Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Amazing place!

I was very pleased with everything ! The resort is immaculate ! The only problem was a musty smell in our room 1316 ! But after a couple days it seemed better. The opening of doors helped air move ! All the restaurants were very good! Very good food at all of them ! My favorite was the Rodeo ! The Japanese one was a favorite one too! I had the spa and I was totally impressed , what a wonderful 1 1/2 hrs that was ! All the evening shows were just great too. All in all it was a wonderful trip [... read more] ! Our girl clan for my sisters 80 th bday really were impressed ! Service everywhere was very good! We were absolutely pampered !

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Would not go again.

The rooms were nice and big, but we had leaking from up above. Also the toilet handle kept sticking and the water would run, till you adjust it. Also the room service was very bad. If you needed extra hangers, extra towels, more ice etc, it took for ever. None if the buildings gave you an ocean view room, even though the tourist company did it does comes with it. They served the same food everyday at lunch n dinner. You would have to ask for the better alcohol when ordering a mixed drink. They  [... read more]call it the Luxury/Don Pablo Collection. It was not a 5* resort at all, more like a 4*. We never had a calm water day. Everyday there was a yellow or red flag at the beach. Very choppy the waters. In the restaurants the service was very bad. Many times you had to repeat yourself 3-4 times to get any service. Really disappointed. I would not go again, nor recommend this resort to any of my friends.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing but Big

Hotel room was wonderful 3 Pools and walking distance to a lovely Sandy Beach only complaint is too far to walk to Main Lobby for Meals had to take a trolley everywhere. When you got to the Lobby there was wonderful live shows and Buffet.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Horrible resort

The hotel looks beautiful. But it ends there. The food is horrible. I was sick for 5 days while there and there were a number of other visitors who were also ill. If you want alcohol in your drink you have to ASK for it! If you order a daiquiri and don't say with alcohol you will receive virgin drinks! First resort I have ever been to where this is their policy!

Surprise Escapes: Great but not a 5 star resort!

My husband and I booked a one week all inclusive to Punta Cana from December 10th to December 17, 2016. Since there are so many options out there,we decided to go with the "surprise escape" by sunwing. It guaranteed a 5 star resort, adults only for a very decent price, We got the CHic punta Cana, which wasn't much of surprise as it is owned by sunwing. THe morracan restaurant had a musty smell, to the point we could 't even enter the restaurant. As for flying with singing, we were delayed 6 hours on our return flight (stuck at airport) and when we finally boarded the plane, it took over 2 hours for the food tray to come to our row. We were then told there were no meals left!!! Other than that, if I knew what to expect I wouldn't have anything to complain about, but since I was expecting a 5 star, I was a tiny bit disappointed.

TRS Cap Cana Hotel: Great relaxing resort

Great hotel. Staff super friendly ..actually had call to our room to ensure we were having good time with no issues. We had swim up room ..this was awesome . We booked dec 10 to 17 ...resort was not very busy and very relaxing. Room service was very good and we enjoyed the food. We would definitely book there again. The beach is very small but it was a good trade off for a smaller more relaxing resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Fantastic week at the ambar green!

Our week stay at the luxury Bahia principe ambar green was absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful... the grounds are so well kept and very green. Not many flowers but lots of palm trees everywhere. The pool great too. We found it relaxing at night sitting on a lounge chair with the stars out. Enjoying the music coming from the lobby and the lights glowing in the pool. The rooms are really exquisite and very clean. Great job on the staff for doing an awesome job. Lots of fish and meat.. fresh vegetables and fruit as well!! The beach was beautiful. We were lucky not to get seaweed where we were like the rest of beach had. Lots of hits but hey there early like 6:30 if you want to sit close to the water. Staff was really helpful and always smiling. It was really a great vacation.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Not the best we've been to

No complaints about the accommodation - room cleaning service was good and the grounds were well kept and attractive. The food was adequate but started to become monotonous after a few days. The a la carte venues were good. The entertainment was particularly lacking in quality and few of the productions lived up to the standard one would expect of a resort of that caliber. Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Best Resort Yet!

This was our first trip to Punta Cana and the Dominican Republic. We were pleasantly surprised by our hotel, the Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda. Our room was clean and spacious, the food was excellent, and we were very close to the beautiful, sandy beach. We walked for hours on the beach every day, and joined in some of the recreational activities, particularly, yoga and water exercises.

Riu Republica: Great times👍

We had a grest week at Riu Republica Very good food Good service, people very nice! Organisation is good We would go back! The hotel doesn't have a bank or places to exchange money 25 minures to go to bank But next time we woyld bring morei guess Also the little shopping mall 5 mins from there, free transportation but they really push for you to buy so be careful!

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Now Onyx Punta Cana - Nice property but, past that good luck!

We vacationed at Now Onyx in Punta Cana from December 9th - 15th. Lost a day because of Air Canada (not weather related) that is another story. Yes, Now Onyx greet you with a welcome drink and a wet cloth and you think it is great ..........this is where it stops. First of all the property is lovely. The Service is very disorganized and poorly managed. One of the biggest complaints we have is the filming of promos for their resort on our paid holiday. We were instructed to not use the  [... read more]beach until 10:30 AM, to not use the pool another day until 12:00 Noon. Could not use the main lobby bar at 7:00 PM before dinner another day, in other words filming each day at various places with many interruptions during our 6 day vacation. Rooms were nice but, absolutely non consistence service. Many days without even cleaning the room, let alone replacement of towels or face clothes, soap etc. We had to repeatedly ask for soap, towels etc. Not once did they even clean the tub on the balcony even thought we asked at least 5 times.............filled with insects etc. We gave up. They shower leaked into the bedroom and toilet area, fan in the room was making a racket every time you turned it on. They did try to fix it. The safe in the room did not work , that too had to be fixed. I guess this list could go on and on. Food was just acceptable. We have travelled to Dominican about 9-10 times to various other resorts so, we were aware of what to expect . The service staff at the beach and the restaurants were trying their best but, English was certainly not part of their training. Yes, we have been to many places in Cuba, Dominican, Mexico etc and we understand that English is not their first language. However, here very few understood enough English to allow basic communication. There are two resort both owned by the same company, Breathless next door. Since their resort was full, many from that resort came to Now Onyx taking up the limited number of umbrellas for shade at the pool and other areas. It could be the issues experienced related to the fact that is was a relatively new resort that said, I doubt we would be going back anytime soon.

Excellence El Carmen: Staff were amazing

As a visually impaired guest, Staff went out of their way to make this a great experience. Room was impeccable, service was amazing and food/drinks were scrumptious - although the odd time I found a hair in my food from the main buffet (it's a good thing I'm not picky! Haha.) Overall I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing all inclusive vacation.

Riu Bambu: Charming family resort

Small charming resort. Easy to get around, beautiful beach with access to other RIU properties. Felt safe, friendly staff, and a variety of food to choose from. Pool activities and nightly. Entertainment. A very enjoyable week.

Excellence El Carmen: Amazing Resort

Excellence El Carmen definitely exceeded my expectations!Loved every minute of it. The room was beautiful, with our own hot tub, great balcony as you could sit out on it even if it rained which thankfully we did not get too much of. Secrets Royal Beach: Wasn't what we expected

Hotel and Grounds were amazing. Staff incredible. The food..well..not what we anticipated. I would not rate it a 5 star by any means. Our swim up room was cool..except we were on a side here we had absolutely no sun during the day from am to pm so to pay extra was a waste. Very loud.. louder then we expected for adults only. If the music was 1/4 of what it was I would consider it relaxing. Fun..but wouldn't go back being as we spent most of our time at now Larimer next door.

Hello, I just want to say that this was my 3rd time to GBP. Last time I was there was 4yrs ago. This time, the entertainment was pretty much none existing during the day. Our room smelled of mold. Service was a hit and miss. Over all the resort is starting to show its age. Best a la cart was the Japanese. I went with high expectations. Lower them a little and you will be fine. Occidental Caribe: Resort not great for kids

The resort was nice, great beach and kept clean. The service was good if tips were. The draw back for us was there really was no organized activities to keep children entertained. I selected this resort because there was lots of sports areas and a rock wall and game room. The rock wall was not managed the whole week and the game room was closed half the week for renovations

Excellence El Carmen: Excellenté!

Our 7 days at El Carmen were truly luxuriously relaxing. The pool view suite was comfortable, large and the balcony allowed us to sit out there during some rain and just enjoy it without getting wet. The staff were all extremely friendly amd as helpful as they could be while we both tried to close the language barrier gap. The only issue we experienced was with room service that was horrible one day/night (2 hour wait for a wrong order and then another 2 times of day old luke warm coffee being [... read more] delivered) but as the resort staff grows, and they get more famimilar with English tourists.. it's an issue that should resolve. The grounds are well maintained, the pools clean and the bars are stocked. The food was quite good, including the Buffet. Only "Oregano" was a big disappointment. We couldnt finish our dinner because it was not good. Overall... our experience was "Excellenté!"

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great Vacation

This beautiful resort has it all. We enjoyed the tropical atmosphere and relaxing in the pool areas just sitting back soaking up the sun. There were people working on flowers, shrubs and trees constantly. The resort was always spotless. We enjoyed the meals and beverages. Rooms were nice and the frig restocked often. We would recommend this resort to anyone.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Fabulous Resorts!

The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are large and very well furnished with a jacuzzi. We were staying in the elegance club section and the additional fee is really worth it : quite pools and beach, it was rarely a problem to find a sunbed or chairs in the shade, coffee shops with Nespresso and pastries and snack plus amazing customer service and I must admit that we are not the easiest people to please.
