Power went out for 10 hours they did not inform us about laundry they cost over 150 us doller Food was not up to standards Mexico is a beautiful country and there are lots of other good resorts there do not make the same mistake we did But My travel agent Tammy @ trip Central was great if you need to book a vacation call her

Riu Palace Baja California: Overrated

The resort is new and the rooms are very modern which is why I wanted to stay here. The pools were pretty nice as well with many lounge chairs and no shortage of umbrellas. However the service was pretty bad from the moment I got there, no welcome, no champagne and then put in a room where all I could hear were the outside a/c vents which are super loud. We got moved to another room which was across from Riu Santa Fe so it was loud all night as well from the pool party. The food was terrible as  [... read more]well as the drinks. We ate at the resort buffet once and a restaurant before getting ill. We left the resort every day to eat at the marina or at medano beach. There was also a bad smell kind of like sewage every so often in our room, room service was terrible and house keeping was as well! I paid over $1600 pp. no more Rius for me! I recommend anywhere on Medano beach- preferably non all inclusive although sandos is lovely!

Riu Santa Fe: Beautiful and fun!!

I loved the resort, super clean, rooms very comfortable and the food was excellent! Service was friendly and helpful. The pools were clean and water temperature was excellent! Very happy! Loved the pool parties and bars and entertainment

Riu Palace Baja California: All Boxes Checked!

We just spent 7 days at the Riu Baja Adults only Resort in Cabos and loved it, I can’t say enough about the friendly and consistently great service at the restaurants and pool. The food was very decent, especially in the speciality restaurants. The rooms were awesome, Nicely designed and. spacious. The Pools had tons of seating both sunny and shady. The Activity team were lots of fun and if you weren’t into their activity there was another pool nearby that was quieter. The views were s [... read more]pectacular. The only regret was the fact that the ocean swimming in front of the hotel was too risky, However we knew that when we booked. Hard to look at that beautiful ocean though and not go in!!! The only thing this hotel could use was an bar with air con, All the bars were outside either at the pool or on the terrace. I would recommend this hotel.

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Good experience

Great experience! Our family had a great time. This is more of a family friendly resort. Fun is the centre of all resort attractions. A lot of corridor noise from the room so we’d wake up purely from carts passing by or people taking the elevator down the hall etc. other than that, we had a wonderful experience

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Great Family Resort!

Hotel was good! We got upgraded to family selection for a good price. Pool service at the private pool area in family selection could have been better! Loved the bar at the family selection. Bartender Arturo was awesome and made incredible drinks for us!

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Overall, great resort

The resort was very beautiful and calming. So much to do and the food was amazing. The beach had a lot of seaweed during the time we were there, though that's just the way it is sometimes. We were very happy with everything offered at the hotel and how clean it was. The staff at the entire resort were SO kind, friendly and generous. Everyone was welcoming. I'd say the only downside to such a nice resort is that, because there are (SO!!) many weddings, it can be noisy at night when you're trying [... read more] to sleep. Some wedding parties party around their rooms after, making it not as calming when you try and sleep. We had to turn our fan on and use ear plugs to sleep through it some nights. But luckily this didn't happen every night.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Family trip

Beautiful hotel, amazing pool and beach, nice star prestige amenities, some of the rooms ere looking old and tired . Mexican restaurant is the best , I would avoid the others . Great bar and restaurant staff including the housekeeping .

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Very nice resort

Overall very nice resort , amazing service at star prestige bar in the lounge as well as the beach . Very good breakfast and excellent lunch buffet , good Japanese and excellent Mexican restaurant, avoid all others for dinner . Beware of the some of the restaurant managers try to push for cheaper wine when you ask for star prestige wine list and selection.Kudos to the housekeeping staff as well as the bell boys and golf cart shuttle staff around the resort .

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: Could have been better

One bad meal broke the trip for me but my family did enjoy the resort since they did not eat the same food. This resort is in the PlayaCar complex and getting in from the airport took forever. I guess this is the price for security so plan ahead if you are arriving with kids. The 45 min ride took 1.5hours. The a la carte Mediterranean restaurant (black squid risotto with fried calamari) ruined 5 days of my trip which I spent running back and forth to the washroom. Let’s just say I am h [... read more]appy to be back home eating food I know I don’t need to examine before I eat it. The rest of my family did enjoy the entertainment team. The energy from this crew is top notch and the freshly made food on the beach is the safest bet. The sangria when they serve paella on the beach was a nice surprise. The entertainment team a lot of energy and offers lots of options if you want to get into the spirit of the resort. I should mention there is a lost and found which you should check as someone did take my slippers and I found the kids goggles at the lost and found. You need your passport to exchange from USD to peso and no one has small bills! Take lots of small bills so don’t have to scramble later. We had a ocean view room which was amazing. Especially if you are stuck in doors and you can relax(recover) while you order room service. Honestly I had a better experience at Melia resorts and upgrading to the level instead of paying the premium for a better room at Iberostar where you don’t get as much perks as Melia.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Tropical Jungle resort!

Although my partner and I had to wait for well over half a day to change hotel rooms (since our assigned room had a musty smell and was affecting my allergies), the hotel staff finally did give us a room that was excellent. The rest of our stay was very pleasant. The service was great. The staff was friendly and the grounds were well kept. Our hotel room was exquisite, The cleaning staff was punctual and thorough. The buffet had a great variety of foods to choose from and the quality of the mea [... read more]ls in the restaurants was superior. The nightly shows were entertaining. If I had to criticize anything, it would be the time it takes to travel from our hotel to the beach or other restaurants at the Bahia Principe since the property is very vast. Otherwise, a totally relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Nice vacation

The hotel was very modern. Kept very clean and regular maintenance was happening in little areas all over to keep it looking it's best. Not overwhelming though. The food was GREAT we definitely did not go hungry with all of the options provided. The beach was beautiful (even with the ONE day of seaweed that invaded the property.) Excellence Riviera Cancun: Good

If we had not stayed at excellence playa mujeres last year, would consider this pretty nice but now getting tired.Beach was seaweed, ocean was sandy brown (blame recent storm).Restaurants' food was good.Wasting 1 hour to line up for night's hibachi is primitive, (how about each room reserves once per stay when arriving?).Turned off all lights during outdoor meal, had to leave for indoor diner.If you don't tip (or enough) then wait for second class service.Surprise first checked bag charge!!Free  [... read more]Valet Park N Fly was welcomed.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Best resort I’ve been to!

Beautiful resort, gorgeous decor with very friendly staff and great service. My only issues were very slow elevators, poor house keeping (replacing glasses cups, no wiping of tables or vacuuming) and faulty USB charging stations in our room.

Grand Sunset Princess: Amazing experience !

I really like this resort. It is very clean and employees are very friendly. There are a variety of pools to choose from some have entertainment and others are quiet which gave us options on where to go. The food was amazing, so much to choose from and the buffet areas/snack areas were clean as well.

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Great Trip

Third trip to this resort , food and service was great . New rule in place that no alcohol till 11am and most bars stop serving at 11pm . One concern was that the resort allowed some families with teenagers in the adult only section and although they had bracelets to prevent them from drinking they should not be allowed in the areas that we paid a premium to be in. The teenagers tried to throw balls around and play their music in an area where they should not be allowed , the staff did make the [... read more]m stop but it should never have happened . It seemed to me that the resort made these exceptions for the revenue but will probably cost more in the end when guest do not return ?

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great resort, amazing staff!

Had a great week at the Blue Bay! The food was awesome, the grounds were very clean, our room was great, and the staff were amazing!! We brought our two children and the staff were so good with them and very patient. We have only been home a few days and are already planning to go back!

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Amazing resort

Very clean, good food, excellent nightly entertainment. Always something to do. The resort is large but if you don’t mind doing some walking there are many things to see. Staff is friendly. Check in was quick and easy.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Awesome time had by all!

The hotel grounds were very nice and well maintained. Pools were clean with lots of activities to do. Only drawback at pools was the lack of shade, nearly impossible to get an umbrella or cabana. Food at buffet was really good and lots of variety. Only fault it’s their coffee, not very good at all, had to order cappuccinos every morning, would of been nice to have a decent cup of coffee! Beach was super nice, yes there’s a seaweed issue but they work non stop trying to keep it as clean as they can. It’s not an issue to find loungers with shade at the beach. Rooms were a bit dated but we didn’t care. A/C and fan were more than adequate. Staff were super friendly and helpful throughout the resort. The carts that drive you around were always available and hardly had to wait for one. We flew with Air Transat and the transfer between the airport and the hotel was a bit disappointing. Once we landed there was no indication of where to go. Finally found an Air Transat rep and it was a very long process to get a transportation. Waited probably about an hour and we were switched vans twice. The other concern was again with Air Transat. At the orientation they mentioned a free tour to Playa Del Carmen. What they ‘forgot’ to mentioned was that it included to stops at high pressure sale jewelry store and tequileria with mandatory timed stays. Great trip, would definitely recommend the hotel!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Wonderful Beach vacation

We arrived at 12pm, which was a bit of a rough start due to the 3 hour wait to get our room. Upon getting our room, our fridge had not been replenished and old food from previous guest was left inside, but that was the worst of our vacay. The beach was wonderful, we spent everyday there. The food was plentiful, and even our vegetarian family member was very satisfied with the daily options. We would come back here, but would hope to be in a more central room closer the the lobby/beach and pool areas.
