Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Very nice resort

We went for 7 days to Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres. It was non day we can complain. Beautiful, nice design, modern place with plenty of restaurants a la carte, where we never had to book the seats, just "show and go". Food for every diet: meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, plenty different kind of fresh , prepared in many ways fish, sea food, veggies, fruits. All day activities organized by staff ( yoga, pilates, soccer, volleyball ect...) Pools for every one, for kids, for adult only. You can get every were by foot, go-cart, or...boat, because it is long nice canal, where during night is water show. Problem is in the sports bar, if you want to change channel, even nobody is watching, you not allowed to watched important games if is not on it. Rooms nice, big, but clean very late even after 4pm. Very nice polite staff, wiling to help you with every thing...(very good experience with Luis).

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Spectacular place!

My husband and I returned to this resort third time because we love this place so much! We took our friends with us this time and they've been also amazed by the beach, restaurants, evening program and disco, and also food. We loved to eat at the beach restaurant where you can enjoy the beach view. Personal working in this resort keep this place very clean and tidy. The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Perfect Trip for families!!!

I am beyond happy with this resort! It was our first time resort travelling with our baby (just under 2), so we needed something that would be clean, kid friendly, spacious. We were deciding between Mexico, Bahamas, Jamaica and Barbados. Our travel expert recommended this place. We didn’t have to take any baby equipment, they provided stroller, crib, baby food, bottle warmer, bottle sterilizer, even a cute teddy bear. It was easy to put her asleep and hang out in the huge living space area.  [... read more] We were in 5111 villa the run of the house suite. Close to the beach and beside the kids play room. The food was 5 stars all the way! They even had a vegan/veggie restaurant that he fantastic food. The Thai place was phenomenal. Italian place had a great selection and good quality meat. The buffet was nothing to write home about, it was good, but not too many selections, so what they had there was good quality. Breakfast was good. The staff are super friendly and helpful in a genuine way. They don’t even look at your tip when you give it, just put it in their pocket and grateful. The beach was beautiful. Clean. There was no funky smells like at the other resorts we stayed at in Mexico. The pools were clean, the infinity pool is gorgeous. Kids play room is bright with natural light, clean, wide variety of things to play with ages under 1 to 13. The only thing I must say that this is not a party resort. They have activities during the day. There’s a show at the stage around 8pm to 10pm, sometimes a show at the pool from 830-1030. The bars are open late with music but not late night party spot. The pools close at 8pm. So if that is what you are looking for I wouldn’t go here. But if you are looking for a clean, spacious, beautiful, great food, nice beach and pool, bright place to unwind (kids or no kids) this is the place in Mexico to go.

Hotel was clean and good food. Service was good but lack of english spoken staff. Pools clean Need more respect for the adult pools with no chrildren allowed. Shuttle service almost needed for all locations.ex restaraunts. Beach first 3 days ckear water Last 4 days unable to use account sea weed issues in mexico. Little activites on this resort. Half reataurants closed acct low season. My rating wokld be a 3.5 Thanks

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Meh

The people working at the resort were not friendly nor helpful at all. We paid for a pool view high floor room and were given an end unit room facing the jungle on the main floor. They didn’t care and said they were full despite it very clearly being not busy at all. The majority of the guests were locals and they were very obviously given preferential treatment. They claim to be a family oriented resort but often seemed very inconvenienced by having to serve kids (I took my three boys). We  [... read more]found a weave stuck In the sofa in our room and aside from coming and picking it up, they did nothing else. Beds had no cover blanket, only sheets. Despite multiple requests, it took three days and 15 calls to get blankets. We were also asked to leave the beachfront restaurant for wearing a cover up over our bathing suits - they stated that we needed to be clothed - it was lunch time and it’s on the beach. The pools, bars (aside from the lobby), and snack bars all close at 5pm which is extremely odd. Also the bathroom light in our room remained constantly on and flickering. Despite many complaints no one ever came to fix it. The beach was completely covered in seaweed and the water was unswimable. We made the best of it but I definitely wouldn’t recommend nor visit again. It is a nice looking resort, the shows were good, and there were options for activities and great food choices although they should be more clear with restrictions. A couple restaurants kids were not welcome at and many things, such as wine, are not included. Actually many liquors that normally are weren’t. It was rather surprising and disappointing considering this resort generally has such good reviews.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Perfect Honeymoon

This resort was absolutely wonderful. The food was always amazing with a large variety, lots of 24 hr options and different restaurants to choose from. Buffets always had different ethnicity sections that switched out daily. Staff was so kind and thoughtful. Everyone was helpful and quick to make our stay amazing. Trolleys to different areas in the resort came very often, room service was very quick and we always received phone call check ups to ensure we received what was ordered. Allegro Playacar: Amazing Vacation at Allegro Playacar

We just returned from our 3rd trip to Allegro Playacar this year for 7 nights. Amazing great resort...people very friendly. Not too much traffic which made my vacation a treat..very relaxing. The beach was awesome...great white sand and not overcrowded. washrooms... Nice clean rooms, wonderful staff.The pools are always clean as are the beautiful grounds. The buffet was excellent with a different experience each night..food excellent although more seafood would have been appreciated. The entertainment crew always has something going on to keep you from getting bored. The workers at all the restaurants will give you superb attention, love it! Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Family Vacation!

This resort was so beautiful from the time we arrived to the time we departed! Our family had 13 people stay at this resort and the staff was amazing at accomedating all of us. Mariel and Ayleen from kids vlub were fantastic with our 2 youngest girls who are 3 and 4. All the though were super friendly and always willing to help in any way possible. We didnt even have to get out of our swim suites. The ocean at this part of the beach was amazing! Clear water and not alot of rocks and seaweed. Also didn't smell weird at the water. When we went for walks along the beach other resorts had a smell at the water. We went snorkeling and saw turtles, stingrays, many types of fish and coral. It was amazing! There is always something to do here. The resort has scheduled events all the time, it was GREAT!!! Our entire family loved this resort and hopes to go back soon!

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: Peaceful and Relaxing

The resort was very well-maintained and the staff exceptional in delivery of service. Now Amber has great access to the city, beaches, and pools without having to take long walks to amenities. The city is also has reasonable transportation costs to explore all that the Puerto Vallarta area has to offer, such as zip lining, jungle tours, snorkelling, etc.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Quiet resort/many resorts

Very quiet resort. Food was amazing. I was upset that we couldn't bring food to our room. Wish we could bring food from the buffet and snack bar to the rooms. Also wish the snack bar was better ventilated to avoid mosquitos and have some AC. I also wish it had a gym. We also had bugs in our room but overall our stay was okay. We were able to travel to three other resorts and use their amneties which is a plus. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Awesome Resort!

This was our fourteenth time to this resort. We love the Mexican feel that this resort gives to us. The bright colors, the Mexican themes, and the warm and comfortable feeling of staying there. The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. The beach is nice as well. There are vendors that walk around selling clothes, hats and jewellery. Viva Maya by Wyndham: Absolutely Incredible!

First off, let me just say that the staff who work at this resort are absolutely incredible. We stayed for seven days and felt like we were at home (but better) we are looking at going again next year!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Beach is not good

This is a very decent hotel with a clean rooms, good food, welcoming staff. But it's not for a beach lovers. Water in the sea was stinky. I was told that from September to November it gets bad because of sea weeds. Anyway, I had to spend 5 says out of 7 in the pool with cemicals, the same as in my condo in Toronto. Night shows were boaring, couldn't compete with Cuban shows. The same artists played the same performances during the 3 different programs lkie Circus de Soleil, Michale Jackson and A [... read more]ladding shows just changing their wearings.

Royal Hideaway Playacar: Perfect size and location

This is a beautiful, well maintained, very clean resort. Our room was beautiful and well appointed. The decor throughout the resort was old Spanish influenced and furniture everywhere was very fine quality. The staff were excellent, polite and very accommodating. The best part was the magnificent swimming pool with plenty of comfortable seating and shade for everyone. The food was very good although I personally do not like having to make reservations. The beach is beautiful but the distance  [... read more]from the pool to the ocean is too far with no shade closer to the water. Check in time is rigidly monitored at 3:00 pm. Period. No exceptions. Not acceptable for a five star resort. However, having said that it was a lovely experience and we would return.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Excellent Resort

The hotel was kept very clean. There was a number of Specialty Restaurants with very good food and the buffets had lots of delicious choices as well. The grounds and beach were clean and well maintained. Premium rooms had excellent customer services. All in all it was a great resort.

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Beautiful resort

I liked in this resort the rooms and service. The pools are very beautiful.on the beach some days was a lot seaweed. The resort is very good for families and has a lot of programs for children. There is also a beautiful pool and water park for children.

Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: Could have been much better!

Our stay at the Finest Resort could have been much better if they had a better bed mattress. The bed mattress was so soft I had to sleep on the couch through out our entire holiday. I have ostio-arthritis in my back and neck and after my first nights sleep I woke in so much pain, I contacted the concierge immediately to ask for a firmer mattress to be installed but they have nothing on the resort (not one firm or mattress with any form of support on hand) they had the mattress turned around to [... read more] see if the bottom end might be firmer, it was the same-no support at all). Unfortunately for me, I had to sleep on the couch the entire visit which was horrendous for me as I got a bacterial parasite in my stomach from the sandwich which was served on the plane during our flight to the resort which left me cramping in my belly, I had to lay twenty hours a day on the couch from day two until we left on day six! This whole experience would have been much better had they if had a back up firm mattress on the premises as would be expected at a five star resort. We have travelled extensively and stayed at many five star resorts, I have never had a soft bed like this ever at any resort or hotel we have stayed at. I cannot comment on much more as I spent most of my visit in my room layed out flat on the couch eating room service which to me was not as good in comparison to any of the other resorts we have stayed at in the Cancun area. Service from staff was excellent and room cleanliness was very good.

This is the best resort I have stayed at yet in Cancun, Food is above average and thats coming from a picky eater, also the pools are awesome but beach is good too, The employees are also awesome and go out of their way to ensure you have a great time

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort.

Nice and big resort. Very nice for walking around. Quiet place. Only thing that I did not like was the reminder call received by west jet for the meeting to confirm return transfer back home was too early

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Amazing sunny week

My husband, 3yo and I spent the first week of Sep in this hotel. We had a great time. Fantastic staff and location. Nice beach, and pools are suitable for toddlers. Our room was spacious but there was a mold smell in the air. The shower could be improved and tv could be in HD. Overall was a positive experience.
