Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Great resort!

The hotel room was very spacious and clean. The fridge was regularly stocked and towels replenished. The grounds were well kept. The buffet was very good and there was a nice variety of Ala Cartes that we could book pre-trip.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Won't go back

Grounds were lovely. Very poorly run hotel. We were Sun Club ...ment nothing. Got seats at the pool once ,at 4 in the afternoon. The lack of band and not having to book for The restaurants and lining up for ages was an epic fail.

Playabachata Hotel: Good

The food was some of the best food I have had in Dominican! Staff are very nice and helpful. However I do think they need to fix up the pool and get some new chairs. Also the resort is very large and holds a lot of guests but there is not enough room for everyone at the pool, lobby, theatre or in the buffet. You have to wait in a line of 20 people every morning and night for certain foods, and they run out of some foods as hours pass.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE

The room was fabulous. Buffet had lots of variety. Staff were friendly. Pool aquafit excellent as well as game activities! Mexican restaurant good, others difficult to figure app & you had to pay $50 American which surprised us so we didnt go. Excursions of monkeys & four wheelers great but bus switching confusing.

Emotions by Hodelpa Puerto Plata: A nice resort!

Liked the resort is smaller. Food was adequate, rooms could have been cleaner, like they need a good deep clean. Elevators not working so when carrying luggage it was a bit problematic. Overall a nice resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Wonderful resort

The place is very luxurious from beginning to end. The location on south shore is one of the best things about it. A great beach area. The buffet is quite good but beware that all buffets suffer the same hum-drum-ness. The ala carte restaurants are tremendous but book as soon as you can, they get booked up.

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Definitely Not 5 Star

Upon check in, we were told that our mini fridge would only contain 1 bottle of water. No pop or complimentary beer. We were also told that only 2 of the advertised restaurants were open, both of which served shellfish mostly that I am extremely allergic to. There was no poolside service (no one to offer drinks or pick up our empty glasses). Same with the buffet...I would sit down but wouldn't be offered water or coffee until I was almost done with my meal. A few nights i was served RAW chicken [... read more] breast and fish. Not just undercooked, but raw. No beach bar. No daytime entertainment of any kind or any sports. Night time entertainment was usually just a live local singer for a couple hours only. No dancers or anything. Resort is 18+ but it was really 70+. Our room had a nice view but it was right next to the main road so we could see cars and constant exhaust and racing. Very hard to nap. Beach is stunning, water is crystal clear with no seaweed or rocks. That was probably the best part.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Good week at the resort but the weather should be better the week after we left.

The main hotel lobby reception area is located in the middle and you have the differents stylish buildings around it where the rooms are located. The theatre is very close to the lobby and the buffet and the bar outside. They keep the place clean. The workers are quick at cleaning the tables and serving us coffee and water. The omelette cooks are very quick and are good at mastering/juggling the omelettes preferences of the guests. The food was good. We did not get sick, ( we don't drink muc [... read more]h). The live music band (one night) was very very good. The others nights they had karaoke, silent disco and some good dance performers.They had the super bowl party viewing on the giant screen in the theatre outside. We had few sunny days and some rain but it's the same everywhere (climate change). The resort does not have elevators but after few days of climbing three floors, my heart rate improved, I was less breathless the last days. It was a good exercise but it makes it a little harder when you take your luggage down when you leave. You can also ask the porters to come and help you. In general, it was a good week and we were happy with our choice.

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: Beautiful beach and pool

Nice hotel located close to beach. The beach was well groomed. The pool area had plenty of tables and chairs and the staff ran some great poolside activities. The Mexican restaurant was amazing. The snack bar overlooking the beach was nice. The room itself was not great. Air conditioning leaked water on the floor. The ceiling in the bathroom shower needed maintenance to repair due to a water leak, the two queen beds were not overly comfortable and room furnishings were minimal. There are  [... read more]not nearly enough beach lounge chairs. We were there 10 days and we're unable to get a lounge chair on the beach even once!!! One day we couldn't get beach towels due to a dryer problem. All the staff were amazing and helpful. The constant push of viva staff to sell memberships was a bit too much.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Relaxing/Fun week at Waves Costa Dirada

Solid 4 Star resort. Excellent service from staff Kennedy, Carlos and Doulche. All 3 AlaCartes were very good. Pool was kept very clean, a bit cool but very refreshing. Bathrooms in rooms upgraded very nicely. Both buffets were also well stocked with great salad bars and hot foods. 7th time visiting this resort and will go back. One negative comment, the resort beach is nice but once u get to the public area’s there is garbage, plastic bottles etc everywhere.

Secrets Tides Punta Cana: Resort was amazing did not like the unisex bathrooms

Rooms were cleaned all the time food and service was amazing. I had my jewelry stolen at the airport from my luggage not the resorts fault but they didn't seem to care I wish there was an airtransit represented there when we needed them

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Good value

Lobby should have a bar and nightly entertainment. Hard to get change made in lobby. Very loud by the pool at night. Rooms were good and clean. Very nice beach and pool. Overall good value for money. Long bus ride to resort.

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Pretty Resort!

The grounds are beautifully maintained very pretty. No faults with our room, very clean, mattress is comfortable.Food good,drinks good. Good beach,safe swimming. I would have liked to have some Palapas for shade. The only fault I had was that no one could speak English or French or German. The main reception desk were able to speak English. Be aware of long bus ride ( over an hr)

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Great resort

Had a great time, the food was amazing. Needed a few more days of sun the weather wasn't the greatest. Staff are all amazing. Rooms are good, biggest bed in the world. Beach was beautiful. This was our second visit and would do it again. Thank you

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: 2nd time enter than the first!

We visited this resort in November and loved it so much went back in February. We were not in preferred club yet felt spoiled the moment we arrived! Every single staff person from maids to servers always had a smile and welcoming comment! We would give this resort a 10/10 from rooms to food to beach to pool to entertainment etc etc. can’t wait to return!

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Awesome resort with great people

Upon arrival we were sent upstairs to the Royal check in. While doing required paperwork were given drinks of our choice as well as access to some Hors d'oeuvre in the lounge. Check in was quick room was not ready but was ready when we came back at 3pm. Room and grounds clean pool good and was kept clean. Man bars available for the size of the resort and all good. Ocean was good with very little coral and water clear enough to see it as well as see small pools of fish. Buffet was good can it ge [... read more]t repetitive? Sure but if you try the different dishes it was good. The Ocean Grill, Italian and Octopus restaurants were also good for an all inclusive. The staff were top notch friendly and quick for the most part (yes restaurants could be slower in service and getting coffee at breakfast could be slow but the resort was at capacity the whole time so please be patient they are going 10/10.) Overall I love love love this resort especially at the price point and will visit again.

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Amazing Resort

What a beautiful resort, so clean and well kept up. Our Butler, Bolivar was fantastic. He kept us well informed on what was happening that day at the resort. He was prompt in getting back to us about our questions or concerns. The bar staff at the beach were super to all. We all had a great time. The food was wonderful. Great place, and we will be returning next year.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Great resort

Just returned from a week at El Portillo, a fantastic resort. From the moment we arrived the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room in building 25 was great and very convenient to all amenities, cleaning was done daily to a high standard. The staff at the Sports and Beach bars were all very good, too numerous to name individually. The buffet staff was likewise friendly and hardworking. We dined at the Greek, Italian and French restaurants, all very good. The entertainment staff was very  [... read more]lively and engaging, with a special shoutout to Gerson, one of the friendliest and lively staff members we have ever encountered. The beach is very nice and overall a fantastic resort.
