Pelican Bay: Great trip, would reccomend
Rooms were basic but kept clean and staff were pleasant. Grounds were a delight, many trees and flowering bushes made for great ambiance. The pools were all clean with plenty of chairs and lounges with cushions put out every morning. All in all, it was good.
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Good
Food, especially steakhouse and Krystal's restaurant are great to din at. People are super amazing. Beach is fantastic minus the people who hold breach chairs for hours and thinks its their property. When it clearly belongs to the resort and everyone else borrows for sitting or resting. Not for your towels and sunscreen!
The Royal at Atlantis: Great Vacation
Great Vacation at Atlantis. This is our 6th time at this resort. We love it and it is great for families. There is so much to do. The one thing we noticed was not all the water slides were open and not as much staff. Other than that our stay was great as usual. The marina was full of beautiful boats and so much shopping to do. Great stay at Atlantis. Stay in the Royal Tower, it is close to everything!
Memories Grand Bahama: Great resort and friendly
Overall, was a great stay, Neg. was carpets in the rooms have to be changed. Musty odor and the same with the couches and chairs. Only minor things. Food ,drinks and people all great. Had a great time with my long time friends.
Memories Grand Bahama: Great Resort however could use a face lift.
Very clean everywhere, beach is beautiful, pool is great lots of room to move about. Rooms were very nice and clean, loved the kid park and teenage area...caters to all. The only snag was the bar service... really slow.
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Okay Property
The resort was more like a hotel than a resort in that the grounds themselves are quite small. It also seemed like everything shut down quite early. The food was good, although we were unable to try a specialty restaurant which was disappointing. Front desk staff were rude.
Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: ok resort for th cost
good resort for the price we paid...yes there were about 300 spring breakers....but for most they were polite, and the resort had a separate line up at the bar for regular guest and then one for students which was nice....staff at resort very friendly....the ocean and swimming area quite rocky of be aware...did the snorkeling with the shark tour very good....one thing no straws for your drinks and no slurpee drinks..but good food and good drinks...nice small resort...if you forgot something in y [... read more]
Memories Grand Bahama: Good resort
Food was good throughout and beach is beautiful. The service was hit and miss. Some staff members go out of their way to help and others completely ignore you. Beach bartenders were especially cold and ignorant.
The Royal at Atlantis: Beach Tower Not a 4 star
We stayed at the Beach Tower. Great location if you want the beach. The room was clean but definatrly needs upgrading. Hallway and room smelled musty. I would rate it a 3 star only because they were clean. We didnt use the water provided in our room as it was expensive. Went out to the market and bought our own. The hotel charged us $15 US for using their water bottles even though we talked to 2 of the cleaning staff and front desk and were assured we wouldnt be charged. The bottles we bought we [... read more]
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great resort!
Rooms very clean, beds are really comfortable. Food and staff very friendly. 1 pool, little difficult mixing party folks with kids especially with a pool bar connected. Beach is beautiful, be careful due to the quick dips in water height. Love the jet ski's!!â›±
Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Beautiful resort!
Loved the resort. The rooms were big and bright. We had a king bed. The food was good. Beach did have some rock but good snorkelling just outside the roped off area. If you like to walk on th beach this is the place to go.
Breezes Bahamas: Lots of fun
This Resort is a lot of fun for adults, lot's of daytime activities and a very active night life. The food was great and the daytime pool side awesome! The rooms were outdated but definitely functional. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend for a let loose kinda vacation.
Pelican Bay: Pelican Bay - exactly what we wanted
Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with Pelican Bay. The hotel is really boutique in nature, 167 rooms and staterooms. Our room was clean and bright with ample balcony however upon seeing the staterooms we decided to upgrade. The staterooms are beautiful with separate bedroom, large double sink bathrooms, kitchenette and lovely living rooms. The balcony was similar in size to our first room and came with Adirondack chairs and ottomans. The facility has 3 pools and a hot tub. [... read more]
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing Resort and Excellent Service
Although it's an older hotel, it's very clean, the rooms are nicely renovated, the food is amazing, the service is great, the beach is clean, it's literally steps to Atlantis. Most of the guests are with couples or older.
Memories Grand Bahama: Friendly Staff
Staff were great. The resort is small and provides great access for stroller or wheelchairs. Rooms were dated, but appeared to be freshly painted. Food was excellent at the steakhouse, but you never knew if it was going to be open. Not really any nightlife unless you go to the casino or market across the street. Transportation to the golf course was very quick and always available.
Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: A Gem in Disguise
I was at this resort from Feb 12-19th. I went in with low expectations because the reviews hadn't been great. Check in was fine, although I had an issue with an Ocean view upgrade that I had done before travelling (this was Sunwing's fault for not forwarding the proper paperwork). It took a day to resolve but I was very happy with the outcome. My room was amazing and very clean at all times. The beach was stunning, a beautiful walk in either direction and felt perfectly safe. The food was great [... read more]
Memories Grand Bahama: Nice beach, decent weather, but poor hotel
Service: Although there were a few nice employees working at the hotel, I would say that the majority of staff were cold and unhelpful. We travelled with an infant and the hotel was unacccomodating. Most times we had to grab our high chair, and sometimes our own food at the restaurant as it was just sitting there. Food: food was decent. I do not have complaints on that front. Cleanliness: hotel was clean, and cleaning staff did a good job with our room. Our biggest disappointment was with the [... read more]
Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: A hidden gem on a beautiful beach
I am giving this a 5 star because it was everything it claimed it was and more. Even with cold temperatures and a bit of rain our group of 10 had a great time thanks mostly to the entertainment staff who work so hard every day to ensure everyone if enjoying themselves. We had an ocean view room which is the way to go and the food was about the same as what I have experienced in the DR. We will be back again, there is so much more of the island left to explore.
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing hotel and location!!
The Riu hotel was the perfect place for an amazing vacation. The hotel itself was beautiful and the rooms were exceptional. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect we walked every morning on the beautiful beach or to the marina. We would definately recommend this resort and hope to go back!
Sandals Emerald Bay: very disappointed
the grounds and facilities are great; golf course is maintained well but one does need a lot of balls to make it around; the big disappointment is the level of communication and service provided by staff-very inconsistent and below the level of the previous Sandals we have visited.
