Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Good resort

Traveled with the family. Loved the entertainment team especially Speedy, he was very attentive, fun, high energy and friendly. Dining was good....could always find something to enjoy. Christmas Eve dinner was great. Loved the nativity scene on the beach too and Santa's arrival on Christmas day. Rooms and location in bldg 12 was very good. Thank you to Victor Pollantis for that. Washooms (flush mechanism did not work well but that did not trouble us). Rooms not cleaned till late af [... read more]ternoon or not done at all on two occasions, so hotel can pay more attention to that. Beach okay, water had a lot of sea weed but that is not a hotel issue. Vendors persistently ask you to buy items/excursions, even on the resort grounds which takes away from the relaxing atmosphere you need on a vacation. Overall we had a great time and it was a nice break from the cold.

Tropical Deluxe Princess: Great Family Vacation

Resort was very big. Three big pools and plenty of restaurants. Never felt that there were too many people around you. Rooms could have been better kept. We had to change rooms mid-way during our stay because of bathroom issues. People and staff were very friendly and made the trip enjoyable.

Occidental Punta Cana: Occidental Punta Cana

Hotel turned out to be very nice as they are updating all of the buildings. Check in was terrible talking an hour and a half at 10:00pm which is unacceptable with kids travelling. The rooms were clean an up to date with two double beds and two couches, air conditioning, fridge, safe, coffee maker and tv (which only had local channels). Each building had a concierge to help take care of anything you needed. Beach was fantastic with lots of loungers and shade available. Everything was accessi [... read more]ble as the resort was not too big. Food was good but got a little repetitive by the end of the week. Will not book with Sunwing again as plane was delayed two hours going down, our rep did not show up for the meeting on the first day and was never around, and boarded plane early on the way home only to sit for over an hour waiting to take off while vegetables were loaded. Overall once at the resort it was a relaxing week with great weather in Punta Cana.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Nice resort.

The resort is very well laid out and the staff are accommodating. Some of the staff were amazing and the FRAN group (Julie and Antoine) were great with their activities for children and adults. To be honest, I much prefer the low key atmosphere of Memories to Royalton. The pool bar manager Ramone and his staff were loveable as was Pedro of the hotel entertainment group. Not being a "demanding" eater, I found the food and drink good (but difficult to handle due to the "all-inclusive" aspect). Pina Coladas and Rum - ouch!

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Most Amazing Vacation!!

This was an amazing vacation. The resort is so beautiful, beach was amazing and the service was spot on!! Anytime we were looking for something there was always someone there to help. Highly recommend.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Family holiday

Hotel was fantastick! Wonderful kids club felt totally secure leaving the kids .. so many activities for them to do! Gorgeous grounds great food and the beat pool and lanscaping ive ever seen! Would like to return for sure!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Huge complex

The grounds are extremely well maintained. The lobby is functional and well situated. The villas /rooms in the punta Cana resort we found to be dated. Also, we had plumbing issues. Short on bath and face towels but would be supplied when we requested. Beds were not comfortable and neither were pillows. Food at buffet was very good as well as service. Found booking our entitled al la cartes very stressful. Look into it early. Overall it was a great vacation. We found the "complex" too big however which resulted in a very busy beach. We instead opted to hang by our local pool which was nice but water was freezing cold. Staff are great.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Luxury Resort

It was a huge resort, very clean and well maintained. The food was very good and there was a variety selection of food. The beach however was not wide enough and there was seaweed every where. The night life was good, the disco was fun, but daily entertainment was not good at all!!! There was hardly any fun activities happening during the day. I personally prefer a smaller resort and more fun travellers and entertainers. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Decent

Resort was nice, food was edible. Resort was waaayyy too big for my liking. And because of all the people the beach was packed! Couldn't get a al la carte reservation either. Probably wouldn't go back.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Love to splash at Splash

What a great first trip to Punta cana! Had the best located room near the water park which the kids loved. The staff were all awesome, esp Ramon the baretender and the entertainment staff. Love the beach and pools. Great entertainment. bartender

We went with my grandchildren to memories splash punta cana and had a wonderful time. I've been to other resorts in Punta cana but this was by far the most fun! Great food, room and the water park was terrific for the kids!

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Outstanding Vacation spot!

I visited Now Larimar from Dec 28/16 to Jan 4/17 with my two children, sister and brother-in-law. This was our first time here and we loved every aspect of the holiday! The facilities were clean and very well-maintained. The staff all were so friendly and helpful. It was apparent that the staff wanted us to enjoy our stay and everyone appeared genuinely happy to be there. The activities and entertainment were amazing. The food was exceptional always. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: superb resort

We visited luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda resort for the first time last week. We felt so welcome.The staff was so polite and helpful. The food very well presented, delicious and lots of variety. The rooms very spacious and super clean. Pool and beach area very nicely kept. Thank you Brianna for finding this paradise for us. Special spot on the beach for members and more perks. They call it free gift. You will have to go to an information session about time share for a couple hours. Unless you want to buy into it. stay away from them. Privilege club are in every hotel lobby.

Sunscape Dominican Beach: Awesome spot & highly recommend!

Great food! Loved the variety of salad offered at the restaurants & burgers, steak or chicken. Pizza Shop always available & drinks at poolside were most delicious. Rooms were very lovely, great king bed in our room as well as bar fridge stocked at no extra charge. Air conditioning worked awesome and could be adjusted easily. Lovely balcony to relax on in evening should you wish to. ✔️😊😊👍🏽

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Fabulous Resort

Everything about this resort was first class. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The rooms and grounds were extremely clean and well maintained. Although it is a very Maarten resort it was fairly easy to navigate and there are plenty of trams if you don't want to walk.

From day 1, minute 1 through to day 10 last minute the GBP Esmeralda exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Timely and efficient internal transportation, easy/peasy check in and out with efficient and friendly staff, exceptionally manicured and beautiful grounds, beautiful beach, spacious and well serviced room, clean and sanitary pools with awesome bar service, great entertainment, and scrumptious meals, all of which was only exceeded by friendly, personable a la carte and buffet [... read more] staff who treat every guest like he /she was the only guest in the resort. Kudos and high fives to the Esmeralda staff for making my stay so memorable and enjoyable. I was restricted to a wheelchair for most of my stay and everything was fully accessible, including my internal transportation!

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Wonderful Resort

Our rooms were 5052 and 5053 -- awesome room location near the pool -- very happy that the resort placed our family side by side (often those requests are made and not honored by resorts) -- The restaurants and buffets were excellent and we had wonderful service The flight was great as well -- no complaints about this trip!

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Great Resort for kids

Very clean resort ! Lots to do, Michael Jackson show was amazing, food was good, no one got sick. Lots of variety. Always seats by the pool or on the beach .. lots of seaweed on the shore . Reservations weren't always available

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Nice Beach, Bad Food

We arrived on Dec.30, check in took 2 hours despite being "priority". The front desk also charged me double during arrival (in US funds) for VIP on my credit card which took hours to have corrected. We got block 5 and our room was 3rd floor and clean/nice. It's loud at night as they play music outside until 11:30pm+ daily - if you want quiet get a block/room FAR from the main pool area or you better bring earplugs. Service is OK, drinks at bars are strong! The food is terrible and the only good  [... read more]experience was at Rodizio (Brazilian restaurant) if you have dietary restrictions there's very few options. VIP is worth it, its adults only; access to the best maintained pool, private lounge with free wifi, private beach/bar with larger alcohol selection and a second restaurant option for breakfast + lunch. Get ready to be harassed and hasseled daily both by resort workers selling excursions/time share and street vendors - its very irritating (be aware of rip offs if you buy in...). We were so tired of being haggled we never went to the disco as we were warmed it was filled with prostitutes... also there was an overwhelming amount of rude/obnoxious Russians staying there which was worrisome at times. The beach is well maintained and was the highlight of a disappointing resort. Rated 5 star but closer to a 3.

TRS Cap Cana Hotel: Fabulous.

If you are looking for a quiet hotel with excellent amenities this is an excellent choice. No rowdie guest, no line ups, plenty of chairs at pool. Quality of food and service excellent. It really is a 5 star hotel. It's also only 20 minutes from the airport!
