Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Amazing

The resort is fantastic from the hotel to the buffets and the amazing restaurants the three pools are huge. And all the staff are great. The lazy river was great along with the ice cream shop and coffee bar and al the entertainment. Great resort

Grand Sunset Princess: fantastic

Everything about this resort was incredible.. the food ,entertainment and the staff were exceptional. We would return in a heartbeat.It was so clean and everything about it was amazing. From the time of booking until our departure from Mexico I cant say enough. We used sunwing and the reps on site were great ...right from landing to booking excursions everything ran very smooth

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Barcelo maya

All around great resort and staff. Food and service are great and rooms are clean and modern. The beach had alot of sargassium (seaweed) everywhere and although its not the hotels fault it ruined the beach.

Ocean Maya Royale: Great vacation

We were 6 people coming to the ocean maya royale, when we got there they offered us alcoholic drinks and checked us in very efficiently. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms were beautiful and clean. The dining experience was great, I would recommend all the a la cartes except for Mexican, the rest were 10/10 and you could go as many times as you wanted. The beach was not nice because of the seaweed, but I understand this is a whole Mayan riviera issue not just the one hotel. All in all, the vacation and the resort were great. FYI there is a lagoon if you walk down the beach for about 15-20 minutes, the lagoon is so beautiful, it is fresh water, it is clear. Then there’s a bit of a current and it pushes you out into the ocean, but it is not deep out there. A great experience.

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Great Resort and Staff!

A group of seven girls and I spent a week at Marival and we had a great time. Two of the girls are vegans and the staff accommodated their dietary needs. Special thanks to Victor and Jullion for going above and beyond to making sure our stay was enjoyable. The rooms that we stayed in (131) were a bit outdated but were always clean!

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Lovely Resort

I attended this resort for a destination wedding. The grounds were lovely and the resort was very clean. The service was very good for the most part. As the resort was so large, and there were so many people there, sometimes the service seemed a bit slow, but understandably so. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the beach, due to all of the seaweed that washed up onto the shore constantly, and felt that there could have been more resources dedicated to keeping it clean. We were unable to [... read more] use the beach until the last 2-3 days of our 5 day trip. The pools were lovely. Be prepared to be charged a sanitation fee of approximately $1.50 per day, something we were not aware of prior to our trip. Overall, a nice resort, if you like larger resorts.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellent!!!

1) I recommend one more Billiard in TULUM (except of the Sports Bar) in COBA. 2) Billiard in the Sports Bar in COBA was not in good condition and one ball was missing 3) I recommend normal size Chess Board with figures in the Sports Bar or somewhere else

Haven Riviera Cancun: Great Place to get Spoiled!

We arrived at the hotel for a weeks' vacation. We had originally booked a garden-view room but were upgraded to a partial ocean-view room (2117). The room overlooked the pool and beach. It was a nice large room. We then upgraded to the Serenity - worth every penny. We stayed in room 1007. We had a great ocean swim-out room. The food is fantastic at this resort. We tried all restaurants, bars and room service. The spa was amazing, we went daily for a massage and hydrotherapy which is inc [... read more]luded in the Serenity package. The pools are fantastic. There is some seaweed on the beach but we knew that when we booked. We were still able to access the water. The ocean water was warmer than the pool water! Not your typical blue color like in Cancun. The staff are very friendly. Can't wait to return to this resort!

Platinum Yucatan Princess: An exceptional experience!

The hotel was more than we could have dreamed of! The grounds were amazing - kept by the most warm, welcoming and attentive staff. The entertainment was absolutely amazing .. especially poolside. Our room was immaculate. Very clean and the double rain shower is such a treat. I cannot recommend this resort enough - we will be back!!

The Pyramid Cancun: Amazing resort

Hotel was great, food excellent, staff very friendly and professional. The only thing was Sun Wing , they cut our holiday to 6 days , moved our flight back from 8 p.m. to 3 pm , picked us up at noon drove around the city for an hour and drove by our hotel again to get to airport. We waited in the plane for almost two hours and took of at 7pm. We landed in Toronto next day at around 1am.

Melody Maker Cancun: Amazing resort for singles

The hotel was very clean, easy access to party strip, barely any children. It's a good place to party for singles definitely not a family resort. There's a party in the pool practically everyday during the day.

The Reef Coco Beach: Reef Coco Beach

Pros: Grounds are well maintained, rooms cleaned often, drinks strong and delicious. Love the small, intimate size of the resort, plenty of pool side chairs. Cons: Food bad and always cold or lukewarm, beach unusable due to substantial weeds. If they improved the quality of the food I would go back, probably won’t for this reason.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Viva the Ziva !!!

From entering the lobby to register to checking out and heading to the airport and home we have nothing but praise and raves for this resort. Checking in was smooth and seamless as was checking out. Our room was spacious and well appointed located where we requested which was an adult pool view. The grounds are expertly and well maintained. Your first view from the lobby over looking the main pool is amazing only surpassed by the view at night. The pools cater to the variety of clientele from [... read more] families, to large, let's say "energetic" party seekers to those wanting a quieter environment. There are no problems with sun loungers or getting up at 6:30 to reserve your place with a towel. There is no swimming at the beach as the waves are dangerous to say the least but are mesmerizing to watch and listen to. The food at all restaurants and the buffet was excellent. There is no need for reservations anywhere except at the Asian and that's only if you want the Hibachi no need for reservations if you just want table service. Breakfast can be hectic and a people watching paradise.Any overflow is directed to the adjoining Mexican restaurant so we never had to wait for a table in the 10 days we were there. In fact, we didn't have to wait more that 5 minutes to be seated anywhere. There is no lobby bar by traditional definition probably because this is a 590 room resort that caters to families and a wide age group. The biggest selling point our view was the staff. Constantly smiling, courteous, helpful and very, very good at what they do. .

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Sandos Caracoal is AMAZING

People were fantastic. We picked this resort because we love animals. We saw absolutely everything.. from monkeys on our plrch to iguanas. The food was awesome with lots to choose from. We would def cone back to Sandos :) thanks julia and maya for all your help !!!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Fantastic Holiday

We loved everything about the Grand Palladiim. The accommodations, staff and food were amazing. The entertainment team were fantastic, always getting everyone involved. We will definetly be going back 😊

El Dorado Royale: Never going back!

We stayed in a swimup suite with a salt water lazy river attached. The lazy river did not really connect to the swim up bar. To get to the swim up bar you had to cross over a small wall. That area seemed to accumulate a lot of dirt and green matter floating on the surface. It was not pleasant crossing over. Although I would see the pool boys cleaning the lazy river every 2nd day that area was always dirty. Waiters servicing the swim up rooms with drinks was very rare and depended on sta [... read more]ff availability. There was always 1 waiter and bartender to wait for the pool and swim up area so service was slow. There were several restaurants on the resort but not all restaurants were opened. This created a problem with over crowding and long wait times. The day we arrived we were turned away from 3 restaurants due to long waiting times. The day we arrived the resort had 11 weddings and this created a problem because the staff's priority was to service the wedding parties. If you do decide to visit, be prepared to deal with the concierge, they are always contacting you to try to sell you a membership for their time shares. There is always an upsell, from mexican fiesta night to wine and food. The standard steak is flank steak and tenderloin but only available at 1 restaurant. Lobster is extra. Standard wine is their house, anything else you need to purshase. For restaurants that are open for lunch and dinner it is the same menu and it never changes. The portion sizes were very small and my husband always had to ask for double portions. The room service was limited and very rare was the food warm, waiting time was between 1hr to 1hr and 30 mins. Their desserts were not very good and tasted bland. They had a Mexican fiesta night and were charging the guests from 45 to 90 USD, they called it VIP seating. I have never come across this before in any resorts that I have visited. Fiestas are always for everyone and there is never a charge. Our room was always cold and damp, we needed 4 blankets to sleep well at night. The rooms were old and of desperate need of an update. The lighting in the bathroom was so poor it was difficult to get ready at night. The patio door did not lock and the tub looked like like it came from the 80's. I have visited many all inclusive adult resorts and for this resort I spent the most and was surprised on the condition of the resort. There was always a sewage smell throughout the resort that was hard to get used to.

Samba Vallarta: Great Small Resort

Samba Vallarta is a great small resort located directly on a lovely large beach. Loads of cabanas for shade, drink service and very friendly vendors....For a 3 1/2 star rating the buffet was amazing, always HOT and good variety to choose from. Only complaint was there was absolutely NO guacamole to be found which was very disappointing and they only supplied 1 coffee kit for your first morning....you had to buy any additional kits which I found very cheap.....although you could obtain coffee clo [... read more]se to the restaurant early in the morning but that meant you had to get dressed.....nightly shows were pretty cheesy and there was no lounge with music, etc. after so you pretty well called it a night. The week I was there the resort was filled with Mexican families....they were very polite and all the kids were well behaved. For a restful vacation it was a great get away....

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Not a 5 star!

Beautiful grounds, excellent food, but the rooms were very run down. Beach is not the best as the entire Mexico coast is dealing with a seaweed issue but they worked hard to have it cleaned up quickly. We did not find the service to be exceptional - it was a hit or miss. One night our server in the restaurant was very rude and sometimes people did not even say hello. Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Clean Resort

Hotel overall was nice, well taken care of, clean rooms, pools were great, beach was nice, staff very nice.Food selection was limited and not much variety, overall nice hotel but if your looking for excitement I would not recommend this resort.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Great resort!

We had a very pleasant week. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the buffet which was great food however wouldn’t recommend the al acarte. The wait to get served was very long and the food was mediocre. The hotel was very clean. If you like a small resort this is a good choice.
