Well overall it is a nice resort. 5 large pools, night including the swim ups. Food was very good, in all of the restaurants. My biggest complaint, being asked over and over for time share. Also, if you are thinking of a massage, head down to the beach. There are several therapists offering an hour for 20-30 USD., we got shocked in full the spa ($260 USD for a couples massage -80 min.)

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Absolutely amazing resort all around!

From the minute we arrived we were in love with this place. From the entrance to the hospitality the minute you step out of your shuttle this place is top notch. The staff in all areas are incredible and very eager to help with whatever you need. The room was stunning. Highly recommend a swimout suite! They had amazing food both at the restaurants and the buffet. I was never disappointed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! *****

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Great Family Resort

Los Cocos is perfect for families wanting a true beach experience. The water at the beach is gentle and shallow with a sand bottom. There's also a selection of pools if the beach isn't your thing. The food is well prepared, delicious and varied. All employees were very genuine and friendly and very willing to make your experience an excellent one. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a lovely selection of mature specimens. I really enjoyed my time at Los Cocos and I would love to return.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great food, surroundings, staff, but not the greatest beach and noisy at night

We were especially pleased with the quality of food available at the buffets and a la carte restaurants even if they did start a bit later than we would normally eat. The desserts were the biggest let down with only a couple that we really liked, but we were satisfied enough with the main buffet options, we didn't feel we were missing anything on the dessert end. Ice cream/ sorbets were excellent though especially when mixed with "irish cream" whiskey. The alcohol selection was very good quality [... read more] name brand selections for most anything you could want. Canned beer & soft drinks restocked daily in the room fridge was well appreciated. We liked to mix our own drinks using the canned pop. There were many places scattered around the resort to stop and pick up a drink or two without waiting in much of a line if any line was there at all. If you want to go to a resort and hang out all day around the pool this would be a good choice, or try and find a lounge chair along the beach if you're lucky. It would be so much easier if resorts simply asked people to not throw a towel on a chair and leave it there for the whole day. You would be hard pressed to find a chair on the beach without a towel on it, but 70% of those chairs had no one sitting on them for hours. And it's not like they were out swimming in the ocean. I rarely saw more than 10 people in the water at any one time. The ocean structure here is far from pleasant to enjoy except for a few small sandy patches off to one side. The staff throughout the resort were excellent, not just the people you deal with, but all the maintenance workers as well keeping the place clean and working. The crew on the beach dealing with the seaweed had the worst job ever that I would never think anyone would sign up for without some sort of mechanical help. As many people have noted in other reviews, the late night noise that filters into your room is more than enough to keep you awake at night until they finally shut off the lounge music at 1:15am. It was as loud as someone standing inside your room talking, and our room was far from where the music was coming from. I had to turn the TV on quite loud just to match the volume of the noise. If you're not a late night party person, don't expect to get an early sleep. It goes on every night of the week. For some people this would be the ideal resort to let loose... if that's not you, be prepared. Perhaps there is a quieter part of the resort you could request to be located in. Our room was on the outside edge facing the "jungle" but that didn't help. The signage around the resort is not overly helpful. None of the restaurants have any sign at all to tell you what they are. You could walk right past the main buffet and not know it is anything at all. The Steak House and Sea Food restaurants are doubled up inside the waterfront buffet at night and again there is no sign at all to tell you they are located there. You just have to ask other guests to direct you. Even the signage for what building you are in, they may tell you that you are in building 7, but when you get to the building there is some other "name" and not a number indicating what building it is.

Riu Palace Baja California: Beautiful property!

Overall this hotel was great. The rooms, pools, amenities, view were amazing. The only negative thing I can say was that the food & service at the specialty restaurants needs to improve. Being a new property, I expect this to improve over time. Adult only was great and if you wanted to party... head next door to the Riu Sante Fe.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Incredible Resort!

This hotel blew us away, the grounds, rooms, features, food, ALL spectacular. We visited over Easter so it was certainly very busy and full and a LOT of children. The room was so clean and so new, the housekeeping supplied us with everything we needed and more. My mom loved the food and drink, so happy to see such a range of selection. Will definitely come back to this resort, can't wait!

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Love this place!

had an amazing time at this resort again this is my 2nd time back. Staff are awesome and friendly and great place for kids to enjoy there time as well. Alex our waiter on the beach was awesome got us anything we needed food other then the buffet at night was also really good. Love the location of this resort as well love the food trucks across the street and the mall to go walk around.

Samba Vallarta: a lovely spot!

awesome service, beautiful grounds, warm pools, lounges/hutts always available, good buffet, amazing & unlimited french a la carte (there was also spanish a la carte, which was good too),rooms okay, the bathroom floors got wet a lot from showers. wifi access great in all locations, very entertaining shows-better than most places we've been to!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Absolutely wonderful resort

Lots of stairs , not a resort if you have mobility issues. Brand name liquor at all bars, food was wonderful at the steak house and Japanese restaurant, buffet was average. You should check if your package includes reservation for the specialty restaurants, you can go and ask if the have room and you may have to wait. Kore Tulum Retreat Wellness Resort: Amazing resort!

This resort was different from the usual resort and room service. It combined the gorgeous landscapes with amazing wildlife, Mayan culture and authentic cuisine. The staff were wonderful, very accommodating and helpful. This resort was small but not crowded and full of life. It was a wonderful experience. Just 3km from the main pickup point for excursions, the walk was pleasant and there were options for taxi transport. A great experience for the down to earth traveller who enjoys the quiet life [... read more] and wants a good place to unwind and soak in the cultural experience. This is not a singles party resort full of loud music and dance clubs, rather a resort with local live bands, entertainment, outdoor sports activities, interactive events and mindful relaxation.

Grand Sunset Princess: Beautiful Resort

This hotel was beautiful! It was huge without feeling overwhelming and the staff were terrific - super friendly and helpful! Beach was awesome and the entertainment was fantastic! Overall, a great vacation!

Rooms are very nice and clean. Would recommend clock radio's in room. If you don't have watch/cell phone there is no way to tell time Huge resort with lots of walking but they do have shuttle that will take you to room/restaurants/beach for those who have difficulty walking (and don't want to burn all those calories from fantastic meals) Did find the reservation process for a la carte restaurants cumbersome and confusing... every time we tried to make reservations at the designated time we  [... read more]were advised to show up, limited capacity/all booked or they would tell us that reservations were to be made at a different time of day. Buffet was great - so we finally gave up trying to book restaurants. Beach and grounds are well maintained.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Paradise

Beautiful setting. Great food choices. Clean. Very attentive and helpful staff. No towel games, plentiful seating and palapas. Thanks to Emmanuel, concierge, for help above and beyond. Lovely to sit on Sky Deck and see the pelicans diving, listen to the waves, and feel the "miraculous air" on your face.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Superb incredible resort!

Fabulous beautiful perfection! The staff very happy helpful, beautiful grounds very clean and well maintained, rooms exquisite interior absolutely gorgeous. Amazing food so many choices creative displays. Awsome very large pools beautiful views lots and lounge chairs at the pools and beach. Can’t say enough good things about this resort.

Canto Del Sol: I had an amazing second visit.

Yes, this was my second stay at rhis beautiful hotel and i had a wonderfully relaxing time. My vacation started as iI was checking in, when i was greeted by one of the staff offering a beverage, and a "Welcome home". From the Canto, you really do get to see the sun dance as it sets - every evening is a new experience of beauty. The food is very good,. That alone is a work of art that is worth the trip. I was very comfortable I throughout my stay. This is a great resort and it is very family oriented. I had my family with me on my last visit. For this trip I was focused on diving with one of the scuba shops on the Malexon. Oh yes, the Malecon promenade in downtown Puerto Vallarta is only an 80 peso taxi trip from the Canto.

Breathless Cabo San Lucas: Great Location!

the hotel is located right on the Marina in downtown Cabo San Lucas with some rooms having a marina view, and some with an ocean view. It has one of the few swim-able beaches in Cabo, and is close to all the action. It's kind of a 'party' atmosphere with the rooftop patio and pool, DJ playing every night, and unlimited drinks... which really wasn't what WE were after, but looked like people were having fun. The location however, is hard to beat.

Riu Palace Baja California: Great rooms & pools.

The Hotel was very nice with fantastic pool/views. Many of the staff didn’t speak/understand English very well. The “Specialty Restaurants” were not very good, except for Japanese which was good. The Buffet was not too bad, however it gets “old” pretty quick. By far the best meals we had were off the resort. As it’s a new Hotel (4-5 months) I would expect it will improve over next year? Breathless Cabo San Lucas: Great hotel

We had a great time nice to have the ocean on one side and the marina on the other . Everything you want on a holistic. The staff was amazing always so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice and always clean .

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Very relaxing!

Just got back from Air Transat trip to Akumal Bay resort and wellness centre. The place was extremely clean and the food was amazing. We stayed on 3rd floor which they call the penthouse with private roof top jaccuzi tub. Two lounge chairs and an umbrella and you got a great quiet place to unwind. Beach was nice but unfortunately it was difficult to go into water as the large amount of kelp/ seaweed floating up on to beach. They work super hard all day cleaning it up but seems like a never end [... read more]ing job. Weather was sunny hot and very windy. One main pool with only sun beds around it chairs all down on beach so we stay alot up on our roof top retreat. There's another smaller pool 4 buildings we were in building three which was perfectly located. I would recommend up grading to the penthouse room . It's a very quiet and relaxing resort . There were lots of weddings. We saw 6 in the one week we were there. They make sure your mini fridge is stocked every day. Quality alcohol. It was a perfect vacation I really needed it! It's a bit of a drive from Cancun airport, a little over an hour. If you like small resorts with really good food and drinks this place would be for you!

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Awesome Resort

This is the second time I have been to iberostar Cozumel, this resort does not disappoint. The food is awesome, the dinner buffet has a different selection each night and the servers and cooks are always working hard and making sure you are happy with what you have. The resort is so lush and beautiful, you can see all the hard work the maintenance crew puts into the property. All of the employees at iberostar are amazing, Miguel and Cesar are we’re the best entertainers and we’re always havi [... read more]ng fun with the guests, Francisco was our pool bartender for the week and never disappointed. All the rooms were very clean and we’re maintained that way throughout the week of our stay. The beach has a lot of coral so beach shoes are needed or you can enter the ocean by the pier which is what we did and water shoes were not needed, the pool is very large and has dual access to the pool bar. This resort has a new show each night but does not have much of a nightlife after the show ends at about 2300. Overall we had a great stay at iberostar Cozumel and I would highly recommend this resort to all my friends and family.
