oh.we had an awesome time. rented a private cabana on beach for a day! fun.fun fun. would recommend Dreams to anyone. food at buffett was very good. the Wine Cellar was a great night. the entertainment team are execellente! and travel agency the best!

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Would highly recommend

Very enjoyable vacation. Clean rooms/hotel, friendly staff/most accommodating, great beach. Food was amazing as were there house wines. Will definitely be back. :) Gym was small, but had updated equipment.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: fabulous resort

my wife and i are active 60 year olds,we have travelled quite a bit, we have never enjoyed a resort as much as DREAM SANDS CANCUN, great staff ,everyone acknowledges you, most speak english and so much staff, food was terrific, comfortable beds, rooms extremely nice, cleaned daily, great ocean views,never had to wait once for dinners, good wines even the house wine was enjoyable, nice beach,in a bit of a bay, well protected from elements, will be returning with family for sure . Dreams Playa Bonita Panama: Very nice resort

The resort is very clean. Lots of pretty garden space and very compact ( in a good way). Food is very good and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The beach is not the best, tide goes out a long way, it is clean though. My only problem was getting clean towels for our room, the housekeeping was a little haphazard, the guy at the desk was on it right away once I went there. We would go back and would recommend this resort

Dreams Huatulco: Beautiful Resort!

This resort has lovely, manicured grounds and constantly being groomed and cleaned. Our room was great and us being Preferred status allowed us to use lounge, well stocked with food and drinks. Resort staff were friendly and very accommodating and went over and above to get anything we wanted. Several pools and towels were available at any time. No wristbands used. Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: I dream of Dreams Punta Cana

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dreams Punta Cana. The staff were very friendly or, in their own words, "Happy, happy". The food was well prepared, varied and tasty with a choice of restaurants that did not require reservations. The pool and most notably the beach were clean. One did not feel too harassed with vendors or tour offerings. In short, a very relaxing, pleasant week in the sun.

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Great resort

A great resort in all areas! The food was great with lots of selection and lots of choices to eat. Very clean and well kept up resort. Rooms are spacious and maid service during the day and turn down service was impeccable. Lots of bars everywhere you walked with great selection of drinks. Bar tenders were great and most remembered what you drank and had it ready before you reached the bar. The only down side is the resort is trying to go smokeless and have limited areas to smoke but really only [... read more] enforced in lobby area. It was the talk of a lot of guest there and I do my research before I book a vacation and there was no mention of this including westjet vacations. If I’d known I would of booked another resort. Hallways are loud because of tile floors but this is common and if you are a light sleeper as i am bring ear plugs!!! Other then that a truly great resort. Will I return no but only because of there smoking policy

Dreams Huatulco: 5 Star resort all around. Amazing and beautiful place.

This is my second time to Dreams Resort, Huatulco and I wouldn't hesitate to return. This is a beautiful hotel, very clean and the service is great. I've been to all the al a carte restaurants and the food is awesome. I love the fact that you don't have to wear a wrist band all week and you don't need reservations for the al a carte restaurants. All the pools are kept very clean and we enjoyed the water aerobics. We also did a little bike tour and learned about the outlying hotels and t [... read more]heir history. We chartered a private boat (through Jesus on the beach) for the 7 bay tour. He was very respectful and a lot of fun. I highly recommend this resort.

Dreams Huatulco: Amazing place to stay!

We spent one week in this paradise. Grounds were lovely and manicured, someone was maintaining the grounds daily. The outdoor beach/pool area was constantly being cleaned by staff. Hotel room was clean, beds were comfortable, good sized rooms. Food at both the buffet and restaurants was top notch. We especially enjoyed the Asian restaurant. Beach craft (kayaks, paddle boards) were in good shape and felt safe. We also took advantage of the bikes. Staff could not be more friendly, helpful, pleasant. And the weather was everything we had hoped for...constant sunshine, about 25 degrees consistently during the day. The day entertainment group was fun but not overbearing. I appreciated the fact that even though this is a family oriented hotel, there were 2 adult pools, one very quiet and one that was more lively.

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Not as great as Expected

Overall the food was good and plentiful. Some of the higher end items from 18 months ago were no longer offered—tomahawk steak and Greygoose as examples. The pool areas are small overall and the infinity pool was partiallly blocked off for renovations which included the swim up bar, one of the restaurants and a set of washrooms that made it very inconvenient. The rooms have an open concept washroom which is not ideal when sharing with older children. Zero privacy. Also beds were doubles and [... read more] not queens which makes sleeping a challenge. The grounds were well kept but it is a smaller resort so in general too confining for us. Overall the staff was great so no complaints there. A lot of better resorts to go to for the money. Will definitely not be back.

Dreams Huatulco: Dreams Huatulco Review

This will be my first time reviewing a vacation and I hope to give my honest impression of my trip. We were travelling in a group of 4 adults and had initially intended on staying at Secrets Huatulco. As I had booked the trip less than 2 weeks out I found that the Secrets was not available but Dreams was and opted for that resort. The resort was located approximately 20 minutes from the airport and the process from landing to arriving at the resort took 1 hour. I will say that this was our 4th t [... read more]rip to Mexico within the last year so comparing it to other resorts was still fresh in my mind. HOTEL Well maintained and very clean with workers constantly working to ensure things were kept that way. The grounds were manicured nicely and the layout of the resort was easy to navigate. There were 2 infinity pools( 1 adult, 1 family) overlooking the beach and bay of which the view was beautiful. There were also 3 other pools located throughout the resort. ROOMS Clean and spacious with no issues to speak about. Our bathroom had a large stand up shower with rainfall showerhead. I found the bed very comfortable and the bar and room was replenished daily. Of note make sure that the balcony sliding door is fully closed or the AC will shut off. FOOD I found the food to be OK to good depending on which meal I was eating. Breakfast was standard fare ,omelet's ,eggs various meats and the such which I had no problems. We typically ate lunch at the Seaside buffet which overlooked the beach and Bay. The food was fresh and tasty typically with various seafood, chicken, meats, salads ,soups etc. Dinner options were rotating a la carte restaurants being open on different nights as well as the nightly buffet. You could find which restaurants were available that day by reading the TV screens located throughout the resorts at various points. I ate at the Italian restaurant twice and found that to be a pleasing experience with excellent food. The dinner buffet I found to be OK with nothing fancy but more than enough to enjoy. I would say that overall the food experience was good but not exceptional. SERVICE This stood out at this resort. Having stayed previously at 3 other 4.5 to 5 star resorts in Mexico this year, the pool and beach service exceeded the other experiences. Whether sitting on the beach or by the pool servers worked tirelessly to ensure you always had what you required. It seemed that at least every 15 minutes someone was there asking what you needed no matter where you were located. Every server was excellent but forgive me as I cant recollect everyone's name. Erik, Miguel, Iselda (I think) were a few who made this experience memorable. The beach was beautiful with warm and reasonably calm waters excellent for swimming and enjoying paddleboards, kayaks ,etc. which were free of charge. I also enjoyed being able to walk to excellent nearby restaurants to eat and watch football. Trip to town was 43 pesos in cab and I enjoyed being able to walk around and eat ,drink and listen to music in a safe smaller town setting. Having been to Cozumel. Puerto Vallarta, Cancun and the Mayan I think for me this is one of the nicest areas in Mexico and will definitely be back. I would highly recommend Dreams ( and especially Huatulco) to anyone thinking of travelling to Mexico.

Dreams Huatulco: A friendly vacation spot

Resort was very clean and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. This was my first stay and would love to go back again soon. Enjoyed every minute of our trip. Easy commute to locations outside the resort.

Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Beautiful Resort

This resort is very family friendly, great place for young children. Our check in was very smooth and we were greeted by Rueben. There are several pools so great choice. Please note we vacationed during low season so it was not crowded, lots of towels and chairs to be had. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurants that we enjoyed were the Mediterranean, Japanese and Italian (at Secrets Adults Only) great food. Room service was okay, our last day we ordered breakfast but unfortan [... read more]etly not the greatest, best to stick with fruit, pancakes, yogurt etc. The World Cafe was great for breakfast and dinner and the service was good...Manual was excellent.

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Beautiful Resort, but area is dangerous

This resort is quite beautiful and immaculate. Pros: staff, service, cleanliness, pools, family friendly with great activities. Large sandy beach. Cons: food quality was sometimes poor, remote location, weddings and loud nightly music. Jellyfish stings when ocean is rough. Rise in violent crime throughout Cancun and Riviera.

Dreams La Romana: Great food and amazing resort

Very nice resort, great food - the buffet is better than the restaurants, highly advise to upgrade to the preferenced club - better beach chairs and less crowded beacg, good gym with all the basic equipment.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Wonderful resort

Spent a week at the dreams resort. Beautiful grounds at this resort. Wonderful staff. Rooms are nice but very average and showing their age. Food was top notch. Drinks were always amazing. As usual you need to ask them to back off on the alcohol. The evening entertainment was well done but the shows didn't start till 930 and felt this was late.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Good and bad

Good: Food was amazing! Resort grounds were beautiful! Pool was nice for the most part. Staff very friendly. The shows were great! The spa was nice but not the best I’ve had for the money. Bad: Front desk staff - Had problems with getting side-by-side rooms with a friend I was travelling with. When we booked, we specifically requested this for safety purposes. Took 2 hours to get my room after arriving at hotel. My room was adjacent to another room separated by a door that was not sealed in a [... read more]ny way so I could hear a pin drop in the next room. Didn’t get any sleep last 3 nights because of rowdy neighbours. Called front desk multiple times and they were difficult to communicate with. They wouldn’t switch rooms for me or compensate me for the horrible experience. Also found the show start times to be late. 9:30pm.

JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa: Nice resort but too remote

Very modern resort, some buildings require a lot of walking uphill to get to your room, I had to change rooms one time because after 3 days it's extremely exhausting. The food is good but no Costa Rican food except a couple things here and there in the buffet... the ocean is what you would expect in Costa Rica but that's not why people go to Costa Rica. Overall it was a nice resort but way too far to get away for a day. Another thing is the bathtubs are on the balcony and there isn't even anothe [... read more]r tub in the room.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: dreams punta cana

the grounds of this resort are excellent. Food was great along with the service. Room are in great need of updating, the only down side. Pool bar was excellent along with the girls serving around the pool. Easy to get your drinks

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Awesome Resort!

This hotel was amazing! The food was awesome, the beach was beautiful, the rooms were very clean and the staff were so nice and friendly. I also visited the spa which was incredible. I was so sad to leave!
