Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great Family Vacation (Kids older than 12)

We were very tired when we arrived to the hotel but the staff immediately brought us desserts for the kids and drinks for the adults. We felt very welcomed and relaxed. This resort is very good for families with kids over the age of 12. Our cousins came to the Coba resort (because they had younger kids and there was a water park.) This was the first vacation that really brought the family together and we forgot about all the stress. The food was amazing especially on Christmas Eve (lobster, lobster tails and lot's of seafood.) We also a great time on Christmas because they showed the true meaning of the Christian holiday and had lot's of decorations revealing the birth of Jesus Christ. Thank you for the amazing service, food, cleanliness and etc. Our kids and us (parents) will be coming back to visit, maybe next Christmas!

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Enjoyable

This is our third stay at an Iberostar resort and we are happy to say that we were not disappointed. We had a minor hiccup with our room cleaning, the Staff was quick to correct the problem and our chambermaid was very apologetic. Overall, the service Staff was excellent...we would like to thank our concierge, Tatiana, for all of her assistance. She is very pleasant and helpful. During the day, the Lindo pool had plenty of activities. The beach was excellent as well.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Terrible Experience

Cockroaches in the washroom, raccoons running over dinning areas after closing, boring entertament starting very late followed by an hour long "disco". Never coming back there. Cheap alkohol selection. Crown Royal only for VIP guests LOL terrible :(

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Excellent Resort

The service, security, food and overall place is just amazing. May be need to add more vegetarian choices in the food. A Le Carte Indian restaurant would be nice. I liked the pool, transportation to and from airport. Clean beaches and towel service

El Dorado Casitas Royale: Perfect holiday - definitely going back!

We were blown away by El Dorado Casitas Royale. We have never been to the same resort twice, and on the second day we were both saying we had to come back. The food is was the best food we've ever had at a resort (and better than most restaurants back home!), and they were able to cater to my multiple food allergies. The room was perfect and spacious and the outdoor shower was great! We had a swim up casita, but spent all of our time at the joint pool or the beach. No matter where we wer [... read more]e lounging, the staff always asked how our room was and to let them know if there were any complaints (which we didn't have!). We have never had this type of service or concern for our room from the bartender or beach butler! We are already planning our return to El Dorado Casitas Royale and have been raving about it to everyone since our return a few days ago.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great resort!

Myself and my family with young child stayed at the resort from Dec.19 to Dec.26th. Ohhhh my God not sure from where to start. Grounds are beatiful and kept very clean at all times. Rooms are big with very comfy bed, fridge restocked every day with variety of soft drinks like coke, sprite, fanta, water and beer. Buffet is amazing with a great variety of food, such as mexican buffet, chineese buffet, desserts, fruits, ice cream, salads. Several a la carte restaurants like Brazilian, Japaneese,  [... read more]Sea food, International, Medeteranian, Tequila restaurant and several others spread between the Tulum and Coba resourts. We were allowed to use the restaurants and the buffets at both resourts the Tulum and the Coba. At the Coba there is daulphins show every day at 11:30 am which everyone can attend and it was free as well. The Coba portion of the resorts had a water park for the children. Staff at the resourt was working around the clock to make sure there is no shortage of food, that everything is clean. Only not very good thing was the evening shows scheduled for 9:00 pm. They were either none or very poor organized or rescheduled at the last moment. Overall great resort!

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: MORE THAN EXPECTED!!!

We can't say enough things about how wonderful this resort was. The pictures can never do it justice. From the beautiful rooms, lavish grounds, pristine beach and gorgeous entryways impressive all around. The food was amazing and kept incredibly clean, there were gluten free options and many restaurants to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful and the resort had so many activities to participate in. We will be back! Thank you Valentin for an unforgettable experience.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Fantastic resort

The grounds at this resort are amazing and very well maintained. Stayed in a golden suite which was beautiful and very clean Food and drinks were exceptional. Pool areas are fantastic, lazy river was very relaxing. If you want to whop it up then the main pool is the place to be. Special thanks to all the staff at this resort for making our stay very enjoyable. So happy to see so many people smile every day and a big hello.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Super deluxe

This was a fantastic week..great foods..pools..ocean beaches turtles..have recommended it to a couple already they will call you..we did 1 extra trip to Xcaret worth every penny of the 150.00 approx..12 hours not enough to see this park..super show at 8 pm for 2 hours

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an is a synonym for Paradise!

The service throughout the resort is impeccable. The room was perfect, roomy and clean. The hotel grounds are pristine! It is peaceful and quiet, in the middle of a jungle surrounded by birds and trees.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Awesome resorts

Very good,clean hotel and facilities,restaurants are high class and very good and clean with amazing variety of food and drinks,pools and bars are also very good and well designed,all details are beautiful and carefully designed and maintained,especially high quality Gim and Spa . House keeping crews where working very hard to keep facilitiy clean and good looking. Entire personal was friendly and smiling all the time.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Excellent resort

Overall excellent food and services. Very good for tennis players: 3 hard courts and 2 artificial courts. It's easy to find partners for doubles. The service at the main buffet was very good. Polite staff and friendly. Grand Bahia Principe is very well located, near Playa del Carmen and not too far from the different excursions. We enjoy our stay at Bahia Principe Tulum and we'll go back next year.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Awesome with a catch

We just enjoyed our 10th visit to Coba which was great. The resort staff and the food are fantastic.Lots to do on the resort and an amazing variety of extra activities available nearby. Our disappointment this year was the fact that we were previously told as a 10 time guest we would qualify again for VIP extra perks and special considerations. Unknown to us their Head Office changed all VIP perks (effective Nov.1/16) for returning guests starting on their 11th visit, and it was very unclear j [... read more]ust what our status really was. The communication with the resort before we left was very poor as we were not told what we got as a 10 time returning guest and once we arrived we found out we didnt get much. We will consider going back but before we book again we will confirm what the Coba has to offer.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Nice resort

We found the resort overall to be nice, it wasn't amazing though. There were a lot of kids as it's very much family oriented but we still had fun as a couple. The food was okay in the buffets, if you go anytime around an hour after it opens the food is cold and there's not as much selection. The restaurants were much better, we tried the Brazilian, Mediterranean, Japanese, and the don Pablo gourmet and all were delicious. We also had a leak in our bathroom but they were right on top of it and fixed it within a couple hours. The beach had a red flag up our whole trip as it was very wavy but they have little areas blocked off that you can still go into where they break the waves. There's beach volleyball too at tulum.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Great resort!

This resort offers great service and lots of amenities. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The beach is great, but the water is quite dirty (lots of seaweed) so if you're looking to spend all your time in the ocean, you may not enjoy it.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Amazing Resort!

We thought this resort was outstanding. The food at the main buffet was excellent, always changing the variety of food from day to day. The grounds were well kept, the staff was very polite and friendly. The beach was a bit rocky but we're not really beach people and the pools more than made up for the beach. The steakhouse a la carte was a bit of a disappointment which likely was due mainly to the poor service we received. All in all, we can't wait to go back.

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Wonderful vacation!!!

Resort was great a bit big but shuttle service available distance from farthest room to beach is approximately.8 Km. Great for working off excess calories there is a donkey and goat enclosure as well as cat cafe along the way. All amenities are in between. Al la cartes were delicious and beach was an absolute 10. Could walk or bike to town very safe tourists everywhere it's about 2.5 km. Great shopping and local fare. Would definitely return to this resort again was there 10 years ago but won't  [... read more]wait that long again. Happy holidays!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful resort with great service!

When we arrived we were immediately upgraded from Gran Bahia Principe Coba to Gran Bahia Principe Tulum. This was great as Tulum is steps from the beach. Rooms were not spectacular but overall the resort was beautiful and the service was great as well. We travelled with our 22 month old son and our needs were always looked after.

Desire Resort: Exceptional Staff

Resort for open minded couples. The HIGH price reflects the aspect of the resort NOT the food and drinks and rooms....I definitely think they need to upgrade the drinks and food for the price paid. Rooms are clean but need upgrading which they are in the process of. Unfortunately, the beach was not good due to a recent storm from Mother Nature. The staff here are exceptional. Very nice spa area as well. If your into a swinger lifestyle and nudity, definitely the right place. Although if you don't want to participate in either, no one their is bothered. Royal Hideaway Playacar: Amazing!

Just a great adults only resort. One of the best in the Playacar area. The grounds are beautiful with resort amenities not over subscribed. No line-ups here! There were plenty of places to discover a tranquil moment with a special friend or loved one. The food was consistently good; better than many of the other resorts in the area. The staff are very courtious and always made that extra effort to make our stay memorable. We will return there again in the spring.
