Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Bahia principe Fantasia

This resort is great for families with kids. I could not have picked a better place for the budget I spent. Only critique I have was the kiosks at the plaza of All the Bahia principe hotels, the sales men were very bothering trying to impose you a sale on the kiosks but you can avoid that plaza all together if you wanted.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Amazing resort and staff

The Barcelo Barvaro Beach was everything that they advertised. The food was great - buffet's exceptional. Whoever is training their staff could give lessons to other resorts. Everyone there, was happy to help you, greeted you with a hello and smile. We enjoyed the "Adults Only" and it really was. We watched a staff explain to a family that they could not come in the area. There is a great little train that goes around the resort, which is huge, every 15 minutes or so. It was great being able [... read more] to use the other resorts in the chain. My husband golfed 4 days, you reserve your Tee times, then go down to the front desk, who phones the course and they send a cart over to pick you up. The waterpark is great! There were 6 of us that played a 18 hole mini golf (which was free). Another really great thing is that it is only about a 25 minute transfer from the airport, depending on traffic. I would go back anytime!

Sensatori Resort Punta Cana: Amazing Vacation

We stayed Dec 2 to Dec 9 in a premium honeymoon swim-up room 9102. We loved our room. It was spotless everyday, close to the swim-up bar and beach. Service and food were awesome. I would recommend this resort. We received the best service from Wander, Jose and Alexander the great.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: What a disorganized mess

I can't say I have ever experienced any hotel such as this property, from the time we checked in on the 9th of November till the 14th when we finally got moved to amber green. It wasn't till that day our vacation actually started, a nice room, nice surroundings,very clean and friendly staff for the most part, but try to get any bar service around the pool I guess they figured I needed the exercise by walking to the bar and standing in the sun for a while waiting for a beverage. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great resort!

This is a great resort. Grounds are amazing, the beach was gorgeous! There was a bit of construction going on near the Green pool that wasn't disclosed when we booked. However, besides a bit of noise during the day, it was a very quiet, relaxing time. The staff was friendly and the service was good. Food was great, if you like Mexican, definitely check out the Santa Fe restaurant.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Super experience

Stayed at the Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda for 7 days Dec. 1-8, 2016. A beautiful resort, with great grounds and marvelous staff. The restaurants were excellent from the buffets to Bella Italia, top rated food and all servers were so eager to please. Travelled with 2 women who have mobility issues and the staff were very accommodating, Manuel is of special note, he would drop us off right at the door to the restaurant and instruct the hostess to call him when we were finished so he could p [... read more]ick us up at the restaurant rather than us walking to the lobby. Very appreciated. Beach was lovely and kept very well groomed, as were all the grounds. A very beautiful resort in great repair and clean. Would return and highly recommend.

Excellence El Carmen: Not a Five Star .......yet

Overall, a beautiful, ultra modern resort. Few things to be worked out yet such as shoddy tile work in pools, leaks in ceilings, etc. Staff trying hard but need more training in communication and service. Food not so great in most of the restaurants. Beach area lovely. Main pool will be very crowded when hotel at full capacity. Lovely smiling Dominicans made our stay much better!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Lovin' it

We were so happy with the whole experience -grounds, buffet food and service, ala cartes, activities and animation team, amenities, location and cleaner beach than properties on either side (Majestic and Riu).

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Wonderful Resort

First off one negative thing was, Air Canada & Trip Central did not have have us registered for our arrival time to the The Resort. There was nothing showing that we were arriving on November 26,2016. We physically had to show them all our documentation to prove we belonged there, have never had this happen ever. We had to fill out paperwork and then were told not to leave the courtyard/lobby area until they worked this out. After speaking to 3 different people at the Conceirge Desk we finally got our room after almost 6 hours of waiting which was about 5:45pm we were taken to our room. This was a huge inconvenience as I am handicap and and can't stand or sit around for long periods of time. We know issues happen but we had booked this trip many months before hand. This is the soul responsibility of Air Canada/Trip Central to make sure that they have booked you in on the proper dates, we are still terribly upset over this issue we lost 1/2 day of our vacation because of this. Other than that there is not a bad word to say about this Resort, everything was accessible. Plenty of food, drinks, all areas are clean and tidy. Staff is amazing and so helpful. 2nd time visiting this resort in 6 years and yes things have changed but we found some of our old friends which was amazing, we just wanted to thank Henry, Luis, Luis and Ana for making our stay that much better, everyone is so accommodating, friendly and go that extra little bit to make sure your ok. The Entertainment Staff were just great we had so much fun, Big Poppa you put a huge smile on our faces everyday and kept everyone in shape with your aerobics LOL. Thank you We will be going back for sure next year these people make the Resort great and should be commended for going that little extra, they work extremely hard and long hours to make your vacation a memorable one, don't forget to thank them, we miss our Dominician Friends very much, Thank you and Merry Christmas

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Good and Bad but mostly Good !!

-the ocean was terrible at this location full of sea grass and huge patches of seaweed...unlike any other resort I've stayed at in the DR and this was my 4th resort. Most people on the beach weren't ever in the water...and there was garbage in the water I guess from the party boat businesses which are right at the edge of the property. - the beach was great plenty of chairs and clean - the staff was OUTSTANDING...the hardest working and most helpful people I have encountered at any re [... read more]sort anywhere!! - the food in the buffet restaurant was just ok but the other restaurants were pretty good and no issues getting reservations and the drinks were plentiful although only 2 bars a lobby bar and a beach bar - the Palace part was very nice with the casino and stores and the better restaurants and the little train that runs between the 2 parts of the resort was great

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Great Resort!

The resort was very big but has carts that take you around everywhere, beautiful beach and pool area. The food was great. The rooms are definitely old and a little worn down, but very little time was spent inside room so it didn't affect us. Would love to return.

Recently returned from Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro resort and had an amazing time. The grounds were breath taking and the people were so friendly. The beach was beautiful and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Paradisus Punta Cana: Paradisus Punta Cana

We enjoyed our vacation very much. There had been a lot of rain the week before we arrived so there was still some walk ways with 3 inches of water on them and we had to go in big trucks to get back and forth from the lobby to the beach since electric carts wouldn't go through the water. The staff was very friendly and helpful and kept the grounds, pool and bathrooms very clean. Our room keys didn't work one day and the employees were very quick to fix the issue. We really enjoy walking on the beach and this hotel had a large beach area and there was no problem with getting a chair. Overall this resort was great.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Best Time Ever

The hotel was amazing, the staff was great, the food was excellent, everything was perfect, although vendors on resort and beach were pretty pushy. The beach area of this resort seemed to be not the best compared to surrounding beaches but it was fine.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Good Resort

We liked the resort it was overall good...beach, room, food and day entertainment were great. Our family enjoyed staying at this hotel. However the night entertainment was poor and it needs to improve to attract more families.

Punta Cana Princess: Punta cana princess

This hotel is very clean and nicely laid out. The beach is absolutely beautiful. The only thing I hated while staying here was the guys selling necklaces and gadgets. They don't leave you alone. The drinks are VERY alcoholic lol they don't understand what a little rum means . Very relaxing resort.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Service definitely needs improvement

Just returned from Punta Cana and while the resort and beach are nice and the food is decent (don't bother with the steak restaurant) the service leaves a lot to be desired. I've been down south over 20 times and I have never encountered such a lack of service or effort on the part of staff (mainly at the buffet and restaurants). I should add though that the bellman, front desk and maids were fine. The restaurant staff often made it feel like they were doing you a favour if you asked for some [... read more]thing. There seems to be an assembly like atmosphere......get the job done and go on to the next task. Perhaps the staff are overworked and not happy but whatever the reason, management should seriously pay attention to this problem. At almost every meal, we'd have to ask at least 2 people for our drinks. At one meal, we were led to a table that had food spilled on the floor. In addition, a waitress spilled a considerable amount of water nearby and at no time throughout the meal did anyone make an effort to clean any of the food or water. At the Italian restaurant, instead of a greeting the first thing the waiter said to us in a brusque manner was 'are you ready to order'? We chose this resort primarily for the golf course which was excellent but the lack of service will ensure we will not return.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Great Vacation

Everything went well, rooms were clean, air conditioning worked well,service was excellent. Had a few problems with keys and the safe. Maintenance came quickly and fixed all concerns. Later received a thank you gift because of our inconvenience. Food was excellent everywhere we ate. Service was very slow at the Garden Grill. Pools and beach all wonderful. Thanks again to Gina and her terrific service helping with our vacation!

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Good Resort

The hotel grounds were beautiful as well as the pool & the beach! Customer Service was poor, we had a lot of issues when we arrived with our rooms and things not working in the rooms! They were unwilling to help us and said there was nothing that could be done. (toilettes not working, no lights, doors not closing) Overall, it was an okay stay at the resort.
