Hotel Bella Costa: Disappointed!
1. Accessible. Small resort and is to reach all the facilities. 2. Night entertainment, i.e. dancing was very good. 3. Daily activities were great and they give out many prizes. 4.There were good game areas such as billiard, ping pong, chess etc. We did not find any water sports such as kayaking and pedal boats. 5. The beach was nice and there were enough beach chairs. 6. The worst food comparing to the other 4-star Cuban resorts we've been. Very cheap (beans, corns and other canned foods). Poor [... read more]
Sunscape Curacao Resort: I really enjoyed Sunscape with a few exeptions
Not much on the dessert table at the buffet, it was pretty much the same all the time including the food, the alacarte's were good with the exception of the staff at the Oceana, but the food was good, the drink's were watered down, overall the staff at the front desk and most in the buffet were excellent, they changed our room when I told them that my wife didn't want to stay on the main floor, the bar in the lobby had great drink's if that's what you wanted, overall we had a great time and woul [... read more]
Rooms on the Beach Negril: This resort sucks!
I have stayed at 3 resorts now and this was the worst one! The contenital breakfast wasn't giid at all most of the time they were out of cereal and had to wait over an hour just to get served. It felt like a prison there way to much security I wanted to go on vacation not to a jail
Hotel Bella Costa: Bad stomach because of the food
The staff were fantastic, always friendly and helpful with a smile. The grounds were beautiful. The pool and beach were nice. The room was below average. The food was very very poor. I had an upset stomach the whole trip, and I usually do not have stomach problems.
Breezes Bahamas: 9th Time Back
Its been 3 years since last visited-grounds always in great condition, rooms clean but a bit dated,2 new restaurants were a welcome addition and food in the beach grill was great, some areas in the hotel have been improved and renovated specially the main buffet room. buffet food choices were reduced but the food quality has been improved which is a decent trade off-however they need to do a better job of dealing with vegetarian and vegan food issues. A fruit smoothie station at breakfast would b [... read more]
Hotel Bella Costa: Bella costa great food experience
Over all very good some issue like they should upgrade washroom and update room style furnishins could be more sharp looking maid service was excellent live music entertainment was great viva cuba general manager was great help thanks Johnny
Hotel Bella Costa: Older resort, but amazing staff.
Yes this is an older resort and we were aware of that. The big problem we encouraged was the noise in our room due to the entertainment during the day and from the show at night. We paid more for an ocean view and we were but in room 246. Yes we had a partial ocean view but our balconie was facing the back of the stage for the nightly entertainment. The room was in bad condition. Mold on the ceiling old painted furniture and a discussing bathroom. The next night we asked to change room. They tol [... read more]
Memories Jibacoa: Great Service - a nice place to relax
The staff here are outstanding. Servers, housekeeping, bartenders, entertainers: all very attentive and positive. The resort is very well-kept, clean and quiet. The beach, pool and rooms are all well maintained. The buffet is better than I expected from what I had been led to expect for Cuba. Less than an hour from Veradero or Havana (on a good road) and also far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Private taxis available for day-trips. (I recommend Anna and her '55 Pontiac). Also a safe area [... read more]
Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Fine resort
The resort was older but well maintained. The food and service were excellent. there was a secluded nude beach and an open beach which was very swimmable. Hobie cats, windsurfers and kayaks were available free of charge through the resort.
Breezes Bahamas: Easy and Breezy!
The hotel is well maintained and the drinks are flowing! The staff really make the trip worth it though; They are so friendly and fun! Updated bathrooms and every room has a decent-to-great view. Food was out of this world, for an all-inclusive. Been to lots of places where you only get great food at the a-la-carte restaurants, but even the buffet here had super good food! Gorgeous beach!
Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Well kept older resort
Nice clean resort with easy access to beach. Food was good and plentiful. Evening entertainment was great, better than expected. Mostly older couples (50's-60's), but lots of fun! Rooms were clean and inviting.
Hotel Bella Costa: terrible resort
the hotel is 4 1/2 stars it more like a 2 stars, water was dripping from every celling lobby, hall way , restaurants,, very poor service we feel like every time we ask the server for something they look at us like we dis turn them , the beach was terrible we go on vacation every year and it the first time I am write bad reviews, the room smell so bad, the maid was very good, and the front desk service was good, we went there for my niece wedding 40 of us was not happy with the resort
Memories Jibacoa: Resort is average
I stayed at VILLA JIBACOA. There was a tropical storm for 3 days and one night my shower stall filled up with sewage. I stayed with a friend one night and the next day was moved to a new room. On the whole it wasn't a bad trip but quite the experience.
Hotel Los Cactus: Fantastic resort!
Although it's an older resort, the rooms were adequate and we had 2 balconies and a bedroom and sitting room. The rooms were clean and the staff was warm and helpful! Would definitely go back! The beach was amazing and the food though sometimes bland, was plentiful and we had a large variety of choices. Bring some hot sauce :)
Sunscape Curacao Resort: Good times in Curacao
All of the staff were really nice. Room was clean and adequate to our needs. Food was excellent in the seafood restaurant. The beach was beautiful and the entertainment really added fun. It is close to an excellent sea life park and has bus access to Willemstad
Sunscape Curacao Resort: service
Too slow serving coffee at breakfast time. Should have had the same waitress every day so we could have tipped her got picked up for the airport at 5.30 AM There should have been at least a coffee and a muffin for us.
Breezes Bahamas: Wonderful Holiday
The Breezes Bahamas was a great resort. The beach and pool areas were kept very clean. The food was very good and plenty of variety. The rooms were not anything special but clean and comfortable. We were there for a wedding and even though the weather didn't cooperate the staff went out of their way to make sure everything went off perfectly.
Hotel Bella Costa: Disappointed
Stayed at the Breezes Bella Costa Nov 19 to Nov 26. I've been to Cuba many times so I know what to expect however I would not consider this a 4* as rated instead more a 3*. The grounds and common areas were well maintained However the resport is very old and most rooms were in need of repairs. Our room had a constant leak as did other rooms. They say the beach area was hit by a storm so it is no longer a wide level area which is what I am use to in Cuba. Despite all that I still had a great time [... read more]
Breezes Bahamas: Resort is okay
Stayed for 7 days and we really enjoyed our stay. My wife is restricted to a wheel chair and we had easy access around the facility and to our room 161 which was on the main floor with easy access to the main grounds. There was a problem with moisture in the room which came from the pool area and unfortunately made it physically difficult for my wife. The washroom was very spacious to move her wheel chair around and had direct access to the shower area - excellent. It still requires additional s [... read more]
Memories Jibacoa: Fantastic resort once again!
This resort is perfect if you just want to get away from everything and relax. This is my 4th time here and I would definitely go back again. The staff are one of the highlights. They greet you like a long lost relative they haven't seen for a year. The grounds are always kept immaculate as are the rooms. The food is above par for Cuba, lots of choice. Not a lot of night life and its an older crowd but still lots to do. Another highlight is the reef right off the beach - great snorkeling and scu [... read more]
