Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Good Resort

Our room was excellent. The only problem we had was getting English channels on the TV. The food was good in all the places we went except for the Bavaro buffet and they weren't able to keep the food hot. Overall the resort was very good!

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Great Resort

We were very pleased with the rooms we received this year. The in room amenities were great. The rooms were within a short walk to the pool, the beach, and the Bavaro lobby. Staff were very friendly. We look forward to returning next year. The Palladium is our report of choice in Punta Cana. We had a rather bad experience in 2016, but our issues were addressed by management before we left the resort.

TRS Turquesa: Wonderful Trip!

The grounds were lovely. The pools were great - but it was impossible to get a spot around the main pools. The beach was wonderful and we easily found spots throughout the day. Swim up pools are awesome - and those areas allowed us to have bar service and sit in the sun on a lounger by the pool. Food was great, especially at the Royal Gourmet. There are language barriers. Grand Palladium Select White Sand: So, so.

First impression was of the kabal buffet. Not very good. Food was room temp to cold. The "lake" one had to cross from the beach or buildings to the pool or buffet/restaurants had a very high bridge to climb and cross. Had to be for the pontoon boat to go underneath it. Which did not run all week because to lake was too low. The food at ribs and more was no better than the buffet. It all tasted fine, but was not hot. When we arrived we were told 20 minutes. 45 minutes and three groups that were behind us in the line we got in. Service and food, excellent! Don't remember if this was at kantenah or colonial. If you have anything with wheels, chair or stroller, don't go here. And the three story room buildings have no elevator. Ground floor has a step or two. Beach swimming is a chore. Many rocks and coral close to shore. The place is very large and a bit confusing to get around. The "travel club" people get preferred treatment. We were told they were at about 70% capacity. Buffet seating was fine, but a la cartes was a chore. Glad they were not at 90 or more! Would I go back? Only at half the price.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great resort don't get a massage in the spa!!!!

Upon arrival we were all upgraded to the lady Hamilton side of the resort, it's got nice spacious rooms, comfortable beds, upgraded washrooms and the housekeeping did a great job making sure our extra needs of cleaning were met!! martin at the pool bar was awesome!!! He made sure, we as there were 14 of us in the party were never without a drink and was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had lots to drink!!! The spa sales team did entice my husband to purchase the couples massgae package, upon arrival in the spa we were greeted with a questionnaire that was required to complete inwhich we did, my husband who is On a blood thinner medication Entered his medication and let the staff know he had a aortic valve replaced 4!years ago, and we were there for what was to be a relaxation massage ???? The day after the massage my husband felt unwell, and his arm was in pain, day 2 was worse! This was brought to the front desks attention, they requested we speak to security and the manager on duty, in which we did at that time the resort Nurse was called, she was not listening to my husband and since we were travelling with 2 REgistered Nurses we were Requiring a tensor wrap to wrap my husbands arm, she refused said he needed to see the hotel doctor for $450 USA dollars, the next am! With the nurses strong accent she wasn't listening to my husbands words, he went to his room feeling frustrated! The next am, we visited the nurse and were instructed again the doctor would be the one to provide the tensor only after the $450, but since we were flying back the next morning to Canada we decided To keep Icing, resting , elevating and arm until we got home to Canada, the am Of our flight I went to the front desk around 545 only to catch the front desk staff sleeping on the job!!!! I took a picture of her, and kindly woke Her to ask about getting a refund of my husbands massage, she had me speak To a manager who offered to upgrade my next visit to the same hotel, disappointed to say the least when I went for coffee and to find 4 more cleaning staff sleeping on the lounge couches in the upper level!!! I enjoyed my am coffee and waited to speak to this manager with the paper to show me what they offered, I was only looking for the refund as my husband had not enjoyed his last 2 days of his holidays due to this massage he was uncomfortable and in a little pain, upon arrival home to Canada my husband has since been diagnosed with Compartment Syndrome, from the Massage, and if left for another 12-16 hours he would be without his left arm!!!! Disappointed to say the least about the questions At the massage, the lanaguage barrier and basically the hotel just didn't care!!!!!!

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Wedding destination

We enjoyed our stay. Come for a wedding of our cousin...beautiful backdrop...the ocean!!! Large place with many different pools to change up the days rest and relaxation. Sad day when it was time to go home = (

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Phenomenal Complex

This was our 6th time to the Grand Palladium! We love it here. It is a huge complex with numerous activities, entertainment options as well as expansive pools and beautiful beaches with ability to snorkel right off the resort in beautiful reefs, swim in salt water pool or play in the white sand! We travel with our now ten year old son and find the resort to be very safe. It is a large facility set in the mayan jungle and we enjoy the natural surroundings, the flora and fauna. The entertainment, rooms, service and impeccable grounds at the Grand Palladium are truly GRAND!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Great Family Resort

We stayed at the Grand Palladium from Jan 21-28. Overall we really liked this resort. Pros: - People of Palladium keep you very entertained whether it's at the beach, pool or theatre. - the kids club was great. They have a great guide that lays out what the children do daily and they have things for the kids to get involved in at night. My daughter loved the "Mini Shows". - loved the beach. Always smiling and willing to help out with whatever you need. - buffet food had a lot of variety. - loved the Bamboo and Mexican restaurants. - absolutely loved that it was outside of Puerto Vallarta. There are so many cute smaller towns around to check out. - pools and kids watersliding - awesome! The kids didn't want to leave the pool because of the slides. We never got to hang at the adult pool but it looked really nice and a more quiet place to hangout. Cons: - rooms are not that nice. For a family of 4, we had 2 double beds. Beds were super uncomfortable. They are getting a little run down but honestly we didn't hang in the room that much so it really wasn't an issue. - reservations at the restaurants were non-existent or at least it was for us. Heard you could download an app for reservations but it wouldn't work for me, always saying they were fully booked. In saying that though, we did get to go 4 times. What we found was because we had the kids we had to eat earlier so we would go between 5:30 - 6 and always get in. - service at the main buffet was very hit or miss. One day it would be amazing and the next we barely got a drink to go with our food and plates would be piling up on the table. Last note: There are so many comments about the resort being hilly and spread out. It definitely is but they do have ramps for wheelchairs access. The resort has a lot to offer that is why it is spread out. It was nice to walk and get some exercise.

Grand Palladium Palace: 2nd Time Around

This was our second visit to the Grand Palladium Palace Resort & Spa. They had made a few changes since our first visit 2 years ago. We really enjoyed the upgrades to the lobby area, the pool area, and the room was very nicely decorated. The only thing we didn't like about the changes was the setup of the room with the bathroom enclosure: we could see privacy being an issue for some people with the frosted glass partition and, as we'd read in many previous reviews, there was a lot of water t [... read more]hat leaked from the shower into the bed area. Aside from that, we have only positive things to say. The restaurants were consistently delicious and had great options, we found different things to eat at the buffet every breakfast/lunch/dinner that were equally delicious. Loved the easiness of grabbing a hotdog from the cart around the pool or grabbing some fries and fried chicken at the beach snack bar. Also loved the late-night snack offerings in the sports bar--perfect after a night of drinking and dancing in the disco or lobby. Staff are overall amazing, friendly and efficient, from the waitstaff and bartenders to the gardeners, maids, and entertainment team. They made our stay feel like home and like a lot of fun. We love the size of the Palladium complex. We like to stay on the resort for the entirety of our stay and the amount of available activities onsite really added to the fun of our week. Almost every day we took a break from the pool or beach and either participated in pool games or went to the sports center to play basketball or tennis. One of our favourite activities was renting bikes for $5USD each: because the complex is so huge with so many pathways, it was really fun to tour it that way. Another favourite activity was the spa... We spent $10USD each to use the spa facilities, which included cold and hot pools, a sauna, an ice room, steam room, relaxation areas, and an area to apply your own mud/clay bath. The overall resort is beautiful and Bavaro Beach can't be beat. Even though it might be busy, there are always loungers available and lots of shady spots under the beautiful palm trees. You could walk the beach for hours if you wanted to. We would definitely recommend the Grand Palladium Palace to people who enjoy a great, fun, relaxing vacation with good food and service.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Fantastic All-Inclusive Resort

The hotel was huge. Friendly staff and front desk personnel. We went to 4 a la carte restaurants (Italian,Asian,Mexican,Chez Bubbas BBq) and the 2 buffet restaurants. Great variety of food. The a la carte restaurants paid particular attention to any food allergies anyone might have had. The beaches were nice and not crowded. We could always find lounges. Grand Palladium Vallarta: Beautiful location

Loved our stay at the Grande Paladium. Good food with good service most of the time. Lots of activities to participate in. Great place to take kids, with the Kids Club and the kids pool. Our room left a little more to be desired. From a dirty tub and sink, to a floor that was never swept or washed the whole week. The room smelt musty, that got worse when the air conditioner was turned on. We asked to be moved closer to our daughters family and were told to return the next morning. They didn't want tripcentral to think we had been unhappy with our room, lol.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: True paradise!

This resort was absolutely outstanding, from the staff to the beautifully manicured grounds. I have stayed at 3 other resorts prior to this one, and the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton far surpassed the others. The staff was very approachable and helpful at all times. This resort boasts many a la carte restaurants , which served very high quality dishes with highly trained servers. The best part was that no reservations were necessary for these restaurants. I found this extremely convenient, and w [... read more]e only ever had to wait once for maybe 10mins to be seated. The beaches were also beautiful whith lost of natural coral to explore if you like to snorkel. The pools were nicely cooled which proved very refreshing on those really hot days. A truly amazing experience for my husband and I, and we definitely plan to return in the future.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: My Paradise

Grand Palladium Punta Cana this is our 3rd visit and we call it home away from home everything you can ask for is there! Excellent through and through we have yet been disappointed. William the bartender is amazing! Excellent value for your money! Stunning beach food is amazing I can go on and on but you must experience it for yourself! Highly recommend Grand Palladium Punta Cana!!! Can't wait to go again!!!!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Great times with great friends

Great Resort. Good food. Lots of sunshine. Beautiful beach with aqua blue water. A++++ A lot of things to participate in. Staff was very friendly and hardworking. We may even go back to this resort one day 😆

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Because of the great weather combined with a fabulous hotel and staff this has to be one of my and my wife's best hoiliday ever.

To start with the hotel and grounds where just plan breathtaking but what makes all of this even better was the genuine,helpful and beautiful staff the greeted our party through out our visit. Whether it was the greeting at upon arrival to the staff in the restaurants, the gardening personnel or the security officers or just a staff member passing by on the walkway; they all seemed genuinely happy with their environment and always wore a smile and where pleased to acknowledge other persons in th [... read more]eir presence. I have very little to say that was not positive about our visit to this resort or for that matter to Jamacia. this being ourt frist time in Jamacia we where very pleased with pretty well all aspects of the trip. from the quick handling of our group at the airport ( with all of the paperwork and personnel in order to get us to the resort ) From the informative bus driver, to the reception and introduction at the resort , our air Canada represntative, the helpfull and courtiuos staff throughout our stay. Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great time at the fair priced hotel.

This resort is a huge resort… It is beautiful… The The grounds are Beautiful… The food is awesome… And it is fair price for your dollar… The lady hands inside is definitely in better condition and newer looking than the grand Playdium side… But all in all definitely a fun place could place the only real negative is if you are not in good walking condition or if you are elderly and I don't like to walk… This resort might not be the one for you… There are shuttles… You need s [... read more]ome patients to just relax and wait if you're going to wait for the shuttle stop for my wife and I… Would love to walk and run so we love this resort no problem Mon!! 🏝🇯🇲🌴🏝🇯🇲🌴🏝😁

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: What a nice resort

Just came back from spending 7 days at the grand palladium bavaro The resort was clean and absolutely amazing no complaints whats so ever . Great for couple and families Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone The palladium has plenty of bars pools and over a dozen restaurants

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Terrific Resort

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was excellent. The food was very good including the a la carte restaurants. We enjoyed the beaches and especially being able to snorkel right off Sunset Cove beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All and all a very satisfying week.

TRS Turquesa: Excellent resort, great service

We travelled to the Royal Suites, Jan 15 - 22, 2017. This is our second time there, first time was about 5 years ago. The grounds and beach were beautiful, and the rooms, lobby areas, and walkways were spotless. There are now 2 exclusive restaurants for the Royal Suites guests, and the food was very good at both, which included lobster, scallops, shrimp etc, and several different cuts of steaks. We also ate at the Japanese tappanyaki restaurant, which was also very good. We went to the nigh [... read more]tly entertainment in the smaller theater and it was very good, then to the lobby bar at the Royal Suites. The entertainment there was more of a piano type bar scene, but very good. The bartenders, Juan and Mabel could make any drink you could think of, and were very attentive and friendly. I don't think I have had that good service at any other resort. If I had any negatives for our trip, it was that you had to get up at 5:15am - 5:30am to put a towel down on the chairs and palapa hut to reserve it, before they were taken. If you went to the pool or beach after 6:00am, all of the chairs were reserved, even though there are signs that you couldn't do this. Some people reserved spots around the pool and beach, and moved back and forth throughout the day, taking up 2 spaces. Over all, we think that this was one of the best trips we have ever had.
