Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Superb Resort

The entire resort is 5 star.......from the food to the rooms to the great staff to the amenities to the bars and a la carte restaurants. First rate. However my wife had her phone stolen from our room. She and I both know that it was a maintenance guy who was in the room when we were at dinner. He was there to fix the toilet. I know he swiped it. Security came in to our room. They did a thorough investigation etc. and then provided my wife with a letter that was pure BS......not appreciated [... read more]!! Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Nice resort - beautiful grounds...poor quality beach

There was a lot of variety for dining... always something to find to eat. Although some will review the a la carte's as great I would say don't expect French or Italian in mexico...then your good! Seafood and steakhouse was great! The grounds were breath taking - beautifully kept. The beach was sadly awful. A beach vacation is not what your going to get here. The smell was terrible, we had red flags the entire week but it was the seaweed and the dirty upturning water that was most disturbing. Th [... read more]e condition of the rooms was ok - could use better maintenance for sure! The beverages were sub-par...they couldn't mix a mojito or margarita properly...the mixed drinks were ok...but light on the booze and often with poor quality alcohol unless you had a great bartender that would ask you what you wanted. The pools were ok - i am not a huge fan of pools but there was a lot of mold which means for me they are not maintained as well as they should be for a 4.5* resort. Weather is not something you can control - so the parts that you can should be managed properly. Great that a bottle of tequila was provided in your room but would have preferred better maintenance over that.Overall I found it lacking - I won't be going back and I won't be recommending it any time soon. Shame - first kid free vacation in a while and in the end it was sorely lacking!

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Would Go Again

We were all inclusive - excellent food - they do not take reservations at the dining rooms If you are beach walkers - no problem - lots of walking both directions beach vendors do not harass at all - and you can have an awesome 1 hour massage on the beach for $30.00 U.S. construction going on at their pier which is pretty much destroyed - so can be noisy if you like to spend time on the beach all staff very attentive and at the restaurants they will try to upsell their wine list the all inc [... read more]lusive wine selection they offer was very good for our tastes our room was the 1 bedroom Jacuzzi suite. On arrival they offered the sky deck option for an additional $60.00/night - which we declined. When we got to our room - voila, we actually had that sky view room. I guess, they wanted to squeeze some more $$ out of us - before they gave us this room, probably because that was all that was available. Just wish they had have just said to us - enjoy this beautiful upgraded room - at no charge. There is lots of walking - but we knew that, and we actually enjoy the exercise. The Gin Bar is amazing - try it!!! Trip Advisor had a promo on the beach one day for lunch - the selection of appetizers was amazing - even candy apples, cotton candy, sushi, and much more same old complaint about towels being left on the pool deck chairs unattended for hours...not a fault of the resort by any means - inconsiderate people!!!! same old, same old yes, you should try this resort!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing stay

First off, not enough could be said about this amazing resort. The food was top notch whether it be the buffet or the a la cartes restaurants. Service was also exceptional and a special thanks to Manuel at the buffet restaurant. He always brought a smile to our faces and felt as though he paid special attention to us. Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Occidental Xcaret

Our trip was great, Jairus was very helpful with explaining what to expect at this resort. Food, rooms and all staff were excellent. The only thing we did not enjoy was the people trying to talk us into Time Shares. We will use Jairus again for additional trips.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Couldn't ask for a better vacation

This resort was just what we were looking for. There is enough to see and do every day that you are not bored. The Jungle setting is really cool to walk through even at night. The paths are well lit and safe. Food was really good, this is the first trip in 12 years that no one in our party got sick. Staff is friendly, and does a great job of keeping the Adults Only sections just that. The resort is very family friendly, but if you want to be away from kids best to avoid this place. Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Great vacation

This is a very nice hotel. I love the architecture. The beach is very nice and the pools are beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The big negative are the rooms. The rooms are ``fine`` and spacious but they need to be renovated for that hotel standard. The staff was very pro-active and efficient in making sure that everything worked in our room to our satisfaction but to rooms still feel old and ours was very humid and had a very strong smell of moisture. Iberostar Waves Tucan: Beautiful Resort

The Best Thing About This Resort is the grounds with lush greenery and wild life.Food was excellent and service.Pool was large and clean.Staff were friendly. Beautiful beach and can walk for miles. I will be returning to this resort again. we stayed on the Quetzal side.

staff are super friendly and accommodating. Need more chairs around pools (beach front pool and other pools). Bit pricey can find other equivalent resorts for less money. Rooms on top floor do not have cover over balcony making it tough with inclement weather. Standard rooms have 2 double beds

Grand Riviera Princess: Beautiful resort - Great vacation!

The Grand Riviera Princess was a large resort with beautiful grounds, plenty of pools, restuarants & bars. We really enjoyed the food - the Asian restuarant was our favourite al carte (we tried Mexican, Asian & Italian). The staff were very friendly and the resort never felt crowded. The entertainment at night was really good and when the show was over there was live music in one of the lounges. The beach was nice and the water was warm. Not the best beach I have been too but it was good and had an easier time getting a lawn chair/hut in the mornings then we have experienced at other resorst. Would definately recommend this resort.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Incredible Resort!

I wasn't sure what to expect to be quite honest but I was pleasantly surprised. The resort was beautiful. Lots for kids to do and see from the waterpark, the kids club or the eco activities, we learned a lot while there. We never had a dull moment. The food was delicious, the rooms were beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend and hopefully return with our extended family for them to enjoy it as much as we did.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Wonderful resort

Beautiful grounds with beautiful pools and beach. Very well kept facilities. Meals were all good to excellent as well. Evenings in the rooms were quiet so sleeping was great. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be going back.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing Resort

Seeing the resort for the first time was breathtaking. The grounds were immaculate and everything was very well maintained and beautiful. The lobby of he hotel was awesome with the ocean breeze coming in from the far end. The staff at the front desk were efficient and very helpful,they made sure someone was available to take us to our room. Our room was clean and probably the size of a hotel room in Canada, definately not oversized but sufficient. The food at the buffet was good, there was definately something for everyone. The a la carte restaurants were also very good, a nice change from the buffet. The pools were awesome and plenty of them, the beach was nice not the perfect beach but nice to walk on, swimming in the ocean not the greatest as the water was rough and there were barriers built to stop the erosion, which didn't look terribly attractive. Still loved this resort, many of the people we met were talking about booking this resort again they were so happy with it. I too would go back to this resort and I'm not one to go to the same place twice. I would definately recommend this resort without hesitation. The staff were ALL very helpful and friendly.

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Nice resort

Beautiful resort and excellent location, especially if you want to explore Playa del Carmen. Nice beach but quite a lot of weeds washed up with the windy conditions. Food was excellent, rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Only complaint would be the construction near our room that went on even at night. It was not easy but with much persistence we did eventually get moved to a quieter part of the hotel.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Awesome

We really enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar Tucan/Quetzel, loved the jungle walkways, food was great and good wildlife throughout the resort, friendly staff, it was our second trip to this resort and we'll return.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Incredible resort

This hotel is amazing!!!!!! We stay in the Sian Kaan part it was so quiet and we always found a seat at the pool! Rooms were great, food was amazing, great friendly staff!!!!! This was our second time, we will definitely go back in the future! Definitely worth the money :)

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Excellent resort

Very nice resort with excellent food and service. Staff always pleasant, polite and helpful. Very nice gymnasium. Beach was not quite as nice as various carrebean islands but still very nice and well maintained.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: A wonderful first time experience!

This was my first all-inclusive (girls only) trip and I was extremely pleased by everything and everyone. I have nothing negative to say about the resort or staff, but I did find the "street vendors" on the boardwalks at night to be a little bit of a bother. But, this first trip has given me the travel bug and I've already looked at your other locations and I'm working on my husband to go to your Jamaica Montego Bay location.

very nice & relaxing ! you are taken care of in every aspect good food ,beaches ,pools tour booking was easy and very informative all in all had a great time would go back there again stay longer and recommend it to family and friends

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Excellent Resort

This hotel is excellent. It is a very large complex with lots to do. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The food is plentiful as are the drinks. The beach is breathtaking. Although, some areas are rocky.
