Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Nice Place, Nice People!

The Hotel & Restaurants were clean. Most of the people working with the guests, speak English, which was nice to not have a language barrier :-) Food was more authentic Mexican than 'Tacotime/Chi Chi's' which we were expecting more flavor.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Peaceful vacation!

LBP Sian Ka'an was amazing! Our rooms were clean and spacious, the food was plentiful and delicious. Although it's not beachfront, there is a shuttle you can take straight to the Sian Ka'an only beach. You also get access to the other 3 BP resorts and their restaurants. Amazing value for a 5 star resort!

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Fantastic place!

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon and we loved this place! The food was delicious! The staff was very helpful and professional. The only downside was that the beach had a lot of seaweed. They worked really hard to clear the beach everyday, but there was still seaweed everywhere.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: SHOOTING AT THE BEACH / THEFT IN ROOM

As soon as we got to the Grand Bahia Principe Coba resort we had a bad vibe. The resort had a huge check in line with 120 people in it, 100 of which were Mexican locals coming in for day trips. Took us HOURS to check in! Staff are not so friendly, never smile. Food was mediocre. The beach was full of seaweed, and the pools were extremely warm to the point you didn’t want to go in them. We grabbed our bag and son and ran to our hotel lobby. The front desk staff did not care at all and just said OK. BLANK LOOK. We went to our room and we’re scared to leave for the remainder of the day. We we’re in building 27 room 32719 on Tuesday June 4th I noticed I couldn’t find some of my sons clothes and his brand new red shoes, not thinking much of it I decided to look for it later. Wednesday June 5th evening 6pm as I started packing to return home the next morning I notice my sons red shoes and MANY clothes are GONE. I went to the hotel lobby to file a complaint they did not care at all! Front desk / manager said they contacted lost and found nothing came up and called maid service if they “accidentally took it” and nothing. Of course nothing when THE MAID STOLE MY SONS SHOES AND CLOTHES. Furious, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want to be apart of a gun shoot out and have all your belongings stolen.

TRS Coral: Very nice resort

The trs coral hotel is a very beautiful and modern resort, it’s grounds are very clean and well kept. The rooms are amazing and the swim out suite is a must. The beach is long and clean and very beautiful. The staff and service is phenomenal and so their best to keep you happy and entertained through our your whole trip. The food is also exceptional, everything I ate I enjoyed! I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: An Amazing Getaway

My partner and I just got back from one week at the Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an. I have been to several all inclusives in the Mayan and have to say this tops them all. Friendly staff, great food, and pristine conditions. We will definitely be recommending this resort to others/

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Perfect Wedding

This resort makes dreams happen for a fantastic wedding. It was above and beyond what we were expecting. They treat all guests with pure respect and very genuine. All staff in any and all departments were phenomenal. The customer service and the service was exceptional throughout our stay, The beach was full of seaweed but that cannot be helped - its been a rough year no matter where you go. The staff was removing it as fast as it was coming in-the pools were perfect

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Best resort i've ever stayed!

If you're looking for impeccable service and peaceful resort, this is the place for you. It was an absolute dream the entire week, and I felt like a celebrity being treated so nicely by the staff. I would recommend this resort to all of my friends and family!

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Where wedding dreams come true.

My youngest sister brought along 28 of us to wed her long time boyfriend at the Dreams Puerta Aventuras in Mexico. This resort excels in service and weddings. Many in our family have backgrounds in hotel restaurant mgt., catering and culinary arts. We were treated to a smooth and faultless 2 days of wedding ceremonies. If you are plann [... read more]ing a destination wedding, this is the place to go. The seeweed was out of control despite the resorts best efforts to provide a clean beach. Thankfully Mexican waterfront is public and we walked a few minutes away or had a free resort driver take us to another location to swim after our shopping tour. By the way the snorkling was par none. A tremendous variety of exotic fish, including Baracuda, sting rays, jellyfish, lobster all in 6 foot deep water.

Riu Flamingos: Best Vacation

Everything was very clean and well organized. That includes the rooms, beach front and pool area. The food was great, there was a wide variety to choose from! All the workers were welcoming and helpful, there was always entertainment to attend. Never a dull moment, honestly wish I could have stayed longer. This was an amazing trip, I cannot wait to come back!

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Beautiful resort

The grounds are gorgeous at every turn. The food is spectacular and everything I tasted was delicious. The waiters at the buffet and the a la carte restaurants are very detail oriented and really take care of you. I liked the Santa Fe steak house the best, and the Kyoto, Japanese. There is a fair bit of walking as the resort is quite large and it takes a day or two to get your bearings. Pools are well maintained and drink service excellent. I had my 7 year old grandson with me and at check [... read more]-in was informed that only a king size bed was available on a third floor. I prefer top floor, as no one is directly above. I booked 6 months ahead and still did not get the 2 double beds requested. Disappointed but I accepted this. The rooms are showing their age. My sliding patio door was almost impossible to open and close without hurting my hand. I called about 4 times before it was fixed. You need to get a bit upset so they will act on it. The beach was vacant as there is much seaweed. Only 4-5 people in the ocean! No one in the hundreds of beach chairs, a strange sight indeed. But the pools are beautiful and I didn’t mind at all, no one else seemed to either. There are lots of shaded areas by the pools, so no need to get there super early. Staff are great and always helpful. They are hard workers and deserve any tips given. This is a well run resort, IMO, but not for people with mobility issues. i.e. have difficulty walking a lot. You might gain a few pounds however, the desserts are wonderful!

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Great Location

This property is great because everything is in the one building. Great for anyone with mobility issues. This was our sixth visit to a Royalton, but it was not up to the standards that we expected from a Royalton property. Concerns are mostly around service and applying policies consistently when it comes to dining. We found some staff rude, when there were much better ways of handling the situation. We were promised multiple times from supervisory staff that a manager would be in touch reg [... read more]arding our concerns, but no one ever did. Every time we asked, we were told that the general manager was not available. This lack of care attitude is definitely trickling down to their supervisory staff at giving excuses for policies that make no sense. Please explain how it is unsafe for a man to wear sandals when a woman can wear flip flops? Many resorts have policies regarding dress code, but they also realize that people are on vacation and are not stringent on this policy. I would return to Royalton again, but not to this property.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing Trip!

Great Resort. Grounds were well groomed. Buffet and al lecarte restaurants were excellent with a wide range of choices even for the picky eater. Excursions were excellent with a wide choice to choose from. Overall an amazing trip.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Awesome resort

Hotel overall was good, we were there for a wedding and surprising the wedding was very professional and very beautiful. Food was great, pools were good, rooms, bars, restaurants all good as well. Staff was very good, lacking in English but still very pleasant. We made the best of the beach and found spots where we could go in the water but don’t expect much from the beach. The Eco aspect of the resort is really cool and there are a number of free activities to help explore the nature. One ne [... read more]gative is the restaurants do not have air conditioning which made it uncomfortable at dinners. I would recommend the resort and would go back.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Tropical Luxury Resort *****

So beautiful. The tropical grounds at this resort was amazing. The rooms are spacious, clean and the decor is very classy. I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff at Valentin Imperial Maya. They certainly go above and beyond for all their guests. The food was really outstanding. Ocean Riviera Paradise: Lovely Resort but had one issue, yet to be resolved

Our first impressions upon arrival were that it was a nice new resort but everything was situated fairly close together. It has a long narrow design with just one pool close to the beach. I thought there was at least one designated adult only pool but each one we visited had children. Our room was nice, clean and cool but the bed was on the hard side and the wooden frame around it made lots of noise getting in and out or if you turned over. I love the basket chair on the balcony. The food at the Steak restaurant wasn't our favorite (MahiMahi very tough) but we loved the food at the buffet (amazing variety each meal) and we loved the food at the 'Blue Moon'. We really enjoyed watching the Raptor playoff games in the sports bar and loved the coffee shop (busy all day!). On day four of our 7 day vacation my husband contracted an intestinal infection from the food. The hotel doctor came to our room and diagnosed him as such, giving him an injection and round of antibiotics. We let the hotel manager (Caroline) know about this incident and asked if they would re-imburse us for the cost of the doctors visit ($300 US). She was defensive and brushed us off. We weren't looking for blame, just reimbursement. One last positive note, we had a lovely Wine Tasting experience with the resort Sommelier named Edgar. I would give him five stars for his friendliness, knowledge, passion and professionalism. He had introduced some lovely wines to the restaurants, they are very lucky to have him!!

Platinum Yucatan Princess: A little slice of heaven

The hotel is beautifully decorated. Modern. Grounds are well kept. Staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. Pool side staff are entertaining and great at their job. I was a little disappointed with the condition of the beach and the seaweed problem. Aside from that the resort was beautiful. I had a good time.

Catalonia Riviera Maya: Small but has everything!

It is smaller than I expected but still has everything that we can enjoy. The best is the entertainment shows each night. The foods overall are quite salty. They don't have healthy sense in terms of cooking. I would give 6 out of 10 to this resort.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Nice resort

The service at this resort was first class, they bent over backwards to help they were very friendly and fun to deal with, the rooms were nice the resort is a bit older but very clean and the nightly shows were amazing my only complaint was the beach was small and the sea weed was uncontrollable, they had workers working on it every day and they could not clean it up.

Riu Dunamar: Sooo Nice!!

RIU Dunamar is an amazing hotel. Had everything. It’s a newer hotel so everything was fresh and up to date. Service staff was wonderful. The entertainment was fantastic. Food incredible! The photography packages were outrageously priced. More than double what we paid for our wedding photos in Jamaica. The braiding skills at the salon were lacking but other than the cost of the photography and the salon everything else was a cut above. I would definitely recommend this resort!
