Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Amazing Resort

The Hotel room was a little dated and moldy. But the Resort as a whole was AMAZING. Had a GREAT time. Loved the staff they were so friendly. Food was great, enjoyed the buffet everyday as well as the restraunts on site.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Amazing experience!

This hotel was amazing! I loved every minute of it! My boyfriend and I were on this trip for a wedding he had never been down south but this hotel made him fall in love with the caribean! The people were super friendly and the beach was amazing! Food was also amazing! (french toast is superb!). The only problem with this resort is that they changed it to more of a family oriented resort so there was a lot of families and people went to bed early. The resort is a little distance away from any excursions but that is okay because you get to see the culture of jamaica on the way! We went to a place called the blue hole which is not yet government owned so it only cost us 30 bucks and we had a blast! So much fun! I recomend the hotel to anyone who has not been to jamaica!

Hotel Bella Costa: very friendly resort

it has been a great five star resort in its day,but it is now a little dated.The staff are very friendly and do a great job in daily activities and evening entertainment.The beach is beautiful and the food is above average for Cuba

Memories Jibacoa: Amazing view and hospitality.

I loved my ocean view room, the best I ever had. The staff will do everything they can to accommodate your request, totally satisfied with them. Surrounded by hills and gorgeous beach this hotel and staff makes you feel totally fine. Being able to stay in the swimming pool till evening, having dinner at the buffet with a piano player or local singing group every night (no problem in coming as you are), so good when you just wanna to have break from rules, commitment and etiquette. Memories Jibacoa: Relaxing and beautiful

This was our second time at this resort and for sure not the last.We just wanted a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful reef and we found it here.If you like nature and enjoy snorkeling this is the place.Most of the staff (90% like any other place you will find few staff that do not care) are very nice and helpful ,food is good entertainment was OK. A place to visit for sure.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Hidden Jem

We stayed at the Grand Lido from Sept. 24-Oct. 1. Travelling with my boyfriend and another couple. We had an incredible time. My first impression of the resort was that yes, it is a little dated, but everything was always clean. The staff and service more than made up for this. Checkin was smooth and we were taken to our beach front room. Room was spacious and clean.The view .....amazing! We were just steps from the gorgeous beach. The buffet was open for lunch, or you could also go to the jerk hut. There you could get anything from pasta to sandwiches, jerk chicken or pork, or a burger. Great spot for lunch or dinner if you didn't want the buffet. At dinner you had a choice of 3 restaurants( italian, Mediterranean, Japanese ) they were all very good. Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Loved the resort

We came back from a great vacation on October 1. We have been to Jamaica 6 times and this was our second trip to the Grand Lido. The first time was many years ago when it was the original Grand Lido so we didn't know what to expect. We were not disappointed. All of the staff at the resort were great and went out of their way to make it a great experience. Another couple joined us that had never been to Jamaica before. The best we have had. Cabanas on the beach would be our only recommendation for changes.

Breezes Bahamas: Solid 3 Star

When I do the "all in" trips I look for a beautiful beach and good food which the Breezes had (food was good not great). The decor is date which I don't really care too much about. Rooms were fine by me however my better half complained of bed bugs and no mini fridge or water provided. The service was amazing, really great down to earth workers that did a great job (especially Michelle at pool bar) Overall 6.5 out of 10

Memories Jibacoa: My favorite place in the world

I can't say enough good words about this place, the staff are absolutely amazing, caring, helpful with anything you need. The service is top notch! Jose, Odeitty our bar tenders are the best guys in the world..Denise and I miss you guys big time!

Hotel Bella Costa: Awesome resort

This resort was wonderful , very friendly, staff was great, place was very clean....it is older but lots of character....the beaCh is the best in Varadero....We loved it the grounds are very pretty.....the people are very sincere, THE FOOD WAS REASONABLE....10 out of 10 in my book!!!

Hotel Los Cactus: Beautiful place

Overall I had a fabulous time. There were plenty of activities around the pool, the beach and the entertainment in the evening was lots of fun with a variety of acts. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The beach was amazing and wonderful to swim in. The only negative was the air conditioning filters needed to be cleaned as there was a musty smell which gave me some concern. On the positive, the room was large with plenty of room. The food at the Italian Restaurant was very good and Pe [... read more]dro our waiter was hilarious and an excellent server. In the main dining room the food was so so. I was concerned with some of the cold cuts as it may have been left out too long. In the evening one of our hostesses (Janelle) was fantastic. She was very attentive and her smile always welcomed her guests.

Memories Jibacoa: Great snorkelling!!

This was our first visit to this resort but our 9th time to Cuba. The beach isn't a great walking beach like we have seen elsewhere, however the coral reef right in front is why we went there. From the beach swim about 200 yards straight out and you come to a 30 foot wall of coral in chrystal clear water. Lots of fish of every colour you can imagine. The grounds are very mature and meticulously cared for. There is just one pool so don't expect waterfalls and swim up bars but it is very clean and [... read more] 2 jacuzzis as well. The buffet was standard Cuban, no surprises one way or another. Ditto for the 2 restaurants. The beach Ranchon was nice with great grilled chicken and fish and roasted whole pork once a week. The room was very clean and well maintained. As the resort started in 1999 the only sign of wear and tear was the games room which could use a reno. The resort is built in a bay with hills on 3 sides so it made a nice contrast with the ocean in front. We love swimming and would go back anytime. Staff are very friendly and polite.

Rooms were a little dated, but were clean. The grounds were well keep and easy to map the different areas. The beach was wonderful! Entertainment daily to enjoy. The food was good, you should not be hungry. Staff were very pleasant to talk to. We had a great vacation.

Even though the resort is located in Cuban countryside, it still offers lots of fun if you are looking for it. If not, you can have a quiet vacation. The staff is very helpful and will assist you any way they can. I recommend establishing friendly relationships with the staff, this will allow you to better understand the resort and Cuba in general. Ask questions, if the staff member you ask cannot help, they will find someone else who can. Was not too crowded, there was always plenty of space on [... read more] the beach any time of the day. No mosquitoes, even at night, don't know how to explain this. I recommend to venture outside the resort for a walk to see real Cuba. The food in the buffet is great, something new every day. Snorkeling is not as great and scenic as expected, but it is probably because I am just not into snorkeling, only did it a couple of times. Although the hotel brochure states that tips are not accepted, the experience proved otherwise. It is easy to tip to the resort staff, they truly deserve it. The shows at night are great and authentic, giving you the taste of Caribbean/Latin American music and dance. Bring more cash than you think you'll need considering the relative remoteness of the area, was not a lot of fun having to count the remaining funds every day towards the end of vacation.

Breezes Bahamas: Great resort

This a great resort. The food was very good something for every taste. The staff was amazing friendly and accommodating. The decor is typical island decor not fancy but very clean. The beach is amazing. The pool was not hugh but very well maintained. Gym -games room were clean and well used - lots of ongoing entertainment day and night some good some so so Its all about location and beach ******

Breezes Bahamas: Very nice

Good value for the money, beautiful beaches, friendly staff. Minor annoyances like having to have the room keycard reprogrammed two or three times daily and calling 5 times to have the safe fixed. Also, the dining room was kept so cold it was impossible to eat without wearing a sweater. Otherwise, a very enjoyable time, wish I was still there!

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Grand Lido Negril

This Hotel was fantastic. Acces to the ocean was immediate. Beach was fantastic and very clean bottom. The small resort is showing signs of aging but it was very clean and the food was very good. 2 of the 3 restaurants on site were very tasty. Recommend the Japanese restaurant.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Grand Lido is Great!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time the entire week! The room was besutiful and clean. The food was great (buffet). We also enjoyed the Japanese and Greek restaurants. The staff was very friendly no matter where you were on the resort. We were steps away from our room to the beach which was amazing! Night life was pretty tame but if you want a relaxing vacation with no kids this is the place to go! We have already recommended it to many people!

Hotel Los Cactus: Fantastic Week

This hotel was overall pretty phenomenal I have to say! I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Beautiful resort, incredibly clean grounds, pleasant staff, large rooms...everything I was hoping for when booking this trip. The food was good if you take into consideration it is Cuba. I wasn't expecting fantastic food. It was good, nothing made me sick...it just gets tiring eating the same thing all week but I totally expected that.
