Ocean Riviera Paradise: Very fun resort !

I went with my brother and a couple friends all around 24 years old. This was probably the funnest resort I’ve been to. We really liked how they had an adult pool so everyone 18 and up could get away from the kids, they always had entertainment at the pool and good music. There is always something fun going on somewhere on at the resort. The only thing I didn’t like was the beach was kinda dirty with sea weed. They didn’t clean it that often. But we mostly hung out at the adult pool and pa [... read more]rticipated in the activity’s there. At night on Saturdays they have beach parties which are really fun. There are guys that advertise coco bongo and will sell you tickets. It’s $100 and some (I forget the exact price) but it’s only for a general ticket. If I went again I’d probably just go online and buy a VIP ticket because when we got there we were standing the whole time and it was crazy busy. Everyone was shoulder to shoulder, if I was older I would’ve hated my life. But anyways I recommend coco bongo with VIP tickets.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing weather and good food

this hotel was a dream when it first opened in 2015, everything top notch to promote its opening...we just came back from there and it has dropped from top notch to just another nice resort in the mayan Riviera!!! The buffet restaurant is not that good so everyone goes to the featured restaurants, which are good( the dorado was our fave). The sports bar has slipped in my opinion, along with the martini bar. There is no longer plastic straws which is an awesome perception, but something like a pa [... read more]per straw would've been nice to stir that nice slushy drink with!! Overall the weather was the best and still had fun, just not like a 5star anymore...3.5 to 4star maybe, the beach has a ton of seaweed washing up now and was weird to notice that it was brought up around the grounds below the rooms to do god knows what with, but could not sit on our balcony due to the stench from it :(

Grand Sunset Princess: Amazing resort

The grounds were Amazing, the food was awesome, the beach was perfect and the staff were very friendly I didn't like that we had to wait over an hour in line to check in at the lobby when we arrived because multiple buses arrived at the same time, more staff needed at front lobby during busy times.

Kore Tulum Retreat Wellness Resort: A great trip and an amazing resort..loved everything about it...!!!

Loved the food..the people we had an amazing spa experience. Everything about the resort was A1. For a quiet adult only resort definitely a good experience. There was a great variety of food when it came to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Michelle from West Jet was able to set us up for an excursion that included zip lining and checking out the Mayan ruins.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Amazing time at the Barcelo Maya Caribe!

This is hands down one of the best resorts we've ever been to! The service we received was fantastic and the food was great! Lots of variety every day and more à la carte restaurants than you can possibly eat at in one week. The pools were gorgeous and the grounds were well maintained. The beach was a bit disappointing - it was quite rocky and difficult to walk on and a ton of algae washed up on the beach. Although hotel staff did a good job at removing as much as possible every day. The rooms  [... read more]were average, could use some updating. But we had no issues! We travelled with our 4 year old daughter and there was always a ton for her to do: mini mall in the resort with a carousel and indoor skating, several kiddy pools with slides, free dolphin shows, mini disco, kids club. The list goes on! We will definitely return to the Barcelo Maya Caribe!!

Grand Sunset Princess: Beautiful!!

I had an amazing time for my first all inclusive vacay!! Room was amazing, the grounds were beautiful and the staff were incredible oh and the food nice selection and delicious Thank you next time i'd like to stay 2 weeks !!

Riu Palace Baja California: Modern Resort

The hotel was clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Tips are expected. The buffet food had good selection with chefs available cooking non-stop. The food at the buffet is the same every day except for one station. There’s no nice way of saying this but; The restaurant selections were minimal and the food was terrible. The suite was nice and clean. We had to call for water and coffee separately to be refilled by different service staff as housekeeping does not automatically do that when they  [... read more]clean your room. That was very time consuming and took away from our time enjoying Los Cabos. We hardly slept the week that we stayed since the noise travels throughout the hotel (Bring Ear plugs). Also the resort next door the Santa Fe has pool parties Monday Wednesday Friday Saturday from 2pm-7pm which is great as long as you don’t want to have an afternoon nap since you heard everything. The activities in the pool were fun but it was always the same activities every day. The pools infinity pools are beautiful but they are not heated and were freezing. The drinks at each bar varied in quality. If you went to the same bar the drinks were never made the same. The best drinks were upstairs away from the pool at the Martini bar. Staffing around the pool was lacking and the staff members had a lot of people to serve it turned out to be better to go to the bar yourself. The gift shop has minimal selection of items so if you need anything best to bring it with you or go shopping in town. The SunWing staff were amazing throughout our entire stay any questions we had and any excursions we took they helped us out which made our vacation more enjoyable.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great resort

Very clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Offered me a free upgrade when I arrived and it was a amazing room. Ginormous jetted tub, cleaning staff Carmen left me these beautiful towel art pieces on the edge of my tub each day. She put rose pedals all around the tub, flower arrangements out each day. These all made me feel like royalty. I would recommend this hotel chain to everyone.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good value!

Flight was good.Took 4,5 hours from YVR to Cancun and THREE hours from Cancun to Coba. Shame on WestJest for such transfer! If we knew, we'd rather take a taxi.Beach was cleaned on daily basis.Thanks!

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Fun getaway

The resort was great, the staff are very friendly and go above and beyond. Participated in a ping pong tournament, dance lessons. Watched a show,listened to some music. Close to Bucerias, nice beaches.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Lovely Resort!

Second time at this resort complex, first time we stayed at the Beach section and this time the Colonial section. We definitely return in the future as they are building a sixth "Adults Only" section that will be amazing! The entire complex is so clean and garbage free! We were very impressed.

Riu Santa Fe: Great resort

The resort was amazing. Clean and staff were very courteous. Food was great. Fun fun fun. Excursions were good and our Sunwing rep. Was very helpful . I would recommend this resort to everyone . The beach was always clean. Drinks were very good. I will go again

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Great Resort

Overall the hotel was in excellent condition first class service first class accommodations any and all problems reported were resolved immediately. For an all inclusive the à la cart restaurants were very good the buffets were about average. Swim up room was awesome great place to relax

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Beautiful property

The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Loved the double rainhead shower. Our swim out room and a large patio area and lots of places to sit. The pool area was immaculate and cleaned every morning.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Fantastic Mexican Fiesta !!

Was very much impressed with the hotel. It is a real Big Complex with the resort like atmosphere just a few feet from the Ocean !! The upkeep of the building and the landscaping was immaculate and the cleanliness of the Resort and the food and drinks were A1 and fabulous, including the Nightly Showtime Shows every night and the Fine Dining was superb. We paid a 3 star price for a 5 star location !! Definitely going back soon.

Riu Santa Fe: AWESOME

This hotel had something for everyone. Adults only themed parties, splash pad for kids or relax on the beach. Food was fantastic and the a la cartes were excellent. 24 hour sports bar came in handy. Did one excursion which went very smooth. Felt safe downtown Cabos and San Jose. Met many fellow Canadians and wasn't surprised to hear that many people we met have come to this resort because its excellent.I know this was my first time here but it won't be my last.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing Resort

We stayed in the adults only section. Loved it. The food is fantastic with lots of options. The rooms are modern and clean. This was our second stay at a Royalton property. This one also did not disappoint.

upon arrival at the airport we were greeted by our Sunwing Rep, this process to the bus was very smooth and quick. arriving to the resort we were hoping that this would most likely be the family drop off and that we would surely be driving to a second location for the adult portion of the resort (Hideaway). however to our dissappoitnment that was not the case. we were greeted by very friendly staff and once the paper work and logistics were worked out, off to our room. again with disappointm [... read more]ent knowing that because we were walking the adult resort was certainly going to be close to the large family building. I would like to stress when you are booking this hotel for an adult couple, strongly stress that this is a large resort and a very family oriented resort. the Hideaway thougbeit their adult version, was not ours. with the very small selection of 2 restaurants we had to find our way over every night to choose a restaurant with many playful children and extreme wait times, in fact some we never made because of this very reason. there was not a lot going on for us either. we did however enjoy a few evenings dedicated to us at the Hideaway. I can say that the resort itself was lovely, and not much was missed in way of services, but I will not go back and would only recommend as a family resort. the staff were amazing and as lovely as ever. I love Mexico and the amazing people that live and work there.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: You get what you pay for.

TripCentral emailed asking for this review, but honestly I probably would of wrote it either way. Officially my first review to give some context, but I was motivated to at least inform potential guests either way. I'll ramble for sure, but hopefully it is useful. First and mainly, this resort is O-K. Not great, not terrible. I read dozens of reviews prior to my trip and there were plenty of both. Here's whats true imo: - The beach is awful. There is a lagoon about a km down you can wal [... read more]k to, but its not great for swimming. If you want to tan there are plenty of chairs, great. If you want to swim, hard no. Pool, or excursion. I highly recommend Xel-Ha. -The rooms do smell musty. Some worse than others. Our first room was awful, but one phone call, 10 mins and we were moved. The second room was noticeably better, but the A/C does have a musty smell. Credit to the service team here for quickly moving us. I can easily see why reviews can go off the rails here. You get what you pay for. -The resort is old. It is worn in many places, but is kept very clean. The grounds, rooms, pools, restaurants are all very clean. We saw plenty of staff working to clean all of these areas regularly. You get what you pay for. -The sewer smell is real, but its not sewage. You can be educated on this if you need to be. Its not overpowering, but its there occasionally. It never ruined any of our experience. -The buffet is nice. The restaurants were OK. Steakhouse and Mexican were good. Italian, Seafood and French, were not. It was simple to book through a concierge and were never turned away as we booked in the morning the day prior. -The Pools are great, probably the best part of this resort. They are old, and there are tiles needing repair. But we did see workers attending to this almost every morning. -Drinks are o-k. If you want premium booze, you will need to ask for it. Otherwise no name well shots used in most drinks. Our room was also restocked daily with beer, pop, water and we were given a free bottle of tequila on day 1. - Free activities - not much going on... at all. There is options for pay to play jet-skis and excursions. Some worth it, some not at all. Even less going on at night. Black and White bar is ....a resort bar. There was a market three nights until midnight with local vendors. Prices were...eh..touristy. - The nightly shows are O-K. Some of them were pretty entertaining, just dont expect Broadway. You get what you pay for. - The sales pitch. You WILL be harassed. You will have a BEST FRIEND until you attend one of the sessions. Personally I went just to see what it was about, but you can tell them to take a hike. We were given 200.00 toward excursions for 2.5hrs of chat. So take that for what its worth. I went, I learned, I passed. I still got the 200.00. Once you do go and say no, you will never see your best friend again. You will still be approached regularly by others. In short, cleanliness, the food is OK, and the pools are big and nice to hang around. The bad I have outlined above. Mostly that its an older resort, not a bad value if you get it on the cheap and that the beach is basically non-existent. The the main point is that you get what you pay for. This is an OK resort, but I would never pay a dime more than I did to go here and I doubt I will ever go back. I paid about 1400.00 CAN and had a nice time. I dont feel burned. If a friend asked, I would tell them to spend a couple hundred more, to go to a much nicer resort.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Amazing resort for families with young ones

This trip was a dream vacation , we went with our daughter and Son-in-law with their 8 month old baby. We were assigned a floor level accommodation, they had the one bedroom and us the adjacent deluxe room. They were both spacious and well appointed. fridge and safe and the one bedroom had all baby stuff brought in : Crib, baby tub, bottle warmer, stroller .. wow!
