turquesa: A week in Paradise at the Royal Suites Turquesa by Palldium

Our vacation got off to a slow start as our Transat flight was delayed for several hours due to a mechanical issue with the plane. We were however pleasantly surprised on our arrival with our Junior Deluxe Suite at the Royal Suites Turquesa by Palladium. The room was spacious, clean and elegant. The room was even nicer than the photos showed. The rooms however are showing age, and we experienced several problems with our first room and had to request a different room. On our first night there, I [... read more] got an electric shock from touching the vanity mirror which had a light built into it. The mirror was right beside the shower which had a door that wasn't watertight, so water would puddle on the marble floor with every shower. Had I been standing in water at the time of the shock, I might not be here typing this as it was 120v shock. The thermostat for the AC was also not working so it was either bitterly cold in the room or hot and humid if we shut if down. When we did shut it down, the condensation built up in the ceiling tiles and would later drip down into the room. The locking mechanism in the room safe was also finicky and sometimes the bolts would not slide, and might take 10 or 15 tries to get the safe locked. The DVD player also didn't work and although they promised a supply of DVD movies at the Concierge's desk for our use, there weren't any available until our 3rd day, which was when we discovered the DVD player didn't work anyway. After 3 days of working with the concierge and maintenance, without success, we asked for a new room and they did find us one and actually upgraded us into an even larger room. All of the staff were amazing. The butlers assigned to our Villas only work from 7am until 11pm but we arrived after 2am and our butler (Felix) was still there waiting for us and helped us to our room in Villa 54. The waiters and waitresses were amazing, friendly and although we only did a bit of tipping at this All inclusive resort, none of them held there hand out or lingered in the hope of getting a tip. The staff was plentiful and all were genuinely pleased to assist and make our stay pleasant. Even the bartending service on the beach was prompt and top notch. There are lots of theme restaurants like the Bohio Seafood restaurant, the Rodiziio which is Brazilian, Italian etc but our favorite was the Japanese restaurant. It was a Hitachi restaurant and our Chef "Andy" put on a wonderful show for us. There was daily security on the beach however I did not see any security on the beach after dark. We spent most our day either at the beach or the swim up bar and found the bartenders "Yanet, Cristian and Michael" were amazing. They were so friendly, polite and entertaining and made amazing cocktails. I would definitely go back to this resort. I would rate it overall as a 4 1/2. Although there were a lot of problems with our initial room, it didn't detract from our vacation as all of the staff were very accommodating and determined to make things right. One concern I have and want to send the flag out to future travelers to this Palladium resort is to use caution when purchasing bottles of their Mama Juana liquor. It's a delicious honey and rum drink and we bought a couple of bottles of it to bring home. The bottle cap has a straw hat glued over it which made it a perfect disguise to hide the fact that our bottles had been tampered with. All of our seals had been broken, the contents removed and refilled with water. These bottles can be purchased anywhere in the Dominican. I've seen them at the beach front gift shops and on our off-resort excursion but I purchased my bottle of Mama Juana rum from the gift shop in the "Supermarket" located right in our resort. So, heads up for any missing seal rings on the bottle caps. Otherwise, it was an amazing resort, the weather from Feb 4 to 11th was perfect with only a bit of rain during a couple of nights but sunny each and every day.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Something for everyone!!

We loved our week at the Lady Hamilton !!! The service was exceptional, the resort was clean and beautifully landscaped. There's a variety of things to do there so no one in our group was ever restless or bored . We did not travel with children, but this reaort is definitely family-friendly ! We were very impressed with the Lady Hamilton staff , they all seemed genuinely happy and friendly and made us feel very special ! Grand Palladium Vallarta: Excellent resort!

This resort was quite nice, and set up excellent for families. Perks- -loads of activities for the kids (we have pre teen boys age 12/13) -staff gets everyone involved in fun & games -lots of relaxing for parents. -the spa -the staff, bell boys carried our luggage up three flights of stairs! No matter what you're after there's both here. Surfing, boogie boards, sup boards, volley ball, water games. Or just a lounger and amazing sunshine. TRS Turquesa: Just returned from Royal Suites by Turquesa

The beach is absolutely beautiful! We took a 45 minute walk every every morning. Delores does an amazing job serving the entire Royal beach! Although she works non-stop, on sunny days when the beach was busier she could have clearly used some help. If you have kids the water is a bit rough for them to play and would have to be very closely supervised. Lots of shade and sun available. Service is good, but language is a huge barrier. They barely speak English so do not go 'off script' as it ma [... read more]y seem that they are rude but they simply do NOT understand. 'Butler service' was included for us. Our butler Carlos was practically non-existent! He almost seemed annoyed when we asked him if he could book our reservations at the Steakhouse-to which he responded that we could not get a reservation because ALL Americans like steak? Not sure what he meant by that?! We later learned from another vacationer that the steakhouse was first-come-first-serve - and we simply walked in. Food: We really enjoyed the French restaurant for dinner. Fondue was amazing! Brazilian restaurant was just Ok and the steakhouse was very disappointing. The seafood, Mexican, and Spanish restaurants were good. The buffets were the typical all inclusive (even the Royal buffet). There was a good selection of drinks and they were quite good! It rained on Valentine's Day, so we decided to spend a few hours at the spa and used the facilities. It's free when staying at the Royal suites. We used the hot tub, steam room, sauna, even did a 'mud bath'. Lots of beds, towels and even its own healthy snack bar. No alcoholic drinks are served there. The property is spotless. They are always sweeping and mopping.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Resort was fine food above average, service was average, did not like timeshare pitch

Fair won't go back to far from town. Ended up buying the travel membership trying to cancel. Had conference call to resolve. Pitched me again. Customer service was hit and miss. Alcohol seemed watered down. Pushed for tips on every transaction. Signed up for imperial service never used because shop would not accept.

TRS Turquesa: Awesome Resort!

This was our 3rd visit and it was just as wonderful as the first! The beach, staff and food were all that we expected and more. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a nice laid back place with a large selection of restaurants and awesome service.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Great Vacation for a family!

Great location! One of my big worries on an all inclusive (other than hoping to get good weather) is "Will it be too crowded?" Our trip was Feb 5 - 12, and there was ZERO overcrowding! No trouble getting a spot around the pool or at the beach any time of day. Food was both good and bad: Breakfast - Terrific buffet! Lunch - Decent quality and variety but ONLY buffet options - would be nice to have some a la carte lunches. Dinner - All fantastic. Accommodations were very nice,  [... read more]but starting to show a little bit of age. A little to over the top with the presentation / pressure to join the vacation club.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Beautiful beaches!

My mom and I really enjoyed this resort, a little too big for our needs but quite impressive grounds and rooms were lovely. We also really liked the food and buffets. The beaches immaculate! Also, we went to the spa, which was a great experience. We came back feeling very refreshed!

TRS Turquesa: Disappointing

Pros: location and proximity to airport. Wide variety of a la cartes restaurants. Cons: constantly bombarded by in house vendors for massages and time shares to resort. Drivers of shuttles on resort go WAY too fast in all areas of resort. In need of renovations.

TRS Turquesa: Royal Suites Turquesa

The grounds were impeccable, the food was great and we had a great time! The only annoying thing that we found, was everytime we went to a restaurant, there were people trying to sell us stuff, spa, etc.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Incredible Resort

Just got back a few weeks ago from this resort and I can honestly say it is the nicest resort I have ever been to. We went with a group of friends and we all agreed we would go back! Very clean from the rooms to the grounds, excellent choice of foods from the buffets to the 8 (or more?) a la cartes. Beautiful beaches and pools including a salt water pool off the ocean in which you can swim with the fish! The booze was all premium name brands at all the bars (no cheap knock off brands). The one pool at Kantenah is about 5'6 deep which was odd...I had to piggyback my wife to the swimup bar all the time lol. Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great resort , very good staff

I thought this was an awesome resort , the staff were very accommodating. Good mix of pools and beaches, restaurants and bars, a nice addition would be a morning coffee station at the Coral pool to service the Lady Hamilton end. Also a place for snacks at the Lady Hamilton end would be a nice addition as well

It's a great resort. A little bit like paradise. A lot of different restaurants with great menu's. Less to complain about. If they try to fix the issue immediately. Sometimes a bit unorganized but I think that's Dominican Republic lol.

TRS Turquesa: Great Holiday

Beautiful hotel and grounds with the nicest beach - lots of palm trees and palm umbrellas for shade if wanted - the room was beautiful and very well kept by housekeeping - and having the swim up pool was a great treat! Staff were for the most part very friendly and helpful Food was typical for the Caribbean - service in the restaurants was spotty - you could be waited on by the minute or wait a long time for your table to be cleaned from the previous occupants.
