Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great Resort

This resort is clean and the people are extremely friendly. There is always something to do if you want it just relax. The beach has some rocks close to shore and seaweed would blow in but still so much fun to play in the waves. The food is very good and a lot of variety at all the restaurants and I especially enjoyed the ice cream shop. The only problem was they screwed up my return information causing me to miss the bus and almost the plane, that was extremely stressful and I had checked two  [... read more]times about return information.

Breathless Cabo San Lucas: Beautiful location

The resort itself is beautiful. Great location if touring the town and nightlife is for you. The rooms were spacious. Few cons to this trip: the service wasn’t great at the restaurants and neither was the food. Very small portions so ordering multiple courses is recommended. The rooms didn’t have many plug ins, and our fridge was slow at being replenished 2/4 days, especially for the water. Excellence Riviera Cancun: Best resort ever

One of a kind resorts. We loved everything about it. The staff was fabulous and catered to all of our needs. The food was delicious in all of its restaurants. We are definitely planning to come back next year and would recommend this resort to anyone. Time of our lives.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Fantastic Resort

Secrets is a Beautiful Resort close to beach. Great restaurants. Staff is excellent. For golfers the Greg Norman designed course is in spectacular condition with Beautiful ocean views. Spent 7 nights and never felt we needed to leave the resort.

Riu Dunamar: Super Resort

This new resort, Riu Dunamar, is a GEM... we have to say this resort was the cleanest, well kept resort. You do not have to reserve for the A la Carte restaurants which was very nice...people very friendly...they moved us to a the room next door to our family member with no fuss which we appreciated very much. Buffet was EXCELLENT . Only one thing bothered us and I read a few reviews with the same concern but I guess they do not take this problem seriously. ..they probably will when a kid will [... read more] get hurt and the way the swim up bar are designed, some kids will get hurt one day... our thoughts on this family oriented resort is that the 2 swim up bars should be ADULT ONLY. they have 5 pools on this resort. 3 pools for family. .2 swim up a for adult. But I guess they do not consider this since it was reported before me and nothing has changed. Other than that...all positive resort.

Riu Emerald Bay: Great trip

Beautiful, large beach. Very clean. Beautiful ocean view. Spaced out well so you don’t feel it is as large as it is. Currently under construction. Rooms were incorrect and hotel did not compensate in any way.

Occidental Cozumel: Incredible Resort

This resort was very well maintained and the staff was top notch. Pool side you will find a few iguanas that love to lounge around just as much as the tourists. Water was very clear and calm, and there were a lot of activities/water sports available each day. No shortage of lounge chairs either, we were always able to find a spot. Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Great Holiday

This hotel had everything we were looking for: Large, comfortable rooms; Lots of food variety; Friendly staff; Amazing views from the balcony. The sports bar doesn't open until 4pm and the Manager was able to let us in early in order to watch an NHL game. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful. We booked all of our a la cartes on arrival and no issues with timings or availability. The Italian was my favorite. Always plenty of variety at the buffet. The three pools provided us the  [... read more]opportunity of quiet solitude at the adult only pool, or relaxing at the infinity pool. We always had a lounger albeit the later in the day you went to the pool, the harder to find them. We travelled as four adults and would return. Amenities and grounds were impeccable. No complaints. The only downfall is the limited beach, with very rocky area entering the water (water shoes a must!).

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Older resort with great service and amazing food,

We’ve stayed at 2 of the other properties onsite and this seems to be the older of the 3 with smaller rooms. But the food and service were very good. Francesco in the dining room at breakfast every day was excellent. I was travelling with a broken leg, which wasn’t easy as the pathways are very rough, cobblestone and my knee scooter wasn’t designed for 4wheel drive. I advised the resort in advance that I had a broken leg and wheelchair and was given a ground level room close to the lob [... read more]by, however it wasn’t “accessible”. The bathroom was so small that the door hit the toilet when opened, the tub was difficult to get into especially with a half glass door. I’m lucky my injury is temporary. I don’t think someone in a wheelchair could have managed. The knee scooter is half the size and I barely fit into the bathroom. Everything else is similar to other resorts: people saving chairs with the towels even though signs says not to, weak drinks, and lots of seaweed on the beach. Also, the timeshare people lied to our faces, saying they weren’t selling timeshares. Be careful. But the food in the buffet and a la carte restaurants is excellent, the staff are very friendly and provide great service. We would go back but not with a broken leg.

Breathless Cabo San Lucas: Resort was good at best

I found the layout to be very odd for an All Inclusive resort in Cabo. I have stayed at two other properties in Cabo and this was my least favorite. The service was excellent however, the food moderate at best with very small portions, but the thing that surprised me was the small pool and no swim up bar. The "fun" pool and buffet were quite a distance to get to, especially after a long day in the sun! Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing!

The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The food was delicious (so many options). The staff were friendly and helpful. We did however get served a bottle of wine at the seafood place and were only told after that it was from the wine list not the house wine, we were charged $35 for it.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: AMAZING RESORT

We absolutely loved this resort. Our room was very clean and spacious. We had a little trouble with our air conditioning at the beginning, but we called and the staff arrived promptly to our room and fixed the problem perfectly. The grounds were beautiful, the food was spectacular and the staff were very friendly and always willing to help in any way possible. The pools and beach were stunning and restaurant service and poolside service was excellent.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Loved this Resort!

Everything about Royalton Riviera Cancun was fantastic, entertainment, food, staff, our room and overall atmosphere of the resort. We loved our week there and would return over and over. We did a 3 family vacation and every single one of us could not make a single complaint about anything.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Unless you need to be on the beach, why stay anywhere else!!!

This hotel is fantastic from the rooms to the food / drinks to the grounds. Absolutely wonderful. Being adults only, the resort is very peaceful, away from the highway and family resorts. It is in the jungle but the trolley rides to the beach, the Hacienda or to other resorts were quick. We never waited more than 5 minutes. The buffet restaurant is the best I've ever had! Lots of choices! The 24 hours snack bar would make you fresh food at 3am and the butler service around the pool [... read more] and at the beach were a nice touch. The rooms were modern and very cozy. We had a regular room as we didn't see the need for a hottub so I can't comment on that! But all in all, dollar for dollar, this is our resort from now on. Why pay more for the same! ***Small Tip*** since this resort is approximately 75 minutes from the airport, we booked a private transfer. Waiting for the bus and going through other resorts to drop people off was my issue the last time we visited the Bahia and will never take the bus again.

Krystal Grand Cancun: Very clean resort

Very clean and well kept resort Good wifi Beach is very crowded and used by locals as well. The only small complaint I would have is that we were told by our airline rep that we would get a hospitality room since we were leaving for the airport 5h after our checkout time, but of course that did not happen.

Riu Santa Fe: Great resort and great location

This resort was absolutely gorgeous. Very well maintained and all staff was super friendly. Special shoutout to the entertainment team who does such an amazing job every single day. I would definitely go back and would 100% recommend.

Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Good Resort but avoid “Air Canada Vacations”

This resort is nothing fancy but makes up for it in other ways. Very clean, service was amazing, and food was good (not a ton of variety but was all good). Minus it being Easter break for the locals and it being bombarded with children on the weekends, it was a great trip. Probably would not return because of the amount of kids and lack of adults only area (one on the beach with terrible old beach chairs that turned into more of a smoking area). Did not have sunclub, and did not ever wish we had [... read more] it. Only thing that is better is that you get cans of beer instead of draft, premium liquors and wifi. Wifi in lobby was good. Beach was beautiful and great for morning walks. Ixtapa itself is also very very safe and has beautiful walking and biking paths! “Air Canada Vacations” on the other hand was terrible. We had a shuttle to the hotel and were told that our flight back was the last direct flight out of Ixtapa being the end of season. Well the morning of the day we flew home we got an email saying our flight was cancelled. I got in touch with the air canada rep in Ixtapa and he said there was nothing to worry about and they just changed the flight number. To then get to the airport and wait 2 hours for 50 people to check in and have our names “not in the system” along with 6 or 8 others. Long story short they switched the size of plane and it did not fit everyone that was booked. We ended up getting the last three seats but a family of 4 and a couple others were being sent on the milk run home and it was said they may not get home for a couple extra days. (Ixtapa, México city, Houston, Vancouver) Our bags also did not show up when we got back to Vancouver, but somehow showed up the next day. Overall I would recommend the resort, especially for those with kids! But NEVER fly with Air Canada

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Great week at a beautiful resort!

We arrived back home on Sunday night. We had a great week! It is a beautiful resort and the grounds are so well maintained . The staff all seem to work so hard. The food in the buffet was great with lots of variety. We ate at the steakhouse once and enjoyed it. The only negative I found was one day the room wasn't cleaned, but the money that we left for the maid was gone. I went to the front desk and they were on it immediately. We both agree that we would return to the resort.

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Fantastic experience!

My wife, two children and myself were just amazed at the brilliance of the Grand Palladium! Every facet of the resort exceed our every expectation! We were in a loft suite in the Family Selection and we cannot recommend this area enough. From the private check in, to the 24 hour Family Host, and the overly attentive staff at every turn, we were felt to be special, unique individuals within a very large resort. My son was over the moon, when they brought us an XBox to our room for the week! As well, Monse adopted our 2 year old daughter, and treated her like a princess! Her nails have never looked so good! She took such good care of our children! The resort was fantastic! The shuttle and boat service was amazing! We never had to wait more than a minute or two to be taken to our destination. On the few times we chose to walk to the Village (or home to our room on the beach) it was such a serene and pleasant trip. The restaurants were awesome! All of the A la Carte’s had a kids menu as well, so we all could thoroughly enjoy our meals (and my wife and kids enjoyed the “fire coffee” show in the Mexican restaurant!). But by far, we loved the coffee shop the most! Red velvet cake every day! My son was in heaven! Strongest recommendation for the resort, and in particular, the Family Selection! We can’t wait to return!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Wonderful first experience in Mexico

Our stay at the resort was excellent! All of the workers are very friendly and helpful. Best way to get around is by passenger shuttle rather than taxi because it is MUCH cheaper. They are parked on the side of the highway right outside of the resort. Strongly recommend staying away from excursions and planning things out on your own to save a lot of money.
