El Dorado Seaside Suites: 5 stars!

This resort was amazing! From the food to the staff and service, you really couldn’t be treated more like royalty. The personal concierges make sure that you have everything you need and more, the service staff provide top notch quality service, and the atmosphere of the resort is friendly and fun. Many bars and restaurants to choose from, and fun daily activities and events right there. Definitely plan on going back!

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Perfection

Wery good ressort .Everything that person need when is on vacation.I will return for sure.The staff is friendly and helpfool ,the food is exelent .The grounds are perfect the rooms clean and activity departement wery good.

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Great resort expect for BDtravels

everything about the resort was great except for BD travels... The two ladies that work there did not know a single thing about anything and up sell you on transportation from the hotel to the excursion but on the receipt they not only put the wrong Hotel name but they didn't even put to way pick up and drop off everything about them sucks... (BD travels that is)

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great resort, 2nd visit.

This hotel is in the jungle. About a 5-10 min trolley ride from the beach and other hotels. It has a dedicated section of beach that is adults only. The buffet is good but small. We preferred going to the Akumal hotel buffet as it had more variety. Overall we had a good time once again and we enjoyed our trip!

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: fantstic resort

3 of us stated in the room, we thought the spa bath was an inconvenience as it just occupied space and we never used it.\ the toilet was too small night shows could be outside in the large paved area more activities needed

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Nice resort - bad beach

If you are a beach lover then pass on this one! Due to the high amount of seaweed we were unable to use the beach. Not happy as I am allergic to the swimming pools due to the chlorine. Not much to do in the evenings after the show.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Awesome times at Occidental at Xcaret

The Occidental at Xcaret resort is amazing! It is a large resort with lots of offerings. Many restaurants, bars, pools and a nice man made beach that is calm. A wonderful trolley will continuously stroll up and down the paths and take you wherever you need to go. This is fun but also helpful for the young and old who may not find it easy to get around as easy. We had an amazing corner preference suite in building 18 on the second floor that had a seating area, large bathroom, mini fridge and large wraparound balcony. The best part is that we were on the quieter side closer to the jungle so the monkeys visited a lot. The attentive staff working at the the resort are always asking if you are enjoying your stay and always say hi as you pass by. The food in the main dining room buffet is delicious and plenty of variety. The canal through the resort is beautiful also. Every evening a traditional Mayan celebration happens we’re they paddle up the canal with drums. There are many shops with items made in Mexico from beautiful sterling jewelry, wood carvings, clothing and more. A wonderful feature about this resort and location is that it is adjoining to the Xcaret adventure park where you can swim through natural waterways, through tunnels and caves, see and swim with dolphins, see manatees, sea turtles, stingrays and so much more! The horse show and Mayan night show is not to miss! This resort is amazing!!

Riu Palace Baja California: Great Resort - Not Sure About Housekeeping

I really don't want our incident to persuade my review of the resort, but I know that I depend a lot on the reviews of other that have been to the resort when searching for my next destination so here goes. The RIU resort itself was amazing. It's fairly new so the rooms were very nice though I feel housekeeping could have done a better job when it came to the cleanliness of the room i.e. replacing used towels, soap and sweeping the floor. We were there during Cabo Fest which made the resort incredibly busy, but it appeared nobody worked during the evenings once everyone was in their rooms. Given where our room was located, I believe my bikini bottoms were stolen from our balcony which is heartbreaking. I only wore them once and they were Michael Kors, so not cheap. I immediately reported the incident and the hotel manager was able to confirm that housekeeping was in our room during the time I suspected them to go missing. Unfortunately nothing was found and the hotel wasn't able to compensate me so I've filed an official report with CMS RIU and I'm still waiting to hear back. I really hope they compensate me another bottom. Really it's the principal of the whole situation and it's disheartening when I work so hard and then go on a vacation and have to worry about locking everything up. The safes aren't big enough to put my suitcase in. This was an unfortunate event as everything else with the resort was great. The gym was small, but all the equipment was new, and I know for a fact that it was mopped every morning as we were there at 6am when the cleaning lady was there. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately the fact that an item was stolen from our balcony makes me sad.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Wonderful Vacation

We had the absolute best time at this resort. The accommodations were wonderful, the food was great and we were thoroughly impressed with the customer service. Highly recommend and intend on visiting again!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Resort was okay... would not recommend

For a resort in mexico the food was terrible. My entire family got food poisoning about half way through the trip. Rooms seemed very old and outdated, cracked tiles in the bathroom and bedroom and you can hear people in the room next to you talking. Only thing I really enjoyed about the resort was the large pool, But it was a twenty minute walk from our rooms. Seems they have too many people on the resort and the staff have a hard time keeping up with the demand this shows most in the food. They [... read more] are also definitely not the friendliest staff I have been around. It is getting very outdated and needs some work.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Small and peaceful

This my 1st visit of this resort. I really like the environment inside the resort. It's small, cute, modern and authentic. It has one of the best beaches in Playa de Carmen. 20 minutes walk to Playa de Carmen from the hotel. The food is good, but nothing extraordinary. Rooms are standard - clean and nice. Entertainment is awesome! If you're looking for small, quite, peaceful resort - this is the right place for you!!! I'll definitely come back here again in the future!!!

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great Family Resort!

We originally booked the standard room but when we arrived at check in we upgraded to the Eco Family Superior room. The Eco Family room is spacious with bunk beds which the kids loved. These rooms were also newly renovated and closer to all the amenities (ie pool, restaurants). I recommend the Eco Room over the standard because you get wifi, 24hr room service,and its closer to all the facilities. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Wasnt all sunshine and rainbows

Food was fantastic, all water in the resort safe to drink. Did get sick upon return home though.. something I ate? Service was good, nice staff. Just don't ask for a water bottle... apparently they keep those under lock and key.. Not enough shade to go around.. be sure to get up at the crack of dawn to throw your towels on some lounges under the umbrellas.. "Contaminated beaches" means more seaweed than water, be careful not to get run over by the guy with the bobcat. They turn the sprinklers on to water the grass.. using septic water. Those people having a candlelit dinner by the pool sure enjoyed that I'm sure..

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: great resort

the hotel and service was great the pool was also great, the beach was a disaster full os sea weeds we could not walk on beach as we alwais like to do. the other disappointing `point was the very limited choice of wine included in the all inclusive package. there was only one choice of house wine very cheap that i could not drink. what i don't understand is that the all inclusive package allows guest to sit at the bar and drink all kinds of liquor all day long and yet limit only one choic [... read more]e of wine at any restaurant. I an not a drinker but I enjoy having a glass of decent wine with my dinner. with your current system that requires extra payment. If the company is concern about cost, why not limit the amount of alcohol consumed at bars and increase the choice of wine in the menu for the all inclusive package?

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Amazing resort!

Beautiful and the people very friendly! Food was amazing at buffet and the special dinners! The beach was rough for swimming and we did have a scorpion in or room, but it was handled very well by staff

Atelier Playa Mujeres: 10/10 - Would Recommend!

My best friend and I wanted to get away for a quick vacation. We spent 5 amazing days at Atelier Playa Mujeres. Everything was amazing from the beautiful accommodations, attentive resort staff, and delicious meals. Notable mention goes to Caesar and Jose who made sure we were never without a margarita in hand (which was quite an undertaking), and to Michel who went above and beyond to ensure we were having the best time. Grand Riviera Princess: Great Family resort

There are plenty of things to do with kids on the resort. The magicians and live shows were a hit with my three year old. The staff is amazing and will go out of there way to assist you. The only thing I don’t like the individuals selling time shares. They are very persistent.

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: very niceand clean resort

One of the best trip where kids and adults got a very good time.. The ocean is better comparative with other Playacar resorts where the ocean is calcified and rough and wearing shoes is mandatory. The resort personnel very nice and eager to help. I'm recommending this resort ..Enjoy!!

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Good resort- a lot of walking

We loved the jungle atmosphere this resort has to offer. Tons of wildlife to see. Negatives were the beach- lots of seaweed and very small, and everywhere was a 10 minute walk since the resort is so massive. The food was great apart from the main buffet, eat anywhere else but there. best sushi at the a la carte. Seafood restaurant had great steak.
