Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Decent trip

Overall we do have a good trip. The staff here were very friendly and welcoming. The beach was stunning although a bit rough. Drinks at this resort were top notch. Made perfectly and massive variety. The food was just ok, typical resort food and nothing special. There are lots of pools but they do need maintenance, my daughter cut her foot at two different pools from broken drain as well as missing tiles causing sharp edges, also one of the pool lights was popped out of the hole and just floatin [... read more]g at the side of the pool with wires exposed. Water park was actually great and our kids had the best time there. That being said 5 out of 8 of our party did become sick with vomiting and diarrhea (which seems to be common at this resort from reading other reviews). Overall we did have a good trip however I would not visit this resort again nor would I personally recommend it. That being said if you have booked here I do think you will have a good time as long as you don’t get sick.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Marien Puerto Plata

Hi Sandra Few issues with our trip to the Marien. First off we recommended main floor. We were given 2nd floor. They finally arranged for ground floor a few days into our trip. Secondly there was a rain storm that ended with us getting back to our room to find an inch and a half of water all over the floor, in all areas of our room. We contacted front desk and they said they would send someone but no one showed. My husband had to clean up all the water with towels. Water would not go down drain [... read more]s. Toilets stopped working no water. Our travel companions who both have mobility issues had water on there floor as well did not get any assistance till the next day when the maid arrived. This was our 2nd trip to this resort and we’re disappointed. We registered a complaint with guest services. Moral at the resort was not good with staff. We had to wait and request numerous times to get water and coffee many of the days we were at this resort. We feel that we paid a lot of money and did not receive the services that we paid for and are asking Transit to compensate us for the difficulties we experience. Please look into this for me and get back to me as soon as possible.

Paradisus Grand Cana: Great Modern Design

The suites are spacious and modern. The beach was amazing and service at the beach was fabulous. Thanks Jose for a wonderful experience. The food and restaurant reservation policy were a disappointment.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Fabulous Resort!

The grounds are absolutely stunning. The property, rooms, pools, and common areas are spotless and beautifully detailed. The food in Quimera and the A La Carte Restaurants is excellent. The buffet food is adequate. The shows are fabulous. The bars and drinks are superb! The staff is extremely kind and always willing to help. We foud a difference in check-in service because of the lack of butlers and concierges cannot do all that the past check-in staff plus butlers used to do. VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: We return there every year, and for a good reason

Nothing is perfect in the world, and it is up to us to find the perfection. We return to this resort for very specific reason: cleanliness, beach, food and steady climate and hospitality. Always good.

Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: WASTE OF MONEY - DON'T GO

ROOMS OLD VERY OLD. OUT DATED AND WORN OUT. NO HOT WATER FOR 5 DAYS, MOLD IN ROOMS, VERY NOISY, LOTS OF STAIRS. BEACH IS DISGUSTING, VERY DIRTY. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. FOOD HORRIBLE. STAFF SO-SO IF YOU GET A GOOD ONE. PLEASE REMOVE YOUR WEBSITE - OR UPDATE IT. MUST BE 25 YEARS OLD. THE PLACE DOES NOT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE IT , NONE OF THE PICTURES ARE ACCURATE. IT WAS LIKE WE WERE ON SURVIVOR, IT WAS THAT BAD.

Dreams Flora Resort and Spa: beautiful Resort with all Amentities

Very clean, spacious rooms . Al acartes and buffet served a wide variety of good food. Coffee bar open 24 hours serving any kind of coffee imaginable hot or cold along with sandwiches ,baked goods ,fruit and,frosty treats. Enjoyed the live music daily especially the live band at the beach. Pools were clean and bar service great, buffet service was a little slow if waiting on chef to cook especially in the mornings.

Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana: Great resort!

Hubby and myself: both Seniors, recently spent 2 wks here. We booked thru Trip Central, Forest. Ont,; agent Karen G. Our third floor corner room had 2 balconies with ocean view and pool views. Our butler Laura was exceptional : helpful and prompt with our requests. All staff: friendly and hardworking. We enjoyed the following restaurants there: Dorado, Zen, Jade, Hunter Steakhouse and Grazie Italian Weather was stellar! Thanks Karen for arranging this marvellous trip!

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Wonderful Experience

The staff were very friendly always smiling or singing. The food was amazing always fresh, flavourful, with a variety of choices for everyone’s palate. The grounds were very well maintained. The pools were never overcrowded. The beach was beautiful the sand was clean there was some seaweed but not enough that you couldn’t enjoy the beach. The daily activities were very enjoyable and the entertainment staff do an amazing job to get everyone to participate. The nightly entertainment shows were awe [... read more]some. The only complaint we have was not getting the proper room when we arrived and after being told it would be corrected but never was. That is the only thing I have to say was disappointing. I would definitely return to this resort without hesitation. Also after meeting many other people who were on their 3rd or 4th or 14th time returning to this resort tells me that we are not the only ones who have the same opinion that The Majestic Colonial Resort is the place to be for your vacation.

Secrets La Romana: Amazing Resort

This resort was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and helpful. You were made to feel special from the moment we arrived until we departed. Our room was beautiful. We had a private patio and swim up pool. The food was amazing. We visited the Japanese restaurant twice for the hibachi dinner which was excellent. The buffet had lots of variety along with fresh fish and salads. We were booked in the Preferred Club which gave you access to a lovely snack area. There also was a cafe offering capp [... read more]uccinos, espresso and fresh desserts and pastries. The only negative I can mention is the Preferred Club beach which was too small for the amount of lounge chairs and people, making it very crowded. The pool area was very nice and less people so we tended to hang there instead.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great resort

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. It’s beautiful. When we checked in we were told we had a ground floor room. When we got there it was on the 3rd floor. I was to tired and hot to complain. So we stayed. It was not a renovated room and we had a leak from the ceiling in the hall, it got fixed and leaked again the next night. Until all the rooms get renovated I would ask for an upgraded room. Overall, it is a very nice resort.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Great Vacation

Spent a fabulous week at the Royalton Chic, Punta Cana. Lovely resort with well kept grounds, modern clean rooms with a comfortable bed and amazing shower, and very friendly staff. The food was top notch, with abundant variety and flavour included at the buffet and and specialty restaurants. The coffee shop became a daily stop for us offering a variety of muffins, fruits, sandwiches and ice cream as well as tasty coffee all served by a very friendly and lively young lady. The large pool was refr [... read more]eshing and the Vibe team encouraged participation in many fun activities. We especially enjoyed the Aqua Fit and Aqua Cycling. The nightly shows were entertaining. Our only recommendation would be to post the daily activities and times in a central location for guests to see.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Casa Marina is fantastic

We were very impressed by the reception area. The staff are very informative and helpful. We did pay extra for the garden view room and I don't think it was worth it. The room was tidy but not clean. There was mold on the shower screen...they did javex it to remove. The closet door fell off it's track, the TV was tempremental and the phone did not ever work. The beds were comfortable and clean. El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: A week in January 2026 at El Beso

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Great resort

First off reading reviews on trip advisor I was wondering if I made the wrong choice of resort. I was so happy we didn't listen and change resorts. The deluxe pool view room was always clean and fridge restocked daily if not you just have to ask. Pools 7 or 8 in total werent perfectly cleaned but what resorts are. Beach was lovely and large ,sargassum but not resorts fault someone always cleaning. Buffet always had plenty of choices so you never went hungry. Viva V Samana by Wyndham: Judge for yourself

We almost cancelled based on the reviews. We were there January 24-31, 2026. The one and only complaint we have is that the food was never warm enough. It wouldn’t matter what restaurant you went to the food was cold. As for people saying they were sick, you’re in a different country eating and drinking differently so yes you may have an upset stomach. We all ate the food and no one was ill. Take what you read with a grain of salt. After being there we are glad we didn’t cancel. We will return.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: amazing resort

I would like to give a shout out to 3 special employees that helped us at punta can hard rock. they went out of there way to help us out. Ramone in room service and Daniella at the Bongos pool bar and Yoao the bellman. They all made our stay much better with great service and making us feel very comfortable

Ocean Blue and Sand: Nice Resort

It was a nice hotel although not a 5 star resort overall. Rooms were worn out. Definitely need an upgrade. Drinks at the bar were afoul.. hardly any alcohol in them. Lady at the beach bar not very friendly. I’m not a big drinker although I’d like to enjoy my cocktail ones in a while. Also the management had to do something about reserving the lounge chairs at the beach as well as around the pool area. People reserve them early in the morning 7 am and not show up half the day. Room cleaning service also good.
