Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: Great experience

The resort is huge and has lots of hang out areas to choose from to change it up everyday. My fiance and i both loved the food we ate at the two buffets breakfast lunch and dinner. Our room had some minor problems that didnt bother me at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful and i personally had no issues with time share offers. We booked a couple excursions and had a great time.

Impressive Punta Cana: Girls Trip

The Impressive Resort and Spa was a great, clean, safe and fun atmosphere for our ladies-extra-long-weekend (5 day) trip !!!! We did the parasailing 'tour' leaving directly from our resort/beach (no long bus rides) and the price was reasonable and the parasailing, itself, offered breathtaking 'birds eye' views that you can only get from the sky ! We had the same serves (CARMEN/LISA ) each day in the buffet- they remembered our drink orders and made sure to introduce themselves, which we thought was great :) A+ to them., they made us feel very comfortable and they spoke english which was also nice. We Easily rate this an 8-9 out of 10...we may have misunderstood the advert, but, there is no room service or food avail after 10:30 pm when the buffet closes. Housekeeping A+ all of our requests were met - extra pillows, towels, bar fridge supplies etc. Swim-up Bartenders Kelvin & Luis also A++++ great guys, friendly and FAST with the drink orders. The Michael Jackson show in the theater was also AWESOME !! Highly recommend going to this show if you can.....great way to spend the evening - nice night breeze to cool off, lots of fresh drinks and people up dancing/enjoying the show. A++ Overall, highly recommend this hotel - very reasonably priced - and the staff do really work very hard to keep the guests happy.... GREAT VACATION !!!!!!

Sunscape Puerto Plata: An excellent vacation

We truly adored our vacation. The hotel was beautiful and spotless. The people were very courteous, extremely helpful. The food was exceptional, every restaurant we went too, we were never disappointed. We booked through trip central, and had no complications what so ever. We will book with them from now on. Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Amazing Resort!

I would highly recommend The Bahia Principe Aquamarine! From the moment we checked in the service was outstanding! The staff were ALL amazing. The food was great! The hotel was unbelievable clean and the ground were very well maintained. I will be visiting this property again.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Amazing resort and beach !!

Excellent French fry truck at the beach, always lots of clean towels, entertainment was top notch, especially the Lion King !! and Pineapple made sure we had lots of activities to partake in: horseshoes, mini golf, volleyball, finger painting, etc. Food was plentiful at the buffets and al a cartes were good.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Great resort

This was our 5th time here to this specific resort. We are always pleased with everything as there is something for everyone. We stay in the junior suites usually building 2 or 3 which we like as they are close to everything. The rooms are clean always fresh towels hot water and stocked fridge. The food at the buffet gets a bit repetative but we enjoyed the a la carts much better. This is definitely a go to resort for us!

Riu Republica: GREAT RESORT

Hotel was great food was great like that WiFi was everywhere on the resort big plus in my books found night shows wasn't a 5 star maybe 3 star in my books. Pools where well maintained and services was great. Was a bit disappoints on our room had a smell to it like sewage at times. And our sheets were damp had to air out the room every day

Sunscape Dominicus La Romana: Lovely! !

I really enjoyed it. The staff were lovely . The beach also! A special shout to Juan from snack bar/Mexican a LA carte took such good care and the mexican food yum. Also Yun Yun from the animation dept. Lovely lady. She even went out of her way when she had seen I had cut my knee to get a life guard to come and fix me up! The grounds are beautiful.

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: Blue Bay Puerto Plata

A small safe resort with a 20 min drive to airport. 2 swimming pools quite adult only resort. This was good value but can’t be compared to the large resorts say in Mexico. Our group of 10 enjoyed ourselves- if a quite time is what your looking for then you will be at home. Rooms are basic but adequate.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Didn’t meet expectation

The hotel was just ok. Very difficult with communication.. barely speaks English.. Foods were just ok too.. services were not that great.. inb terms of alcohol highly recommends BYO... local alcohol was not good and their premium is not even premium... won’t recommend anyone..

Viva V Samana by Wyndham: Absolutely fantastic!

Great hotel excellent service, friendly staff. Entertainment is OK but we were there for the sun, sand and surf. Quiet but fun. Long Beach where you can walk forever in each direction. Fantastic food!

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: Beautiful Resort

This was my very first trip down south and it was a wonderful experience. The resort was small but made it convenient with everything so close together. Food was delicious and there was always a lot available.

Viva V Samana by Wyndham: Great resort!

Small enough resort that there was no waiting in lines. Large enough to have good options for food. Staff was fantastic, especially Luz, Jennifer, Louis and Yucuiry. Had a great time. Beach was great! Kayaks, boogie boards in great shape. Food was good. Lots of options for mixed drinks. Endless supply of Presidente beer. Quiet by the pool, activities a plenty, but not pushed on you. All in all great place for the DR. Excursions available, but nothing is pushed.

Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: Great resort

Just got home from a 1 week stay at cofresi. Overall I would give it a 4.5/5. Beach was nice ! Pools were great. The staff was amazing, very friendly. Room was okay, nothing special but it got the job done. The buffet food was okay, the alacartes were delicious. Would highly recommend visiting paridise island for an excursion, it was beautiful and lots of fun. My girlfriend and I would definitely return.

Playabachata Hotel: Took me by surprise. Fantastic

Everything was amazing. The rooms. The 24 hour bar. The cleanliness, the Russian ladies from Moscow. I was expecting a little more better food but I got by. They hosted the super bowl like a bar in the USA. I was blown away.

Tropical Deluxe Princess: Better than expected!

We had 2 family suites for our ladies week vacation. Rooms were spacious. We had a couple of glitches with the air conditioner in one room which was fixed after calling maintenance. Inconsistency with bringing the same # of towels each day. We tipped housekeeping each day and found that the general cleaning did deteriorate near the end of our stay. The rooms need some attention. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Brazilian restaurant was a very nice experience. We did not go to the Dominican restaurant because we enjoyed the Dominican themed night at the buffet. The wine needs improvement. White,red and rose were not very good quality. Other drinks were nice, although quite strong(I’m sure many would enjoy this;) Wifi was very slow and unreliable in the lobby. Sunwing offered a shopping trip from the hotel to a small venue for jewellery, souvenirs and chocolate and cigars. This needs to be changed. It is really only a half hour of shopping. We had to wait over an hour to be allowed to return to the resort. A lot of very upset vacationers. Sitting around waiting for drivers that were just waiting inside the building not allowed/willing to bring us back to the resort. The shopping centre itself was alright,but this really detracted from what would have been a nice outing. The pools were all nice enough. Lots of loungers. The swim up pool was a bit rowdy for us but we switched to a different pool. The ladies bathroom by the quiet pool was very tight. The doors are very close to the toilets in each stall. Also, at the beginning of the week there was a soap dispenser but as the week progressed parts of it fell off. By the end of the week, it was completely off the wall and removed. There was no soap in this bathroom for the last 2 days of our trip. Needless to say, this is unacceptable. We used our own wipes and hand sanitizer. The grounds were lovely and the assortment of birds was amazing. The coffee shop had a really great assortment of specialty drinks and it was great to have ice cream and iced drinks in the afternoon.

Sensatori Resort Punta Cana: Punta cana Sensatori Resort

This resort was very clean and the food and drinks were amazing. We had the honeymoon suite 3rd floor adult section it was beautiful however would have liked ocean view but saw in one of those rooms there was a family and it was supposed to be adults only. This resort should have a complete adult section including pool but it does not. There were way more kids than we thought and did not like that so much. VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Good resort

It was a good resort, food was good rooms were clean, the vintage club was good only thing I wish they did was block the vendors on the beach from being able to come in the vintage beach section, service at dinners was ok, could use a little work.

Be Live Experience Hamaca Beach: Not a good place for anyone with manners or dislikes rude people

We recently took my wife's parents to this resort. However, the resort (I was told) has a special deal for Russians....and there were 800 of them staying there. They make Americans look like well mannered people! Rude, pushy, obnoxious and selfish, they would wait foe new trays of fruit at the buffet.....then take it all....and leave most of it at their tables. There weren't enough towels in the rooms, especially hand towels....again, because of the boorish Russians taking extras from the housek [... read more]eeping carts. They would go in groups to the beach.....and remove items from the chairs that others were using and take over the space....then lie about it. One cowardly Russian even went so far as to threaten my wife with the universal thumb draw across the throat......but was too gutless to repeat it when I was there. Fortunately, the hotel took our problems seriously and took acceptable action.....for this, the Guest Services manager, Tomas S. deserves our thanks and repect. However.......this resort should be left to those unmannerly and crude persons that share the same lack of respect for others.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Fantastic Resort

We had a great time at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana. Great resort for kids. Food was fantastic and there were many places to choose from. Would definitely recommend this resort. It is very large so lots of walking but there are also trains that go around the resort very regularily if you don’t like to walk! Loved our vacation.
