Playa Caleta: Amazing location
This hotel is on the end of Varadero,So it is quiet, and not many commercial. the beach/sea/location is perfect if you like stay in natural. but it seem this hotel is old,so you should accept its OLd.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Perfect for the price
Perfect for the price. Heavenly beautiful, friendly staff, good food, peaceful environment, anything you expect for a vacation. We just lived the place. Highly recommended for whoever wants to relax.
Memories Caribe Beach Resort: A lovely place for sun, sand, and a drink in your hand
The hotel: overall we found this place very clean and inviting. The lush grounds are meticulously very meticulous kept. The room: we went one up from the basic room to ensure we got a renovated one. Our room was spacious with a sitting area, the furnishings were modern, and the bathroom was nicely renovated. The bed was not the greatest, a little hard, but we still slept well. We were on the second floor which was nice because we slept with the patio door open (never had any bugs). That bein [... read more]
Melia Cayo Coco: Lovely Resort
My husband and I are in our early 50s and this resort was a great place to just chill. No kids with harried parents or hawkers on the beach. Food was good and of variety, drinks were delicious and the people amazing. Go, you won’t regret it.
Brisas Covarrubias: Quiet and remote resort
The resort is perfect for relaxing either on the beach or pool side! It wasn't crowded and noisy. The only problem I had was I couldn't exchange money as the resort had no money to exchange. The food was good, nice variety of dishes. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Grand Memories Varadero: Can't Get Enough...Going Back...
I just love this place... I was there in December and i returned with my son's family, and two grandchildren. My 1 1/2 yr old granddaughter was very sick and Raquel Soria Diaz....who is the reason i keep going back, was so quick to get me to the doctor it was amazing.. Such a caring doctor available and reassured me that my granddaughter would be fine. They even gave me pedialite to nourish her for the next few days. I was ever so grateful. Her parents were not on the trip with us. The son wh [... read more]
Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Sanctuary at Grand Memories
Stayed at Sanctuary at Grand Memories from January 18 to 25 Room: perfect Staff: very friendly but they do not speak English. Cuba needs to invest in teaching kids English at early stage, if tourism is their main income. Hotel Lobby: Small for Sanctuary but you have access to Grand memories and other resorts owned by the same company which are much larger Entertainment: perfect WiFi: 3 free hours are offered, you may buy more at 1 CUC per hour. Signal is poor at Lobby, much better in the r [... read more]
Melia Costa Rey: Beautiful beaches
The beach was amazing had a great time swimming , room were good Lots of problem with water literally lost water while showering or only had cold water Hard to get another bottle of water in room even with the 3 people in the room we were tipping lots Food ok but our alacate were pre picked for us and super late at night 8:30 pm I’m allergic to fish first restaurant was to seafood People were nice but service was very inconsistent Don’t think we’d go back but it was nice I gues [... read more]
Brisas Sierra Mar: Lovely Scenery
Our 3rd visit to this resort. We were pleased with almost everything - food and drinks were good, friendly personnel as usual. However, we have one huge complaint about the beach chairs (so did many of the other guests). Firstly, there are not enough chairs for the guests, and the chairs that they do have, half of them are broken or at the point of being unusable. It is very disappointing that nothing has changed with the awful chair situation since our first visit to this resort three years a [... read more]
Memories Paraiso: Wonderful Resort
In general the location is very good ...the beach and swimming pools are great....restaurants, bars are sufficient and offering a variety of food and drinks....the rooms are not bad but needs maintenance......the green areas are so beautiful and well maintained.
Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Amigo Hotel
A little run down but clean. Staff was great. would have been nice to have orientation on tipping. Guest from Russia were rude. Excellent beach. entertainment was ok. pools Ok. ////////////////////////////////////////////////
Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Beautiful beach
Beautiful beach, not impressed with food, no hot water, air conditioning was not working more than it worked and staff could be friendlier with more entertainment. Wasn’t worth upgrading to diamond club
Melia Marina Varadero: Would not go back!
This is my fourth trip to Cuba. This resort has potential but didn't meet my expectations. Food was very good but they constantly ran out of plates, glasses, spoons. Lineups were long. It was difficult to get water or coffee at the buffet. Staff were very busy - perhaps more staff is needed. The lobby bar frequently did not have wine and other items. Very few servers and the lobby bar was several people deep. The grounds appear to have adequate lighting standards/poles but the lights are burn [... read more]
Paradisus Rio De Oro: Terrific Resort
The hotel was welcoming and clean. Staff really try to help you and make sure your needs are met Food was average. The grounds were beautiful. Beach was fine but not as pretty as those in Cayo Coco Lots and lots of places to walk. The snack bar was awesome and we went there more than the buffet
Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: The Good and the Bad
Beautiful Resort - we stayed at the Coral Level - we enjoyed our private hot tub and the spacious villa. There are not many travellers in this section of the resort - very quiet at the pool, beach, and meals....which I personally like. The biggest complaint was many of the items on the menu were not available. No shrimp, calamari, and most days no lobster. If the menu items were available I would provide a higher rating - perhaps this is just a temporary problem?
Melia Jardines del Rey: Great Beach
This is our second time to this resort in the last two yrs.because of location and beach. The resort is ok but needs an upgrade to food selection and restaurant service quality just not there when we were there also not enough beach chairs or pool area. People had to get up at 7 o'clock to get half descent lounging areas. The resort visually looks great but needs lot of work not enough workers there to support client's needs. I am not sure i would be going there anytime soon unless there is a b [... read more]
Playa Caleta: Need a refresh! 2* Max!!
A lot of thing weren’t working properly, this hotel need a lot of help! The staffs were good but you see they are tired to try to do something with nothing! The half of the customers were sick because they were using the water from the sink to make drinks, forget to have a super nice cocktail, they can’t even do a mojito! Public toilettes were so disgusting... you need your own paper if you want to go...
Club Kawama: Awesome beach
This is second time, good value for your money , great walking distance from restaurants, markets, if u like to fish bring your rod as its on the other side of the street. Beach is amazing you can always see your feet. This is a resort that is so ive been told 1 km long so if u are at the other end be prepared for a walk. Very layed back resort so if you are looking or your fancy blended drinks, really good mojitos this isnt the place athough they do make awesome lime dacquiris. The food well y [... read more]
Hotel Mojito: Staff make this Resort the very Best to Visit!
This resort is an awesome place for vacation, the rooms are in need of a bit of updating but are very clean, the food is awesome, lots of choices and the dessert bar is fabulous (love the Cuban Ice-cream) The beach is a wee bit of a distance to walk to over a bridge, however when you arrive it is so amazing, lots of space on the beach and you can walk for ever! Tons of space! Love the Staff at the Bar in the Lobby, especially - Guillermo (my love)!, Lixander, Aloin and Luis, they are all so mu [... read more]
