This hotel was very relaxing - family environment (great for young kids) - not too many young adults (not a party resort) - entertainment staff aren't too engaged with guests (different than anywhere I've been before) - no fun games by the pool or no music really playing during the day - food was great, lots of options, found something to eat every day (and I'm very picky) - restaurants has no AC gets pretty hot during lunch especially - rooms were amazing, very big, very very clean -  [... read more]beach was a huge disappointment (sand was nice and chairs were comfy but sooo much seaweed. Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Best resort experience. We have had ever

The resort was quite beautiful & breath taking, staff were very friendly and welcoming, helpful, especially lobby bar Jorge Luis, Francisco & bellboy Ulises. The buffet and restaurant were able to accommodate all allergies.the managers at the buffet and restaurant went above and beyond for my allergies. The spa treatments and facilities/pools were amazing. Drinks were always cold. Highly recommend the Mango Margarita. The beach and ocean was clean. Had wonderful pools and bars at each pool. The [... read more] taxi carts are quite helpful for getting around the resort and came by frequently. The village had a 24hr sports bar, they had games, pool and foosball tables, xbox, and more. Nice gift shops. Had free different entertainment shows main stage in the village at the resort every night. The only two things that could need to be improved was the rooms had too much moisture it affected our cell phones and everything was damp and have coca-cola products as well

Barcelo Maya Colonial: So So

Hotel is nice and overall clean and services are overall good food is good a la carte restaurants are all good except Kyoto restaurant ( servers either don't listen or understand well what do you really want to have for dinner and also Steak restaurant's charging us for 2 can of Sapporo beer 68 dollars was not acceptable ) there are certain things they need to clean the stones and rock at the beach along the shore they hurt your feet really bad one of the biggest "why is it like that" question  [... read more]goes to liquor service starts 12 pm and ends 12 am so after midnight there is nothing to drink this is i think too much for people who goes there for vacation or have fun . Occidental Tucancun: Amazing Resort as usual

Let me just start by saying that this is my 5th time to this resort and it keeps getting better each and every time. People are fantastic and front desk staff is always accommodating. Bellman remembered me as i got off of the shuttle. The food was crazy good. Although I did travel alone this time I was made to feel as if I wasn't. The pool temperature was ideal and I had nothing but sunshine all week long. I can't wait to come back here again. Shout out to Ismael in the lobby bar and the other fine staff. Michael in the adult pool during the week of July 17 - 22 was fantastic and I can't believe someone had the nerve to complain about him that they weren't being served as he was very attentive and professional at all times. I had room 3001 which had two balconies and oceanview room as well. Spacious rooms and very clean.

Where to Start: buffet runs out of food, buffet never changes, restaurants food is not that great. Pools are very small, no swim up bar, no pool side service. Not for smokers either. Won't be going back

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Riu Palace is a beautiful resort.

This was our third time visiting Riu Palace. There was significant changes that we did see and affected our stay. When we checked in and they gave us our room assignment we did not get the room we had asked for and we realise that can happen. However we discussed this with the individual checking us in and she just walked away and said you can up-grade. Customer service was definitely lacking. In the past that would never have happened.. Room was facing on to Riu Santa Fe which was noisy and [... read more] very loud and busy. We had to ask front desk on third day if their was still turn down service in the evening and towel replacements. They had to check with someone else and we did find out that it was every couple of days before this would be done. Again, this was different from last two times. We had to ask for towels couple of times for the room. They did leave a bottle of wine for my husband's birthday, however the letter was addressed to Miss McWilliams, again that attention to detail. They had made quite a few up dates to the front lobby and their main dining area had a re-vamp. The food in the main dining room was a lot of the same stuff. Their food in some cases was not kept at the appropriate temperature, which we all know can be dangerous. Both husband and I had noticed this a couple of times. Brought to their attention, not really aware and did not do anything to rectify it. There appeared to be a lack of leadership when controlling the flow of people through the main dining room. Resembled a large free for all at times. Wait staff and pool service staff were very attentive despite the lack of any real direction. Just wondering if all their seasoned staff had been recruited to the new Riu Baja California (recently opened)? Entertainment for most part was o.k. however appeared to cater to a certain audience. Fire alarms - three times in one night. First time false alarm, second time blown fuse? third time small kitchen fire??? Communication was not delivered. We received a memo under our door ter next morning explaining it was Vandalisnm. This occurred 4:40 5:00 and 5:15 a.m. Very scary indeed without any communication. Despite the hiccups overall stay was enjoyable. Would be thinking about another resort for future plans.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Repeat customer.

Good value for the price. Staff members are friendly and helpful. We stayed in block one on the water. Loved the view and improvements but missed having a good air conditioner. Best entertainment of all the resorts that we have visited quality costumes, good sets and varied performances.

Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos: Family Vacation with a baby

First impression was wow, what a beautiful resort, last impression was WOW what an amazing experience to have stayed here with my family. We went as a family of 5, an 11 and 15 year old, parents plus a 9 month old baby. Coming from Canada I brought all jarred/pouch foods for the baby (didn't want to take my chances with getting a baby sick). Hotel room: Ocean view, water cooler, mini fridge, one double bed, one king size, hotel provided playpen for baby. The number 3 pool (kids/all age pool) which is right below, has the water volleyball net, it's large,very accommodating and it's a relief not to have the big pool parties and women in g-strings biquínis all around the kids and husband,this is very much a family resort. Shout out to Elizabeth at the #3 pool, who was beyond friendly and such a sweetheart, she made us feel at home, we loved her! Restaurants: It was beautifully refreshing to find out that we did not have to make reservations for the a'la cart restaurants, we always got in, had no issues with waiting at all, somehow every single restaurant at the hotel was ready to serve and ready with a table for us. Maybe because this is considered a luxury hotel not as many guests maybe attend I'm not too sure? But we got sat right away in all of the places we chose to go to. Most of the restaurants are at level seven and the elevators were always working to take us upstairs and down. Emiliano's is an a'la cart restaurant and you have got to try the steak filet mignon! CUPCAKE CAFE was a major hit with my kids, delicious cupcakes sweets and drinks and coffee made for you all day long into the night. Don Diego is the buffet and even though they have a theme night each night, it's pretty repetitive for breakfast, lunch and dinners by our 7th day we were pretty much sick of the foods, even though it was all delicious, just very repetitive. also if you're expecting to go there and eat Mexican food you have to leave the hotel, they cater to the gringos and it's hard to find traditional Mexican cuisine at the hotel besides the tacos and nachos. DRINKS: the bartenders and waiters do try to push you with a wine list which is the only thing you have to pay for at the hotel, my husband and I figured that all of the liquor has been watered down, 100% everything tastes very syrupy and not alcoholic at all by the end all of the drinks pretty much started to taste like water with a little hint of alcohol in it, we did not get a buzz a single day not for the lack of trying! heehee BEACH: White Sands and beautiful beaches but not swimmable at all the oceans waves are amazing to see but you're not allowed to even to put your foot in the water it's very rough for sure. STAFF: 0 COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE STAFF, EVERYONE FROM THE LOBBY TO THE CONCIERGE, TO THE WAITERS TO THE SERVERS, EVERYBODY WAS VERY WELCOMING, VERY CARING OF COURSE THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO RECEIVE A MUCH DESERVED TO TIP. Hotel views and location: the hotel is located right across from the marina which is also where the beautiful Dolphins reside along with restaurants and very close walkable distance to downtown. The panoramic views of the Marina and the beach from the above of the hotel is just divine and they do have a night shows every night but we missed all of the shows as we had a little baby with us we would just go to the room early. I also heard that the adult nightclub becomes really happening at night until 2 in the morning! Overall we very much recommend this hotel, enjoy!

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Pure Pradise!

We feel we were picked up and placed in Paradise! We stayed at Paradiso Maya with access to the other 3 resorts. Besides some restaurants, our two boys were happy to stay at the Maya - there was so much to do there. All the staff are terrific no question. The bartenders at the main bar in the Maya are a hoot!! The place is spotless the food wonderful. Bland never came to mind with the food. We would definitely recommend the place and would return in the future.

Grand Marival Emotions Resort and Suites: Good family resort

The Grand Marival was a good basic resort. The beach is beautiful and the waves were great. The waiters in the a la carte were very good. I would say the resort could improve the food quality and the drink consistency. The drinks were never the same and were often too sweet. There was also very slow service at the bars. The shows were really entertaining

NYX Hotel Cancun: Amazing resort, great service!!!

Master suite 532,beautiful ocean view, small hotel with great amenities,staff is amazing Eddy bar tender!!! Sebastian and Gustavo!!! Sport staff, Daniela reception!!! Staff from restaurant beach, All Breakfast team, Housekeeping, every and each person in this hotel make our vacation special. Thank you for great service!!! All of you delivered the Wow!!! We will definitely come back.

Oh Cancun The Urban Oasis: Comfortable stay in the city

Nice hotel room and a good pool. Bus stop to the Hotel Zone is nearby. Big supermarket and crafts market are across the road. The air conditioning is the room was blowing very hard and could not be regulated.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Not Bad

The hotel itself is really nice surrounded by lush trees an gardens. We stayed at Grand Bahia Principe Tullum from July 9 to July 16, 2019. We landed at Cancun airport and the drive from the airport to the resort was about 1.5 hours. We were flying with Air Canada Rouge, the flight was good but the only thing I did not like was that there was no tv in the plane. Tal [... read more]king about the Resort, we really liked the resort, it is on a big property. We stayed at Tullum but could use the buffet, pool, bar, lobby of Grand Bahia Principe Coba as well. There is no way you can walk from Tullum to Coba Resort as its too far, the best way to go around was using their tram. The trams would come every 10 minutes. Being a vegetarian we were concerned about food but we survived. They had good vegetarian options but most of the food items were repetitive. So we relied heavily on potatoes, rice, nachos, pastas, pizzas, and salads. We stayed in villa 45, room 4125, the room is quite far from the pool. If you have younger kids I would recommend you get rooms closer to the pool. They have snack bar that is opened 24 hours a day, which we used a lot. Hatts off to the employees that work so hard anywhere from cleaning rooms, to waiters, cleaning lobbies and gardens.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Good Resort

The staff are wonderful and the grounds are lovely. The food is good but the specialty restaurants book up fast!!! There is plenty to do in the area for excursions so take advantage! This was my second time at the resort! They gym and spa are wonderful!!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Was old and got rooms far

We didnt like the tulum resort but did like coba. Tulum is older resort and snack bar was far. Our room was at the very end which we didnt like. The trollies were very busy if u wana go to ur room or different resort. I would not recommend to anyone. Our departure was in the morning. The front desk said that we can have breakfast at snack bar. The guy was rude early in the morning at 5.30am. We ended up having only toast that it. Since we had small kids. Melody Maker Cancun: Great experience!

The hotel was amazing, staff was super nice and helpful. Service was great, atmosphere was incredible. The room was gorgeous, my friends and I loved it! The only thing is the water in our room turned off s couple times for like and hour. But other than that we had a good time !

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Amazing resort! Perfect for a family with young kids!

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The bell boys are great and very knowledgeable. After the first night we changed rooms as our room was facing the theatre which was very loud at night. The pools were awesome, the arcade was nice and cool and the restaurants were good. We will definitely go back again. My son is 6 and he preferred the regular pools than the pirate ship and my daughter of 2 enjoyed all of them. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Value!

Enjoyed the stay with this hotel. Great food and amazing people. I visited this resort every year in the last four years and I always want to go back again and again. 24 hour room service was great. You will never go hungry or thirsty.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Okay Vacation

The hotel was beautiful and clean. The only think was I was locked out for 2 day each for 2 hours because they didnt change the door lock! So annoying .Entertainment was good. Need more English workers.
