Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: We had a great time!

Amazing hotel! The grounds and beach were beautiful. Many things to do for adults only, but also for families. Was great to have access to both sides when staying on adult only side. Food options were unlimited, and adult side food options were great. Highly recommended.

Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Nightmare

Staff were the best thing about the hotel. Our safe broke 5 times. I got sick. Puking my guts out. Luckily I had anti biotics in my bag. I had a fever so it was food poisoning. No gloves for food handling every where. It was a 2 star at best. I could go on but do not go here. Really do not go here.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Absolutely amazing Resort

We loved everything about this resort. We were fortunate enough to be put in The Colonial section (Jalisco Bldg). I can’t even think of anything negative to write. After 10 days I guess the buffets felt a bit repetitive.. but that being said you never went hungry and could always find something you liked. No one likes a hot soup on a hot day but their home made daily soups were amazing. Grand Oasis Cancun: Not what was expected.

Staff were good with guests, May spoke English and only a few did not. Cleanliness NEEDS work. Better description of the resort is required. You must upgrade an additional $400/nt cad to have bacon at the buffet. It’s really 3 resorts on one property. Food variety (there is none). Same food every day but it is cooked well. Only 1 tender at each bar and no blenders for drinks. Had to chase housekeeping to replenish room coffee and floor was not swept once. No option when booking to upgrade to w [... read more]hite or black bracelet. Blue bracelet: access to about 50% bars and restaurants. White: about 75% ($200/nt extra) black: 100% resort access for about $400/nt extra.

The Fives Oceanfront Puerto Morelos: Really great!

This spot was really great... some things to keep in mind: - Like almost everywhere else, we needed to go out at 7am to reserve beach loungers, otherwise, they would be all taken up for the dat - Since there is no buffet and everything is a la carte, you need to assume you'll be sitting in a restaurant for about 1hr-2hrs every meal, service isn't particularly fast - Breakfast and Lunch are great !!! (like on par with western restaurants) dinner lacks slightly. Keep that in mind... - Room s [... read more]ervice is $5 USD (delivery fee) but if you are on the all-inclusive package, that's all you pay, the food is included! - Only about 30 min drive from cancun airport (if you make no stops) - there are definitely kids at the resort, but isn't overly young kids friendly in the sense that there isn't much for kids to do (in my opinion) since there are only two small pools, and the rooftop one is adults only Overall, you are paying more for a boutique experience, but do keep all these points in mind...aside from those points, it was fantastic! 4.5 overall from me!

Barcelo Maya Colonial: What an Amazing Resort

This trip was booked by my daughter for them and there two girls and both sets of grandparents. I read reviews about it before leaving and was not sure what to expect. But upon arrival it was a beautiful sight to see from check in to check out, we were met with the most kindness and polite people I have ever met including the grounds keepers. the resort is beautiful and very big I have never been to a resort with such big pools and beautiful surroundings. GR Solaris Lighthouse: Great resort

Second time staying at GR Solaris lighthouse always have great service and great food and drink drinks!! people are wonderful there not a huge resort so easy to get around. It’s located in a great area where you can walk to grocery store or local shopping and every Thursday night is the art walk in San Jose del Cabo, which is a short Uber ride!

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Resort fine, but not the Tripcentral staff person.

i would like to comment on the staff member Eliana. She did not seem to understand basic concepts of travel. For example, i told her we wanted Premium seats, but definitely not the bulkhead. So she went ahead and assigned us to bulkhead seats. I tried to explain to her we absolutely did not want bulkhead. But she did not seem to understand. She wrote back in an email that she had checked with Westjet, and these seats (in bulkhead row) were definitely Premium (??). She just did not understa [... read more]nd. We went ahead and did out own booking in Premium row 3. I would never use her as an agent again. If this is not the right place to make this comment, please forward this on to the appropriate dept. I have used Tripcentral many times in the past, but would never use her (Eliana) again. So i am not sure how i can screen for suitable trip advisors in future. Perhaps you can advise.

Riu Playacar: Amazing resort

I loved every thing about this resort. No negative feedback at all. The beach is wonderful and there is always chairs available anytime of the day. The room was very inviting and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancun: We all had an amazing vacation

Tammy from trip central went over and above to help our group of 11 book our vacation The staff at every level on the resort went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful time Jorge with the entertainment crew had everyone on their feet and in the pool…Silva our pool server was outstanding always bringing drinks with a smile Soni was a huge help with any question we may of had The only draw back is there is no walking beach however there is 5 pools and chairs for everyone

Allegro Cozumel: Beautiful resort

Loved this resort. The beach is great with a beautiful candy bottom and the waves were very calm especially for our grandchildren. The kids pool was amazing .The food was good and the japanese restaurant was so much fun. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was good and stocked daily with water, beer and soft drinks. We'll be back for sure!

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Beautiful Stay

We had a great 10 days at this resort - very clean - hardworking staff - very large and spacicous room - beautiful views everywhere ! If you love a beach, this is not the place for you - very rocky - one small section near the perferred pool to go in on sand - we did see some kayaks later in the week going out by the family pool, but I think it's based on the tide. Grand Oasis Riviera: Beyond expectations

This hotel seems as though it was plopped down in the center of the jungle. There is plenty of trees, flowers and wildlife to keep you entertained. Our oom was exceptional. First ones in it as it had been newly built. It had all amenities a person would want. His and hers sinks. Toilet separate from the shower which was huge. Out on our patio was our own personal cabana and a pool we shared with 4 other rooms. Outsode of that was the pool for the building and the bar with bartender from the ho [... read more]urs of 10 - 6. It was about a 7 minute walk to get to the restaurants. However for us that was just walking off all the food we over ate. Paths were well lit with lots of fountains. There is a cart that can be called to pick you up if you prefer that. The restaurants had delicious and well prepared foods in both Mexican tradition and European tastes. If you can't find something you like there is always salads, fruit, parfaits, and fresh bread and rolls. The store at the hotel is well stocked with the things we tend to forget about when you are packing. The staff was happy to help, they know customer service. If you need a pick me up stop by the coffee shop. They serve an amazing variety. Try to taste them all. You will also find football and pool tables to keep you entertained The main pool has the kids zone and the taco bar. Dont leave your food unattended the Coati like to steal food if you are not careful. The beach you should be prepared for. There is a lot of reef and rocks to walk around. Take your swim shoes. The staff warned us about urchins as well. Once you get out into that warm and beautiful water you will see all types of aquatic life. Take a snorkel. It is an amazing sight. One we are happy we experienced. Our main downfall other then coming home was not being able to find the sunwing/nexus representative. The hotel has blended the sens and the oasis into one and there are 2 lobbies. We found out the day before we left that the representative is not allowed past the gate and is using a part of the building where u get dropped off at. That is a lobby as well. Our concern was if the representative was needed we couldn't find them. Even the employees at the hotel would not inform you where he/she was. The airport was chaos when we landed but the departure was much better organized. The drive from Cancun is long, be prepared. Overall we loved our stay. To us it was 5 star.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Fabulous Resort

We choose Grand Sirenis because of the beach, pools and Lazy River. The staff, food and room always exceeds our expectations. We also enjoy looking at the wildlife on site. The night and daytime entertainment are great. We watched the fire show on the beach and the Lion King at the theatre. We spent our days on the beach and they had Valentines Day entertainment one day and a fabulous 3 piece band another day. We also enjoyed swimming in the ocean and snorkeling. This was our 6th visit to the r [... read more]esort with our friends and we will be going again this April with family and friends.

Tesoro Los Cabos: Not the first time but definitely the last.

Let me start by saying I have been going to Cabo for 11 years. While I wasn’t satisfied with the hotel, I also was not very happy with the flight schedule that Tripcentral provided. We ended up with an 11 hour layover in Toronto. As for the hotel we found their policies to be bizarre. We had booked with breakfast included and they wanted us to wear a wrist band. They had several different colours of wrist band for a number of different options. I have travelled extensively and except for a stay [... read more] at a remote resort never was asked to wear a piece of plastic. I carried my band in my wallet to use at breakfast only. Secondly, hotels usually ask for your credit card to use for room charges. They did take my card number but when I tried charging a drink to my room, I was told that inly incidentals could be charged. I tried to explain that a drink charge is an incidental but to no avail. At the pool where there is space for only a fraction of the guests they have an unusual system where individual cards are used for towels. Perhaps theft of towels is an issue but I felt like a criminal the way I was monitored. The marina view room was small with a bathroom so small the door couldn’t be opened fully because the toilet was in the way. We tried using the air conditioner but the result was clamy air with a musty smell. Food at breakfast was plentiful but two things you think of with Mexican food, avocado and tomatoes were absent. The coffee was flavourless and the “cream” was really evaporated milk. We found out from a couple that didn’t have the breakfast plan that the cost was $33 US per person. We made the best of our vacation and only used the hotel for sleeping. Sleeping is difficult however as there is the constant barking of sea lions day and night. Hopefully I have said enough to make people take a look at an alternative hotel.

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: A great resort

This was our second time here and we had a great time. We love this resort. The staff is really friendly, we had no issues booking any of the à la carts. The food was great lots to choose from on the buffet and the drinks were really good. We did manage to get lounge chairs at the adult pool and we did have to go out early to get them but after a couple of days, there was lots of chairs still available at 8 AM. Our room was cleaned every day and replenished with towels and if we needed more towe [... read more]ls, we just asked and they were given. It’s a great location if you want to walk to Bucerias. We plan to go back next year.

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun: Beautiful resort but getting sick blew it

The resort is a beauty, super clean. We were Diamond Club. The room was great and all worked, plenty of hot water, fridge restock daily, room cleaned perfectly except the day off of the regular cleaner. We were in block 17 7th floor and the view was fantastic. Our Butler Jhonny was great but I felt that we miss some information as we were 8 and in 4 different rooms and there was not much informations regarding directions to places. The check in was LONG over one hour, yes we had drinks and food  [... read more]at the check in but it took a long time to get to our rooms. The resort is great but they need to change their beach towel rules and stop the chairs reservations with the towels. This was a big issue for the none Diamond Club. In the Diamond club area we always had chairs available. Pools were great, drinks at the pools were also great specially at the Diamond club pool. Food was good to my taste at the Italian restaurant, the Buffet but we went to the Cave one night and did not find the food good. The beach is great we were surprise we could walk it pass our resort with no concern. Here is my main issue, we were a group of 16 12 adults anf 4 childrens. All was well until we went to the Japaneese ZEN Hibachi style restaurant. 12 of the adults had dinner there and 6 of us got extremly sick the next day, 5 did not have the energy to get out of the room. I was the brave one going for my walk and ended up tthrowing up 5 times at the Diamond Club pool in front of multiple resort employees and No one came to help me. We my wife and I travel multiple time yearly and never have I been so sick. The good thing is it last like 12 hours in my case. Once the butler found out I was sick he came to see if he could do anything for me but it was too late. 2 more of the group got sick during the return home in the plane. Resort is one of the nicest I have seen but they have issues with the FOOD and Nora Virus that hit nearly every groups that are there.

Barcelo Maya Tropical: Good resort, enjoyed out time.

This is our second time going to the Barcelo Mayan resort as we were there in 2018 for the Luke Bryan Crash My Playa and it hasn't changed much since. The resort is kept clean and maintained to a certain point but the more you look the more you see broken or well used items. As it is such a huge resort the maps available in the resort or online are terrible, you can easily get turned around or lost and also having multiple staff tell you a particular restaurant or place in the resort was totally [... read more] incorrect and have you running around getting frustrated. The buffets were good and the a la carte restaurants were very good, we especially loved the Tokyo and Capri restaurants! On average the staff were pleasant but encountered more staff that didn't attempt to understand what you were asking and also would not look at you even after saying good morning or hello... Air Transat had it classified as a 5 star but I would say it is more of a 3.5 to 4 star.

Secrets Aura Cozumel: Lovely Cozumel

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. The start was difficult as there was no room for us due to maintenance issues. We were relocated for one night to a dismal room at the adjacent resort Dreams, though came back to a nice room at Secrets, but it was a disruptive start. Highlights were good snorkelling off the beach, fabulous weather, good food and overall nice resort. Night music and entertainment was minimal.
