Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Great resort for families with small children!

Very clean, amazing resort for families with children under age 10. Staff is so friendly and accommodating! Best resort for children's activities but would say it is geared for younger children at Nick Place and the water park. Food was great with lots of options and no hassle of having to make reservations. Loved that! They aim to please here and much of the meals are considered part of the excitement and experience so if you're someone who likes to eat in a hurry only stick to the buffet. Lots of storage space in the rooms for clothes although the things beside the bed had a funky smell- I think it's the paint that was used.

Ancora Private Residence Yacht Club and Marina: Absolutely Unbelievable !!!!!

This resort was above and beyond our expectations !!! when we travel to any country we do not put the bar so high that we set ourselves up for disappointment. So when we arrived from check in to check out this place was way beyond luxury. The room was larger than most main floors of any moderate home and had all the amenities of your own home(should you want to use them). As for the staff...Wow is all I can say everyone from the manager to the gardeners where the most friendly people we have ever met. They were all generally concerned about our stay and that we were having a good time. The pool staff and entertainment were so attentive to the guests I swear they were paid off ( lol they were not ). We personally witnessed one of the female entertainment staff help a mother who was there with her 3 young children.She took the baby and played with her for at least 3 hours, changed her fed her, rocked her to sleep. All so the mom could play in the pool with her 2 other children. I really cannot say enough about this place. We will without a doubt be going back and taking friends with us. Amazing beach,very clean grounds.would need bathroom renoes better communication between staff and guests.staff at guess services great hats off to Julio and Jesus for your help.good safe place for women traveling alone.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Satisfactory resort

Our one week stay was good . Some of the walkways were under construction when we arrived but was well lit at night and the work was completed within a few days . We did have an issue with a leaking ceiling fan vent above our toilet that got worse as our week progressed to the point you had to sit with a towel over your shoulders while in there. We did ask for it to be repaired and within a day or so it was BUT.....the day it was repaired we were on an excursion only to return to our room and  [... read more]find my husbands favorite hat was missing out of our room . We reported it to customer service and they said they would do an investigation into it and to come back the next day . We wasted most of the next day dealing with the issue . End result , we did get the hat back and we were told it was found in a restaurant that we had not even been in. Seemed a little sketchy. We decided not to dwell on the situation and try to enjoy the rest of our vacation .Our room was ocean view which was great for the first few days but it also overlooked a public street that was very noisy and we awoke to dogs barking and boat repairs being done at 6am. We were moved to a new room and enjoyed the rest of the stay. The food at most of the restaurants was good and the entertainment at night was excellent. There was far too many locals trying to sell you excursions and gifts on the resort and on the beach. Also staff trying to sell you time share . We felt harassed every time we went to the main pool and lobby. Our Sunwing representative was excellent and very informative . She was always there to help answer questions and was very helpful with the hat issue. Overall our stay was adequate and one can expect that there will be issues or things go wrong . No resort is perfect and to keep everyone happy always is a challenge . On a final note i would like to give credit to Christian who worked around the pool that we spent most of our time at . Hard working . polite and always attentive to our needs . Thank you Christian for making us feel like family !

TRS Turquesa: Royal Suites Turquesa

The grounds were impeccable, the food was great and we had a great time! The only annoying thing that we found, was everytime we went to a restaurant, there were people trying to sell us stuff, spa, etc.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Stay away!

I've been to Sian Ka'an in Mexico and was expecting the same service, food and rooms, totally disappointed. We spent our whole week at the new Fantasia on the same grounds, that one is worth the money (same price). Even Ambar Green is better on all aspects.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Amazing resort

We truly enjoyed our trip, the beach was beautiful with flour like sand, there was two bars on the beach with one of them serving food 24hrs a day. The resort grounds were very nice and clean and the staff was superb. The layout of the resort was great with all the amenities within a 2min walk. The ala carts were great and no problem booking any of them. The rooms are getting a bit dated but were kept very clean. I would recommend if you choose this resort to get the VIP package, you get access to all the restaurants, bottle of rum, cigars and fruit basket as a welcome gift as well as other perks. Your beach towels are in your room along with slippers and a robe. You also have access to all the premium drinks throughout the resort. The airport is only 17km from the resort.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Dreams Palm beach

This resort was very nice and clean staff was great, we had to our room changed when we got there due to musty smell but the staff move us within minutes which was great, the beach in front of our resort was cleaned every day but the ones beside our resort didn't get cleaned every day. Other wise the food was good resort good employees very nice.

all in all nice and good place but no evening entertainment buffet same all week very small resort if your not in diamond club your not very respected I find and if you are you get blasted with music ok

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful Vacation

Not only are the grounds of the Dominican Pablo Collection beautiful but the food was excellent and the staff outstanding. All ready planning on returning next year. It is hard to find an Adult all inclusive suitable for couples and singles, but we loved it.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Kid friendly

The hotel grounds itself was beautiful! Lush greens and beautiful flowers. The pool and beach were perfect... No complaints. The buffets had a huge variety of delicious food. Our room was a two star at best.... Mould, rusted facets, damp and full of flies. We complained Nd switched buildings to a suite. The wAterslides portion was hands down the best part of the resort.

Nice, spacious modern room overlooking the pools below and the ocean in the distance. Waterpark was great for young children (under 10 years old) with many kids activities available during the day and evening. Character central, foam party and "sliming" were the highlights of the week! Awesome waves for beach fun, clean sand and large area for playing, beach sports and sun bathing. Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Luxury Resort

The resort was magical with tropical gardens, flamingos, peacocks, fish ponds, amazing beach, nicely decorated rooms all with immediate pool access and content staff that was always happy to see you. The explorer club was loved by our 3 year old and the staff were excellent with the kids. Our room cleaner was very caring and our room always looked beautiful with fresh flowers. Riu Republica: The Riu Republica is great resort

the hotel was very good ,with the service,food and amenities.The room was a fantastic ocean view,with balcony, it was very spacious and well kept. I must also mention the entertainment, it was absolutely fantastic every evening and there was also a great. house band every evening to keep us dancing. Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Forever in my Dreams

I haven't travelled much but from what I've experienced at this resort just set an extremely high bar for any other resort. The food never disappoints, the employees all care about making you comfortable and well looked after. The grounds are well looked after and spotlessly maintained. The night time shows were outstanding. We are going to miss this one until next time.

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Relaxing Resort with great food!!!

I thought the hotel was very nice!!! Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Huge Resort

This resort had the best food that I have experienced in the DR. The grounds were spotless, staff were very polite, but the room was ok. If you are looking for a quiet resort, this one is not for you! This resort has basically 6 resorts in one area. The beach was extremely overcrowded as well as most of the pools. If you like action and lots of people, this resort is for you.
