Paradisus Punta Cana: wonderful family holiday

we traveled with our daughter, husband and 2 granddaughters ages 2 and 4 and enjoyed the resort very much. Food was great and there was lots for them to do. The pool near the buffet had lots of shallow and shaded areas and the kids pool was great too. Staff were very kind and good with the children. we would not hesitate to go back to that resort and do recommend it

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: very nice hotel...4*

When we got there we upgraded to VIP and we are very happy we did because it was worth the $350. This resort was a fun and there was always something going on somewhere and the food was very good. But there wasn't very many Canadians, I would say 85% of the people there were Europeans and the other 15% were Americans and Canadians. This resort could use a total paint job because it's looking a little rough but all in all it was worth the money we spent.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Great resort

I stayed in building B which was close to everything. People that work at this hotel, makes this a enjoyable resort. The food was good and you can have your pick...you will not go Hungary. I will go back for sure.

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: Great family vacation

This hotel is modern with lots of amenities and a nice small size resort so it's quick to get around. We loves having access to the water park just a quick 5 min walk and the beach is one of the nicest we've been to. The food at the buffet was great. It's a nice place to relax.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Good Times !!!!

we had a great time ... we only stayed 4 nights but we wish we could have stayed longer. I like that it was a short ride from the airport. The staff was great. The food was a nice variety that satisfied everyone. The rooms were clean and the pools were awesome. The beach was clean and you could walk for hours. We would definitely go back

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Fantastic !

Just got back from Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda, gorgeous hotel , had the 3rd floor corner room facing the pool and a view of the ocean, very clean , excellent room service, the grounds are immaculate, people great ! There are plenty of restaurants to book , but we really liked the buffet style since there are so many choices , each night they had a theme ( American , Mexican , Italian , Dominican, Asian, etc... ) lobster, shrimp, fish, chicken, beef, you name it they had it , and every da [... read more]y was "paella" time on the beach........We had great weather, smooth flight , the airport people were great, breezed thru customs and check in was 10 min. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing resort!

Hotel and everything around is excellent.We enjoy in really good organization, nice people and stuffs, plenty of activity,excellent food, night variety programs and certainly splendid beach and sea.I hope that we will be in possibility to come back soon.Thank you!!!

Riu Republica: had a wonderful time!

I really enjoyed the resort. I think it is a four star not five star. I would have preferred good alcohol. I did enjoy the staff and entertainment group The food was okay but I did not find any seafood. The beach was beautiful but you could not see it from the resort until you walked to it.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Amazing Resort

This was our second time to this amazing resort and we stayed in the Colonial Club area. Even though we were not given the reception when we first arrived our butler Deleon was very prompt in getting our incredible room ready for us. From there on from the entertainment staff to the bartender Carlos at the swim up bar and the towel guy Juan Bernardo our trip was extremely enjoyable. All and all this is definitely a resort we would recommend to couples and families and we are hoping to visit there again one day.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Not Quite A 5 Star

This hotel had amazing grounds. Shrubs and lawns were well maintained by the staff. The cleanliness of our room was amazing...we stayed in building 30, room 211. The negatives were (1)the language barriers. We felt allot of the staff didn't speak or understand English very well. The management at the resort may have not considered this to be a problem, as 90% of their clients were European. Secondly, the amount of rude Europeans we discovered at the buffet. They were always butting in  [... read more]line ahead of you, disregarding that you were waiting your turn ( as a good Canadian does). Thirdly, the buffet food. The selection seemed to cater more to foods that Europeans would eat, rather than that type of food North Americans would be used to. The food at the buffet was generally not hot, lukewarm at best. This may have been due to the large volume of people they had to feed in a short period of time. The beach had plenty of loungers but we found they were so far down to the waterline, that there was no place really, to walk the beach , if you wanted to. We also found that this resort really catered to families. Many, many small children continuously wining while you were trying to eat in the buffet. Sorry for the negativity but this is how we saw it. Will we go to Bahia again? Yes, but regrettably not in Punta Cana. P.S. If you select this resort please take bug spray as those little mosquitoes bite.

Occidental Caribe: Great resort

I found the resort very clean and well maintain.Service was very good from wait staff to house cleaning. they had lots of activities for every age. The beaches are the best I have see. Food was good not great but very good.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: great resort

The resort was all we could have hoped for. Looking forward to go again. The restaurants were great, staff very helpful, premises very clean. Activities around the pools, and nightly entertainment were quite good

Punta Cana Princess: Best honeymoon ever!

We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was a beautiful 2 floor suite with 2 balconies. Everyday was beautiful at this resort. The food was great. It was clean. Lots to do. Beach was amazing. The staff was so attentive, friendly and overall always happy! We went on the dune buggies excursion booked through Nexus, which we thoroughly enjoyed and would do again. Also went on a booze cruise booked through Seapro, was also great fun! This adults only resort was nice and quieter with just the right a [... read more]mount of fun activities to keep the younger adults entertained ;). We also had access to the neighbouring resorts which we often visited as their grounds were beautiful with peacocks and all different bird walking around freely. We so enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fantastic adults only place to relax but also have fun!

Grand Palladium Palace: fantastic resort

Wonderful stay. Beautiful clean rooms and grounds. Beach was amazing. There is a shuttle to take you around when needed. Excellent food and entertainment. Very polite and helpful employees. We will definately return to this resort!

Paradisus Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort

The grounds were beautiful, landscaping staff were there daily, cutting down any palm branches or coconuts that may fall during the day. Lobby was also beautiful with its ponds, flamingos, ducks, turtles... The bars would make any concoction you wanted and all the bartenders were very friendly. A bit of a language barrier when it came to Crown & Ginger (I received Crown & Tonic, but couldn't let Crown go to waste:). Our room, which was huge and beautifully decorated was well cleaned daily  [... read more]and mini bar was replenished, always lots of bottled water supplied. Really appreciated that water and the wonderful air conditioning every time I returned to the room and that was the only decent a/c you will find. Beach was amazing and clean. Always towels available and had no trouble finding an empty palapa to spend time under. Had heard so many stories about mosquitoes but was only bitten twice during a week at the resort, I was bitten 8 more times at the airport waiting for the flight home. The wait staff at Gabi Beach were a little unfriendly perhaps because of the language barrier. They seemed to spend more time visiting amongst themselves than taking care of the guests. If you aren't a fan of salt, you will have a tough time finding anything that isn't already salted for you. I usually add salt without tasting but only did that once before learning extra wasn't needed (ever). Our room (on the ground floor) smelled very musty and all my clothes and luggage smelled when I returned home. Washing all the clothes fixed that but the luggage has retained the smell. Maybe rooms on the higher floor wouldn't have this problem?

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing Beach!

This is a massive and beautiful resort, the grounds are lovely and our rooms were lovely. The buffet is not great but we did not go hungry. My husband stood in line for an hour at guest services to try and book reservations at any of the restaurants. I would have appreciated an advance email from the resort advising us to do that in advance of our trip to avoid the disappointment of not being able to try any. We should not have had to learn that from other guests when it was already to late. [... read more] The beach at this resort is spectacular and we never had any difficulty getting a palapa. We would have had to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve one close to the water but we were always able to get one and we spent our entire week there, preferring it over the pool. We went to one show, the Michael Jackson Tribute and it was excellent. The resort is massive and like a maze if you have never been there before, but there is plenty of transportation so that you don't have to walk a long distance to get anywhere. Service was hit and miss but good when you got it. Housekeeping was excellent and our rooms were clean and comfortable and we were given plenty of water.

Grand Palladium Palace: Definitely 5 Stars from us!

We stayed at the Palace the end of October. The newly renovated rooms were great although I would say there were some design flaws but nothing that effected our stay. The food was amazing! Lots of variety and even the pickiest eater wouldn't have trouble finding something to eat. Although we don't speak a word of Spanish we were still able to communicate and the staff were overall very friendly. My only suggestion is if you don't speak Spanish and need service (maintenance/housekeeping/etc) don' [... read more]t waste your time phoning, just go to the main lobby and speak to someone in person or you will be waiting forever to hear back from someone. I can only assume it was the language barrier. The grounds were impeccably maintained! Beautiful mature gardens/landscapes. Lots to do or if you just want to relax, there are many pools and a long gorgeous beach to lounge and relax on. Would definitely go back! Just keep in mind you aren't at home and you can't go anywhere expecting perfection or you will always be disappointed wherever you go. Have fun and enjoy the ambiance and atmosphere!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing resort

What a great place for a vacation. Staff couldn't do enough for you, food was great and plentiful. Beach was amazing. Lots of things to do, never was bored. 1week was not enough time to do & see everything. The evening shows were very good.

Excellence Punta Cana: Amazing Resort!!!!!

I loved everything about this resort. The staff was frendly, the rooms were clean and nice, the food was delicous. Would go back in a second. The beach was beautiful and the pools were never overcrowded. You never needed a reservation for dinner. AMAZING!

Occidental Caribe: Great views!!

The staff was very friendly. The food was okkay. The views are amazing. Only sad part was the hotel was in the middle of renovations and change of owners and it was felt in service from the front desk and in the cleanliness of the rooms
