Memories Cayo Largo: Lovely Resort

I was happy to see the resort and grounds just as beautiful as I remember when it was the Sol.. Of course the big setback now is the beach in front of Memories Cayo Largo has been washed up over the years , which is no fault of the resort. It was still beautiful , just not as much of it , and can no longer walk the beach from resort to Paraiso and Sirenis…. The ocean in front of resort can [... read more] be quite rough.. 5 of the 7 days was red flagged.. The lifeguards were always there and attentive. Still very much a stunning location to enjoy Mother Nature at her finest. Wonderful Ranchero restaurant overlooking beach which had great house band play during lunch. The buffets were quite good considering the food shortages in Cuba right now. Always choice of fish, chicken,pork, beef and assorted vegetables. Pasta bar and pizza bar quite busy for dinner.. which is a good sign. The snack bar by the pool had the best Spanish coffees and Pina Coladas, as well as good sandwiches and burgers . My room was fine. Hot water, A/C TV all worked fine, and had a lovely balcony . Very friendly staff..everyone employee I encountered was so cheerful and helpful . One negative thing I can say is that there were flies all over the buffet tables and the food was basically uncovered for the duration of meal times.. Perhaps food should be covered up and have an employee serve the food to the guests..?. I remember Memories Caribe did this during Covid precautions .. As far as Covid precautions went..can’t say there were any .. business as usual ..very few masks were seen and no social distancing .. This was not an issue for me at all .. In general, the resort was very clean.. always tp in the bathrooms and beautiful flowers everywhere.. I really enjoyed the saltwater pool… and I’m not a pool person . Very nice vibe and various activities going on in the afternoon. I enjoyed my stay very much . Wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. I feel my trip was very good value.

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: ONE WEEK STAY AT MEMORIES TRINIDAD

Long trip, 2-3hrs from Santa Clara to the resort. But beautiful scenery and get a feel for rural life and small villages in the interior of Cuba. The overall experience turned out to be decent after a bit of a rough start. There were short comings regarding paying extra for the "Diamond Club" service. 1. While we had an ocean view room, we did not get a king bed which is strange since the resort was far under capacity, we had 2 twins 2. The civer sheet on one bed had what appeared t [... read more]o be dried blood on it. It was never changed during our stay, surely the chamber maid should've have noticed. 3. There is no exclusivity for diamond club patrons at the beach and rarely did the staff come to see if any of the individuals there wanted a drink. Overall not a big deal since we all enjoyed the walk to the beach bar, but why advertise the service if you aren't going to provide it. Frankly, I don't care about the area being identified as "exclusive" or "special" by ropes or barriers (that just draws unwanted attention), but surely they could dress up the raised beach beds with cover sheets and sheets for shade. 4. We did not receive a welcome drink when we checked in as advertised. Gabriel was an excellent professional manager. Humberto at the front desk needs to smile and be more friendly, we did not receive a good first impression when we arrived. 5. The servers were generally pleasant throughout, however, they don't understand how to serve upgraded clientel in a exclusive setting ie in the dining room. I would have to ask for the Salt and pepper and tobasco every single morning, even though the same staff served us daily. Anywhere else it would be at the table already or shortly after sitting. Only one of them was very friendly and outgoing (a male by the name of Reimer), the ladies serving us only occasionally smiled and did not appear like they wanted to be there. We tipped everyone everywhere throughout the resort everyday regardless of the service. 6. They only offered the a la carte restaurant one night the whole week. That was disappointing. The meal was decent so it would've been nice to have 2 more nights of a la carte as advertised for the diamond club upgrade. We went into town to eat. Positive points: Private car from airport to resort and back. Well kept grounds. Beach is beautiful as is the ocean. Relatively clean. Although I picked up many empty beer cans and plastic cups daily walking the beach. if you really like snorkeling, cienfuegos is much better. Lots of lounge chairs (but the resort was no where close to capacity). Food selection and quality was better than expected for Cuba. Staff at the outdoor sports bar were all excellent, especially Rachel, Aila and Islander (not sure if I spelled their names correctly). Water sports crew were all excellent. Claudia and Manuel at beach bar were very accommodating, attentive and friendly. The outdoor BBQ lunch held on the beach was great, they should do that twice a wk. The dinner reservation fellow was very friendly and spoke good English. Also helped with ideas of place to go and things to see. The pool was decent, although a bit chilly (got better as the week went on), the hot water spouts were great. Never ran out of toilet paper any where which was a pleasant surprise (we brought lots of our own in case - gave it away). The pizza at the snack bar was good, staff there also very good. The evening shows were well done for such a small resort, it's unfortunate there weren't more clients attending. The store x2 and pharmacy are decent, we used all 3 of them. The selection of upgraded liquor was probably the most notable benefit of the Diamond Club service. Although sometimes they forgot to serve us from that selection, we would have to remind them. Bring bug spray and anti-itch products for the tiny sand flies that come out when the wind dies down - everyone had lots of bites and they are very itchy! But the gorgeous beach is worth it. Be nice if they had the funds to fog every few days.

Memories Jibacoa: Nice resort for activities

Overall we had a nice stay ! Food was good (we were worried about this mostly). Activities were great (snorkeling directly at the beach, pedalo, kayak, ping pong, tennis, billard, activities at the pool, a hiking nearby with a point of view of the resort). No rain except the last day in the evening. In general, very satisfied with our stay. Only negative points were the shower not draining water fast enough and the shower curtain was not waterproof so floor was wet after a shower.

Resonance Blu Varadero: Awful

We stayed from Dec 26 to Jan 2. Took over 24 hours to get toilet paper in the room. None in the room when checked in. I had a large family with us traveling 4 rooms total. All had to move rooms because of cockroaches. No beach towels in the room, told to tip maids to get them. Drinks nothing frozen available.. ice they made with the tap water as well as all juices, surprised Noone was sick. I have been to Cuba before and enjoyed it. Will not be back anytime soon. Not sure if covid played a part  [... read more]in this but I was not impressed at all.

Resonance Blu Varadero: A few bumps to smooth out but overall a relaxing week away

We arrived Jan 1 and enjoyed a very sunny and relaxing week. Check-in went smoothly for us and our room was ready within minutes. However our friends who travelled with us waited until 6:30pm for their room. Room # 39303 was a great room, newly renovated with view of the activity pool. Working air condition, no bugs and working toilet (I heard others complain about such issues). However, we only had one king size bed despite there being 4 of us (2 adults plus 12 and 13 year old). It took one n [... read more]ight, and two requests but we did receive an additional bed. Our maid was great, however we didn't always receive 4 towels and had to ask for more. We read reviews prior to coming and brought our own beach towels which was helpful. Food options appeared plentiful at first, however by day 3 I became very tired of the same food being served in the buffet every day. So I decided it was time to avoid the buffet and just go to the snack bar for a burger. This turned out to no better as all they had available was a ham and cheese sandwich. The supply seemed to replenish later in the week and we had hotdogs and hamburgers once again. The a la carte restaurants were a bit of an issue to book so we ended up with 2 at the end of the week. We were disappointed that we were unable to get reservations for the Japanese restaurant. We saw it closed a few times. We did have a nice lobster dinner at poolside on the Thursday night which was very appreciated as like I mentioned, I was starting to becoming very tired of the buffet. We spent time at both pools and the beach. I was shocked by the lack of lounge chairs at the resort. You had to make a decision each day where you wanted to be and "claim" a spot at 7am or there would be no vacant chairs to be found. We took a walk down the beach and saw at the adjacent resort that they had stacks of chairs available. The staff were friendly and seemed to try their best to ensure we had an enjoyable vacation. I can appreciate that they were likely understaffed and fatigued. Overall we had wonderful week. I felt the overall value of this resort was excellent. We've only been to Cuba once before pre-COVID, and although our experience this time was inferior, I recognize that they are still recovering from COVID and there will be a few hiccups to overcome along the way.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: Excellent Cuban Resort

If you can get past the food, this was a beautiful beach and clean resort. We enjoyed the adults only section of the resort. The restaurants tried their best but food was meh. I brought trail mix with me and I’m glad I did! The people who work there go out of their way to please you. The biggest problem is the shortages at times.

Resonance Blu Varadero: Worst Travel Experience I've ever had!!!!!

Hotel was disgusting! Dirty rooms, cockroaches, no toilet paper (until we moved rooms). Juices and slushy mixes for cocktails were made from tap water! The waitress in the Italian a-la-carte yelled at us because we asked her to repeat the menu. Jellyfish at the beach. The ONLY good thing about the hotel was our maid (in our second room) and the staff at the buffet, in particular, the omelet lady...she was fantastic!

Grand Memories Varadero: Grand Memories Varadero - Well well well - Big

1. Grand memories - Property is very big. They have a 10 seater gold cart that pick you up and drop you off on the resort depending on the block you stay in. We were block 15 close to the quiet pool but far from the beach and halfway to the party pool. 2. The locks on the balconies did not lock. they remained open the entire trip. They closed but the manual chain locks were broken in a good portion of the resort. Ground floor not recommended for this reason unless your sliding door locks.  [... read more] 3. Toilet paper and water were scarce on the resort. We paid our cleaning services to leave us enough toilet paper and water daily. We found that we were hiding toilet paper in our luggage and safe so we would have enough each day and to be able to carry it with us at night going to the main lobby bar and disco. Trust me there was none at night in these 2 spots and this is where the entire resort hung out in the evening. so rather than trekking back to your room carry it with you so you don't have a problem. The water they were only leaving 1 for 2 in a room. So we spoke with them tipped them well and we had enough for the week. *IMPORTANT FOR THOSE WHO WANT BLENDER AND SPECIAL DRINKS* Beside the disco and the italian al la carte is a lobby bar. The drinks are amazing and the bartender is Awesome. Tip her well. (Mel)She will make you some pina colada s that you will crave daily. 4. Food not fussy trust me i can get by. NO WINE, FRIES, BURGERS, on this resort. NO WINE!!! purchased for 15.00 off the resort in the cigar smoke shop downtown varadero walk to the back. Resort did have wine for sale only Red sold out of white. BUY BUY BUY BUY your wine at duty free the cartons its your best bet if your a wine lover. The food was the same daily however if they had bread they had no butter if they had coffee they had no milk, bacon no eggs (oh get your coffee every morning in main lobby bar it was the BEST but there is a time limit cut off. 5. Party pool had some plumbing issues at the swim up bar. Not in the actual water but the bar itself was closed for 3 days so they made a pop up bar station under a palm tree where the selection was slim which means you had to walk to the 24 hour snack bar to get tap beer. 6. Block 15 is across from anyone that paid the extra to have premium room. Don't do it not worth it as the rooms are just as far from the beach and alcohol wasn't stalked daily in the room. you might have to push to get it. BLOCK 10 or 20 central.. 7. 24 hour snack bar is quite the walk at the end of the night specially if your in block 15 and surrounding area, so flag down your cart he will drop you right at the door. 8. I am sure you all know to be up early to grab your beach chair. The entertainment on the beach is so fun and you should participate. breathing exercises and stretching in the morning, zumba, dance lessons it was so fun.... get it on the fun don't be shy. ENTERTAINMENT was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. remember at 3pm they move from the beach to the main pool. 9. Beach bbq daily was the same every day. Bring your toilet paper as the washrooms here had nothing. You ask and they didn't have so carry it with you. The bbq daily was good but patience is key as they only put so much on at time. so your waiting and the smell is making you even more hungry. 10. Wasnt planning on watching TV but they didn't work on those days i needed a knapp. 11. Towel Exchange was at the main pool. you could do this daily. 12. Take a walk on the beach after midnight to check out the glowing specks in the sand its quite cool. 13. Wifi was ok. you get a small slip that once activated lasts for 4 hours of use. Once expired just go to the main lobby and get a new one. They did say a few times that the systems were down but persistency always wins and we were able to get new passwords. 14. Cuba is definitely a safe space. 15. Hour bus ride from the airport. Maybe 45 mins with a few drop offs. I want you to know i had a great trip however these are the things that stuck out., therefore if i can make your trip and safer, sanitary,enjoyable and comfortable these are the things that i would want to know. was with 4 of my friends and after ironing out the problems with the rooms we had a good time made lots of memories at Grand Memories. The people on this resort from all over were super friendly and now have friends. Room Quality - same as most - somewhere to change and sleep so lower the expectation. Cleanliness - they cleaned it every day. Upon arrival though the tub wasn't clean and we had no towels. Once addressed the towel issue was fixed and tub cleaned. Affordable with a gorgeous beach and good entertainment at the beach, party pool and shows. Somewhere to lay your head and shower at the end of the day and you can spend your money on other things like dolphin swim, catamaran horse back riding any excursion just remember to negotiate price. They always come down. ** whatever floats your boat** Cuba is affordable with the best beaches ever. So if your not picky you'll enjoy it. As long as the hotel is clean your good to go. Fancy and elegant you should travel somewhere else. Good company, clean hotel, food to eat and drinks your all set. Nice public areas on the resort. you wont be board and I truly had a great time. Don't rate your hotel on 5 star rating some 3 star hotels are nicer than the 5 star rated ones. HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to other resorts while your out and about and asking if you can have a quick look around to decide if that's somewhere you will want to stay. Totally worth your time and they welcomed it no problem or hassle. Travelled from Nov 28 to Dec 3 2022. Sincere and honest review from Rica I enjoyed my trip and so will you!!!!!

Resonance Blu Varadero: Won’t go back!

Our main complaint was that the maids were seen everywhere but we couldn’t get clean towels, our beds made, water etc. when asked we were told they have no more towels. We checked out with the same towels glasses and sheets as we checked in with. The food wasn’t bad, our phone and TV were cut in half so on the days it was cold and we were in early we had no tv. Resonance Blu Varadero: Less then 2 starts

Extremely late checking. Probably less the %30 Beach chairs available for all guess, not uses able to eat at fine dining, few times finished breakfast without coffee, through out the resort bathroom cleanness not up to standards for any one here.ps, ps, ps,

Memories Cayo Largo: Highly recommended

Wonderful service with great staff. Would go back tomorrow. Not impressed with Sunwing flight delays and cancellations. They could at least provided more information on website and saved us much hassle at the airport.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Just ok

The people of the resort were great, friendly and welcoming. The food was pretty much the same all the time and without flavours. The beds are uncomfortable and the sandflies are terrible. I wouldn't go back here. But not a terrible place by far just not worth the money.

As always, let me start of by saying I am a seasoned Cuba traveler, and with that I have a lot to compare to...over 20, 3 and 4+ star hotels within the last few years. Since November of 2021 (pandemic times), 6 hotels in Cuba. I am comparing Cuba to Cuba. I’ve never been to Mexico or Dominican. If you’ve been to one of these, that’s wha [... read more]t my comparison is based upon: Hotel Parasio (Pestana), Colonial in Cayo Coco, Memories Flamenco, Tryp Cayo Coco, Melia Jardines Del Ray, Occidental Varadero, Roc Arenas, Grand Memories, Melia Varadero, Be Live Collection CSM, Play Cayo Santa Maria, Memories Parasio, Sol Varadero, Playa Costa Verde Holguin and Grand Sirenas CSM. Top faves would be Playa Cayo Santa Maria, Melia Jardines Del Ray, Grand Sirenas and Sol Varadero. These range from 3 to 4.5 stars. Some 30 years old, some 4. Tips about reviews: If at the top of the review you see “1 contribution”, that’s a red flag, perhaps management. Also, be ware that on social media, some admins will delete anything negative, so you won’t see the true story. Rooms: Sunwing pics are 100% not accurate, they are what the prototype for the new rooms are GOING to be like. The resort is 20 years old, so are the rooms. While NO, I don’t go to Cuba for the rooms, it’s not a pleasant vacation when the sheet/blankets smell and you can’t sleep, can’t shower cause the water is only cold, or like us, burned us cause out of no where went super hot! Same as with the super loud AC, can’t sleep. No fan in the room, and super dark. Rusty old lamps that are enough light of a candle, hard to find stuff in the dark. The electric sockets also came out of the wall when you tried to take a plug out. TV didn’t work (fuzzy screen), not a big deal but one night we just wanted to chill in the room. One lady had the sliding door fall on her, one lady claims she was electrocuted in the shower. I don’t care about the layers of paint, or stains in the tub, but safety stuff like that is pretty important. This was the biggest “Con” of the resort. Lack of sleep due to AC noise and smells. Entertainment: I wish they had an on site disco. The shows were great. Some of the staff were great, some bothered us (chasing us down the beach) about leaving “gifts” even though I hadn’t interacted with them all week. Buffet: Note that we went 1st opening week. Management puts out the best of the best so that word gets around how great it is, and more people book. I spoke with them about this, it won’t always be the same food. It was a good variety, good pastas, but again…I don’t want people booking in say Feb, and being disappointed that “They said the food was good!”. The 1st and 2nd day staff were pretty good, on it if we needed water/coffee/wine. We tipped. Then 3rd day on, we noticed service getting worse and worse…maybe because we weren’t dropping $20 per meal (which is what we saw some people were doing, that’s a months salary, no wonder now $5 bills get laughed at, what did some people create?!) they started ignoring us. Meat grill guy was nice the first day, then day 4 told us we need to pay for lobster $20 per piece or give him our clothes lol. Management said everything in the buffet was free. We got the lobster, and it was surprise….raw. Lobby: The 3 gentleman that work there are amazing, such hard workers! They made fabulous drinks, always quick. I wish there was more seating around the lobby bar as it got packed in there fast in the evening. Only about 10 tables with 2 chairs each inside, so when it rains, you can’t even move around. I would suggest adding more tables to the night show area, at the back, kind of extend the lobby area. Beach: Ah, the big question you read on the forums/fb pages: “Is there a beach?!” Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Day 1 the water was up to the rocks, no sand visible. By day 6, 20 ft of sand. It changes according to the moon/winds/tides. If there is no beach, you can take the train (it’s basically a tractor, painted to look like a train, there’s no railing) to Playa Sirena or Paraiso, however…we were told it won’t always be free. Same as with drinks, food and shade spots at Playa Sirena, won’t always be free! Just note, it’s about 20 minutes and goes over very bumpy sand roads. If you have back issues, are senior or what not, it’s not very comfortable. Taxi one way for 2 people was $8USD on credit card, and goes much faster. Pools: Great layout, I like a good pool vibe after the beach in the PM. Not a whole lot of shade, spots get taken. Somewhat clean, although some people mentioned the pool bar pool was a bit smelly. Snack Bar: Amazing service, had a few things on the menu each day (Burgers, fries sometimes, shrimp sandwich, cabbage/cucumber/avocado salad) I appreciate a good old ham and cheese after too much vino blanco during the night haha. Note: I don’t go to Cuba to make friends with staff. I don’t go with rose colored glasses and ignore the bad because of the friendly people. I will still review the “negative”, people have a right to know before they spend their hard earned $ on vacation. I don’t bother reading reviews that state “I’ve been coming here since 1941, it’s the best! I never go any where else”, why? Because they don’t have anything to compare to. How do you know it’s the best when you’ve never been anywhere else?! Lol. Then you get comments like “If you want 5 star go to a 5 star!” Well, I went to Sol Varadero, 30 year old hotel that’s 3 star, and almost everything was much better, service, rooms, etc. I went to Cayo Largo to try it out. I had a great vacation either way! Would I go back? Sure, if the price is under $750 out of Toronto for a week, it’s worth it 😊

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Good resort

The employees do there best with what they have . Keep it very clean. Did run out items but would be a day and ithe item would be back. Rooms are not all newly renovated like the sight claims. Don't fly out of Toronto and don't fly with Sunwing. Do your research.

Grand Memories Santa Maria: Memories of Memories

The resort is not well kept. Many things not working like lights, tv, outlets, etc. Basic room was not very good, the upgraded rooms looked nicer. Cuban people were amazing as always. Still enjoyed the weather and found a way to have a good time, even though the resort had several food and drink shortages throughout the week. Toilet paper napkins at every meal were an extra nice surprise. Cuba is always a place where you need to lower your expectations but post-covid Cuba will turn many away.

Memories Paraiso: Terrible

Paid for Diamond Club. Don’t bother. I’ll start at the beginning. No welcome drink upon arrival. No special treatment with regard to check in line ups, no ocean view room available. Stuck us in a horrible old room. Told us to come back in the morning for an ocean view room. Returned in the morning to be told still no room. Asked to come back in the afternoon. Keep in mind we’ve now spent a whole day trying to get the room we paid for. Went back in the afternoon. Still no room. Went to the  [... read more]Sunwing Rep and refused to accept the room they put us in. She did her best and managed to move us to Sanctuary Resort. A nicer and adult only resort within the Memories complex of hotels. Finally happy with a new room, still not ocean view that we paid for but better than the other one… then we discover that they’ve put us in a room neighbouring a couple physically fighting and screaming and yelling (I think this was done purposefully) allllll night long. Security etc involved every single night. Didn’t sleep for 3 nights. Spoke to reception… they were “working on it”… amidst all this, for food poisoning and we were in bed for 2 days straight. The food: horrible. Worst I’ve ever seen in all my travels to Cuba. And trust me, I don’t go there for the food. I even brought my own bread, peanut butter etc. Thank God for that. I understand the country is struggling. I just wish I had know how bad it was. I wouldn’t have wasted my money. No premium liquor for our diamond club either. No vodka at all. No gin. Only cheap rum and beer to be had. Toilet paper was hard to come by as that is also what they used for napkins in all the restaurants… Bugs: I have over a hundred bites. They spray the whole resort twice a day with big trucks but it doesn’t help. Mosquitoes there are absolutely horrendous. Everyone was covered in red swollen bites. All said, worst trip ever and not worth a penny of what we spent. Deal or no deal. I will never be back. I’ll spend more and head to Mexico or Jamaica. WAY better money spent.

Grand Memories Santa Maria: Diamond Club worth it? Oh yes :)

We had a very nice time at the Grand Memories hotel. Everyone was working so hard to make the stay enjoyable for everyone. We learned that the hotel was operational this year after 2 years of closing during covid but all in all it was a nice experience and definitely worth the Diamond Club. Andy and the Diamond Club team took care of our needs which were few but being able to book the A La Carte every night was worth it alone. We really really lucked out with an Ocean view as well. The view and  [... read more]location of the building (55) was just amazing. The water was calm on several days and anyone who has been to several Carribean islands knows Cuba boasts some of the best beaches and the Grand did not disappoint with the white sand and crystal clear waters. You can see 40 feet down easily. Watersports were free and taking the Hobie 15 with the beach was free as well..just tips :) The snack buildings on the beach were great (burgers and great pizza) and the coffee and drinks were fantastic. As we were leaving, new dining locations were opening up as well. Most surprising is that the food was not what I was expecting. It was pretty darn good and has come a long long way from what it was before. Cuba has a rustic beauty which I always loved and I return to Canada with a great sense of appreciation for what I have. I recommend the resort, booking through Trip Central and Sunwing as well. Communications were great and the air travel was enjoyable as well.

Memories Paraiso: Amazing resort

Plage exceptionnelle, personnel réellement sympathique et ayant à coeur le bien-être de la clientèle, chambre spacieuse, lit moyennement confortable. L'hôtel aurait besoin d'une peu de rénovations mais cela ne nuit pas à l'expérience. Nourriture très bien pour Cuba. Si vous avez la chance, demandez la chambre 5637 qui a le meilleur emplacement du resort selon moi.

Resonance Blu Varadero: Terrible foe most everything

Rooms were broken for TV AC and phones. Shower head broke off wall and screw ended up in my foot, never replaced our white towels until day we were leaving. Entertainment at the pool and beach was amazing, alcohol for sure watered down. Half the time non of the machines were working to make drinks even the cappuccino machine broken at 3 of the 4 bars. Beds were ok with comfort. But worst part about this resort is your always wrong and seem to be a bother when you ask for anything. I told them ab [... read more]out the thing broken and they didn’t even want to fix it. So we just left it after asking twice. Could have felt with everything if the staff were not as bad as they are. The front desk staff seems like they hated being at work. No one was friendly. And staying this we didn’t even make any big complaints. Oh and we had to keep using main bathrooms because our toilet didn’t flush. Big time this resort should be a 2 star at most. Don’t go here - opt to go to GRAND MEMORIES instead. it is pretty much next door and hands down way better. We went there two of the days on our trip and I wish so bad we would have just flown out following day to get into this hotel.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Resort was ok

The people at the resort was really nice. They do did what the could service was great. The people in the lobby bar were fantastic. The complaints I have were the mosquitoes and sand fleas. They are us alive even having bug spay did not help. They need to fog the place in the morning and evening this would have helped. The place Is very dated needs repair the bed we had was broken they did fix it but the mattress are so worn out it’s sad. The toilet in one of the rooms was not even bolted dow [... read more]n. They need to spend some money in this resort I would only give it a 3 it could be a 4 if they just put some Money into it. Food was Cuba food you would not have starved. no coke witch was sad and no shrimp . I would not come back the reason would be the bugs need to addressed. We talked to others at the airport that went to different resorts and said they had no issues with mosquitoes or sand fleas. They said they fogged every day in the morning and Evening on the beach and in the resort.
