Grand Sunset Princess: Awesome resort

The resort we attended was awesome: the staff was very helpful, pools were clean, entertainment was great, the food a la carte was superb and the beach was not that I had ever seen before. I would certainly recommend the Grand Sunset Princess resort to anyone who is interested in staying in Mexico.

Kore Tulum Retreat Wellness Resort: Amazing Resort

We thought the resort was very romantic, relaxing all the positive comments true. The grounds, restaurants and rooms very clean. Staff were kind, friendly and courteous! Breakfasts amazing. We never took part of lunches as a result. As for suppers, Asian and Italian were amazing. Mexican we did not appeal towards this menu. The only downfall the beach is (for us) a 10 minute walk. Overall a very relaxing, romantic and peaceful experience. Bert and Nicole!

El Dorado Royale: El Dorado Royale is one of the best Adults Only properties!

Our second stay at this property did not disappoint, we are still so impressed with the service, their attention to detail, the quality of the food & the overall comfort of this beautiful resort that we may even go back for a third. The staff is friendly, efficient, discreet & very hard working! This chain is doing lots of things right & their staff obviously take pride in their work because of it. Much of the produce served in the restaurants is grown in organic greenhouses on the property & it is delicious! The a la carte restaurants are a pleasure to dine in & for the most part there is no need for reservations nor are there line ups. There are bicycles available, a well equipped gym, spa facilities, Starbucks, beautiful meandering walking paths & stunning grounds.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Great Service

This resort had all the amenities you could ask for. It's like they found out what stresses people out while at a resort and they eliminated them. Unlimited beach towels, not monitored. One lady said "there's no towel drama". We ate at the Hunter steak house 4 times, no problem. The buffet was great especially breakfast, I can't think of a thing they could have added to the menu. I went to the gym a few times and the equipment was fantastic. We would recommend this resort to our friends..... [... read more]. The beach service was wonderful and always lots of choices for seating and sun/shade options. The only complaint would be the water ( can't be rectified by the resort). The water was murky on 6 out of 7 days. So don't expect the picture postcard waters of other carribean destinations. There was also garbage floating in the water....not sure if it came from the immediate area or carried from the deep ocean...but I found that very disconcerting, and have to say I have never encountered this at any other destination, at home or abroad.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Great vacation

As for the food it was more then our expectation. Very clean, preety and modern resort. Pool and see ice 10/10. Beach lovers avoid the whole Riviera maya area. I highly recommend. One thing to improve would be the communication for the activities for hideaway. Also the butlers should be there to guide not only to try to sell time-sharing

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: The best resort ever

Everything g from the minute we arrived has been top notch, or as Now resorts say "unlimited luxury"! The hotel and grounds are so clean and inviting. The food superb! All staff from gardeners to concierge extremely friendly and pleasant. We have been travelling in Mexico for 40 years and this resort exceeded any other. BTW Jenn Black has been super helpful with us planning our vacation, even with some curveballs we threw her way after booking. We'll use Tripcentral again without hesitation!

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: good time good food

Resort was great. Food was awesome. Staff and locals were real nice. Housekeeping was ok. Buying from vendors was expensive no great deals. For Canadians better to use peso bring a calculator. I would go again for sure!

Grand Oasis Riviera: Poor customer service

Though the resort had nice pools, great beach and wonderful food I found the customer service was poor. There was no orientation to become acquainted with the features of the hotel, restaurants available, how to reserve at the restaurants and times and locations of shows. When we had a room problem we were not offered any resolution. Only when we demanded a solution did they find an alternative for us. The food was fabulous and highly recommend. The bed was very comfortable and the resort wa [... read more]s clean. Easy and close access to pools and beach areas. A few times we had an issue with sewer smell in our room. When we complained they did spray the room with a freshener but the problem repeated itself.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great hotel

Wonderful place with lots to do. Rooms were spacious & clean. Quite a few kids there though. Food was great at the buffet & a la cartes. Michael Jackson show was great. Staff in the buffet were very hard working and quick. On a negative note, upon checking in, timeshare people waiting behind you. They have Sandoz Caracol shirts on with name tags so you don't realize they are timeshare people until you sit down with them. Another plus would have been to have a mariachi band play somewhere on the [... read more] grounds as we were in Mexico after all. The beach was very rocky so swim shoes were needed. All in all, we were pleased with the resort.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Fantastic Vacation

This is a top-notch resort! Antonio Cholion and Juan Ronolo Hernandez Altunar really pampered us when we had breakfast. Also they both helped us with our Spanish which made our vacation extra special. The staff at the Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda went our of their way to take care of us. Everyone has a smile.... no matter what you ask of them, their response is "its a pleasure". Food is excellent, pool is beautiful, beach is exquisite. We have been there twice and have not been disappointed!

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Not impressed

We were very disappointed in our stay at the Oceans. Had food poisoning and was sick for 3 days very bad. Have come to Mexico 7 times in the last 10 yrs. never had food poisoning before,but talked to others the next day they also had it from the exact food that I ate. Also there were bed bugs also seen a cockroach. Elevator was broken and my 78 yr. old husband had to climb up to the 3rd floor where are rooms was,although he is in good shape it became too much for both of us. Very friendly and always a smile on his face we looked forward to seeing him everyday.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing Resort

This resort is a beautiful luxury resort. The grounds are beautiful and impeccably kept. It feels like you are walking in a tropical jungle. The staff is extremely friendly and the service was top notch. The resort is spotlessly clean at every turn. The food was amazing and the presentation outstanding. Whether you are at the beach or poolside, the bar service is fast and friendly. We had an amazing time with a group of friends and would definitely return to this resort. Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Great experience

The hotel was clean, felt safe, had great food, good kids play area indoors, fun kids pools, the concierge upgrade was worth every single penny. Having someone check in on you every day and organise your trips, reservations, babysitting etc was great not only for us parents, but every day our concierge person would leave treats and a present (baloon dragonflies, or colouring books etc...) for our children which totally made their day.

Catalonia Royal Tulum: Outstanding resort

Every aspect of this resort is excellent. Been to this area of Mexico 4 other times and stayed at 4 other resorts and by far CRT has been the best experience. The beach is the nicest I've seen on the coast with level access into the ocean.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Excellent resort- Barcelo Maya

Accommodation, services, food, staff and everything about Barcelo was amazing. We had an enjoyable time, will definitely go back and will refer friends and family too. West jet representative did an amazing job helping us to select this resort and we are very happy. We will definitely continue to use Westjet for other travels.

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Amazing!!!

Another amazing stay at Dreams Riviera Cancun! This was our 3rd time at the hotel and it won't be our last. Everything was great; from the hotel grounds, staff and service to the food and drinks. We will definitely be returning.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Great resort

Rooms / food/ beaches were nice. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The seaweed on the beach is a daily task but the staff do there best to clean / mulch it. We were told that you wouldn't have to struggle in finding a beach chair but we found out that as with most resorts, you have to be up early to put your towel down in order to get a decent chair. Certainly didn't ruin the trip though. Would definitely go back to this resort.

Riu Playacar: Beautiful beach, close to Playa

I travelled with my two children, age 11 and 20. We were given a King bed our first night and was placed in a room close to the noisy theatre. The next night they moved us the to a double room with a cot and closer to the beach. If you can, request rooms in buildings 6,7 or 8. The entertainment staff was incredible. The food in the buffetts was also really good, better than the restraunts. The beach was beautiful and the resort was very clean. Great resort if you like a smaller resort. Everythi [... read more]ng was within a minutes walk. Also, a nice little shopping area with a Starbucks right across the street. You could walk into Playa or take a cab for 90 pesos. I would absolutely stay here again.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great stay

This was my second time visiting Bahia Principe in Cancún and I have to say I will go again and again as my budget allows Every aspect of my visit was great. From the food to the cleanliness of the facilities to the friendliness of the staff I would recommend it to anyone visiting

The food was good, lots of variety, weather was warm, of course booking restaurants by 11;00am the day after we arrived at 11:00pm, was challenging, no decent times left. Everyone we spoke to said they had a 10:30pm spot left every night for the Japanese style restaurant (6 nights and only 10:30 left for seating). Mexican and Italian restaurants were great. All bars were consistently awesome with drinks, internet issues all the time, day or night in the lobby but, hey we were on vacation. WestJe [... read more]t agents and BD travel (their tour guide company) were usually available and very accommodating, thanks to Claudia and Jonathon at BD. The WestJet/BD office is right beside the Tequila Store and you can book your excursions there. We were not pleased with the FREE BD tour to Playa Del Carmen as our first stop was at a jewelry factory (not store) where they give you a 10 minute intro of who does not does what, gemologist, etc. then 1 1/2 hour pressure sales by more than 20 staff!!! Again free silver tag with your name in Mayan, then 1/2 hour in a glass blowing place - interesting and beautiful pieces, no pressure sales there, then lunch or supper in Playa Del Carmen (ok but better food on the resort), then free to roam for 2 1/2 hrs in Playa Del Carmen. Front desk helpful, if you want to print your return ticket confirmation off, there is NO BUSINESS CENTRE! You have to wait in line at the same area, next to the front desk, where you book the restaurants and hotel excursions. When bringing your bags to the front to check out (or calling for them to be brought there) PLEASE make sure you check out at the front desk and bring the keys for the room and towels back by 12:00. They tried to charge us for not checking out at the cost of $10.00/hr after 12:00, our bags were out front at 10:00am. They gave in. The beach was far from our end of the resort at Coba, 8 minute golf cart ride, carts were around fairly often. Nice Hacienda and very small Casino. Overall very pleased with everything at the resort.
